I dont understand the good reviews here. The Thai tea is so bad. It literally screams CREAMER and I can barely taste any tea. Many chunk of creamer is still in the bottom and the drink is overly sweet. Their tea is definitely water down. I got a strawberry tea at a different location and it was way better. This location just make everything taste like sugar water. What a waste of money. Also they dont have options for no boba for some of the drinks. Which doesn't make sense. Go somewhere else for real tea unless you only want milk and sugar in your drink I usually do 100% everywhere but this feel like the employee put extra sugar because they dont remember if they add it in yet. read more

After a long day of touring the Hammer, my kind friend and I were pretty parched and in need of something sweet to quench that thirst. We walked around for a bit and decided to get a Strawberry Matcha from this establishment. Just by the look of it, it seemed to be a very tasty, sweet, and refreshing beverage. Alas, we were wrong. After I received my order, I took a sip. My expectations for it were high, but that sip quickly changed my mind. The matcha was bitter and had an almost burnt taste to it. I advised my friend about it and she got scared as well. When her order came to completion, she took a sip and was PETRIFIED!!!! My son is always on the lookout for the next refreshing drink, and we ended up here because we're spending the Fourth of July on the Westside. The staff was patient with our decisions and explained the various options to us (amount of ice, degree of sweetness, toppings, etc). I loved my peach kiwi oolong tea with aiyu. Mine had only 30% sweetness, but it allowed the pure fragrance of the tea leaves to come through better if it were sweeter. The refreshing fruitiness with actual pieces of fruit complement well with the tea, and the aiyu jelly also has its own contribution without overpowering the light taste of the tea and fruits. My son ordered the milk tea with a scoop of ice cream on top, and by looking at the smile on his face, I knew it was a hit too. He intentionally waited for the ice cream to melt so the flavor could blend in with the drink more evenly, and he was still happily slurping away nearly an hour after we got our drinks. read more

Sharetea on Broxton in the Westwood Village in Los Angeles is a 'Hot and New' tea shop. After having my Porsche for a quick service, I popped here and had to see this new shop. Bubble, Boba teas are currently the rage and the non alcoholic 'it' drink. It was my first time here and first time trying the taro tea. The shop was clean, and not crowded when I was there. Enough seating inside and a few outside. The menu is your standard milk tea, herbal teas, with optional add ons and intensity of sweetness and coldness in terms of content of sugar and ice. Behind the counter S was patient and helpful and even let my try some toppings: the dark and light jellies add on. Which were yummy, she suggested I add the dark jelly with the boba to my Taro tea and I Liked it! K prepared my tea and she was efficient and neat, she made sure to wipe the exterior of the cup and was pleasant. Fortunately, it was not crowded and I even snagged a metered parking spot across the street. Usually don't write a review until I've tried something a few times, but I was impressed with the great service, the shop's cleanliness and yummy tea. Comparatively speaking, a similar tea with same options, would be double the price at Wushiland, the bubble tea shop competitor in Century City. This review is based delivery of the drinks only. So we ordered the Taro milk tea boba with 50% sugar. Also we ordered a regular milk tea boba also at 50% sugar. The boba itself is so soft and flavorful. It's not too sweet either. The milk tea just tasted like regular milk tea you can get from anywhere. It was good, but nothing special. The taro was WOW. I never ever get taro, but my husband always does. And I always taste it from him and never really like it. But this one was soooo good. And 50% sweetness was still really sweet. We always come back to Sharetea despite all the other bobas in the area because 1) who can compete with how delicious the set menu is here and 2) no other place opens this late on a weekday locally. We have our favorites at each of the boba places on the west side but this place is one of the few that we know of that have HERBAL JELLY options and ICE CREAM BLEND options. So yes, we highly recommend coming here if you want delicious grass jelly as a topping. You wouldn't imagine how hard it is to find a good shop with grass jelly on the west side until the craving hits. Percolate, Yifang, TeaMug, Etc, all don't carry it surprisingly so we come here when we want it! read more

I thought my life was over when I found out I was allergic to milk but I learned that ShareTea uses non-dairy creamer in their milk tea!* (ShareTea staff, please correct me if I'm wrong.) *Obviously, use your judgment on whether you want to drink here because there's still dairy ingredients here. I am a big fan of taro so that's my go-to drink. I ask for less ice, 80% sugar (in an attempt to be healthy), and it always comes out great each time. Customer service is great. If I'm not walking here and I drove, I park in the Broxton parking garage (2 free hours if you arrive before 5pm in the structure). The only bad thing about ShareTea is that it's so popular and sometimes during busy/peak periods, you have to wait a LONG TIME. So I recommend ordering in advance whenever you can. read more

Came here for their grand opening BOGO 50%. I got the Hokkaido milk tea with pearls, less ice. The drink was okay, the tea wasn't very strong, and it wasn't particularly milky either. My drink was definitely overpowered by the caramel toffee flavor. I did get to try a few other drinks and I think next time I would go for the classic milk tea or QQ milk tea... BUT I'll have to play around with the sweetness level for each type of tea since it's not very consistent. The boba was chewy, not too sweet. First time coming to any Share Tea location (5/12/20)and I would say this place is open late and the staff was nice. Though, they were busy making online/mobile orders. Waited about 10 mins for our drinks to be ready. I ordered my drink, Hokkaido with no ice. I'm not sure why, but this drink was pretty dark when I'm used to ordering Hokkaido Milk Teas that should be lighter in color like the drink next to mines. It was strange when I asked the staff about it and they said that's how it's normally made and the color. Anyways, I drank it and it tasted nothing like Hokkaido and upset that I was craving this drink but it was a disappointment for sure. The boba was fine, it wasn't super sweet, it was not mushy and hard so it was made just right chewy texture, so they had the boba or shall I say "pearl" made right. I don't think I would return to any Share Tea in the future, if this is how all their Hokkaido Milk Teas look and taste. I've had Hokkaido at a bunch of other places before and never have I seen it this color and taste like it was at this location. It tasted like a slight watered down coffee, and it was not delicious. I gave it 3 stars for cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and my friend enjoyed his drink. I am not happy with my drink and wished the staff was able to offer me something else when I questioned the drink that maybe they made the wrong one, but they assured me they made the correct one and that's how it looks normally. They finally opened right next to Ami sushi! It's pretty cute inside with lots of seating, maybe a little too many seats since they're too close together. There's wifi but not many outlets (I see maybe 2). The place is really cute inside! I wasn't planning on staying long, but if I do try to study here I might ask them to lower to music. The place is kinda echo-y though. I got the Okinawa (roasted brown sugar) pearl milk tea and it was pretty good! It wasn't too strong or too sweet for me and the pearls seemed pretty fresh! My friends got the classic pearl milk tea and the thai tea with baby pearls! The thai tea was a little floral tasting, so not an authentic thai tea. My friend liked it, but I didn't (I don't like floral drinks). I think they're pretty good with the sweetness levels. The prices are average, a little on the higher side but they only have the large sized tall cups. Surprised toppings are 75 cents instead of the standard 50 cents. They do have a good number of topping choices though! The owner was there and was really nice. The workers seemed nice too. They just opened today so everyone's still getting the hang of everything but they were doing well for their first hour of being open. They're also doing promotions for their first two weeks! Parking is also not the best so you may need to try to find parking around and don't park on the street adjacent to the shop. I really like this place! Giving this two stars today mainly focusing on service and selection of drinks. Service-I ordered 4 drinks ahead of 15 people behind me in line. Yes, I did keep track. As you order, you can see the progress of drinks being made. The 15 behind me all came out first. Instead of simultaneously making my group order as other single orders are coming in. They made all single orders before mine causing me to wait for 25 minutes for my order compared to 5 min for others. Menu-Half of my drink orders published on their website were not available when I got there. That's ok I accommodated and selected two other drinks. All drinks by time order was ready and after consuming were very watered down and not worth the wait or price. Overall: Don't go here if you're planning to order more than two drinks. I was really excited to try Sharetea, but unfortunately, my experiences have been pretty disappointing. The drinks I ordered sounded promising, but it fell short almost every time I've ordered a milk tea from here. The drink itself lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting. It seems like there's not a good balance between the milk and the tea. And with a lower sweetness level, it was even worse! I've tried about 3 different milk teas over the past couple of months, each time hoping the next drink would be better than the previous. Sadly that was just not the case for this Sharetea location. This is the most reliable boba place in Westwood. I drink boba at least once a week, so I have collected sufficient data on the boba shops near UCLA. I like Sharetea because their drinks are consistent in quality and don't wreck my bank account too badly. Ordering here is very easy. They have different employees working every time I come, but they're all very knowledgeable about the drinks; I feel comfortable taking a chance and trying a new drink anytime I'm in the mood. They also opened up the tables for seating again, which is nice. My recent visit was on a Monday afternoon. I ordered a Thai iced tea with boba, which came out in less than 10 minutes.
