i've been here a couple times and have always had a positive experience. i love coming here because it's one of the only late-night dessert spots that does not require going into touristy parts of sf. because of that, parking and long lines have never been an issue the bingsu here is good! sweeter than other places imo but the flavors are good. i also actually did not think the food was that bad either (though i didn't have super high expectations for a dessert spot). i can't speak on their dim sum tho because ive never had. but for a late-night, casual hang out with friends, i love this spot for the location + dessert + food options available if you're hungry. only negative i have to say is the lighting in here is super white and harsh, evidenced by most of the photos posted on here lol read more

Dropped by this local eatery on a Sunday evening as our second choice since the first one did not work out. A small eatery with Korean and Chinese food as well as a big selection of desserts plus dim sum too. We ordered the following: Popcorn chicken $9.99 (Best Seller) - A little dry but nice with the sauce and had lots of diced garlic. Beef chow fun $18.99 (Best Seller) - Quite a substantial dish and great for sharing. Fried sesame balls x 6 $6.99- This was in the appetizer section which I thought was savory. We've been super excited to try this spot and finally went few nights ago. Bingsu + heat wave sounds like a great combo and a greater way to cool off! The shop was super packed with customers and they also do to go bingsu orders. Here's my impression on food, services, and vibes Food: out of five. We ordered matcha bingsu with side of fried buns and condense milk. Flavors profile of bingsu is fine and the bingsu is fluffy and light. The fried buns were such a let down though since the dough in the middle was still raw. I wish we got them sooner so we can remedy by asking for a new one. Of note, they do have entrees like beef chow fun there too. The entrees feel more like casual cafe food than serious Chinese restaurant food. The table next to us ordered wonton soup which looks a bit watered down. Services: maybe they're too busy but it was a bit difficult to get the order started. There was a young waiter, Jayden who runs all around the place to take care of customers and handle everything. There's also an older auntie who is the back up but she doesn't seem to quite know which orders go where. We waited at least 20 minutes for the bingsu to come and we waited additional 35 minutes for the fried buns to come. I've been wanting to try this place out cuz my fam loves bingsu. Parking was fairly easy, but possible that we just got lucky. There is street parking, but also a paid parking lot close by. Thankfully, the bingsu did not disappoint and we will be coming back. There is even dim sum and other meal dishes that looked good, so looking forward to trying that too. There are a lot of pictures of what items on the menu look like on the walls and it's great advertising. The interior is small, but you can get a group of 6 if you don't mind huddling together. There was only one server when we came so be patient. The dude is hustling! The lychee bingsu was delicious. It had a lot of actual lychee, a huge dollop of whipped cream and the condensed milk on the side was addicting! Would definitely recommend. We tried to come here for their bingsu whenever we were in town because it's one of the few places that offers a huge variation of bingsu. Tonight the place was less crowded, especially because it's been raining a lot but we will be on our way out of SF so we wanted to stop by. This place has been on my list for a while, and I finally got the chance to try it! We came in around 8 pm on a Saturday and were seated right away. The restaurant is pretty small, so the tables feel a bit close together, but it makes sense, they're definitely making the most of the space. We ordered several dishes: Mongolian beef, wonton noodle soup, honey walnut prawns, shrimp fried rice, and sweet & sour fish. Everything was tasty, but the favorites were the honey walnut prawns and the fish fillet. Finally made it out to Snow Bliss with some friends on a warm Sunday afternoon in January, pretty empty which was great since we came with a baby in a stroller. (At other times, I had seen the cafe packed with high schoolers and adults with some waiting outside.) Everyone's favorite was the black sesame bingsu: the flavor was refreshing, and the shaved ice and cream were the perfect sweetness once mixed together. Get your coats ready, because Snow Bliss is the longest blizzard you'll ever experience -- and not in a good way. Snow Bliss is located in an area with semi-available parking, which makes it somewhat easy to access so you're not trekking through the Arctic tundra just to get a dessert. Upon arrival, I was surprised to discover that Snow Bliss is actually inside a restaurant that specializes in Chinese stir-fry dishes. Interesting combo -- snow and sizzling woks. When we got there, the place was packed to the igloo. I thought we'd be left freezing outside, but thankfully the staff managed to separate a table so we could sit down right away. We were given water and menus immediately, which was a good start -- but that's where the warm feelings ended. As we "skated" through the menu, we figured out what we wanted within five minutes. Then... nothing. We sat there freezing our heads off as the servers shuffled back and forth like confused penguins, each only doing one tiny task at a time. I eventually raised my hand to get someone's attention -- they saw me, acknowledged me, and still took so long that my arm froze in place. I nearly had to thaw it in the stir-fry station. I don't know who trained them to serve like this, but here's a free tip from a former server: if you have trouble remembering orders, bring a notepad. It's not that deep. Watching them bounce around aimlessly was like watching a live-action screensaver -- except slower. After what felt like the end of the first Ice Age, we finally got to order our mango bingsu. To my surprise, it actually came out fast. Hope glimmered like the sun breaking through the storm clouds... until we tasted it. The mango ice cream on top tasted like artificial disappointment, and the shaved ice had zero cream, zero flavor -- just pure frozen sadness. The texture? Chunky. Like someone shaved it with a butter knife. The only redeeming part was the fresh mango, which honestly carried the entire dessert on its tropical back. Then came the final betrayal: strawberries at the bottom of the bingsu. Strawberries. At that point, I lost all remaining respect for this operation.
