Came here for a second time and all I can say is just ordered at kiosk and wait till it's made for you. Here the drinks they make is very good and the boba taste fresh as well. Service here is ok. You don't get greeted on. Here they put your drink there and then you just check from the counter if it's made or not. They get pretty busy and they don't make any eye contact or get greeted on as well. Not sure if they call the number or not.. ambience here is ok .. They can get really busy but they can make the drink pretty fast.

Ordering kiosk and a seating area

This small but cozy little tea spot is nestled in a shared parking lot, and easy to miss if you aren't looking for it! But what a treat it was to find this while I was working nearby. I had no trouble grabbing a close parking spot. Upon entering, I was met with a quiet and cozy spot with warm wood tones and plenty of seating. A couple groups of people were enjoying their drinks and studying or working. There are bar-height tables, regular tables for groups, and shorter floor seating tables, I imagine like more traditional seating in places like Japan. I placed my order at a kiosk; there was no line so I walked straight up. I ordered the roasted oolong milk tea, which comes with boba. My drink was ready after just a few minutes, and the staff who handed it to me were friendly. Other than receiving my drink, there was no staff interaction. The drink was perfect and well balanced! I like to reduce sweetness on my drinks so I ordered this one 75% sweet and it was just right. The boba was soft and chewy and there was plenty of it. Their seasonal drinks look interesting! I almost grabbed one of those but I like to judge a place by one of my usual orders so a classic milk tea is a great start.

Trying the seasonal drinks and love it! Drinks are fresh and also love their snacks too. I had: 1. Wintermelon milk tea 2. Matcha colada 3. Lunaria milk tea 4. Spooky latte 5. Mint choco frost 6. Sunset tea

The concept is so interesting with the floor seating. Extremely popular late night study and hang out spot so dont expect available seating. The drinks are pretty decent, not anything special or high quality but also not chain quality. I like that they have a bubble tea with both toppings. Around omomo pricing. (Mid tier). The 75% sweet is quite sweet and the fruity slush drinks are on the concentrated side so recommend.less sweet. Kiosk order available, tight parking

LR: Lunaria Milk Tea w Honey Boba, Extra Spicy House French Fries, Popcorn Chicken, Spooky Latte
    Ivy D.

Stopped by around noon and noticed it was busier than usual,, likely with students back and using the space to study. The Lunaria Milk Tea with honey boba was surprisingly unique (think root beer without the carbonation), and the Spooky Latte had a cozy chai-pumpkin spice flavor with a creamy, floral touch. They forgot the boba at first, but the staff fixed it right away without any hassle. The Extra Spicy House Fries weren't actually spicy, but packed with flavor, and the Popcorn Chicken paired perfectly with the sweet & sour sauce. Some things to note: the number they call in-store doesn't match the one from your online order, so keep an eye on the counter. Another thing was when ordering through the app, the tea and chicken combo didn't have an option to add sauce. Not sure why it was a bit different than the kiosk in store.

Summerfield is always a good spot to visit whenever you're in need of a quick boba fix! Think this deal might've been limited but we did the BOGO Basics, where you get buy one, get one free of a basic drink (we got the Thai Orange drinks for only $6) -- so good! I also got the Brown Bear Boba because it used to be my favorite. This time around though, it was kind of too milky and the brown sugar flavor wasn't really coming through. Service was good. We ordered online for pickup, so it was just grab and go. The inside feels very home-y, and you can always expect students to be in there studying. The parking lot is also tight since it's in a small plaza, so it may be a struggle to find a spot.

    Seaside Tea

I came here during happy hour and got their deal for buy one get the other drink for $2. which only applies to fresh teas and milk teas. We got the Tropical Beach, Seaside, and Sunset drinks. Our drinks came out in about 10 minutes which wasn't bad since we had 8 drinks total. Tropical Beach (3/5) - The drink was sweet enough at 70% and came with lychee jelly. However, the strawberry flavor wasn't very prominent making the entire drink taste a little watered down overall. Sunset (2/5) - This drink was pretty disappointing and also tasted watered down at 70% sweetness. I think having the base as green tea would've made the drink better since the black tea overpowered the other flavors. It came with crystal boba, aloe vera, and basil seeds though so that was nice. Seaside (4/5) - This was probably the best drink of the ones we got. The pineapple was most prominent and there was a good balance between the tea and fruit flavors. The drink also came with crystal boba, lychee jelly, and basil seeds. There is an option to order online (Toast app) as well as a drive through making it super convenient to place your order. The store overall is decorated really nice and modern and there's plenty of seating. The drinks are pretty consistent between this location and their Santa Ana location however the drinks taste premade but still a good option to have in the area. Their milk teas are better in my opinion.

I got the strawberry smoothie with lychee and it tasted good. The place and the parking lot is small. Seating inside was pretty limited when I went around 10pm on a weekday but the place is very aesthetics!

Boba for breakfast? Yes, please! Whoever came up with the idea to open earlier deserves a raise. It's quite rare for boba shops to open earlier than 11 AM which is annoying, to be honest. My sister and I are definitely using this place to study from now on. The menu offers a decent range of drink options as well as light food options. * Lychee Green Tea: 9/10 - light flavor and comes with chia seeds * Passionfruit Green Tea: 8/10- sweet and tart * Honey Boba (Topping): 7/10 - soft and chewy but got hard after a couple of hours The interior is pretty spacious and they have a decent amount of seating. The only downside about the shop is that they're located in a tiny plaza with limited parking. I have no idea what it'd look like at peak hours so try your best to carpool if you plan on meeting friends! Our favorite part was that they had boba ready early in the morning -- which never happens. Usually, boba shops don't have boba cooked until about 30 minutes after they open so we were impressed. The employees were also so friendly and welcoming which made our experience that much more enjoyable! We'll be stopping by more often! :)

It has such a unique vibe. It's located around Downtown Santa Ana, and the sign isn't very big, so it can be a little hard to find. Honestly, I'm glad I came with my friends because if I had come by myself, I probably would have missed it and gone home. The atmosphere is definitely different from your typical Orange County coffee shop. I heard the owners are from New York, and I think you can feel that influence. It has a very urban, sophisticated feel, but at the same time, there's something warm yet slightly cool and edgy about the space. It's hard to explain, but it has a personality of its own. The coffee bar is completely open, so you can watch the baristas make your drink and see every little movement they make. I wanted to try so many things on the menu, but I had already had two cups of coffee that day, so I decided to go with matcha instead. What really impressed me was how detailed they were when taking my order. They asked about the sweetness level, syrup options, type of milk, and even the type of cup I wanted. Since I was staying to enjoy my drink there, they served my matcha in a beautiful glass. And watching them make the matcha right in front of me was such a treat. It wasn't just some sweet matcha powder mixed with milk. You could really taste the quality of the matcha, and the drink was clean, smooth, and delicious. Santa Ana is a little far from my home, so I don't come here very often. But this place made me want to come back someday, take my time, and just enjoy a cup of matcha without rushing. Definitely a place with its own character. Would I come back? 100% YES.

I believe their espresso leans toward a lighter roast, coming through bright and expressive, while the milk drinks are dialed in with that smooth, silky texture that makes you want to savor. That said, the drinks don't always scratch the itch for me in the way I might expect but it might just be that their speciality drinks aren't quite what I typically look for. Nonetheless I do still think they have a strong coffee program and a team that clearly cares about craft.

Great service caught me at Enchanted Coffee…read more Some coffee shops serve great coffee. Others leave you thinking about the experience long after you've left. Enchanted Coffee did exactly that. I stopped by around 12:40 p.m. on a weekday, and the café was already bustling with customers. Luckily, I found the perfect outdoor seat where I could enjoy the sunshine without sitting directly in it. Inside was clean and welcoming, with mostly high-top seating, a communal island, and a small corner with traditional tables. Being on the shorter side, I knew the patio was my best option. During my visit, I also noticed guests enjoying the café with their dogs, adding to the relaxed neighborhood feel. Whenever I visit a new restaurant or coffee shop, I'm looking for more than great food. I'm paying attention to the experience. Customer service is where I believe businesses either shine or fall flat, and it's often what determines whether I'll return. I ordered the Lox Bagel along with a lavender oat milk matcha. I asked if I could add a single shot of espresso, but Elizabeth explained they pull two shots at a time. I laughed and told her, "I don't want you to dump it," so I happily took the double shot. She also let me know the bagel would likely take 20-25 minutes because only two employees were working. I appreciated her honesty and told her to take her time. Instead, my food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The Lox Bagel came on an everything bagel which was my choice, smoked salmon, cream cheese, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, and capers. They serve it whole, allowing you to slice it yourself. The bagel had the perfect toasted crunch, while the combination of creamy cream cheese, fresh vegetables, salty capers, and rich salmon created a bite that was balanced and incredibly satisfying. The dirty lavender matcha paired beautifully with it. As more customers continued to pour in, I couldn't help but watch how the staff handled the growing crowd. People patiently waited in line, squeezed into available seats, grabbed drinks to go, and somehow everything continued flowing smoothly. Even with only two employees working, the service never lost its warmth. Enchanted Coffee captivated me with more than its coffee. It was the hospitality, the honesty, and the overall experience that won me over. Needless to say, they've earned themselves a new weekly customer. If you're in the area or simply want to be captivated by the drinks, food and service...definitely give them a try.

I get the hype! Airoma Cafe constantly ranks high on the list of best matcha spots in Southern…read moreCalifornia. The cafe is cute with a small number of interior tables. They are located in the same plaza as Brodard, Vox Kitchen, Rol Handbar, etc. in Fountain Valley. This location is open later than the other Airoma. They use ceremonial matcha which makes a huge difference. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte (74% sweet) after trying one previously in LA. I paid and waited for my order to be ready. After a few minutes, I received my order. I shook it up and tried it. Delicious! Even better than I remembered. My husband who doesn't usually enjoy matcha, tried it and liked it. He does not dig the earthy taste, but this drink changed his perspective. Airoma made my husband a believer in matcha. We do not usually go out too often for matcha, but when I'm in the mood next, this place will be a must visit. I'll have to try their egg coffee in the future too.

She assured me that Airoma does not serve gritty matcha. I was worried about the line, so I ordered ahead. Great choice, because I didn't have time to stand in the line that had already formed! My Double Matcha was ready when I arrived, and I am happy to report that there was no gritty sediment! I will be coming here for my future matcha fixes!

Excellent Vietnamese coffee spot, top tier! Parking is easy…read moreand free, in a strip mall. Service is friendly and efficient, you get a buzzer for your drinks/food. We tried their Hazelnut Phin Coffee which was strong and full bodied flavor- one of my favorite. I also liked their peanut butter espresso (not Phin, so a little weaker) but very good. We also tried their Chocolate croissant which was extremely flaky (and embarrassing how much of a mess we made) but delicious. Their Bahn Mi Que (southern Viet sandwich) which comes in a pack of 2 small ones, which was well flavored and delicious. Will be back when in the area. They also have water and tea for free if sitting down! WiFi and clean bathrooms- a good place to study or hang out.

Ordering was quick but they were clearly making drinks out of order because several people who ordered the same drink (pandan espresso) got theirs before me, despite ordering after me. Also, after checking on the status of my drinks with the person calling out names/buzzing the buzzers, he just went to the back and... never came back? And after asking again after another 5-10 minutes, they tried to tell me if I wanted my drink now, I'd have to accept one without my sweetness adjustment? They also gave me cups with different people's order tickets on them (but the drinks themselves were right), so I'm fairly certain they lost my drink ticket and have passed the problem onto other people now. Overall, not a good experience and wouldn't come back; the pandan espresso was alright but Airoma's is still better.
