    Wonton soup

I came here and I enjoyed it very much. I ordered the combo and it was good. My friend ordered sushi and they loved their food. The food was good and I ate all of it. The sushi was fresh. We ordered the lobster curry rangoon and that I did not like, the curry flavor overpowered the rangoon. That was the only thing which I did not like. I order the wonton soup and that was delicious. They also decorate the plates really nicely. I would definitely recommend this place. The place has a nice decor and the service was perfect. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Had the pleasure of checking out Shinbashi this week! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service staff were knowledgeable, kind, and quick. We ordered a bunch of rolls and noodles, and also had everything gluten free as one member of our party has celiac's. The staff and kitchen easily accommodated to the gluten free dietary restriction, which is always nice!

Really enjoyed eating here!! And our server Danielle was great! We had the pork fried rice, veggie lo mein, pineapple chicken, generals tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, and the coconut shrimp (my favorite!!!) And the kids had the chicken nuggets and fries. Every was actually quite tasty. We'd definitely go back if we are ever in the area again! (We were in the way out of Acadia). Out of the many many times I've eaten Chinese food, this was one of the top spots

This is a solid choice for tasty Chinese food. Note, they also have sushi but I didn't try any. We stopped in for lunch. They have a nice selection of lunch specials, and you get kind of a bento box style with your choice of entree, pork fried rice, egg roll, fresh fruit, and appetizer. I think it was around $15.00. I had sesame tofu with crab Rangoon and my partner had sweet and sour chicken with chicken sticks. I tried a bit of everything and it was all good. The sweet and sour chicken was especially good. The sauce had a nice flavor with a bit of cinnamon in it. The crab Rangoon was fantastic, and so were the chicken sticks. I also appreciated the fresh fruit at the end of the meal. The interior was nicely decorated with good attention to design details and the bathroom was also nice and super clean. We will be back for sure.

Food is excellent and they give huge portions. I have 2 dinners from my 1. Fruit in my dish is freshly cut and to die for. I absolutely love this place and is worth the 35 min drive for their delicious food. This is a must try and you'll be hooked. My favorite is the coconut shrimp.

The restaurant itself is nice and clean. The staff were all very nice. Our server was very busy and hard to catch, even if she'd just put food on our table, to ask for silverware or a missing bowl of rice. The food was okay, but not great. The pineapple chicken was hard and stringy. Other dishes lacked flavor. I was so excited to see that had little dragon buns, which I confirmed with the server were Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). What we received were definitely not Xiao Long Bao. The outside was wrong (fluffy, thick bao) and there was no soup. We got 3 big ones for $8. They were good steamed pork and vegetable buns, but not Xiao Long Bao. I love that Ellsworth has some decent Asian food, but it wasn't the quality I'm used to being from out of state.

    Fun bendy straws- so cute

I cannot recommend this place enough! Myself and three other friends ate here for dinner and really enjoyed our meals and time there. I am Filipina and was hesitant as I'm very picky when it comes to Asian food but it did not disappoint whatsoever. Service was fantastic and the ambiance was so fun and comfortable. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box which was an amazing deal for all the food that it comes with. My friends ordered sushi, pad Thai, and the calamari salad which they all liked a lot. The portion sizes and their presentation make this place worth it alone. My friend requested her pad Thai to be spicy and she said the spice level was great. The Maine roll is a must order. Finally, the blueberry pie is amazing- they use a Chinese flour that makes the crust taste so good and a little different than your usual Maine pie! The owners are a couple and are truly the sweetest people. Thank you so much!

Pork fried rice, heavy undertone of old oil and you can tell it's not fresh above is the Philly role it wasn't terrible.

For appetizers we got crab rangoon and fried pork dumplings. They were decent and the fishbowl for 2 was pretty good but the orange chicken and pork fried rice left us very disappointed and gave us some indigestion almost immediately. We did not feel good. And we did not take more than a couple bites of the food. The chicken was very tough as if it were reheated. And the rice was extremely oily and had no other flavor. All we smelled and tasted is the cooking oil, as if it had been refried over and over again. Bottom line is that - in our opinion - this was NOT fresh or tasty food at all. We explore different Asian cuisines and restaurants very regularly, and this is NOT it.

Spicy tuna roll, not spicy and rice was undercooked

The male server we had was very pleasant and on top of everything. Overall, the food was fabulous. Everything we had was vegan. To start we had the polenta fries which were good but needed salt and there was no salt at the table so that was a minus. I had the gnocchi with tofu, it was a generous portion with a nice presentation and the flavor came out beautifully once I got some salt on it. I really savored every bite of this meal. The side piece of bread was not served with any olive oil or vegan butter so that was a little disappointing. My partner had the vegan bean burger and he liked the flavor but it was very messy for him and he had a bit of trouble eating it neatly which made him not love his as much as I loved my plate. The fresh cut fries on the side of his plate were nice. To drink we both had a couple of utopia daiquiris, they were delicious and strong. Top notch. I took home the baklava (made with agave, not honey) and honestly it was the best I've ever had. It had a very nice salted caramel profile to it so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great options for vegans on a date or just a nice comfortable meal for any occasion.

We started with spanakopita, which is baked and made of layers of phyllo dough, spinach, fresh herbs, ricotta cheese, and feta cheese. For dinner I had the mushroom pasta, which incorporated fresh pappardelle with locally sourced mushrooms. It was in a cream sauce, but the sauce was subtle and didn't overwhelm the dish. I also got the meatballs, which were so flavorful and delicious. My wife had the comfort bowl, which was breaded chicken over Maine mashed potatoes. But what took this over the top was the pear/apple compote and fried leeks. The owner spent some time with us talking about the dishes, the locally sourced ingredients (some from her garden) and Bangor. It was a nice night and a restaurant that I'd return to if I was back in Bangor.

There is indoor and outdoor seating, but it was a bit too chilly for outdoor. The service is friendly and efficient. The Plain Pancake is made thin. I love the buttery crispy edges. Forget the fluffy pancakes, these are the best kind of pancakes! I will have to try the blueberry ones next time. The Chia Pudding with Fresh Berries (Memorial Day Weekend Special) had great texture with the fresh mixed berries. The Home Brewed Iced Tea had a great balance of citrus (Red Zinger and Lemon Zinger) to black tea. It is unsweetened, but there are sugar packets on the table. We had wanted to try the Blueberry Bread Pudding, but we weren't the only ones, as it was already sold out for the holiday weekend! We were informed of this a couple times by the staff, so we knew going in. I was stuffed at the end of the meal. Definitely worth the wait.
