I had a great experience at this particular Sharetea location. I ordered the milk tea with pearls blended drink, which is pretty much a milk tea icy with boba. I asked for 50% sweetness level and the staff member said he would try his best because reduced sweetness for blended drinks can be too diluted and lose its flavor, or so he says. Yaaaaas, a location closer to home! I don't have to drive to Fullerton or Cerritos to get my Sharetea fix anymore! I like that their drinks are customizable and they ask you if you'd like to adjust the sweetness or ice level. The drinks run for about $4 and they only come in one size. Add ons are $.50 and you can even add ice cream to your drink! The pearl drinks come with boba; no extra fee for your boba! I've tried the Hokkaido and the Okinawa and they're both solid. What keeps me coming back though, is the mango green tea creama! So unique and yumm. I can't find this drink anywhere else soo.. I'm just happy they opened a location closer to me! You cut the lid at the top so when you take a sip, you get some creama and some tea :) when I get bored of drinking it this way, I'll just mix it up and it makes it creamy and gives it a new taste. Came here with a couple of people. The service here is generally slow, but the employees are nice. Me and my bf ordered the Oolong milk tea and the Wintermelon green tea with whole milk, 75% sweet. LOCATION: The location of this place is in a nice little plaza! There's plenty of seating inside and out. The decoration inside has a modern take which I like, with the grey cement wall wallpaper, which makes the place look a more spacious. The parking lot is pretty big, so it shouldn't be hard to find a parking spot. DRINKS: So for the Oolong milk tea, it was very watered down and barely had any flavor of Oolong, unfortunately. I like my drink tasting like the actual tea, but the tea flavor didn't even pop out. For my bf's drink, usually at the sharetea Cerritos location, they are able to make our drink perfectly with the right amount of sweetness, but for this location, the cashier said that they were unable to make our drink 75% sweet and had to adjust the syrup instead. When we got the drink, it tasted like straight up milk. Just milk, with a hint of Winter-melon. OVERALL: Although this store is in a great location, the drinks aren't made that great in my opinion. I rate this place a 3 stars because unfortunately very sad that they don't give you a bag when you order one drink. I totally understand their rules but sometimes it can be an exception because I'm holding a 20lbs baby with my cc and keys on my other hand. This is one my favorite places to get my milk tea fix in Orange County. I like it because I am able to adjust the sweetness in all the drinks. My go-to drink is Earl Grey with fresh milk. It's light and refreshing. If Earl Grey is not your thing, they have other drinks. They have a wide selection of drinks. Another drink that I like to get is the Hawaii Fruit Tea, I recommend getting it with 50% (or 30%) sugar as the combination of all the fruits in the tea make it very sweet. Went in for boba on a rainy night. As soon as my son opened the door to step inside, he slipped and fell down. There was a caution sign but it was near the register. The floor was extremely slippery and I think they should have put the sign right at or near the door. By the time we saw that sign, he had already slipped! No one bothered asking if he was ok or not. The lady at the register wasn't very friendly either. I requested my drink to be 80% sweet but tasted more like 20% sweet. My milk tea was lacking the tea taste. I wanted to try Sharetea since I heard about it in Fullerton, but luckily it came to me near my workplace so yay! It's currently in its soft opening I think so they only accept cash at the moment. It's located in the plaza directly across Sears near Euro Caffe and Yogurtland. The interior was spacious and seemed a bit bland which I think is why it's just their soft opening. Their menu is extensive with an average price of $4 and add-ons are $0.50 each. I recommend getting any of the Pearl Milk Teas because they come with pearls (boba) so you don't have to pay an extra $0.50 unless u want more. I first got their Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea here due to my coworker suggesting it and it was actually pretty good. I decided to be spontaneous and add ice cream (vanilla) into the drink for $0.50! The drinks were made quickly and they also give you stamp cards. The drink sweetness and ice level are adjustable with no cost which is great because I don't like a lot of ice in my drinks. The drinks are one size which looks equivalent to a Large so that's another perk. I will definitely be coming back! read more

I havent come to Sharetea in forever. I've been to several tea shops since I last came here so I didnt know what to expect. I went with the Hawaii Fruit tea with aiyu jelly. I loved the idea of the combination of fruits. This one had passionfruit, lemon, and maybe strawberry? Whatever the combination, it was a really good mix. The tea also came in pretty strong. It tasted like a green tea, but im not 100% sure. It also came with aiyu jelly which didnt have a whole lot of flavor. I asked for this to be slightly sweet and less ice. The less ice was nice, but the slightly sweet was....SWEET. Like i cant imagine this drink with full sweetness. Maybe some people like it, but i think they need to tone it down. Also the drink was $5.50, which was steep for a drink that didnt even have boba. Overall, sharetea is definitely one of the better chains out there, but i just dont love boba or fruit tea to continue to come back. read more

Since they aren't the best in quality, the lines are super short and your drinks are ready pretty quickly. They also don't always make your drinks consistently here either. i'm impressed by the quality of the milk pudding they served here! i think coming into sharetea, i had low expectations because i heard good and bad things about the bubble tea here. i ordered the winter melon with milk and the milk pudding as a topping, light ice and 70% sugar. i was genuinely impressed, since i was just craving bubble tea and it showed up near the area where my friend and i was at. my friend was desperately looking for a bathroom, and they had one so it was convenient as well. the reason why i gave a four star was because the smell of bleach was pungent, but overall, i liked the drinks. there were the various options of bubble tea, and the price range is reasonable. will definitely come back again if i'm around the area and is craving bubble tea! read more

This place has become my go-to boba stop! I basically come here every day on the weekends. The people who work here better recognize me by now... My go-to drink is Oolong milk tea. I love the toasty flavor of Oolong. The other milk teas are really good too! I recently discovered the Fresh Oolong milk tea which is made with milk instead of non-dairy creamer. The fresh milk tea taste is lighter and has a less creamy taste. I'm not sure if I prefer the normal non-dairy creamer or the fresh milk version... I guess it would depend on what I feel like that day. The fruit teas are delicious but make sure you ask for no added sugar because the fruit syrups are sweet already. I like how the with the fruit teas you get little bits of fruit at the bottom so it tastes more fresh! When I'm feeling sick, I always come to Sharetea for the hot ginger tea. It makes me feel better every time and gets my sweat glands working! Sometimes it gets pretty crowded and the lines get pretty long but the drinks always come out quick. Sharetea is a chain, and one that I think is pretty good. Yes, they do use powder instead of fresh, brewed tea. But at least the tea flavor is good unlike other places where the tea flavor is barely there. They only have one size for drinks, which is more like a large at other places. The price for what you get is also slightly better (think Tapioca Express). I usually get the milk teas and have also tried the matcha red bean milk tea. The QQ family tea flavor wasn't my favorite although I do love toppings in my drinks. My go-to drinks are classic green milk tea, handmade taro milk tea, milk teas with fresh milk, and add-ins pudding, grass jelly, aloe vera. There is only one large serving size so I will probably only come here if I am sharing a drink with my husband. But that's usually the case! It was a hot summer day so I definitely wanted an ice blended drink. I was disappointed there was no Matcha green tea flavor but there was a taro ice blended so I ordered that. I liked how you could customize the sweetness! Usually these drinks are way too sugary so I only ordered 30% sugar and it was still very good! The taro flavor was very good. I highly recommend this flavor! I got a rewards punch card that I will most definitely use so that is also a nice plus! I may try a different ratio of ice to drink next time. I've been to Sharetea many times and it's quickly become one of my favorite boba shops! Consistency is key for me and I've never had a bad drink at Sharetea (yet). We generally go about an hour before closing and they're always crowded. But we never have to wait too long for our drinks which I really appreciate! They only have one size for their drink and it's a large size so you can actually share your drink if you want. My favorite drink to get here is definitely QQ Happy Family. This is just their regular milk tea with 5 random toppings. They allow you to choose 2 toppings that you want and you can always tell them what to avoid. I tried red beans in my drink for the first time because of QQ Happy Family! I've also enjoyed their Hokkaido Milk Tea, Kiwi Fruit Tea, Almond Milk Tea...basically I've tried a bunch of them. Their boba is always on point and I love their pudding. The only topping that I don't like is their taro mochi. That really fell flat for me because of the texture. Very mushy and slimy. I wish Sharetea was a little closer to me! But they're located right across the street from South Coast Plaza so it's convenient for us to drop by after shopping. What is all the type about?! This location was super busy and crowded! We were having lunch next door at Bella Cuba and were eating lunch outside with KL and people just kept coming! After we ate, we went inside and ordered. First off, this music is WAY too LOUD!! How can the girl at the counter even hear people's order and get the right?! Second, we noticed that there aren't many dairy alternatives! When we asked the girl at the counter, she seemed so unsure and said the only thing they had was the fresh milk teas (made with whole milk) That was not too assuring for us and my sister wasn't able to order a drink (she's doing the keto diet and she can have almond milk as her dairy). I went for their Thai iced tea. We waited a few minutes and the lines kept coming. I did notice the girl who was taking orders had an attitude for sure. An employee asked her about the volume of the music and she had a snarky reply. Got my drink and we split like bananas! When I tasted my drink, it was very thick and unappealing. A little pricier than let's say 7 Leaves, but whatever... but I tried ordering a couple drinks through Yelp today, and my order said it had not yet been verified with the restaurant and to contact customer service. I don't know if it's a GrubHub customer service or a Yelp customer service since it's an order through Yelp via GrubHub, but regardless the customer service guy who answered my call called Sharetea and told me that they weren't accepting orders through them today. Naturally I asked him if he could cancel my order or reimburse me since I had already paid, and he said "yes, have a nice day" (as if he was about to end the call) so I immediately said, "wait, did you do it already, when can I expect to be reimburse?" He bit back - "YEEES, uhhhh I'm sending you a text right now telling you your orders been canceled okay?" - Well d!ck, my bad Jesus! It's not my fault you're not informative or professional... if you don't like your job then quit, don't take it out on me. Your job after all is Customer Service!! For F@cks sake! People like that guy make me rant to backhand customer service reps. It's not as if I was requesting anything special... just a simple verification of if the order has been canceled and when to expect being reimbursed, furthermore I shouldn't have had to ask for that info, he should've given it to me. Unfortunately, Sharetea wasn't as tasty as I'd hoped! I've visited twice and both times let me down. Today's visit was really disappointing. I ordered black milk tea with boba and no adjustments which is what I always order at boba shops. It was SO watered down and didn't really have a tea taste to it. However, the boba was nice and chewy. I'm sad that I wasted $4. I came here to kill time because I had to be nearby in an hour. I brought my laptop, but the tables do not have any nearby plug outlets. The chairs are also the high, metal chairs that are uncomfortable. Maybe they don't want people doing work, studying, or hanging out so if that's what you're coming here for - DON'T! Unless you have a portable charger and your butt is comfy in those metal chairs. I regretted coming here because my drink lacked flavor and I couldn't get any work done. I was not offered a stamp card, but the guests after me were offered. Maybe they forgot? You can actually taste real mango. The rest of their other drinks are ok. Service: -0/5 rating We have been regular customers since they opened and have seen numerous employees come and go. This place has definitely gone downhill with service after they had change of ownership. They are rude and also forget what to put in your drinks. When you tell them they aren't even apologetic but make it appear like it's the customers fault. Most of them seem like they could be the owners friend so they don't care if they get complaints. It's easier to find parking if you're willing to walk a little farther. Drinks: the milk teas are amazing here. You have the option to get fresh milk too.
