Came here after a nice Hudson river cruise for a late lunch. We were looking for something light. We sat outside and our female waitress was very sweet and helpful. We ordered a salmon burger to share and a side of greens. It was an expected huge fillet, unlike the usual " burgers" I have gotten. It was light but filling. Although it was a little under-seasoned, it was well plated, healthy and a very fresh piece of fish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathrooms were also pretty nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What a good spot in Kingston. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dog friendly and all the food was extremely good![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely get the crab cake. You really can't go wrong with the dishes and the service. 10/10.

The meal at this restaurant was top-notch. I also enjoyed a delicious cocktail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We dined at a table right by the window, so there was a view of the water.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My first server was polite and informative. I asked for sea scallops, but they were never brought out; since I was not charged, I guess it's a moot point. He left mid service and I was given another waitress. She was very rude from the moment that she had to take over serving our table. I don't know why but that was my experience. Also the wait time to get the check was far too long. There was paid street parking. At the time of this posting it was one dollar per hour.

Being that we were about 5ish minutes away returning a U-Haul truck we'd reserved in White Plns, coming to Ship To S. on Strand St in Kingston, was a no-brainer. Plus, it was also highly recommended by one of the staff over at Woodstock Spa. Ship To S. has the feel of an old-school steakhouse+seafood restaurant that may not be old- but eating here, felt like we stepped back in time. The woods (but not just any 'wood') that filled this space and on the floor, that large bar that looks comfy and oh...the beautiful dim lighting. It's like a rabbit warren inside, with some tables squeezed into little nooks and crannies. All the couples looked like they're having affairs. Plus, this passed my 'let's get stuck in here during a rain or snowstorm' test. Our Caesar Salad and Tomato+Saffron Seafood soup starters were tasty and abundant. I rarely go for an Old-Fashioned cocktail, but their "Ho Ho Holiday" version, had a cranberry reduction that was oh so heavenly. Hubs had a Hot Toddy- though I'm used to seeing all the components that make up the drink already in the glass: the lemon, cinnamon stick(s) and sometimes a tea bag. Not here. My twin Lobster Tails were perfectly broiled. The warm butter was another highlight on my dish- but I really didn't need it because my lobsters had wonderful juiciness and natural sweetness to them. Hubs enjoyed his pasta+seafood mix in all its glory. The music playlist was a classic mix of my fave Jamiroquai with Kool & The Gang and R&B...yes, in this restaurant. With the exception of a few 2-3 star reviews, everything else is correct: service was incredible, our meals were tasty, drinks powerful and our guy Tyler, was on his toes the entire time.

Ship to Shore was a great find! It's a stone's throw from the water, and only a few minute's drive from UPAC making this casual Kingston, NY restaurant a great pre-event choice. I love lamb and the NZ Rack of Lamb was cooked to perfection (rare, as it should be), accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. I would order this entrée again without hesitation. Service was attentive.

Every visit has been consistently outstanding. The food is simply exceptional. We've tried many dishes over the years, and honestly, everything on the menu has been delicious. The service is equally impressive--friendly, professional, and always attentive, making every meal feel special. They don't offer a kids' menu, but that has never been an issue for us because our daughter has a very French palate and happily enjoys the regular menu. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation for the weekend, as it tends to fill up quickly. Also, keep in mind that they're closed on **Wednesdays and Sundays**. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an unforgettable French dining experience, Le Canard Enchaîné never disappoints. We always leave looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

This whole time, I really thought this place was inside a cozy hotel about 2 blocks over. Guess you learn something new every day. We pulled up on a Thurs. around 4 with no res. and got seated real quick. Restaurant K. is airy, chic and gives a relaxed vibe. The menu is on the smaller side, but honestly, there's something for every eating style. We kept things light instead of diving into something heavy. Our spring greens salad was really good: hefty mound of mixed greens, lima beans, string beans and a hint of dill to make everything pop. Hubs had the double-stacked burger with white cheddar on a potato bun and loved it. I had high hopes for the hush puppies because they sounded amazing on paper- but they were doughy than corny and threw me off. Then came dessert. Again- sounded great on paper. It kinda feels like desserts get a "reinvented" treatment here(?). For instance, the strawberry shortcake was deconstructed: a few chunks of white cake, some diced strawberries and whipped cream. Totally unexpected. I ordered the 'Fun-Fetti Dunkaroos' with madeleines because they caught my eye, but they're smaller than standard. The food isn't bad at all. We were just caught off guard by how some of our selections were prepped. What really saved the evening were the cocktails. They were beautifully made and had a lot of strength. No watered-down nonsense here! Plus, our server Karina(?) was super sweet. I asked if I could try the passion fruit purée to see if it was the real deal for one of the cocktails I ordered and she brought me a little sample. Passed the test!

The restaurant layout is a little eccentric, but cute in a erratic way. There was the restaurant, an alcove, and a back patio. We sat in the alcove. We ordered the fresh made pasta with tomato and basil. That was very soft and the five year old ate up the half portion. (By the way they do have half portions.) We ordered the lamb ragu, which was very hearty and filling. I also ordered the pasta with seafood, which had heaping amounts of seafood. I think all were pretty fairly priced, considering the quality. The waitress we had was amazing. She helped us get our kid settled and knew exactly what she needed. She made some great suggestions and was overall the best. Great place!

Went up to the rooftop & what a nice dinner we had. We decided to split the GEM Apple Salad(to die for) Strega Pinsa(pizza,w/mozz,ricotta,italian sausage, broccoli rabe) so frickin good, and some Thai wings(my least favorite, missing the flavor for me a little) I ordered a vodka drink called Strega "something", lol, can't think of the name but it had mint in it and very tasty. Of course our fat asses ordered the 3 Gelato flavors, and ate it all!!! It was so good. The best thing about the whole thing was Dillon, our server, who could take everything we dished out & gave back to us,2 50something divas, we enjoyed bantering with him, and over all, he was super gracious & sweet.
