    Rustic Garlic Chicken Pizza
    Vahe A.

I can't believe I never had Shakey's until now. Might be my new favorite chain pizza. I got the Rustic Garlic Chicken on thin crust and it was pretty good. The ingredients blended perfectly together and the crust was one of the best crusts I had in a minute.

Came in on a Friday for bunch a lunch, and it was hopping! They kept the food coming, hot and fresh! I have been to several other Shakey's restaurants, but this one is the best one hands down. The variety is large, as is the space. They have a parking lot that is shared with a few other businesses so it fills up, but there is street parking too. The staff are constantly cleaning, restocking and checking in with you to see if everything is good. I appreciate that personalized touch.

From the buffet: they have baked chicken as alternative to their fried chicken.

My kids love Shakey's, so time to time my husband and I bring them here. Lunch Buffet: 11am to 2pm (everyday) Manager at this location is attentive and personable. For a busy location they keep the food area like the salad bar and buffet station clean and are constantly refilling fresh food. Service: 5 stars. Food: 2 stars (too salty!). Kid friendly place. Busy location with good private parking lot.

This is "the favorite" catering order plus a few party trays of chicken, wings, brownies. Great variety and classic.

With so many pizza options out there today, it's heartwarming to see a classic institution still alive and thriving. As a kid I've gone to so many shakeys for sports team meetups and appreciation awards and now it's really nice to have my little guy and his little league team go too! I had the pleasure of working with the GM Juan and he was super nice and accommodating to our lively group of 10 energetic kiddos plus 25 families. The server also name Juan was very attentive and checked on us often for refills etc. the food speaks for itself and it's homey, like it hasn't changed ever. Good ol tasty mojo potatoes and super moist flavorful fried thicken and ofc the pizza.... thin and thick crust were yum! Thanks for a great memorable meal Shakeys! We will be back soon.

I'm writing this as I reheat my leftover pizza. While I don't frequent Shakey's as much as I used to for Bunch a Lunch, we do come every so often. After getting over the initial sticker shock, because you know, INFLATION.. you are greeted by some of the friendliest and most helpful staff in town. I don't say this lightly because we know how this next generation is shaping up, and these kids are genuinely sweet and polite, and not complete air heads. The food is great. My favorite thing is of course their famous mojo potatoes. Fried chicken can rival any fast food chicken joint and win. The pizza is one of my son's favorites. We usually get 2 pizzas - one cheese and one Shakey's Special, both on their thin crust. They have a small arcade to keep the kids occupied enough so that you can enjoy the game on one of their many televisions, including the giant ones in the main dining room. There is plenty of parking in the shared lot. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff is very good about coming around and picking up dirty dishes. I highly recommend coming for their Bunch a Lunch lunch buffet. You can have a little bit of everything, and the food makes a pretty quick turn around so everything is fresh.

The pizza and beer was bomb AF it's Modelo time foo!

We came in with a party of 9. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. Everyone that helped us was super friendly and very helpful. Thank you Jeremies and Walfredo for all your help. This is the best Shakeys in LA

Pizza buffet with spaghetti, steamed veggies, rice, mojo potatoes and fried chicken

We were visiting from Texas and wanted to go to a Shakey's since they have long disappeared from Texas. It did not disappoint. We got there just as they were opening for lunch and had the amazing buffet. Lots of pizza choices and the manager couldn't have been any nicer. I asked for a meat lovers pizza to be made and he did it immediately. Lots of choices on the buffet besides pizza, spaghetti, mojo potatoes (Yum!!) and fried chicken! It was all very good. The salad bar is great as well. The employees were so nice and we couldn't have had a better visit. I guess sometimes you can go to your (pizza) home again! Highly recommend this place.

We have a reservation for 50 people on December 26, 2025, at 11:00 am, as I was paying the manager in the Glendale area Juan was very rude to me and my sister, I told him how many people we had and not everyone showed up because it was raining, he said he just needed the unused plates, so as I handed him the plates, he said there were 10 plates, so he said he was going to charges me for 40 plates and 40 drinks, because, he gave us 50 plates, but as the staff was coming and getting the used plates , our guests was using the other plates, and it was a buffet , then Juan asked me how many children under 10, as I was counting he rudely interrupted and yelled " Do you understand English " , I told him yes, I'm a teacher, so I was being professional and didn't go to his level and paid the $767,64, we will never go to that Glendale location again for people like him, no respect.

Love this shakeys, they always taking care of us when we have party's here. Shoutout to Jeremy for the service, took care of me and the family. Much appreciated.

    Chicken wings
    Anush A.

This must to be a joke . Order wings as I always do and receiving burned , dry meat with nasty smell . The ranch they put is almost empty like somebody already ate it . Their wings have been always very good but this time I got a bad surprise inside . Very disappointing!

Drinks how cool of a place to get a drink in a clean area!

I could fill-up on their salmon sashimi alone (I definitely get a plate to start with) & be decently satisfied. That said, there's so much here to be pleased with. It's no secret that many buffets have done away with crab legs. Sometimes, I wonder how many populations of crab my family has decimated alone. But I have to admit, during this visit I've literally never seen 2 people put away so many crawfish - (in my humble opinion, the "poor man's lobster"). I'm not trying to exaggerate, but I feel like these 2 people alone put crawfish on the endangered species list. There's a decent variety of Sushi, Asian-American, American, & a grill-to-order-station. The dessert selection has a decent variety of fruits, your standard buffet pastries, & an unmistakable ice cream freezer (to scoop from gallons). Pro-Tip: When scooping ice-cream, it always helps to dip the scooper & rinse it under the running facet - it also helps to prevent cross contamination of different flavors. Another tip: Don't even think of trying to "sneak-in" crab legs onto your plate by only paying the lunch price - the staff always knows who has paid for the extra price of dinner.

Fuji itself was probably like 40-50% occupied and there was plenty of parking. For $37 (and 20% for seniors on Mon/Tues), I thought it was pretty worth for the amount of food we ate. - Korean rib (grill): thinly cut, tender, and nicely marinated (even when you don't ask for any special sauces). so yummy to eat it fresh off the grill - snow crab: i prefer eating this hot than chilled, and it hit the spot! meaty, sweet crab. they refilled this often - cajun seafood: not too salty! includes mussels, shrimps, thin corn cobs which I actually prefer - crawfish: nicely marinated and tasty but dry meat ); parents said the last time they had this here a month ago it was better - salmon sashimi was also restocked and tasted fresh - Fish maw soup/chowder: both were tasty as well - matcha ice cream: yummm - lots of fresh fruit options: blueberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, cherries even Other selections are standard and not bad. Dim Sum is unique but usually not done well so I didn't even bother. Chicken feet isn't bad tho Bathrooms could be cleaner and service was slooow. We maybe saw our waiter like 3 times? He only cleared our plates once and he never offered us water refills, which we had to actively flag him down for. It wasn't busy as it was a Monday and we were the only table in that seating area (lower level by the Mongolian grill)

I tried the fruit the watermelon and cantaloupe wasn't sweet, however, the honeydew was really yummy. They have a boba drink station I tried the passion tea it was good. My boyfriend tried their desserts he liked the three layer mouse cake. I wasn't aware the Restaurant in LA charge a 10% service fee when I saw it on the bill I immediately was going to question it however, I googled first and basically the restaurants have to post it before charging you. When we walked in we didn't notice the signs on the wall if you don't pay attention you will miss the notice as you walk in. The 10% is to help the owner offset gratuity and healthcare for the employees so you have no choice but to pay it even if you didn't see the posting on the wall. They also have a sign to say a tip is not required because of the service fee.

I decided to call to see if the restaurant would honor it. but there was no answer. Tried to call during actual AYCe hours. Still unable to get an answer. Operator suggested to leave a voice message for Miguel, the MANAGer. So I did =] After a few days, I received a call from Miguel. He was kind and friendly over the phone. He said he will honor it. He even helped me with the reservation. That call brightened my day. Finally Sat! Checked in and had to wait a bit before getting seated. I was happy that we got seated near the main seafood section. I wasn't expecting a lot, but I was hoping to be able to enjoy some of the seafoods this time. Huge improvement on the seafoods!! The whole steamed lobsters were not overcooked. It was yummy with the butter and lemon. The snow crab legs were in good size. Wasn't that salty. Was good with or without butter. King crab legs were ok. It was thin than the ones previously. However, it was edible this time. It wasn't super salty. Some were just pretty dry and the meats weren't as tasty as the king crab legs I normally eat from other places. The sashimi was fresh. For ayce, the quality was great. All the other items were good as well. Foods were no longer as salty as before. I felt like their chef was messing with the foods or something back then. Maybe new chefs? I hope things will stay consistent or improve even more in the future. The Thai tea without boba was good. It was way better than what I had in the morning. The tea was strong. I had 2 cups hehhe Service was good. They came by a few times and made sure things were going smoothly. The desserts were not the greatest. They need a new baker or get their cakes else where. I didn't see any baked lobsters. I really enjoyed the baked lobsters back in the days. Looking forward to return with the family. Thank you, Miguel!! Reg price for dinner was $139, but they had a promotion going on for $109 pp. With the bogo deal, our total came out to $166.15 instead of $275.15. They now have a facility charge and a no tipping policy. I prefer this over the standard with Cafe Sierra. I am ok with tipping, however, I have had servers that circled the percentage of tips they wanted and expected that amount to be given. The lady servers who did this were not present during the visit. Great! Sierra doesn't need these greedy servers.

They check you in on their computer system, then write your name & # of people on the ticket, they also wrote birthday on the tab because it's my son's birthday. We checked in 15 minutes before. They start calling groups at 5pm. We sat around 5:05pm and headed for the seafood section to the left. I'll only review what I ate.....so I stuck with crab legs (moist, slightly salty but just dip in butter or squeeze more lemon), lobster claws (perfect), BONE MARROW (DELISHHHHHHH!!!), whole lobsters (perfect), king crab legs (super salty), sushi (same as other restaurants), chocolate fondue (good), dessert mousse cups (coffee chocolate, strawberry mango, matcha green tea- these were all good and perfectly balanced), Dubai chocolate and other toppings in a cup (ask for vanilla ice cream cream with it because it's too sweet alone), churro filled with a cream was chewy (didn't have its original crunchy on the outside but it was still good, I'll add vanilla ice cream if I ever go back). Service: for the first 15 minutes we had Edwin? Eduardo?..an older gentleman who was Filipino. He was attentive... wish we had him the entire time but his coworker said "this is my table." That was that. In the 1hr and 43 minutes we were there, she checked on us 1x (meaning if we needed anything). She would do a drive-by to grab plates, we would try to squeeze in a "can we have an extra lobster claws cracker?" But other than that no- smile, no- hello, no- can I refill your drinks. We had to ask the bus-boy for things. We even flagged down the manager for the check and we walked to the front of the restaurant again for our check. We waited for a few minutes and our waitress didn't even know we all left the table, so the manager finally saw our server and pointed to us. Anyways food was good and customer service was not up to par for a buffet that cost more than Vegas. And FYI- they do charge a 15% establishment fee (this is not gratuity). BUT also, this is NO-tipping establishment. Totally up to you if you want to give anything. It says so on the receipt. My husband closed the tab, if it was me then I wouldn't have tipped her and would have given it to the busboy instead. I normally don't do reviews unless necessary to save people from paying $149. For those who LOVE lobsters... it's $109 until August 1st when booked online! Oh ALSO... two people got sung Happy Birthday, but my son did not... it clearly said "BDAY" on our tab. We came around 5pm, so we were quickly seated with only a handful of tables occupied. We ordered our drinks and made our way around the location to figure out what they had. They had ice cream and boba tea in the back corner, then came the dim sum options, hot foods, items for the grill, sushi, desserts with a chocolate fountain, and a mixture of cold items, such as fruits, seafood, and more desserts. Right away I got a plate of snow crabs and noticed the seafood boil the had shrimp and corn, so I got one of that as well the clams and some pieces of sushi. The crab legs were easy to open though I did have my husband request for crab cracker to help me with the harder pieces. I definitely preferred dipping the crab meat into the seafood boil sauce than the melted butter they had. The clams were pretty good as well, so I made sure to get a second round of them with the snow crabs. I did dabble in trying other foods, but preferred my seafood combo that I got. Once I had my fill with savory, I tackled the sweets and buffets are always fun to try new desserts but overall my fave was just good ol' pistachio almond ice cream with my milk tea. Overall, a good experience with both the restroom and dining area being clean. Staff was nice, but definitely need to catch their attention for refills and anything else you need that isn't taking away your used plates or the bill cause they were on my for those.

Parking is right next to the shop, you enter and grab a ticket and wait to get your number called. The entire staff is great and helpful, the store itself is always clean and organized. The salmon was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth good, the dynamite tuna brought just the right amount of spice and flavor, and the scallops were incredibly fresh, sweet, creamy, and tender. It's hard to pick a favorite when they're all this good! To balance out all the fresh seafood, we also ordered the fried onion rings and fried zucchini. Both came out perfectly golden and crispy, adding that satisfying crunch to the meal. What really stood out was that even after being fried, you could still taste the natural sweetness of the onions and zucchini. They weren't greasy at all--just light, crisp, and dangerously easy to keep snacking on. Between the quality of the seafood and the delicious sides, it's easy to see why Fish King has such a loyal following. Whether you're stopping by for poke, fresh fish, or just craving some seriously good seafood, this spot is always worth the trip. I'll definitely be back for more!
