I gave it so many opportunities but what can I say, the results stay the same. Sometimes it is worse. I ordered a Jasmine milk tea and oolong milk tea, and they taste like bland milky water. Wow. This sharetea was pretty hard to find in my case because I didn't expect it to be all the way inside the plaza next to some restaurants. The cashier here was pretty nice and assisted me to get a drink- I ended up with their classic black milk tea with pearls (boba). You can choose the your own level of sweetness/ice. The drink was about $4 and the pricing is reasonable and similar to other boba drink places. The tea itself was pretty good but the boba was hard to chew. It didn't really have any flavor and I kept spitting it out because I was so tired of chewing it forever... service was good but the drink wasn't 100% perfect. I've had mixed experiences with various Sharetea locations, but overall, the taste of the drinks seems to be fairly consistent. This particular location is a bit hidden, as it's tucked off in a remote corner on the side of a strip mall, but it's conveniently located near South Coast Plaza. The inside is really dim and dark for some odd reason, but the staff is pretty friendly and they offer a wide variety of drinks. Prices are fairly reasonable - most of the drinks cost around $4.50 to $5, depending on what toppings you get and they only come in one size (large). I had the milk tea with boba here and asked for reduced sugar, which was pretty good. I wish the tea had a stronger brewed taste, as it was definitely overpowered by powdered creamer (which is honestly not my preference - why don't more places use liquid creamer or some type of lactose-free milk?!), but the boba pearls were perfect and chewy! I don't love the tea at Sharetea in general, but I keep coming back for boba alone because it's THAT good!!! read more

"Boba well done is no bueno." Drank: I had the okinawa milk tea with pearls (boba). I requested for half sugar but the minimum amount of sugar needed for this tea is 80%. The tea for me just started like regular milk tea so no brown sugar taste was present. Boba was well done and robbed me of that stratifying feeling of chewing boba. This was disappointing. Vibes: This place feels very dim and makes me want to sit outside in the cold rather than be inside of sharetea to share some memories. Service: I wait no longer than 3 minutes tops for my drink to come out ready to poke a straw through that little plastic cap. If you are looking for a fasttea then sharetea is yourtea. Been here twice. The first time was okay. The worker wasn't too friendly, and my drink tasted meh. It was a Hokkaido milk tea with egg pudding. I asked for a less sweet version (like one step down from normal sweetness), and regretted it. The drink almost had a watery consistency and almost no flavor. The pudding was good, though. Second time was awful. I was second in line, but the person in front of me probably took about 10 minutes to order because she was talking on her phone. She ordered 8 of the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea without boba and with less ice. Luckily, the worker this time had just a smidge of customer service skills, and apologized to me about the wait. However, I said "just a smidge" for a reason. I also ordered the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea, but with no adjustments. Instead of making my drink quickly and letting me get on with my day, the cashier and another worker filled the first lady's multiple orders first (which I *kinda* understand since she was there before me... But that seems so inefficient). So I waited another 10 minutes. The icing on the excrement cake (i.e. this situation) was that since the menu doesn't have descriptions of the drink, and I had only been there twice, I didn't know what to expect in the drink. So when the guy finally called out my order (after the lady was gone), I grabbed the drink and booked it out of there. As I was drinking the bev, I was already across the street at South Coast Plaza, taking in the strange, sweet flavors of the jellies. Then I read the sticker on the cup and saw that it said "no boba, less ice." So they gave me the wrong order and cheated me on the boba. ShareTea has been my go to for years now. One of my favorite places regardless of the far commute. As of lately the customer service hasn't been the best. Last 2 of 3 times the employees have been rude. A female employee took my order and looked annoyed when taking my order. When my order was ready my drinks weren't called. Out. I was sitting in the back, if it wasn't for me looking up because of the fact I hadn't heard my order getting called and it was a while I would've kept waiting for my order to be called. It's not like they were busy nor was it loud in their to where I couldn't hear. I've been a customer for too long to know that they always call your drinks out regardless of how busy they are. When I waited there to ask an employee if this was my order to ensure I wasn't taking someone else's order. it seemed like all the employees were avoiding me. I enjoy Taiwanese drinks like boba when it just taste better than regular boba places unless you know which places have the best boba drinks. The first time I came here I ordered the mango green tea drink without boba that was delicious. I didn't feel like milk tea so late at night unless I plan on being wide awake. I like how you can tell them the sweetness level for your drink when some places they make it so sweet it just taste like you poured 1/2 a cup of sugar then mixed it in the drink. Some people don't like their drinks sugary sweet so this place is perfect for those who are health conscious. Anytime I am in the area I like to get my boba drink here. I took the classic oolong milk tea with mini boba's to go to drink the next day one time. The mini boba's stayed soft till the next day. I am not sure if the big boba's will be soft usually most of the time large boba's are hard the next day. I do suggest go with mini boba's if you want to save your drink to enjoy the next day or don't get any. Whoever owns or manages this store needs to train their employees ASAP. You have 4 people making drinks yet they come out super slow and with no organization or communication. There are finished drinks scattered all around, at the pick up window, on random counters, still on machines, etc. Incomplete orders everywhere. Furthermore, while waiting for my order for 15 min, the entire time I could hear one of your employees (male with glasses) yelling and arguing with other employees from the back and continuing into the public prep area. Love ShareTea in general. Great milk tea but the music is so damn loud at this location (and almost always inappropriate) that I honestly dread going in. Please turn the music down, I should be able to hear the person next to me speaking. I can barely hear my own voice at this location. Most of the employees are rude and always in a bad mood. I get customer service/food industry is not a fun job, but being professional is part of any job. One guy in particular seems to be pissed off by his own existence and I'm 99% positive he's the one in control of the music lol. You only see me checking in here twice because I forget to do it regularly, but I'm here quite often, at different times of the day and different days of the week....and every time, I've gotten excellent customer service, perfect drinks, and have never received a wrong order! Every time I walk in, I'm greeted right away by a worker, and if I'm indecisive, they'll help me decide on my drink with patience! People complain that the drinks are bland, but do they realize they can adjust the sweetness and customize it in so many ways?!?! As for messed up orders, shouldn't you check to make sure your drink is correct when picking it up anyways LOL? First time coming here. I gave it a 3, because I wasn't sure how I feel about it yet. I'd go back to try it again. I got the Honey Milk Tea - 50% sweetness. You can really taste the tea. It's pretty standard boba place, but I've had better before. They have good selections though and it's next to other restaurants like Bella Cuba. My friend's order got messed up a couple of times(in 1 visit) one was wrong boba, and when they did it again... they switched the bobas in our drinks. Like others have said, it's decently priced and the teas are good. The store isn't too big and only seats a few tables in the front. Menu is on a big board out near the front of the store with milk teas, regular teas, and a "Top 10 drinks" list. I went safe and got a Honey Milk Tea with baby boba and my boyfriend got the Classic Milk Tea with Oolong tea with baby boba. They only have one size and the size is about a typical "large" size at regular boba places. First thing I noticed was their drinks have a really prevalent tea flavor. I appreciate this as a lot of boba places will have the overwhelmingly sweet boba drinks. I'm glad they use real tea as the base for their drinks. Also, they handmake each drink by shaking the tea and sugar together before pouring into your cup. Their baby boba is also more like medium-sized boba. Conveniently located in the shopping plaza with Toys R Us, TJ Max, and Ross. Lots of parking and no wait to order. Got our drinks in about 2-3 minutes. Make sure to use the 10% Yelp check-in for a drink around $3.85. Will be back! read more

I don't drink too much milk tea anymore (trying to cut down on that sugar!) .. but I am a fan of Sharetea. I definitely prefer it over the TapEx/Lollicup/etc. chains. I've had their Hokkaido Milk Tea ($4) and their plain Black Milk Tea ($3.50) - both consistently delicious. I will be trying their Coffee Milk Tea next since I tried some of my friend's and was surprised to find the coffee taste to be very strong (a good thing in my book). The location itself is SPOTLESS and the staff is very friendly! There is only 1 size option but you get to customize the sweetness level, amount of ice and whether or not you want any add-ins :) Parking should never been an issue since it is a big lot - but Sharetea is located near multiple restaurants so the area might get busy during lunch and dinner hours. read more

You'll find this place at the first floor of the corner plaza with plenty of parking and eateries. I usually stop by ShareTea when I'm in the area for lunch before heading back into the office. There usually is a line but it goes by super fast so you won't be spending a lot of time here. Something I really appreciate about this place is that they use non-dairy creamer in their milk teas yay! The drink size is bigger than average for about the same price! A few of my favorites are earl grey milk tea, honey milk tea, and Okinawa milk tea. I used to never get pudding as my topping but after trying it here, I get it more often than I get the boba balls. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a 10% discount! They also have stamp cards. Buy 10, get 1 free. I've always love going to the Sharetea in Fountain Valley, but I stopped by this location since I was near by. Their green milk tea and taro milk tea tasted super watered down and their strawberry black tea tasted super sour.. I don't understand why the drinks were so off compared to their other location.. I threw my drink out because it wasn't worth it. I'm definitely avoiding this location next time. However, their employees are friendly and was quick to adjust the drinks.
