The reason my review is only 2 star is because I asked for anc/ dip powder manicure and they had very few colors (all reds and purples), so the tech suggested I do a combination of powder and gel color on top ... I did not like this idea and verbalized my lack of enthusiasm and said the gel does not last as long and I need it to last like powder. My tech ASSURED me they would last like powder. Well... they put the white powder in one layer and a couple layers of the glue and then proceeded to file this all down (and virtually completely away) then did normal gel UV on top of this. It has been 24 hours now since I left the salon, I have full thickness cracks in 2 nails on my left hand, a chip off of the color on my right thumb and pointer finger and my right middle finger nail has completely broken off. And the cost of JUST this manicure was $58.49!!!! SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than powder manicures elsewhere. Powder manicures done correctly elsewhere normally last 3-4 weeks for me without ANY cracks or chips. I'm very unhappy and will NOT be going back here for powder manicures.

A regular pedi and gel mani takes 1hr or 1hr 15 min max. Perfect for a working mom who can't be spending hours at the nail salon. And my gel manicures have always lasted at least 3-4 weeks. I've never made an appointment and just walk-in with no issues - although I tend to go when they just open/early mornings. And no specific person because every single one is incredibly capable. Have done chrome, cat eye, ombré, French, etc. - they're able to do it all.

I had a flight to Italy the next day. I called to and from nails to see if they could potentially help me out. My nails were very thin and in so much pain. Unfortunately, they were completely booked up and cannot help me that same day, however, the manager told me to send in pictures of my nails to see what happened. Again, my nails were paper thin and you can see it in the photo. I received an email saying that they could try to squeeze me in the next day. Again, not to be dramatic, but it literally felt like my life was ending. The manager took time out of her own shift and help me with my nails. Although they couldn't do a complete removal (my nails were so brittle any type of shaving would cause more damage). I was treated with the utmost care. They did everything they could and save my nails. Honestly, so thankful for their time and generosity. I got to keep my nails for the trip to Italy and that made me really happy. Although I am from Houston the next time I am in Connecticut I will 100% be coming back to get the full experience.

I came in with my daughters (4 and 7 years old) and 2 nieces for a girls day out. They were charged full adult price ($70 plus each) for their mani and pedis, unlike before when Sarah would give kids special pricing under $40. Their services were rushed and not as good as before. Definitely less courteous and much more rushed. I also got a spa pedicure, and while drying my nails at the end the male nail tech gave me a massage. I asked if it was included and he nodded yes. However, when it came time to pay the bill the new owner had the audacity to charge me extra for it. After arguing with her over this dishonest and misleading sales practice they took it off the bill. I also had a small gift certificate from 6 months prior and the new owner laughed at me saying it was old and couldn't be used. I let her know Sarah gave it to me to use anytime for up to a year and she scoffed. The new owner is condescending and lacks courtesy and professionalism needed to retain her neighborhood clients. I was absolutely disgusted with their customer service and will never come back. Now that she's gone, TAKE SARAH's NAME OFF THE BUSINESS SIGN! Stop misleading and be more upfront and honest with your clients.
