So I have old Honda Element that I take here for service, I had an oil leak fixed. At some point after that I realized that all the screws/clips on the front cowl that goes under the engine are missing. Almost like they were removed and never put back on? This is my 2 nd review on the same Tahoe 2021. Yes they replied after my review Sean called me we scheduled a service appointment. I again had to take more time from work to take it. Dan assisted me there very nice gentleman. Again nothing was wrong with the car. I told them that oil and fluids were not topped off when I purchased the truck so they did that " AT NO CHARGE " lucky me. Took my truck exactly 1 month from the day I purchased it. 2 lights came out a few days later I called back Sean called me I explained he said take it back again. I told him I was not comfortable taking my truck back so they can just send it to Chevy and keep my truck for 3-4 days he said. He was getting agitated with me I don't think they can relate to this horrible experience I am going through. And I have 4 more service light that came out over the weekend!!! Earlier in Year 2024, I had Showcase Honda polish my headlights, as the light covers were foggy and were obstructing the headlight beams. Aboit 3 months later, when the cloudy steamy covers returned, I was very disappointed. I tried to handle this issue with Service Advisor Robbie, who told me that most repairs are guaranteed for a year. However, in my case, the work was not guaranteed nor warrantied. I asked politely if Showcase Honda could stand behind their work, and I was told, "No" by Robbie and by the Service Manager. A $10 discount was offered to me if I had the work done a second time, but I respectfully declined. As Showcase Honda realizes, they just lost a good customer. What a pity. We had a very weird and mixed experience at this location. I accompanied my nana with going to this location as we found a vehicle that perfectly fits what she's been on the hunt for months! We were excited and met with Ismael who was really nice! He spoke like a friend to my nana but very clearly and helpful. I did start asking questions about how much the car was bought for and what I saw in KBB. Ismael brought over some one named "Moose". Immediately the tone changed. He came over and did not introduce himself he kicked back in the chair, arms folded behind his head, knees on the desk "what do you want to know?" I asked the same questions and he scoffed as if he was not taking me seriously and said "none of that matters" huh????? If I'm seeing the KBB says something specific (mind you, they literally had signs everywhere about how they use KBB) and the only response I get is that doesn't matter? He continued to be so arrogant saying he has the best sales rate in town for used vehicles but would not review the KBB with me, until I showed him what I see. When you go into a car dealer you expect to bargain and share info, he made us feel so intimidated and uncomfortable. A white man telling two Hispanic women "none of that matters" and showing body language as if we simply did not matter was so belittling. I just bought a car at Bell RD Toyota and had a completely difference experience. I immediately complained to Tony and Rocky. They were super nice and I appreciate their efforts to make the experience better. However, Moose made us feel discriminated against, belittled, and intimidated. Went to Showcase Honda to get a extra key. Was greeted as I stepped out of my car by a worker who took me inside. Richard E. York greeted me and I told him I needed a spare key for my car. He said it would take 90 minutes and had me sign a contract to make the key. He took me to the waiting room and took my car to the back. The waiting room has AC and there are abundant seating. Richard came to retrieve me within 31minutes. Richard told me the cost was $3.00I, I gave him my credit card and got the new key. When I got home I noticed that the bill was actually $256.56. Although the new key not only has access to the vehicle but also had a lock release on the key. I didn't have before. He should have told me the truth. They charge a ridiculous diagnostic fee for every issue you want looked at instead of an overall diagnostic fee like other service shops. No you dont want a used car the interest rate is too high and we'd have to go through a credit union (um isn't that what I want?). And to lease put as much money down as possible for a lower monthly. EVERYTHING was to make us as broke as possible and them as rich as possible. On top of it they wanted to run my credit right there so I get a hit. I am so disgusted thinking we could trust people here. All I can say is learn everything you can about leasing and purchasing a vehicle before walking into this place of vultures because they are NOT in your interest AT ALL. Bought a used 2017 explorer from them, shortly after purchase felt car was having transmission issues. Brought to their service department. My service advisor Cassie said was just engine mounts, so I had them do the repair. A few months later same issue but now worse, vehicle shaking. They said other mounts needed to be replaced. So they did. Several months later same issue returned. Kassie told me they were not equipped or qualified to diagnose and repair a ford and I should go to ford dealership. I did, they replaced torque converter and other transmission parts. My third party warranty was denying claim on engine mounts now because showcase had already replaced them. I escalated situation to Sean the "service manager" he was arrogant and very rude, telling me I should have never brought the vehicle somewhere else even though I was advised to by his employee Cassie. I escalated situation to his boss who claimed to be dealership manager, he was nice at least but did nothing to remedy the situation. I was left to cover the cost of engine mounts myself after purchasing warranty they sold me and paying them to repair them once. They don't stand behind their work and blow you off unless they are trying to take more of your money. Sean is a total POS and should be fired immediately. Upon arriving home, I realized that it was actually TWO separate top-tier plans (hard to figure out, as I was not provided any paperwork for the sale via hard copy or email, and to this day STILL haven't received anything) and that I was being charged what I believe is an excessive amount for them. No problem. I returned to the dealership the next Monday to cancel the plans, as is my right. Fernando had me fill out a form and sign it, but specifically asked me to not date it. He then asked me to return on July 17 (after my first payment was due) to date it and complete the process. That sounds extremely fishy, but I said OK. After I returned home I thought more and more that things still just didn't sound right, so the next day (Tuesday) I called the warranty company and cancelled directly. They told me the dealer had not yet submitted the paperwork (and they sounded a little mystified about not receiving it yet) and said they would reach out to the dealer themselves and get the paperwork, and to please give them a couple of days. Sure. I called back later in the week, and they had completed the process with no issues. Why couldn't the dealer have done so directly? This is the third higher-end car in a row I have purchased from Showcase, and I have used their service department exclusively for all of them (Devin Suzuki is a wonderful service advisor). I had inquired about a used Mustang that was advertised for sale, I went and looked at it on a Sunday near their closing time and told the salesperson I wanted to respect their time and just take a look at the car physically, I didn't need to drive it. I got a call on Tuesday from one of the sales managers asking if I would like to trade in my Mustang key for key, he explained to me about some tax rebate. I told him I wouldn't take less than 40k for my car and he told me "not to worry about it". I show up with my car and mind you I am trying to keep miles off it for the next owner, only to find out the person I made an appointment with already headed home. I drove the car and could immediately tell the clutch was shot. It will show on the carfax that dealer did a transmission flush only. Whoever is interested in this car, I highly advise you have them replace the clutch or negotiate the cost of a clutch replacement and take it off the price of the car. When we got back to the showroom, the salesman I was working with simply told me, "Yeah there's no way this is going to work." Didn't even offer to negotiate or show numbers. I understand science is politicized, but business are best served just following recommendations. Most of the people were inside with no face coverings. While my salesman wore his mask consistently in my presence, including on test drives, he seemed the limited exception. I ultimately realized I didn't want a Honda or a SUV in the end, and they only bothered me once after I left, so I appreciated that. First of all, I want to say my salesman Isaiah was great. I didn't have a problem with him. I've purchased 2 cars in the past, not from here. I decided to purchase one from Showcase because they had exactly what I wanted. The problem I had was in finance with a man named Trey. I don't know who the f does the training for finance, but definitely needs to change how they go about things. I was quoted 390 for my payments which was a little higher than what I paid for my old car, but I agreed to it. We get into finance and he has this whole speech about some warranty package for 5 years and when I told him I didn't want it, he was asking me how I could say no to that when I have children and when I was on my phone is asked me who I was texting to get off my phone and I was speaking to my father who also advised me to deny the warranty and then he said "what, is your dad going to pay for all your maintenance if something goes wrong" mmm yes he is actually and does. Also it's a Honda so after I said I didn't want it, he should've just listened to me. He also made weird comments about my friend who came along with me about if we were a couple and how we haven't done anything and that he's just my friend. He was very persistent and if I said I didn't want something just give me the paper to sign and be done with it. Next, I explained throughly what I wanted done to replace my car keys and not pay extra since I have another one on hand. The service department ignored & gave false information to where I MUST pay $320 with guarantee I didn't have to. In addition, they charge for storage for your vehicle. The service department is very unreasonable, lacks in understanding for young women that live alone and are in college, and deem matters to be reviewed on their OWN time.
