Absolute slime balls the salesmen (Victor) that I worked with was amazing, however management here are scammers! First they come to me with an offer that I was ready to walk out with a new car! Then they left for a good 15 minutes when they came back all of a sudden my payment was $3,000 more...I asked them to take the dealership add one off and they said okay! They came back and now my payment was another $1500 more on top of the $3,000. Then they said they test drove my truck that I was planning on trading in and said the air bag light that was on was the reason for all this. I asked them to try to give me some wiggle room and they told me they would make some calls. As they were "making calls" I watched them from the window sit with other salesmen and laugh. I went out to my truck while I waited and switched a fuse on the panel fixing the air bag issue. Major problem my ass! read more

The customer service is TERRIBLE by both sales and service...they really do not care about your needs or how they sold a vehicle to you. I would HIGHLY recommend you don't purchase a car here. It also doesn't sit right with me when a company says "have a blessed day" & they're treating you like crap. I purchased a used vehicle from Showcase. The bluetooth microphone hasn't worked since I purchased the car earlier this month. (Within 30 days of purchase) They refused to take care of the cost of the part and the 30 minutes of labor required to replace it. (All of $300) The used car manager said if it was something major on the vechile they would have considered it but because it's a minor repair they won't. Additionally, I was sold this vehicle without the key to the lock on the rear hitch, making the hitch completely useless and another trip to a dealership to have them cut the lock off. Seems like taking care of something minor to keep a happy customer would have been valuable but apparently not. Don't buy your car here! read more

Went in because I had submitted my info to finance manager "RAY" who told me even tho my credits had he'll make it work. Showed up to have ray ignore my calls and a sales person ask me to pick a car I liked even tho I had spoke to ray prior about what vehicle I wanted! Choose the same vehicle just to be told what I was avoiding "you need a co signer" I gave you my info to run prior to me driving 30 mins to let me know if there was anything that would get in the way of the deal so I wouldn't drive. If you find yourself sitting down in the used sales department at Showcase Honda, and a man named Greg Spanos sits down across from you. Get up and run out of the building. Never have I had someone lie straight to my face about costs and policies, and try and take advantage of my confusion as this man did. Do not trust a word he says. And by all means, don't try and reach him. At one point I immediately returned his call, and my several voicemails went permanently unanswered. What a wonderful feeling to be blatantly ignored by someone who I was giving such a large sum of money to. How incredibly unprofessional, disappointing, and degrading his service was. No matter how much you want the car, just leave. Especially if, heaven forbid, you're using your own financing. Literally no car is worth doing business with this man. What should have been an exciting and huge experience, was absolutely ruined by him and made so stressful and miserable. When I tell people about my car buying experience, the only reaction I receive is shock. Now. Having said that, Sharma was very helpful throughout the whole process. He is the only reason I received the car when I did and the only reason I didn't completely cancel my financing. He drove my vehicle to me when he saw everything I was going through while trying to take it home. He was truly the only honest individual I dealt with during this process. read more

******FRAUD ALERT ******* I do not use the word fraud lightly. If you have leased a Honda and bought out your lease at the dealership, you should check if you were scammed out of thousands of dollars. How it happens: I was nearing the end of my lease and went in to see new vehicles while I was there for a routine maintenance. My car model hadn't changed so I told the salesguy I would probably just write a check and buy out my vehicle. He said he could help with that and asked me if I was willing to do it when I picked up my vehicle from service. I said okay and returned later in the day. I knew what my payoff was from Honda. It was 29k. They came out with paperwork for 33k and said taxes, dealer adds and doc fees. I told them I do not want to pay any adds or doc fees to buy my own vehicle, but I figure everyone has to pay taxes. While the salesman was "negotiating" to get the adds off, I called Honda Financial to see if taxes were included in my 29k payoff. They said YES, it is included and if I write them a 29k check, I will get a deed in the mail with a bill of sale that shows exactly how much of the 29k were taxes.  The breakdown was approximately 29k payoff ( $26,700 principal, $2,300 taxes).  They tried to charge me $33,000 ($29,000 principal, $2500 tax, $1000 adds).  Instead of allowing me to buy out my lease, they were SELLING me my own vehicle at a profit to themselves.  Ironically, my wife had left in the Honda after the maintenance so they were literally "selling" me the vehicle at home in my garage. So in conclusion:  My buyout was $29,000 plus about $400 in registration but they attempted to sell me my own vehicle for $33,000 to make a $3,600 profit for themselves.  It's easy to fall for it because it seems logical to pay taxes and the Honda statement does not indicate that the payoff includes taxes.  These guys have zero integrity and I'll bet there's a long list of their own customers they have scammed. Also done waiting 2 hours for an oil change they told me would be free if I even came to get it serviced there and listened to what they have to say about getting me in a new car. Got there oil change was 60 dollars!? For wasting 2 hours when I WANTED to get it serviced some place else and they talked me into coming back in to pay twice as much. On Monday, February 19th, I called Showcase Honda to setup a service appointment to replace the instrument panel. I was transferred to Caleb. Having had our car serviced there before, he found me in the customer list, then put me on hold to ask the parts department to order the part. He came back in a reasonable time & told me they didn't have the part in stock, so would have to order it. It would take no more than a week to come in. We agreed it would be best he call me when it comes in. The following Tuesday, February 27th, no call from Caleb so I called him. He forgot he was supposed to call me. He put me on hold while he called the parts department to check the status of the part. He returned & told me it's still not there yet. That it would be best if I go in so he could associate my account with the part, ensuring that no one else got the part. I said I couldn't make it in until Friday, March 1st. Friday, ~15:00, I go in. Caleb is on the phone, so Cathy, a female service advisor who has a desk near Caleb's asks me if she can help me. Major attitude when asking me if she can help that only gets worse as we talk. She looks at my record, can't find anything, & tells me that clearly the parts department is where I need to go. I go to the parts department, & they can't find any record of ordering the part either, so I return to Caleb's desk. Cathy sarcastically asks me if I couldn't find the parts department. I retorted as strongly "Yea right! I couldn't find the parts department" and turned away from her. Caleb gets off the phone and looks for the order. He then tells me I didn't need to come in after all. He could associate the part with my account. He couldn't find the part being ordered, so he called parts to confirm. When done, he tells me that the part has not been ordered. I then state that he didn't need to have me come in, but didn't tell me, & most of all, in the past ten days, he never ordered the part! He said "Yes, that is correct. We would need you to buy the part beforehand." I ask him why he didn't tell me that ten days ago. Without apologizing, he shrugs it off & asks if I would like him to order it now. I said "No way. I will go to another Honda dealer." I then walk over to the service manager's desk, and ask him, Shawn Hoopes, if I may speak with him outside. I tell him all that's gone on then lightly touch him on the shoulder in the manner that suggests "good job buddy." He says "Don't hit me.[1]" I said "I didn't." He said 'You did." At that point I told him he's permanently lost a customer, got in my car & drove away. read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!! All started off great, I paid full asking price and called ahead asking for the paperwork to be started so I wouldn't have to sit in the dealership for 6+ hours. I arrive and all was set to go. They promised to fix the scratches and the broken window. At that moment everything was great. I walk out and realize they tacked on an extra $5k is things that were not placed the car window and never addressed to me in detail other than a sign here and it wasn't even the correct downpayment / loan breakdown. Even by the financing dept. it wasn't addressed. The managers threatened to unwind the deal when I came in to ask why the $5k was never disclosed to me. In an effort for them to accommodate me and get me off their sales floor they promised a new key ( which I didn't know there was only one , on a Maserati!!! Until I went to drive off) and an oil change. The salesman Albert, who promised everything the whole time(a yes man), repeatedly lied when confronted infront of his bosses about the $5k being explained to me. I have pages of texts messages of him saying he will get the key and scratches done. It's now two months, multiple calls and texts to Albert and both used car managers and nothing. Straight to voicemail and zero reply. So in my response, here is my review of the most dirty dealership I have ever had to deal with, not to mention the mess they made of titling my car in the wrong state and costing me over $600 more. I bought a used Honda Civic 2013 and it looks great but I've barely had the car for a month and I already had to get work done on the AC because a weird smell started coming out of it(which was not there when I test drove it), and I've already had to replace the battery as well. I could give 0 star because of horrible treatment from Devon service manager. Very mound when talking drawing attention and basically forcing me to leave without answering questions. He refused to explain what was done to my car and told me to drive off as my car was lined up to leave telling me to go home and call back. No records of my request for my car service, wasted my time telling Austin what needed w be fine if my concerns I had for review, when I hit there after a long drive from Gilbert, workers didn't know what I was there for refusing service as Austin did not make notes for follow up. Very rude customer service, ill treatment for customers. I work for the state gov. Totally wrong treatment with lies and lies, Devon told me they don't look at tire pressure with oil change and me to come back. Devon was very loud when talking telling me to call with questions and ask what service was done . Safety issues at this location!!! Authorities need to investigate this place. Staff racist and sexist. There was a guy behind my car honking continuously for my car to be removed, Austin told me to leave, Devon got in my car driving itradically and screeching tires , drove to the parking lot , without telling me if my wobbly tires were looked at. I called the staff to protect me from the maniac but Austin did not come and just waived and no staff helped. The African American staff finally came to talk to the maniac driver who was honking. Then I had another separate appointment to get tired " checked ", the African American service dealer told me that all my car tires were deflated to look at and the mechanic forgot to put air back at the capacity of 35, instead he put it to 29. Earlier I had told Austin that I was going to drive to California and to see if pressure was at correct amount, he said it was ok and told me to leave, I couldn't drive back home safely and had to return to showcase Honda only to find out Austin lied the mechanic had to put correct amount of air. read more

The experience I had at this dealership started out terrible, but ended on a pleasant note. I was getting my previous car serviced at Chevy next door and decided to walk over to Honda to look at a 2020 accord sport. My husband was with me and if we found a car we liked, he was going to be the one to buy it. Julia, the best sales person ever, was the first person out the door to help us. Other sales people just looked at us and did not try to help. We ended up finding a really nice accord sport and decided to go for it. Most of the paperwork was completed (not the financing paperwork yet) and the car was almost ours. My husband does not have a valid license due to a DUI and it states that on his license. That does not matter, because he will never drive the vehicle and I will be the only insured driver. He was just purchasing the vehicle for me. Before going into the financing managers office, he came up to my husband and started questioning him about his license. My husband asked if there was an issue with it and the deal, but the finance manager exclaimed there was no issue. Then another manager came over and started questioning him about the license as well. Long story short, the deal fell through. Why was this issue not dealt with before his credit was ran? We should have been notified as soon as it was seen that his license was not valid. I left angry, but stayed in contact with Julia. I ended up finding someone else to help me with the vehicle and I went back the next day to purchase. Attention to detail is everything. Also, the main manager, I believe his name is Gustav (or something like that) is incredibly rude. I understand you want to make sales and cut straight to the point, but you need to learn how to mask the aggressiveness. The people who bought the car for me, also purchased a newer vehicle themself. Gustav was extremely pushy and rude to them, which is insane. They just purchased one vehicle from you and were about purchase a second all in a matter of a few hours. Lastly, I had to work that night and needed someone to follow me home in my new vehicle. I did not trade in my previous car and did not want to just leave it at the dealership. The original plan was for Julia to follow me home and I'd give her a ride back. Those plans changed when my accompanying party decided to purchase a vehicle through Julia as well. Gustav basically threw a fit and tried to appoint another salesperson to help the people who came with me. The way he acted towards Julia was absolutely disgusting, and if I ever had someone treat me that way, I'd walk out. If it was not for Julia, I would have never purchased from this dealership, regardless if it had my dream car or not. Thank you Julia for making this experience awesome!!!!! read more

Despite my cynicism about car dealerships and service departments - I am really happy with the service at Showcase. I ALWAYS work with Izad in the service department (I won't see anyone else to be honest because Izad is so great). He is super accommodating with my hectic schedule, arranges courtesy cars for me when needed, explains everything very clearly to me and is honest about what DOES and DOESN'T need to be done immediately on the car. I know that the money for car dealers is in the service departments, and I think Showcase has invested in making it clear to customers that servicing is their priority. I had the pleasure of making my deal with Terry Wild, I told him my situation, my down payment amount and where I wanted to be at with my payments...his response, " no problem" and he actually made it happen. I have never had such an enjoyable vehicle purchase the entire time I have been driving or buying cars (over thirty years). Terry Wild and his staff were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and used no high pressure tactics on me or my wife during the few hours I was there to complete my purchase. Terry and the Service Manager David Neely kept Showcase's word on the "we owe" for my head light and spare tire and it was done in a timely manor. If in the future I should need another vehicle or my friends or neighbors need a vehicle I will recommend highly Showcase Honda. My car wasn't new but was impeccably detailed and clean with low, low mileage... The Finance Manager was also professional and offered, not pressured options I might be interested in, I opted for gap insurance ( thank goodness for this ) and a 36,000 mile limited warranty that covered the major components of my vehicle. Sales man was competente to say the store sells broken vehicles and works the repair cost into the price. The price is already including additional fees on top of fees for claims of dealer repairs. Buyer beware. Do not shop this location. The entire row of lots on camelback are the same owner. Don't waste your gas to see a damage vehicle being sold at retail price and they won't negotiate. The sales manager said they will never lose money to make it right and will sell a lemon car which is illegal but he didn't care. I hate and loathe car shopping and that is the only reason I held onto my 2007 Honda Civic for this long. I am impressed with Honda Civic and promised to get another Civic if and when I absolutely have to get another car. 11 yrs and 170,000 miles later, it was time. Jonathan Chiazzo (aka Cheese) in sales made the whole process almost enjoyable, certainly tolerable. When negotiating the price and upgrades, he gave us no hassles, only "lets make it happen" attitude. The only negative part was in financing department when things took sooo long with all the papers and signatures which is to be expected but to top it off, we were met with a huge negative attitude when we turned down the extended warranty. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth about the whole buying experience. Thank you Jonathan for taking good care of us. Horrible car buying experience thus far. These sales people will use the typical dishonest sales tatics on you. There is a reason why this dealership has low ratings. We met David who was pleasant at first up until negotiations. He warmed us up indicating that this particular weekend was not a good sales weekend, that we were one of the first few people to come in this morning and he would be willing to negotiate a good price for us. Implying that we have an advantage and he would be willing to work with us. When we started negotiating price, he presented the opposite of a good deal and his personality did a complete 180. He started becoming aggressive, argumentative, incredibly rude and unprofessional. He made an unnecessary comment. I was so shocked and asked why he was being so rude and he spat back he observed "a look and a smirk" which he completely misread. It was so unprofessional and unexpected, I just walked out. This negative experience gives me the incentive to write this review. I've been to other dealerships in the valley who treated potential clients with more respect than this. I'm leaving a review here because I have never been treated this way before and to warn people about this place. read more
