The vegetable selection was lacking though. I like a bowl with mostly vegetables, and there weren't that many to choose from. The asparagus and corn were frozen, and the fresh broccoli was not fresh. I tried to select the freshest of the broccoli but it still tasted old and bitter after cooking. I liked the selection of sauces, as well as the suggestions. I tried a milder recipe the first time, and when I made a smaller second bowl o tried some of the spicier sauces. The grill employees were friendly and did a nice job. I didn't have to wait to have my food grilled but I can see how if the restaurant was busy it might take some time. Overall a good first visit. The only disappointment was the selection and quality of the available vegetables.

I like their braised pork, eggs and tomato, and fried chicken. I've pretty much had everything they serve there before so I'm used to it. Also, even though the bowl seems medium sized it is so filling since they pack it down, and it's only 12-13 bucks! It's big coming from someone who can down an entire pizza! The value for the food is great. They're open late which is something I like, and it has a very hole in the wall feel. The people working there don't speak English though, and usually you just have to point at what u want (what my friends did who didn't speak Chinese). My only complaint is that they do seem to have a lot of salt in their food, more than more higher end Chinese places I've been too so u get really thirsty.

It was not a big deal for me but if you're dining in expecting full service, this may be disappointing for you. Overall the food was delicious and the albiet mediocre service was enough for me to come back and enjoy some more dishes in the near future. Also! You walk through a series of gluten-free options starting with a base of greens, rice or noodles. (The noodles are made of sweet potato's.) then you select from a series of warm options, cold options and finish with a protein. Price is dependent on the protein selected. My server, Alan, walked me thru the options to build my custom bowl. The bowl is ready in less than a minute! I selected a lettuce base with chick pea curry, Brussels sprouts, a fabulous pickle onion, kimchi, carrots and topped the bowl off with Korean bbq made from beef brisket. The ingredients were flavorful with varied degrees of spicy heat. The spice levels were perfect for me without added sauce. The curry was tasty and the bbq was tender and juicy. I loved my bowl. I especially liked being able to select ingredients that fit my diet. The dining area has an upscale vibe with six long tables. There were fresh flowers on the tables, probably from last week's grand opening. The dining room is clean and tidy. The manager came over to my table to chat and see if everything was ok. On Monday's, they offer special pricing on Meatless bowls. There was a kid's menu, as well. If you sign up through their App you can get a free bowl and receive other offers (I opted out). I did have issues finding my way into the tiny strip mall. There is a single narrow entrance in the back that also serves as the exit.

We had to order at a kiosk, but we were happy to see that all of our old favorites were still on the menu. For appetizers, we ordered the steamed dumplings and the lettuce wraps. The amount of dumplings we received was perfect for our party of four, and there was more than enough chicken and lettuce for the lettuce wraps. One thing I loved about the wraps was that the lettuce was fresh and crispy, giving each bite a satisfying crunch. We ordered way too much food for dinner, but it was all delicious! I had the chicken fried rice, and since my favorite part is always the fried egg, I appreciated the abundance of fried egg in the dish. The rice was a little too overly-sauced, but it didn't taste sticky or gummy at all. My sister tried the honey sesame chicken for the first time, and she loved it. My mother had the pad Thai (which I forgot to take a picture of--whoops!), and she appreciated that she could choose her spice level and that the noodles were very flavorful. One of my father's favorite dinners is Mongolian Beef, and the Mongolian Beef from Asian Grill did not disappoint. The beef was tender and juicy, and he enjoyed the meal at the "medium" spice level. On the way to the restaurant, my father was raving about the chicken noodle soup, so of course we had to order some! Unfortunately, we were too full to even try the soup, but we got a takeout container that we can reheat at home. Asian Grill offers Pepsi products, and the drinks were very expensive. One cup was over $3, and the bottled sodas from the fridge were around the same price. My reason for rating Asian Grill a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is because of the atmosphere. The upholstery is ripping off the seats of the booths, we had to use plastic utensils instead of real silverware, and the floors were dirty. We also had to bus the table ourselves. Overall, Asian Grill is not what it used to be, but it is still a good option for Chinese food in Noblesville.

Gifts of peace and low prices are the sweet reward of other's inability to enjoy the gritty side of life.
