I would not trust them to fix a lawnmower. I wanted them to check my car out before fixing its AC and a water leak and they didn't even do that right. This place will take advantage of you if you're not careful. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a woman or because I'm not well-versed in cars, but I came in on 9/7 for a timing belt replacement (which I now regret not getting a second opinion on). After I politely declined their overpriced recommendations, my car suddenly broke down. When I had it TOWED back, they claimed there were 8 major issues with my car, amounting to $3,000. Before that, I had never seen a single warning light on my dashboard, but now all the lights were on. I don't want to outright accuse them of sabotaging my vehicle, but that's exactly how it feels--especially considering other similar reviews. Always get a second opinion if you bring your car here! Yesterday, the general manager hit me up about my card. Need to talk to me earliest to my convenience when you took my car to get a oil change. Something else started leaking on my car and I was explaining to them when I brought my car to them. It was not leaking any fluids from anywhere, but Mr. Sean hoopes went in to telling me that my car was 17 years old and what do I expect just because it's 17 years old doesn't mean anything because I take care of my vehicle and when I brought it in there it was not leaking I think that was very rude for him to say and he's bad for business. DO NOT BUY USED CARS FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! THEY'LL SELL YOU A LEMON! I'm still doing research But I'll probably be filing a complaint with the Consumer Advocate at the Attorney General's office about this horrible and unethical experience! In mid January of this year I purchased a used Automatic 2019 Chevy Malibu at 76K mileage from these people. And not even 6 months into owning it, my transmission went out on me and just stopped working while I was driving on the freeway! So I end up getting it towed to the dealership to see what they can do for me, Come to find out I have to pay them almost $6000 out of pocket to replace the transmission, which is not something I can just fork out. I'm a 20 year old college student working a construction job. I was asked if I Purchased a car warranty to help pay for repairs and I wasn't sure because I don't remember my salesman discussing or bringing up anything about warranties. So I looked at my contract and found out that I didn't purchase one, and Gerardo with service told me there's nothing they can do to help me, not even with monthly installments. I was frustrated because he had the audacity to ask if I have Any family I can just borrow $6K from! NO! Not everybody has a support system they can just lean on, not especially for something as major as a new transmission! I really just feel like This dealership took advantage of how young and "dumb" I might be, because I was never told about a car warranty! When the sale was being finalized, my salesman David just told me to sign here and there and that I'm good to go. I've been told dealerships are normally eager to sell those warranties, why wouldn't they it's an extra few grand in their pocket? BECAUSE THEY SOLD ME A LEMON. And I say it's a lemon because when my car broke finally broke down, I realized that it's actually had an issue with the transmission since the first week I bought it! For example I would step the gas, not even pedal to the medal, but my car wouldn't accelerate as fast as I would step on it, even if it was only to get from 0- 35 mph. It would go slow for a second or 2 then it would just start gunning it out of nowhere and it would do that whenever I tried to accelerate too quick, regardless of how fast or slow I was already going. Yes I did tell them about this, when David called me for a 10-day checkup. All he had to tell me was that it was normal and just how the economy mode works and that I wouldn't have to bring it in to the shop, so I trusted him once again even though I know how a car feels when it accelerates, and looking back at it that was not normal at all! So My car has just been sitting at the dealership, I actually have to get it towed out too because they won't work on it Until I come up with the money. And I'm shocked because what kind of shop asks for full payment for something that major in the first place? at the very least Half should be paid to start the work and the other half when it's finished. I might not have concrete proof but doing research, asking around, thinking back on everything since the day I purchased it, they knew my car would break And that I would be back to give them more money! I just feel like they got me good. VERY disappointed as a first-time buyer especially since my life- school, work, etc. REVOLVES around that car. And now I'm paying monthly for a car that's out of commission! While also having to Save up to get it back! Very, very sad. Also disappointed in myself because had I seen how many 1 star reviews this dealership has, I wouldn't have even gotten near it! My review is 100% based on my disappointing experience that I had with Sean Hoopes, Service Director @ Showcase. Sean could use some training around customer experience management and empathy. Imagine I make an appointment on the website and I drive about 30 mins, wait about 90 mins only to be told that they can't get me in. Kevin, the Service Advisor was working hard to do what he could to get me in and I do believe he tried his best with no avail. When Kevin told me that he couldn't get me in (even though I was able to successfully schedule an appointment on the website), I asked to speak with a manager. This is where Sean Hoopes comes over and proceeds to completely fail on customer experience and empathy. I explain to Sean that I made an appointment on the website for 3pm, that I am a very loyal customer (drive 30 minutes to get to Showcase based on loyalty) and that in between my scheduled 3pm appointment time and the 6pm close time that I was at least hoping to have the vehicle diagnosed. At the time that I was having the conversation with Sean it was around 4:30 - so we still had more time before closing time. Rather than Sean attempt to listen to understand, to have empathy and appreciation for the customer, Sean goes into corporate square manager mode and tells me that they can't get me in, that they need more time to diagnose. I proceeded to remind Sean that I am a very loyal customer and that I drove about 30 minutes to get there and then ask again if they could at least diagnose the vehicle - his corporate square manager lack of empathy response was "no, sorry". I then respond with ok, I guess loyalty doesn't mean anything I will take my business elsewhere. He then responds in his corporate square manager lack of empathy response: "If we have been making you happy for this long, I trust that one minor mishap will not ruin the relationship" . This response didn't provide any comfort, if anything it made me more disappointed. The fact that Sean had the responsibility, the authority, the customer obligation and time in his hands to attempt to make things right but choose not to was probably my biggest source of disappointment. It is one thing if I never brought it to Sean's attention he could then say "if I only knew I could have done something about it" but based on my experience it seems as if Sean just does not care about the customer/customer experience. So, obviously I drive away and go to another big Honda Dealership the next day. At this dealership - they were able to diagnose my vehicle in 2 hours and because they did not have the part on hand they gave me a loaner vehicle free of charge while they take their time to fix my vehicle. This experience that I had with the 2nd Dealer is exactly what Sean should have done. Sean could have (if he was leading with a customer first approach and empathy) told me the customer - we appreciate your business and because we are not able to get you in today, we will keep your vehicle and provide you with a free loaner vehicle while your car is being fixed. Recommendation to senior leadership: make sure that Sean and other managers/directors are always striving for a win/win outcome and leading with a customer first and empathy approach. Think about how the customer feels and based on how the customer feels determine the best course of action. If you are the customer does this best course of action feel good? If the answer is no, change course accordingly with a win/win outcome. Showcase Honda: you lost my business forever! Please make sure to get Sean Hoopes, and any/all managers and directors training so that the outcome is a win for the business and a win for the customer while incorporating customer first and customer empathy! Make sure that any and all employees operate in a mode of they are the difference maker, because they are as everything else is a commodity (I can get my Honda fixed at a lot of places but the experience that I have with employees is what determines everything). read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! - I spent 6 hrs in this dealership 2hrs of financing paperwork. They helped me take pictures of the car for insurance & all. Only to call me the next morning to tell me there was an "issue with registration paperwork" Upon my arrival the salesman pretended to have a conversation with me only to take my keys and registration & literally RUN to the back of the employee section. I asked the general manager what was going on & he told me I took the wrong car home & I test drove a completely different car. Which was FALSE I only test drove the car I left with. They lied to me about the reason for coming back in, they threatened to call the cops on me For "Stealing" & MOREOVER handled the entire situation as if it was my fault & I did something wrong. Showcase Honda May 29, 2023 Pedrovalles909 For my first time buying a Car, it was horrible.  On memorial day May 29 2023 Monday i bought my first car. The Car is great for the year and mileage but the staff at the dealership was something. The vehicle had some scratches on it, that I had no issues but they offer to have the Car touched up for free. Was told to bring the Car the next day Tuesday May 30 2023 but the salesmen Granger was not there and was told to come back the next day. I came the next day May 31 2023 Wednesday and was told I need to bring back the the next day. Now it's Thurday and was told to leave the car over night and have them work on the Car on Friday June 2 2023. Now today is Friday and my fmaily goes to pick up the car but they can't find the Car for 30 minutes. Leaving me abd my Family stress about the Car, we had to threaten them about calling the police. They found the Car but the worst thing about this the car was not worked on Same Scatches where there and they did nothing to it. What was the point of me leaving my Car there and they did nothing too it. All that stress and broken promises form our Salesmen Granger and the staff at the Honda Showcase on Camelback. Don't get me started on the second key Granger promised me he would give me at discount for 65 dollars. Worst of all finally when we had the car back and chewed them. They only offer to bring back the car other day for them keep for a day or until Modnay June 5 2023. Also they offer to fill up my car tank but my take was 3 quarter filled. That would be only 10 dollars of gas. F that!. All of this could have been avoided if Granger just sold the car to me and not offer me their services for free or at a discount. read more

These lazy turds sold me a car with old transmission fluid in it. You'd think a dealer charging top dollar for a car would send you off with new/full fluids. They even "inspected" my entire car. A 2019 Honda pilot doesn't have a dipstick for transmission fluid so they skipped it, but made sure to check it off as satisfactory. What a joke. They almost ruined the transmission in this car. HORRENDOUS This is the worst dealership to buy a car, period. I even filed a complaint with the Attorney General because the sales managers did not listen to me. It is all nice and friendly service before you take delivery of the car but after that, they show you how they really are; nasty, unpleasant and offensive. I bought a preowned vehicle and the dealership did NOT allow for a vehicle inspection before delivery, which is one of your rights by the way even it is preowned!!! I was made to sign the paperwork with the finance manager where the paperwork stated that "I had done a vehicle inspection and was satisfied with the car;" because the finance manager promised that even though I was signing everything to get out of there ASAP; they would still do a vehicle inspection with me before taking delivery of the car and IF I did NOT like the vehicle after doing the inspection, I did not have to take the car. Long story short, after I finished signing the paperwork with the finance manager -surprise, surprise: everyone at the dealership had disappeared and all I was given were the keys to the car. Without an inspection, I drove my vehicle home and next thing you know, the bumper had fallen off! I contacted the sales manager, AUSTIN and I texted him pictures of the bumper, AUSTIN said to bring the vehicle in to service. So, I did just that, took the vehicle in for service and Michael Valenzuela said all the bumper needed was a "bracket and clips." They ordered the bracket and I brought the vehicle back the following week. After the service department worked on the bumper, it looked even worse-the lower bumper was loose and still hanging; the fog lights were not even lining up with the lower bumper and there was a HUGE gap between the lower and upper bumper.  Stupid AUSTIN kept trying to make me believe that "bumpers are flexible and that is the way it's supposed to be."  After arguing with idiotic AUSTIN about the bumper not being fixed right, AUSTIN brought another idiot, GREG SPANOS. Kept going back and forth with GREG about the bumper not being fixed right and only made worse.  GREG then finally decided to keep the vehicle and was going to have a third-party work on it. I spent a month trying to get my bumper repaired and all these idiots managed to do was make it worse. GREG ended up making the bumper gap bigger and inserting adhesive in-between the bumpers, GREG even messed up the bumper even more by covering the bumper with black touch-up paint (which did not even match the vehicle's color). During all this time; I called so many times to speak to the General Manager and he was never available [how convenient]. I left messages and the GM never returned my call, it was always dumb and dumber: AUSTIN and GREG that returned my calls. A month went by and they refused to fix my bumper; now with a lower bumper even worse than at first my only option was to file a complaint with the Attorney General. A couple of days later, I received a call from PAM BLACKLEDGE (the controller) regarding my complaint; PAM said they would "professionally repair my bumper" and that I would be dealing with the service director, SEAN HOOPES. Next, I made and appointment with SEAN and we both looked at the vehicle.  We agreed to leave the vehicle at the shop for repair; while I was there I told the service department that the car was vibrating when braking from high speeds; since the vehicle had an extended warranty why not get it fixed at the same time and save a trip?  A few days later, when I picked up my vehicle; yes they replaced the lower-bumper but there were still gaps between the bumpers and the touch-up paint was never removed. In short; the bumper did not look 100% [and yes, even if it is a preowned vehicle, if the job would have been done right, then it would have looked and feel right!] *****As of today, the bumper has fallen apart again and remains hanging and its only been 1.5 month since they worked on it. But that it not all; remember the vibration? The dealer went ahead and resurfaced the front rotors [even though I didn't ask them to].  Now, the brakes are grinding after I release the brake. Again, SEAN and PAM and MICHAEL refused to make this right; they said that brake grinding is normal and that is the way it always is. If it was normal, then the car would do the grinding from the factory, no?  Why wasn't the grinding there at first? I took in the car to get it inspected somewhere else, and they confirmed the resurfacing of the rotors had been done incorrectly and those needed to be resurfaced again; I was also informed that anytime you resurface the rotors you MUST replace the brake pads [which they completely ignored at Showcase Honda and they knew they were doing a bad job].  Of course; Showcase Honda also refused to repair their second mistake. Moral of the story; NEVER purchase a vehicle from this dishonest and trickster dealership. read more

Another update, again for the Service Department. A few weeks ago one of the front headlight bulbs of my car needed replacement. I went to an auto parts place and while they had the lamp, they were unfamiliar with the replacement procedure. Another repair establishment said they needed to remove the wheel, etc to get to the lamp - not what the car's manual says, plus they were going to charge a significant sum for the whole procedure. Finally I brought the car to Showcase Honda Service and they did it in just a few minutes, charging only for the cost of the front headlight lamp which was pretty inexpensive at their parts shop. Today my old battery, which was overdue for replacement, was on its death throes and fortunately I was able to start the car and bring it here. It did not take them long to replace the battery and the cost was pretty typical for a battery replacement. Fast, efficient, courteous service - I definitely like that. read more

Confused about all the bad reviews on here! They have over 4,000 AMAZING reviews on google. Nothing but an incredible experience here from start to finish. I traded in an older vehicle for a used Honda HRV sport and got a super FAIR deal!! I personally worked with Louis on finding the right car for me and he was FANTASTIC!! I never felt rushed even though we test drove several cars and I kept going back and forth. Rocky, Albert and Will (in finance) also helped me during this process and I cannot say enough about these guys!! The customer service was over the top. I was probably offered water 12 times throughout the few hours I was there by numerous employees. Our family has owned Honda for 20 years, but this dealership in particular really didn't live up to the standard I hold Honda to. Jonathan Ciazza promised me a price quote on a new HRV and made me put down a $500 deposit on the car over the phone. When I went to the dealership the next day for the car, I found out that the car that was waiting for me was not the car I had asked for. I felt so deceived, and he had the nerve to act like I was the one being unreasonable by walking out on his "great offer." My major problem with this dealer lies in the finance office. After declining any and all service packages THREE TIMES, the dealer decided to add one anyways and tell me that it was "free". Two problems: It was not free, it was full priced. Two, this is incredibly dishonest and unethical behavior. They were just hoping that since they told me it was free I would believe them and not look at the itemized breakdown of costs. No apologies, no explanation, nothing. Make sure to read everything before signing the dotted line people! Additionally I feel like I should mention this cause I really hate when dealers do this. The advertised price on their site is not what you will actually pay. Make sure to ask for the out-the-door price with a breakdown of all costs/fees cause there will most likely be $4000 in dealer add on accessories that no-one actually wants. Not a good experience for me. I purchased a used vehicle and was told that some of the defects I found would be taken care of by the dealership. Well, now that they have my money, they couldn't seem to care less. I was told that the service department would reach out to me but that has never happened. When I inquired about the status, I got one or two word answers and no follow up whatsoever. So now I have a used truck with a non-functioning turn signal and missing parts. Fantastic. Will never step foot in this place again or any other Berkshire Hathaway owned dealership. Went in today to purchase a vehicle listed at just over $17k. Once we sat down they tried to sell it for $20k, plus additional fees BEFORE tax, title, and license. All together they wanted over $24k for the vehicle. And the sales person said "we just do that to get you in the door". And then claimed "that's all dealerships". Completely disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. It pains me that these business practices have been accepted by others to be able to stay in business. I would never recommend. Their loss, because we were going to be in the market for a second vehicle within a year or less. Turbo on my 2018 CRV failed short of 65,000 miles (8/11/23) at my great expense. 5,000 later 3/1/24 the new Turbo failed and I had to leave it at Findlay Honda in Flagstaff as Devin (Showcase) told me not to drive it. No loaner cars available in Flagstaff on Friday afternoon so had to rent a vehicle for one week before Findlay replaced Turbo again. Had to make another trip to Flag to pick it up. Per Findlay service manager, turbo had been negligently installed w/o replacing oil screen and it failed because starved for oil. No maintenance had been done on the car between the two turbo failures. Findlay replaced turbo at no charge. When I asked Showcase to reimburse my rental ($407) the service manager, Shawn, had every excuse imaginable, suggesting that I (or some other service place) did something to it or that I was looking for a windfall. I conceded knowing that their "warranty" didn't cover a rental, but appealed to him as a matter of fairness and good customer relations to cover it. There is no excuse for a turbo to fail at 65,000 miles much less 5,000 miles. It is highly unlikely that it failed for any reason than negligent installation by Showcase under the circumstances. While the service manager offered some future discount on service, I declined because I am going to get rid of the vehicle as soon as possible. It is bad enough that Honda doesn't stand behind their turbos, but the least they can do is reimburse my rental for the week. I will be contacting Honda Corp next. read more

When we brought it up (we had the entire conversation on the phone) the manager Thomas basically said it's not true and won't sell the car for less than the listed amount. Didn't bother apologizing for his agents mistakes or owning up to it and presenting other options. Basically a big F U to us. my brother in law just said we are done and got up and walked away. I attempted to buy a car here and then I paid a deposit but couldn't leave with the vehicle because they were missing a required part to pass the certified car inspection so Saturday 9/2/23 they said they'd deliver car. They pushed to get my deposit for $4K then pushed to get me to add the car to my insurance: I haven't been able to get to work for days now !! Then I gave them cash and they have to give me a check because they couldn't invest 4mins to drive to the chase bank on the corner. Then I get here to cash the check and they hadn't released the check to positive pay status for me to cash it. I called they. Claimed they released it but have not. Rocky is so unprofessional he is going to tell me to "maybe wait more than 10 secs for the bank system to update!" What kind of head of sales manager are you. Clay was momentarily helpful to get me taken care of at signing but I would not buy there unless they can confirm the car is ready to go and can be driven off the lot. TERRIBLE!!!  Do NOT go here!  If I could give ZERO stars I would. They keep you in the dark, lie, lie, and did I mention lie?  Everything you picture a sleezeball car dealer would do they do it.  They bumped the prices up, even though I was told their was an internet "special" and would give me a discount for my trouble due to a vehicle NOT being on the site?!?  Isn't that illegal?  I had a copy of a Carfax that showed an accident on a vehicle and they tried to lie about that, too! I have read tons of reviews here that have had a similar experience. I would like to look into filing a lawsuit for bait & switch if anyone else is interested? Apparently they are owned by the same group that owns most of that Auto Row on Camelback (per a few of the employees).   Save yourself the wasted time, trust, and $$$ and go to another part of Phoenix to get a vehicle! Today I had the pleasure of working with Gary and his colleague Cedric. They were professional, kind and hardworking. They did a great job helping answer my questions about the car I wanted to buy & did not waste my time when I decided to not purchase the car. The only feedback I have for the dealership is to re-name the fee-proposal section titled "options" to something else. This "optional" charge is not optional and caused me to walk away because the value of the "options" was not worth what the charge was. 5/5 for SALES, Joey was very nice and understanding of our needs. I enjoyed the experience in that regard. 2/5 for FINANCIAL, they care most about maximizing their personal profit (I get it's a business, but meeting us somewhere between invoice and MSRP is how you get lifelong customers). I had initially went in to purchase a new EXL model of a vehicle using AMEX's auto program that took a couple thousand off MSRP. I also used the $500 college grad rebate. I opted for the extended warranty and chose a long 84-month term to keep payments low (with the intention of overpayment to allow wiggle room when needed). During the first negotiations, when going from a 72 to 84 month term, the guy said "we'll throw in chips, dents, scratches and the payment will be $X". When looking over the contract, what was "thrown in" wasn't a free addition but an extra $1500 package we didn't need. We had it removed. When I came back to switch the car to another model due to concerns over the 1.5 engine with known oil dilution issues, I ended up downgrading the trim from the EXL model to the EX model, but the hybrid version ($$1600 more, around EXL MSRP). Being cyber Monday, there was a $1000 off incentive in my email. I was told I didn't qualify for this because I was already receiving a greater discount. I was also told they were removing my $500 graduate rebate because of the length of the loan term. When I mentioned we signed with the rebate before at the same 84-month term, the financial guy said sorry that was a mistake. I ended up paying the base MSRP of the vehicle. No AMEX discount, no cyber Monday $1000 off, no $500 college graduate rebate. There is no real reason I shouldn't have qualified for these with our combined 750+ credit scores and combined finances. I would have been mostly satisfied if at least the $500 college rebate was honored. Another dealership offered the same vehicle $1000 less than I purchased it (too late). I love the car I purchased. However, the financial services team are more interested in us meeting THEIR needs than them meeting our needs and helping us save where we can. I get they need to make money too, but gaining life-long customers means meeting somewhere in the middle. read more

My parents have been customers of showcase Honda for years and we would service our Honda vehicles here regularly. This location use to be clean and well kept, but over the years unfortunately the service quality has decreased. I received an oil change in January and I just got around to checking my oil levels. Unfortunately whoever serviced my car put an extra 4 quarts of oil inside of it. For those who may not know, this is extremely dangerous for your car. It is so sad to see that I can't even trust Honda showcase to complete an easy task such as an oil change. It's safe to say my family and I will no longer be using this to service our Hondas. read more
