Sharetea is finally in Fountain Valley! Don't let the long lines deceive you, the staff here move the line very quick and efficiently! I stopped by during a lunch rush and despite the long line, the cashier was extremely patient and even offered some of her own recommendations. Spoiler alert, the classic milk tea with boba is what you want. The parking here is a little competitive but for Sharetea's milk tea, its worth the wait! This is probably my favorite boba shop! It is always crowded when I come here no matter what time of day it is! There's so many different drinks. I love how you can adjust the sweetness and ice levels. Their drinks are super sweet, so I always have to adjust the sugar level. I tried so many drinks here, but lately my #1 is the mango green milk tea w/ 50% sugar & less ice. I have tried the Hawaiia fruit tea w/ 30% sugar & less ice , wintermelon fresh milk w/ 50% sugar & less ice, taro smoothie, happy qq milk tea, and honey lemon with aloe Vera w/ 80% sugar & less ice. 5/5 for the drink but 1/5 for service Went to ShareTea on a Sunday evening after dinner for a sweet treat. Both my sister and I ordered Mango Passionfruit Green Teas with boba, and were pleased with the drink itself as usual. Unfortunately, our most recent trip was less than satisfactory. It took over 15 minutes to even place my order, and after doing so, I had to wait another 25+ minutes for the two drinks. Mind you, there were only 4 people in front of me in line.. What?! I could have gone to another boba shop, come back, and still would have been waiting. I'm usually very patient when it comes to long lines, but this was pretty ridiculous. I would have left if it were not for the fact that I already placed my order and payed. Nobody ever even apologized or acknowledged the fact that the wait for 2 drinks was so long. Buons... Came by for a quick boba run during my lunch break. Roomy location with a lot of seating from first glance. Cute set up and decorations, and the drinks are made right in front of you! Asked for recommendations and the cashier was very kind enough to explain some of the drink options. For example some options come with boba but you can opt it out and the drink is still filled to the top. However, there were workers sorta in the back that looked at the cashier in a weird/skeptical way, as if she was telling us the wrong thing. Which is kind of why I docked a star off because it gave off an uncomfortable vibe. Maybe she's a new worker, but I thought she was doing a great job, and I wish I got her name! Ordered a couple drinks for my coworkers and I, and they came out within 3-5 minutes! The hokkaido pearl milk tea, which is my go to drink across boba places to set the standard tasted like the other locations (this time I opted out the boba). I personally do not like the hokkaido milk at Sharetea because I feel that the flavor is missing something, BUT I would still recommend this drink as a first try! Outstanding or horrific, I won't waste our time reviewing average. This past weekend I was out with my better 1/3, the homie J and V. We were in the mood for some boba and they said they knew exactly the spot to go to. They had their social distancing switchbacks set up, so we were good to go. My better 1/3 chose their Classic Green Milk Tea with Boba, 1/2 sweet. I got the Mango Ice Blended with Ice Cream and Boba. Both were really good. Their boba is really good, soft but gets more firm as it cools. Just how we like it. Her's was good, but I have to admit mine was better! Ha! If you like fruity smoothies, the Mango Ice Blended with Ice Cream is a winner. Sharetea has to be one of my favorites and I was happy to find out they have a few locations local to me. There are plenty of "good" boba spots, but Sharetea seems to be just a higher up on the chain for my taste. I will definitely be back soon. Probably today if things go as planned. This place is great! Line is long but once you order you get your drinks really quickly. I got the mango passion fruit with boba at 50% sweet and it was still on the sweet side. I love how the Business Manager is trying to compare going to a steakhouse and grinding up the meat to make a burger vs. putting in some juices, ice and mix it in a blender. Let's be real here, taking a whole piece of meat and making it to a burger requires more effort and time. You say you have the ingredients. You have two types of drinks that have separate flavors, one of each I would have liked combined. Your name is Sharetea! Share the ingredients together. I didn't asked for something farfetched like a McFlurry or something you totally do not have. Have you ever gone to a bar and perhaps ask for a drink you saw somewhere else or read up on and ask them to make it? Most bartenders will attempt to make it, as long as they have the ingredients. Or have you ever gone out to eat somewhere and ask for a substitute? Or cooked something at home and didn't completely follow the recipe? Looking at his response is a DEFINITE reflection and proof of the complete lack of customer service. If you don't want to make it, fine. Cool. No problem. I walked out. I didn't make a scene. It's the attitude that came with the response that I had an issue with. So instead of telling me to think outside of the box and go to Starbucks (they DO make a good blended Starwbery Lemonade. And yes, I did think, I went somewhere else), maybe you should check your attitude. A manager who can't take criticism without lashing out should not be a manager. And hey, you say everything is carefully curated and tested and you won't ever make anything else that is not on the menu. So my previous review is telling the truth. Large free parking lot. The share tea workers were very professional and kind. I placed my order and had my drinks ready in about 5-10 min. The order was correct for all 4 drinks. FYI the 100% sweetness is about 75% sweetness when compared to other drink shops in the LA area, which is fine. I should probably cut down on my sugar intake anyway! read more

One of my favorite new boba joints! I stick to my usual favorites here: fresh milk tea, okinawa milk tea and hokkaido milk tea. They all come with boba in a large cup (one size). I like the 100% sweetness level but for others it may be a bit on a sweeter side. They make the drinks quite fast and the staff is always super friendly. Never have they failed to greet you even if they are busy (kind of like Tastea). Good quality for sure. They're located in the same plaza as Alberstons and Starbucks so there are plenty of parking spaces. If you absolutely must park in the area right outside of the store then you are in tight competition with the Poke and Starbucks people. If you don't mind a quick walk then there are tons of parking spaces within the plaza. Quick service, great drinks, friendly staff, decent price and accessible parking = easily 5 stars! read more

One of the better tea places out there with a similar concept to Ding Tea or Gongcha where you can control the ice portion or sweetness of each drink. Love their hokkaido and tapioca. There was a wait when we went, but it didn't take long at all to receive our drinks after ordering. Minus 1 star because the layout of the store is pretty inefficient. One of the better Sharetea franchises that's currently open. What sets this place apart from the other locations is the baristas' meticulous attention to detail that's on display when making your drinks. Another pleasant surprise is they actually listen when you request less ice in your drinks, and they don't water down your drink if you make this request. My favorite drinks are the oolong milk tea at 50% sweetness with boba and the wintermelon with lemon juice and aiyu jelly. Unlike the other drinks, the wintermelon's sweetness is preset as a result of the cooking process and thus can't be adjusted. In my opinion, the oolong at 50% sweetness is the perfect level. This allows the inherent roasted, robust and fragant oolong flavor to come to the forefront of your palate. The addition of the milk helps balance out the harshness of the tea and provides a natural sweetness to the drink. The boba is slightly undercooked here; while it's soft on the outside and chewy almost entirely throughout, there is a noticeable hardness and clumpy texture at the center. The wintermelon is made perfectly here. The flavor isn't overwhelming or watered down. It pairs perfectly with the fresh lemon juice that's added. A thin slice of lemon is included in the drink as well. The acidity and tartness of the lemon is a splendid foil to the wintermelon. The aiyu jelly provides a gentle sweetness and subtle lemon flavor to the drink. Overall, the drink is extremely refreshing and all the flavors are harmoniously balanced. The interior is clean, open and bright. Decorations are sparse, but there is plenty of seating available. It could be a decent place to study if you don't mind the louder than average noise. As with all other Sharetea locations, stamp cards are available upon request, but they're location specific and expire 3 months from the date of issuance. read more

Oh no, not sure if it's good news or bad news that another tea spot opened near my work. I have a milk tea addiction. It's happy sipping from here! Sharetea is located in between Starbucks and Project Poke. I came here during their soft opening and was already impressed. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The young lady at the front counter was so helpful. She offered me a sample of the oolong milk tea. It was quite refreshing and good! I even ordered it for my first taste test. I have to say that my tea love still belongs to my number one spot. But, Sharetea made it to my top 3. The tea tastes freshly brewed and not powder form. Your drink can be customized to your liking--adjust the sweetness and ice level. I generally like my tea with normal sweet and half ice level. The classic oolong milk tea with egg pudding was awesome. I also tried the matcha red bean milk tea. This one could use a flavor boost. A bit bland with no matcha taste. I'll pass! I'd stick to the classic milk tea creations. I would give them another try. Hope they have a stamp card by now..I'm a frequent tea drinker! read more

One of my favorite boba chains! Their tea quality and products taste very fresh. I took away one star because I noticed that my drinks are still very sweet whenever I ask for less sweet or half sweet -- I wonder why that is, maybe the set amount in their fructose machine? It's okay though, the drinks are great regardless! I frequent this place quite a lot and have tried many different drinks, but my go-to drink is their Mango Green Tea! Stopped by after I was getting my hair cut nearby. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally got the chance to. Their menu was pretty self-explanatory. The drinks are categorized by milk teas, flavored teas, etc. They also have a top 10 list which is good for first timers. I got the wintermelon tea and I got Hawaiian fruit tea for my bf. Each drink cost around $3.50-$4.75. They only have 1 size for the drinks, which is awesome so I don't have to decide. It's a pretty decent sized drink as well. The wintermelon was on the sweeter side, so the cashier suggested getting 80% sweetness. And the Hawaiian fruit tea was the full 100% sweetness level. The wintermelon was ok, it tasted like all the other wintermelon drinks I have had. And the Hawaiian fruit tea was very interesting...I couldn't exactly taste out what the flavor was...it was a couple fruits mixed together. It was good, but it made me question what I was drinking every time I took a sip. They have plenty of seating indoors so it's a good place to chill. I've been hearing about this place, but have never got a chance to try till recently! I decided to try to Hokkaido Pearl Milk tea, which actually does have a toffee flavor. It was very good because other Hokkaido Milk teas I have tried does not have that strong of a caramel/toffee flavor. I Will definitely be back to try more drinks!! This place is always packed now! I ordered a strawberry Slush with Ice Cream and I wanted it to be 50% sweet but the cashier kindly told me how they recommend it to be 80% so you can still taste the strawberry. I let it be and it was pretty delicious. I was able to taste the strawberry. It's an interesting drink because it's two different types of cold things put together but it was a good combo. Okay, now time to really update this review. I have been here a few times now. And each time I come is nothing but excellent customer service which continues to bring me back. And plus the drinks is really really good! I usually get the mango green tea half sweet with aloe. The drink is consistent and workers here always check up on the customer making sure that our drinks are properly adjusted to our liking. I got drinks for my friends as well and nothing but love for this place. I rarely come to Sharetea due to how far is was and the one off Bristol gave me a bad experience so I never came back. At first I was hesitant to come here but I am glad that I did. Inside is spacious and very clean. Ive only been here during the day so I can't say how it is at night. Parking was easy to find but sometimes it can be hard to find with so many businesses around here. I had a chance to talk to the owner and manager here. This location has been sold and renamed so many times. There are so many boba shops in OC that when a new one pops up I'm unsure if it's going to be any good. Since this place is new and is all the hype right now I will visit again once the crowded settles down. I visited Sharetea on a Sunday afternoon while I was waiting to be called at Brodard. When I came in there was already a line forming. The interior decoration was cute. Everything looks really clean. There were a few chairs and tables available, but probably not a good place for large groups; it's a little small inside. The noise level was a bit high, so depending on your preference, it might or might not be a good place to study. I ordered the Taro Pearl Milk Tea for $4.25. The price was decent for the amount you got. It was a nice taro flavor and the boba was a perfect chewy texture; not too soft and not to hard. The boba was sweet and yummy, but after awhile the boba balls started to get a little hard because of the ice. Their cups are unique looking; it's tall and skinny instead of the normal boba cups. Overall, I liked my drink and would come back again, once it's not as busy. Also, they have stamp cards! But there's and expiration date on the card...why? I'm happy there's a location closer to me now. I've been to the on in Costa Mesa a few times when I was in the area but now I can come to this location! I ordered the Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea (roasted brown sugar flavor) with 80% sweetness. They don't recommend anything lower than that or you won't taste the flavor. I still thought it was too sweet but I did like the flavor. It also comes with boba! I thought their boba could have been a little softer, it was a bit too chewy for my liking. I've also tried their Fresh Milk Tea with Black tea with Herb Jelly, 50% sweetness, which I wasn't a fan of. I couldn't really taste the tea flavor. It was way more milky than I would have liked. Their Herb Jelly is slightly sweet and had a really smooth & soft texture which was good. I think I prefer this over their boba. Overall, my milk tea craving was satisfied. After taking long trips to the one near SCP, there is finally a closer location nearby my house, yay! Honestly, I was super excited when I found out a location is opening here. This plaza always keep changing and I know Sharetea is staying. With so many variety and friendly employees, it's no wonder they're a hit! Compared to the one in SCP, there are more tables and chairs here which I like due to crowds. I usually go for the QQ happy family milk tea because I like the best of everything. Customer service is on point! The cashier (Vienna I believe) was very accommodating and when the drink was done, a girl (Angela) made sure the sweetness level was what I wanted. Thanks ladies!
