Usually Just the basic red, green sauce, and limes if I do see a small space for salsa, but primo has more the chips are already bagged and you can grab more chips and salsa cups. Plenty of napkins, salsa cups and forks if need be too. The only downside is the salsa cups are so tiny. the cup size looks like something your dentist use to clean your teeth . Not a big deal breaker for me, but still would nice if we can get a bit more salsa and a bigger cup to hold. The location is alright and I do see people come and go, still this place has a lot of potential but it's hard to beat Mcdonald's or just take the street car further up turnpike if you want something in your taste. Am glad they still have some good horchatas and churros here too, I can't eat Burritos right if I don't have my L horchata and churro later on. Another thing I notice is they don't give plastic bags even if you order 3 burritos, but luckily I had brought my own. If your in the bayview, around keith try this place out and definitely grab some salsa /chips too.

While I was tempted to try one of each, I was on a mission during this visit to try the black sesame kouign amann. When I placed my order at the counter, I was served a fresh-from-the oven kouign amann - this rarely happens! I couldn't resist trying a piece as I left the bakery, and it was indeed exquisite. The black sesame kouign amann from B. Patisserie is my gold standard, and Juniper's version is a close contender. While the black sesame flavor is much lighter and the texture fluffier than the B. Patisserie version, I liked the abundance of the crispy edges (as well as the year-round availability). I will certainly be back to try more of Juniper's pastries.

We got two slices about a week apart; there was barely any crust on the bottom of the first slice (and it was soggy), and the second slice had a thicker layer of crust that was baked better. I think the ratio of crust to filling is a bit off, i.e. I'd prefer slightly thicker crust to balance out the custard-y filling. We also had a butter pecan slice and neither of us really enjoyed that one. Similar issue with crust to filling ratio: crust was paper thin on the bottom, so it just felt like you were straight up eating sticky goo. Filling was way too sweet for our preference also. The slices are pretty pricey at $8/slice and aren't particularly large; a whole pie is an eye-watering $50, which is expensive even for the Bay. All that said, there aren't many good pie places in SF so Three Babes stands out in that sense and is a nice way to treat yourself after a hard week.

I do think the berry fillings are a bit gummy. I prefer the apple pie filling with larger fruit chunks but overall all the pies are good and I could see myself coming back to make a whole pie for a holiday celebration! The chocolate chip cookies are nicely chewy and dense with sea salt on top. There's a generous amount of chocolate throughout and it definitely satisfied my chocolate cravings.
