Wow!!! First and foremost we received great service!!! We reserved an area to eat dinner here after jumping at sky zone for my son's 10th bday celebration! We only invited our immediate family members since Shakey's is really good but not cheap. Shakey's is in the same center/perimeter as sky zone. Once we arrived with our party of 39 family members . They had a big great area reserved for us. I am glad there were 3 televisions in our area to view the game, since all family members are Dodger fans/SC fans. We placed our order within minutes they started bringing our food. Since we were a pretty big party we had two amazing servers, one named Elizabeth, and other girl was so sweet but for the love of God, I can't recall her name. Anyhow, they kept checking on our party, and brought all of our food, beer, and drinks. They even stored our cakes and ice cream. When it was time for our cake and ice-cream the girls helped us out with their own cake plates and forks, they even brought us a lighter to light up my son's cake. We were so happy we gave them each a huge tip! Very well deserved! Thank you Shakey's for dealing with our family of 38 people, and making my son's 10th memorable. read more

Love Shakeys Parlor. Man, I have been coming out here for years and years since the 90s when I lived in Glendora. We used to come down here all the time for pizza and buffet. I was here recently with my girl and friends and all . Ordered a couple of pizzas and ate in the buffet. Parking is always plentiful. Big parking lot right by the movie theater and all. The first thing I noticed about mark was his positive attitude and refreshing personality. He first greeted my party warmly then swiftly removed our dishes right after we finished using them, which I was impressed by because that let me know that he is very attentive with his customers. Shakey's has been a staple in my family since I was a child. The El Monte location was a favorite for birthday parties, after-game celebrations, or just for lunch/dinner. Nowadays I don't eat it as much, but the flavors always take me back to memorable times. I ordered from this location twice in the last 9 months. I had to get the PCM combos, of course! Both times the food was delicious, and service was top notch. It is a bit pricy compared to other pizza spots, but worth it for trip down memory lane. Tried bunch of lunch one more time! Very busy due to the holiday. Was very impressed at how fast they got the food out. Long lines to get the food but actually went pretty fast. Everything was good and hot. You now pay extra if you want a breast or wings! That's fine it's actually on the menu as such. The one thing I thought was strange was we were told we could only order a limited amount of white meat! According to the manager she said they have to use it for to go orders! The game machines either stole your money or did not turn on at all! Basketball machines with no basketballs, it is just a mess at this location!! I told one of the managers of the playroom situation she promptly had another employee deal with me and nothing happened really.
