The bunch of lunch is our go-to! I suggest getting there a little before noon because they do get super crowded but makes sense as to why. It's so good and soo worth every penny. They have multiple pizza options always cycling through and always filling the pasta and fried chicken religiously so it's fresh! Make sure to ask for hot sauce for the fried chicken. I'd say it's one of the best fried chicken options in Glendale. I do wish the salad bar had a mixed fruit option, would be a nice addition. They have everything from Mac and cheese to dessert pizza/pastry puffs. Can't wait to come again soon. About $26 for 2 people. read more

Today I had a good experience with Robyn and our the gentleman that picked up our plates. Robyn was so attentive and my 2year old loved the pizza his preference is cheese and she informed us when it was ready. Food tasted fresh and the vibe was friendly and great customer service from both. Robyn was very informative and we will come back. read more

Great place. I liked playing in the arcade and eating pizza afterwards and going back to the arcade and playing more. I like the music playing and the tvs showing sports. Would definitely like to visit again! read more

Their idea of a good pizza is "shakey" at best! It's not terrible, but damn is it bland as hell. Got the "mojo potatoes" which are also bland but at least they seemed cool unlike the pizza dough. This is the equivalent of an oven baked pizza your mom would get you when she's leaving town for the weekend and she doesn't want to order you Pizza Hut. This is my first time here and I really want to know what the consensus of this place is cause I think it's pretty yuk! read more

I hadn't been here in over 30 years. My daughter and I were visiting my mom who lives near by and was craving pizza. The place was hopping. Lots of people there, mostly for their all you can eat buffet. The staff was friendly. We decided to try the buffet. I don't feel we ate enough for the price since we couldn't take left overs home so make sure you know you will make it worth the $10.99 per person price. The buffet was kept stocked and the pizza, chicken and mojos were good. The place was kept clean but was extremely loud. They do have a kids mini game area which is nice. read more

I love this Shakey's have been coming here for years! I had to leave a review because Robin the lady upfront had excellent customer service towards me and my friends as soon as we stepped thorough the door! I went to this Shakeys location today... the parking was okay for LA not the biggest lot, but places to park to go into restaurant. The black gentlemen up front was very talkative and had patients to help all the customers. The time I came in it was busy around 6p.m-7p.m. Did Shakeys increase their prices? For a medium pizza, pitcher of corona, and soda it came out to $40 dollars. Sheeeesh.... Shakeys is good, but pricey. The pizza was good and had t.v.'s on everywhere with an arcade room with prizes for the kids. read more

This Shakeys is outstanding! We ordered thru an app. for DELIVERY$$$ pan pizza pepperoni and pineapple it was FANTASTIC! I knew when the driver handed it to me it was heavy and it just got better after that :) best pizza we've had in a very long time. We took a chance and tried this location and it was worth it! A-OK! Yes it's not foodie central, Up in coming, Exotic or organic BUT ITS OLD SCHOOL COMFORT. The pizza has a buttery crust and is soft. The sauce has a unique flavor as well. The chicken although oily was crispy and juicy, plus the skin tasted pretty good. The mojos were awesome as usual. Tasted just as yummy 20 years ago. Now what I appreciate about this place is that it's super family friendly. There should be more restaurants like this. It's affordable, first of all, and offers some pretty good family deals for 4 people, 6 people, and 8 people. For $50 (8 peeps) you get two large one topping pizzas, 8 pieces of fried chicken or 10 chicken tenders, and 2 large orders of mojos. Plus they have the play area for kids/adults to play. So you eat, drink, and play all in one!! Yeah it's not amazing, but I appreciate what they offer and it gets the job done :) read more

3 stars for the pizza 3.5 for the chicken and mojos 4 stars for the service Our family has been going to this location for decades and the staff already knows our crew likes extra mushrooms so they already add it in without having to ask. Roberto is especially helpful and makes sure we have all the basics so we can grub on some unhealthy, salty and tasty comfort food. Come here in the off hours so you don't have to wait so long for a table. Weekends are busy. The restaurant is fairly clean and tables are well stocked with napkins, ketchup and Parmesan. Have a pitcher of beer with your PCM. They have Newcastle, Bud, Bud light, MGD, Heineken, and Shock Top Belgian White on tap. read more

Depending on what flavors you want, they will charge $6.00 for each flavor you build your own. I wanted half Hawaiian and half Vegetarian. Custom Medium would have cost me $31+ rather than $23+ for Medium Hawaiian Style only. I ended up with the latter and also got a regular Vodka Sauce Pasta. Total bill came to $38 including tax + tip. I enjoyed the pizza very much. Crust was thin. Sauce was tasty. Plenty of ingredients on pizza. Square cuts versus slice cuts. As for the Vodka Sauce Pasta, it didn't taste the same as before. This time it tasted bland as if it had plain marinara sauce only. Slightly disppointed about that, hence, 4 stars! I don't know when I'll be back to La Canada Flintridge as I'm usually not in the area frequently. When I do visit again, I'll have to try their other pizza flavors and pasta plus chicken wings. There was spaghetti, mojo's, two kinds of chicken, brocolli and carrots, mash potatoe, and all kinds of things like salad and pizza! This was the best place ever. I went there just 5 mintues ago on the day of today or 6/13/14 I love it! I would go here again for my entire life! Usually I plan myself going there everyday! 5 weeks ago I came to stop by not to eat but give them over 30$ tips for free! Since I love Shakey's there and I live 1 block away, everyday I walk there to eat and give them 47$ bucks and asking NO change. The best expirence I had. Usually I never review places, but this one was the best so I did it! Also Bella Nails and Spa is next by! You should go there their amazing 20$ Mani. Pedi. during the Summer! They have a summer special, and Gel. Mani. Pedi. is just 30$! This was the best one ever! Infinity Stars! And they gave me coupon discount just at $6.99! They have the best food ever! They ultimately loose one star because I was emailed a coupon for $4 off a large pizza. When I went to use it, the girl at the cashier only gave me $2 off. I have been here since I was 7 and I'm still going here surprisingly with my boyfriend every single week. We had our first date here and it was awkward but in a a sort of good awkward. However the buffet is AMAZING! My mom's friend works here and she gave us coupons for the buffet! My favorite food there must be the spaghetti because it is BOMB! I think the gravy should improve a bit more because it is the texture is very liquidly but still tasty. The fried chicken is also super delicious ( better than KFC ). I love that Shakey's has beer and wine(and an arcade) mix that with some thin crust goodness and I'm 13 again(don't tell Mom) The Mojo potatoes are great.
