Looking for an early dinner where one of our group wanted a lobster roll and in looking online this was the place. The restaurant is right on the water and if it wasn't a rainy day we all would have taken a nice walked before or after our meal. To start off, our friend and his wife really enjoyed their lobster roll, which was large and good. My wife and I had a rainbow roll and a salmon avocado maki sushi and thought both were good. The other couple also enjoyed their sandwiches and shared their French fries. Kamala was a friendly server who made sure we all got what was ordered and made sure we got requested drink refills.

Came for the lobster roll and it didn't disappoint! We'd been driving around the Cape Cod coastline and walking the beaches and lighthouses. By the time we got to Falmouth we were starving. I'd seen a review of Shipwrecked and wanted to try their lobster roll. We had a delicious calamari appetizer and then the food arrived. It was huge! The lobster was creamy and fresh. I didn't quite know how to tackle it since it was so big. It was amazing though. So good.

We were there on a cool September midweek evening. It was trivia night, so the place was pretty crowded. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was excellent, the drinks were good. The beach is right across the street. It's a nice ocean vibe do it. We played trivia and it was a lot of fun. I had the lobster roll and it was excellent. Photo included.

We drove to Falmouth to look at a boat and needed to lunch somewhere so I chose this place and I am so happy I did! It was absolutely delicious! We started with a yummy French onion soup which we shared. The broth had lots of flavor and not wishy washy like lots I have had. Also it was not loaded with bread! Just perfect!! I had the grilled chicken tacos. The reason they were so good is they seasoned the chicken really well and it was so juicy! It had melted cheese and a little spicy sauce. I can not eat cilantro but the provided me with some freshly chopped tomato because their salsa had cilantro and brought me some sour cream as well. So very accommodating. They were PERFECT! Our server JULES was lovely and spot on. He had a cheeseburger that was an 8 on a scale of 10. Cooked to perfection medium rare! All in all it was just a great place to eat and btw we were the 2nd party going in at 11:30 and by 12:30 it was so busy!

Fantastic sushi! Their rice to fish ratio is the best in Falmouth. While the selection isn't vast, what they make is delicious.

Asti was still known as Estia when we were here a few years ago. Some overlap with another business…read morerequired them to change their name at some point since then, but we enjoyed the same great food and service this time too. It is on W. Main St in Falmouth on the first stretch off of Locust St, which is the Falmouth town name for the road to Woods Hole. There is street parking and a little lot alongside and behind it, though have never found space there. The Greek food is the best I have had since my years growing up in CT. We always have a good time and this summer we were able to get patio seats out front. It's cavernous inside and good for bad weather and large parties. We have eaten inside on other trips when it was colder or rainy. It's fine and comfortable seating and a bit roomier between tables. There are booths inside too. We ate dinner here the night we arrived and again the night before we left. It has become our tradition now. Both nights, we had excellent service and excellent food. We did have the exact same dessert both nights since we had liked it so well the first night and we didn't see anything more balanced for both of our tastes. And their desserts are large enough to share. We had a variety of appetizer items for a smaller meal the first night, tired from having driven from Hartford, via Narragansett, for a stop to see friends. It is the long way to the Cape from Hartford, but seeing our friends was worth it as they have never travelled to CO. The second night we chose larger individual plates based on the items we tried the first night and had another great meal. One of the plates was their enormous version of spanakopita and the other was a large plate of the lamb "lollipops," glorified yummy grilled lamb skewers. We had drinks too. All in all it was truly the quality of food we have come to expect from them. It is family owned and a very polished operation with a vibrant bar inside. All ages were represented in the customer base and I understand that the locals love it too, but they mostly attend off season. It and all of Falmouth was mobbed the week we were there, just before the annual Falmouth Road Race.

Food was outstanding (do the Village Salad!). service was excellent, and atmosphere was beautiful. We've been to Greek restaurants from Heraklion to Thessaloniki and never had anything this wonderful! This place should be on your list to dine in!

But as we came back on our own to visit over the years, it has become our favorite seafood menu in Woods Hole. For many years we used the family friendly, student friendly, fried food classic down the street, but no more. It's always Shuckers for us. We were in town all morning, shopping and eating at our traditional brunch place not far from the Ferry Dock, which is always crowded, but still wonderful. Before we went back to the Woods Hole Passage Inn for a rest, we stopped in to make a dinner reservation. We were pleasantly surprised when we learned it was the Twin Lobster Special night. This classic steamed lobster dinner was at a special price this night, the same price they normally serve the single lobster tray. When we arrived for our dinner, they sat us on the floating patio barge docked at the edge of the dining room. We had seen it on a windy night the last time we were in town. I had watched it sway and bob while people were eating and swore I would never take a seat there myself. But tonight, on a beautiful, calm evening just before sunset, we accepted the challenge, and I am glad we did. There were ducks paddling along the edge and a beautiful view of Eel Pond. We ordered the special. Two whole steamed lobsters, corn on the cob, mussels, and roasted potatoes. We also ordered a beer for my husband and a strawberry lemonade spritz for me. We asked for a second tray to split the food. I cannot imagine one person eating the whole meal but we saw other diners doing so. The servers were fun and efficient, and the diners around us were enjoying themselves too. By splitting the trays, we had room to do all the cracking and peeling. The lobster was so fresh and it was the best we had on this trip. And amazingly, we were full at the end, saving just a little room for dessert at the restaurant down the street where we had our dessert last time. Shuckers does not do desserts at all. But later when we went down the street, the restaurant we had planned was closed. Apparently, even in high season, they only serve 4-5 nights a week and our night was not one of them. At least, we saved on calories and we had more time left to walk around the pond and take pictures of the sunset.

However the night not so great mainly because they had a wedding reception there and the owners still felt they could conduct business as usual. Well the kitchen was too small and not enough cooks.
