Very disappointing!! Normally I wouldn't put a review, however after our experience and then seeing the neighboring table, have a very similar experience definitely worth posting! Went in for lunch wasn't very busy, my husband ordered the swordfish sandwich which was soggy was so much slaw that the entire bun basically disintegrated the worst part about the lunch is that I ordered a sushi roll which came 15 minutes later, and after he had already finished his lunch!? what's the point of going to lunch with your husband if you can enjoy your meal together. Overall, the sushi roll was good. The neighboring table also ordered sushi and had to ask for chopsticks and soy sauce which also took several minutes to receive. I have frequented the Newport Beach location and it has always been amazing. Not sure what's going on at this location? read more

My husband and I recently dined at Shorebird and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The Lemon Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful. For my main, I ordered the Scallops signature dish which was cooked to perfection. OMG the Espresso Martini was hands down the best I've ever had, and my husband couldn't stop raving about the amazing Ribeye he ordered. They should also not be sitting in chairs where diners sit. I don't wanna leave a restaurant with dog hair all over my clothing. I personally love dogs, but would never allow my dog to put its paws on a table or hold my dog above the dining table in a restaurant where other people, possibly people with allergies dine. I personally think it's ridiculous that people need to bring their dogs to restaurants but at the very least the restaurant has a responsibility to the other patrons to keep the animals below the food preparation and consumption areas. I really hope that you guys will address this.
