From the moment we stepped onto their fully enclosed, heated porch, the vibes were immaculate: cozy, warm, and super dog friendly all year long. Brie & Cocoa were living their best lives with complimentary bacon and their own water bowl. We dove into a lineup of favorites: * Brie & Drunken Nuts * Famous Wrinkled Green Beans * Island Crab Balls Every bite was a hit, and the service made the whole night feel effortless. Their full bar kept the good times flowing with delicious cocktails and a great list of crushes to choose from. If you are heading to OCMD, Longboard Cafe is a must‑visit, the perfect mix of great food, great people, and great energy.

But I wish we had time to go in though because the place looks really nice. Every dish was incredibly fresh and flavorful and plentiful! I am not a local but if I was, I'd be here all the time. We started with a tasting board and chose three cheeses and three meats. It comes with a ton of additional accoutrements. It's a little expensive but worth it to try some fantastic cheese. I had the Cacio e pepe with scallops that was on special. I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. For dessert we did a giant doughnut ice cream sandwich which was the star of the show. Paired with an espresso martini and I was extremely happy to finish off dinner! The service was great, food came out quickly.

It's a refreshing change from the typical boardwalk dining experience. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops, rich and flavorful oysters Rockefeller, and a well-prepared steak that was cooked exactly as ordered. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.

This is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the bay, perfect for a romantic dinner or celebration. We shared the Beet salad which was nicely brought to us on two plates and was quite fillings. The Smoked Cheddar Pierogis with sauerkraut and fried apples was delicious, not heavy or smoky. My husband had the Petit Filet mignon then a creme brulee for dessert which was small, thin, light, and wonderfully creamy. It came topped with strawberries. The indoor dining area is elegant, comfortable and romantic. You can watch the sunset but at the table by the windows, you may be a bit blinded by the sun until it sets and it got rather warm in the sun. It was worth it - watching the birds fly into the marsh and hop around. Previously, we have also sat outside on the small balcony at the high two person tables and high chairs. There is a better view of the bay from inside the restaurant since the restaurant and apartment building does not block the view on the sides. Savannah our waitress, was friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Perfectly refreshing, bright, and exactly what you want on a beach‑town evening. We shared the pretzel with crab cheese dip, and that was phenomenal -- warm, soft, and paired with a rich, flavorful crab dip that tasted fresh and indulgent without being heavy. For my meal, the crab cake was very good, full of flavor and nicely done. My Caesar salad was crisp and well‑dressed, and the fresh‑cut fries were perfect -- exactly what you'd hope for from classic boardwalk‑style fries, just served in a restaurant setting. Hot, salty, and addictive. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed coastal vibe, Tailchasers absolutely delivered for us. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was standing around just gossiping. We sat at the table inside and waited about 15 mins to get a server. I realize this is pretty normal here in OCMD, but there were a lot of people standing around and a handful of people eating. The server was a nice guy. He wasn't one of the folks standing around. We were hopeful. Drinks were watered down. They were supposed to be frozen. We ordered brisket Putíne. Absolutely flavorless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it edible. Even my teens didn't like it. I personally had the shrimp tacos. They fell apart, and were inconsistent in prep. One had 2 shrimps, the other had 4. One had sauce, the other did not. The taco was falling apart after the 3rd bite. Very unpleasant to eat. The oysters we ordered had tons of shell pieces in it. Again, down to the preparation. My husband had the lobster roll. It was actually good, but the portions of lobster were a joke. We went to the crab factory down the road a week ago and the value, bread and amount of lobster was a better value with equal taste. Overall, this seems like a tourist location and very hit or miss. Our experience was definitely miss for the price.

I'll give the restaurant a 4 star review for the sauces and food combinations. The fish and pork chops were an excellent choice for my guests. Unfortunately I ordered the flank steak, medium rare. I didn't send it back which would have ruined the mood of the dinner, but the pork chop took 25 minutes to prepare. The flank steak came out luke warm and was not at all tender. It would have been better medium or medium well as it was a bit rubbery. The server should have warned me when she indicated to my guest that she preferred the pork chop. She was a bit abrupt and talked too fast. The Parker house rolls were a bit dry, not warm and tough. I'm from Baltimore and Parker house rolls are should be warm, soft with a lovely aroma and melt in your mouth. The honey butter helped but not enough. We ordered the strawberry short cake for dessert. The presentation was lovely and the strawberries fresh and sweet, but the short cake was dry. I assume it was awarded the James Beard for the sauces and creative combinations, which admittedly were wonderful, but there are some simple things the chef needs to consult his grandmother on how to prepare.
