Came to try their Spam Brulee Masubi after hearing a good review and it was worth it. Shoots Ontario is located inside the Rodeo X food center. I ordered their Spam Brulee Masubi, Spicy Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken plate, and the Mint Peach Wave. Their spicy katsu has a good level of kick to it and the spam masubi has a nice hint of sweet to it. Food is good and well seasoned but very pricey. The sauce is really good. Will give it another try when they have promos.

The portions are small for the price. the dishes looked great but tasted subpar... the flavor is inconsistent throughout each bite, some bites were extremely greasy while other bites were very plain. read more

I am from hawaii so when this place opened my coworker recommended it... he highly recommended the spam musubi... unfortunately it was the worst thing i have tasted. if you are a local person this place probably is not for you. the flavors were like they tried too hard. lots of mayo... not my thing. read more

Not bad, the chicken sandwich was great although a bit greasy. I also had the combo meal and I was ok. The rice was dry and the chicken was again greasy. I would not got out of my way but if I happen to be in the area, I'd stop by and hope it was just an off day. read more

First time eat Hawaiian food outside of the normal fast food franchises. And wow I was blown away!!! Got the Chicken Katsu sandwiches and plate. The sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. If you put a Chick-fil-A sandwich and this Katsu chicken sandwich, I'm picking this one. Super flavorful and crispy. I ordered the loco moco and 2 spam brûlée masubi. I did wait 30 minutes for my food to be ready. It was very busy. One part of my order was wrong, but they fixed it right away with no problem. I loooooved the loco moco it was so good! There was the perfect amount of rice for every bite. The patty was tasty and cooked to medium. The gravy really made it special. It was topped with the sunny side up egg, furikake, and green onion. So yummy. I'll definitely come back for the loco moco hehe read more

This place is good, i picked up takeout. But then i arrived home to my toilets and drains over flowing ended up dealing with a plumbing situation for 2hrs. The place is kinda hard to find if you never been to that shopping center before, but you feel better after going inside and seeing 4 giant tvs casting 4 different sports games. I had the Kimchi Buter Katsu Chicken, at first I was kinda disappointed by the price till I felt how heavy the box was and actually started eating. Stopped cuz I seen it advertised in my area and my son loves spam musubi. We stopped just to try the musubi, DID NOT DISAPPOINT! My son said they were like the ones he ate in Hawaii. Went here on a Friday night. Was all new to us. My husband got the short rib plate. Said it was good but too expensive. I got the spam brûlée Musubi and a side of Mac salad. The musubi was so good and definitely worth the price. Want to try the honey coconut shrimp one next time. Was so excited to find a "local" Hawaii style spot! Was super disappointed! The juice we got was spoiled, Mac salad was nothing like it is back home in Hawaii. Not sure if there was Tuna in it but no where did it state it was tuna mac salad, but it was runny and covered in paprika. The short ribs were good had good flavor but after the tuna mac salad everything tasted the same. Musubi was okay but could barely taste the spam which was odd. Serving portion was small for the price. Honestly better off going to an Ono Hawaiian out here in the Inland Empire or just cook at home our local food. read more

We really love Hawaiian inspired food and have been searching everywhere in the IE that does it justice. We'll look no further than Shootz! Their Katsu was BOMB!!!!! The taste I can't even describe how delicious it was you NEED to try it. The spam masubi and macaroni were some of the best I've had in years. I honestly wish I bought more to take home. We had leftovers and ate them for lunch the next day and we wiped our plates clean. We can not wait to go back and try the shrimp masubi and everything else on their menu. One star because I had to. My sister wanted to try this place and I, being a picky eater, decided I would go and just make it work. Ordered a chicken sandwich plain and the cook had a HUGE issue making it. He complained the entire time saying I "didn't have tastebuds". Once they gave me our other food I had them refund the sandwich. I've never seen somebody that upset for how I ordered a meal since they got paid whether it had everything or not. They have the best Hawaiian food and beverages in town. I love this place. I live in Riverside but when I go to Ontario I always stop at Shootz Hawaiian to get my favorite food & beverage. Try it, trust me you'll love it! The only downside is if you call them to place a to go order. There so busy that they won't answer their phone. Which made me think they were closed. So when I arrived to order my food in person I saw that they were still open. The cashier told me that if they don't answer their phone that I can always place a to go order with them through Instagram. So that's great to know. read more

I come here all the time and love the food, but was disappointed with the quality this time. I ordered two chicken sandwiches and both were basically raw. I was really excited to eat here, excited for a good Hawaiian spot closer to home but I would rather stay home and make my own loco moco than get this again. The gravy has some sort of watery tomato taste to it instead of the salty, savory brown gravy that I expect in a loco moco. My partner who has done a lot of traveling to Hawaii, got the jalapeño garlic shrimp and said it has no garlic pieces or garlic flavor in it at all and was not please by the taste of my loco moco either. Quality Hawaiian food hidden in the IE! Friend and I found this small food-court style restaurant as a meeting point for lunch on a Sunday. We were pleasantly taken aback at the atmosphere as well as the food offered here. We ordered the Katsu chicken and the Galbi plate with fried rice. Both were delicious, especially the Katsu chicken! This place is as good as any Hawaiian food place on the mainland. However, you get more for your money at other places. This is over priced while also giving small portions. We had the short ribs, loco moco, chicken katsu, and musubi. Nothing stood out except for the loco moco, and not necessarily for the better. My kid who always gets loco moco said she wouldn't eat this version again. Their drinks are mostly ice and small for the price. On top of all this, the wait for the food was very long. I would only recommend this place if you're just looking to post pictures on Instagram and to be able to say you've eaten here. read more
