I am so disappointed. I saw that was a 3.5 stars but decided to try it out anyway because many elites rated it as 4 or 5 stars. First off, the prices were not what the banner says on the front, $21.95 for adults. It's actually $23 +tax per adult. Second, it's an all you can eat MEAT restaurant. That means no steamed egg, no soups, no seafood pancakes, nothing. I told myself to suck it up and stop being so picky but the banchans were HORRIBLE. They served is 5: bean sprouts were bland, kimchi was okay, fish cakes were flat and flavorless, salad was also flavorless and watered down from I guess the lettuce being washed previously, and mac salad was okay. Third, if you give me limited meats and terrible sides, I will be content with my dinner as long as I have a good sauce. Nope! The oil was made from vegetable or canola oil, not even the tasty sesame seed oil. How the heck can I enjoy my beef with that kind of oil?! Fourth, service was terrible. We were seated rather quickly but we had to always ask for refills on all our sides, meats, water, and grill change. Plus those refills took way to long. I don't usually write one star reviews for restaurants, but it was such a terrible experience. If you are looking for unlimited cheap cuts of meat and no sauce, this is your place. I personally like the full kbbq experience with good banchan, at least semi-nice cut meats, sesame seed oil dipping sauce, and good service. Sadly, I didn't receive any of the above. Got here at 2 AM, online said they were closed at 4. Walked in, only one table there, the workers were counting money on one of the tables like they were ready to close. When asking for a table for 3 I IMMEDIATELY got attitude. My son and his friends decided to eat at Sikdorak last week. They went during lunch time since it was slightly cheaper than dinner. The server hardly came by to refill their water much less for anything. The bill came and they were charged for the dinner prices. Rather than complain about the incorrect charge, they decided that would be the servers tip since she wasn't good. As they were leaving, they were stopped by the same server and was told they needed to leave more money for tip. I was like WTH?? These are young kids and she barely did anything. Much less she charged them the wrong price. That is crazy. I told them no establishment can tell you to give them more money for tip. That's horrible. Sidorak is my #1 all time favorite late nite AYCE meat lovers restaurant! I have gone a few times recently with Elite PFC on late nite meat seeking cravings.They have a decent sized parking which is usually not full but you must still pay $1 with validation. The meats are never ending but I typically just order the ribeye. The price also includes several side dishes like kim chee, green salad, potato salad, etc. Another great thing is that this place is BYOB so you can drink your good stuff while eating till you get the meat sweats. The only bad thing about this place is ventilation or lack of it. It can get really smoky when its busy but you cant beat the price. Reservations are not accepted so later is better. Great family place, good food, service is reasonable for only having one serve, but the quality of food is the most important and they meet the standard. Enjoyed ourselves very much and glad we found this place. Hoping to have a chance to check out other restaurants and dessert shops in this little private alley next time. This was my first time here and also my first time trying beef tongue. Yakiniku was about $20 all you can eat per person. Me and a couple of friends went to eat in the evening time for a late dinner. Before getting there, we had to wait quite awhile on a Saturday night because it can get pretty busy. Parking was kind of tight because of the compact parking lot. Just be careful if you have big cars... I would have to say that being in a group of four and eating to our hearts content was one of my best nights ever. Non stop meat for days! Not to forget about the side dishes, those were my favorite part. They had two different dipping sauces to go along with your meats. I've enjoyed both sauces which were a sesame seed oil and salt base and another was like a mixed soy sauce. We went to eat dinner here on Monday and got food poisoning. We made sure to cook everything and ordered beef and pork options only.

This place was terrible..The fire was so weak that all the meat took forever to cook. It literally took 10 mins to cook 6 pieces of meat and there were three of us, so we were able to each eat two pieces of meat every ten minutes. Even after asking the servers several times to move us, we had to wait another ten mins for diff open table. After moving tables the fire was a LITTLE BETTER but still weak. We did not get any apology or compensation for the horrible service or broken grill. It's almost as if they set the grill on low on PURPOSE SO THAT THE MEAT TAKES FOREVER TO COOK, which makes eating impossible. I don't recommend this place to anyone. We didn't see any Koreans eating while we were there. No wonder. Most of the meat looked like good quality but because it was cooked on low heat over a LONG PERIOD OF TIME, all the meat was tough and chewy. No grill or char marks on the meat whatsoever because the fire was so low. I wanted to stand up and leave but because a good friend recommended the place we reluctantly stayed. I was born and raised in Korea (and also lived in CA and VA) and I have never, in my entire life eaten at such a terrible Korean bbq. Even though it took over 10 minutes to cook six little pieces of pork but they had a rule on the wall said "All the customers have to eat and leave in 90 minutes." this is the worst ALL YOU CAN EAT KOREAN BBQ. Another thing is, most Korean BBQ places change your grill plate after each marinated meat because the sauce burns the plate. The server here did not change our plate but instead came over to our table and LOWERED THE HEAT without even saying anything. I raised the heat AGAIN after he left because the meat was not cooking. He came back and repeated this twice in a rude fashion. The service was crap and the experience was crap. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that this place is good. Stuck on three stars, not quite two but not four. It has its ups and downs. I'm convinced it's more the company than the food, but here I am back again. This place still has pretty good food (fried mandoo is bomb), but most of the meat all was stuck together and service felt unwelcoming. I say go to Sidorak 2 if you can. Maybe it's because Sidorak 2 is a different crowd? The staff does check on you to change out the grill and to get more food. Didn't have to press the call button. Sometimes the wait is long though. It's a small restaurant and I know space is limited. I've waited two hours before. The wait didn't make it any better. Meat is seasoned well. Sides are standard. The potato was interesting. But they have the front doors wide open, so i guess there is enough ventilation from that. My friend and I were feeling a light lunch, so we ordered bone soup and cold noodles to share. The bone soup is really good, I added some of the salt mix they have on the tables and it tasted even better....The cold noodles were a little bland, i wish they put more radish and cucumber in it. but we put some hot mustard/vinegar in it, along with some kim chee and spicy radish kim chee. I went early like 9am wanting to try the cold noodle but they don't serve that until 12-5pm. Bummers. So I tried seafood noodles with fried mandoo which were both good. I also ordered take out: kimchee pancake and 2 piece kalbi for $5.95. I love the price at this restaurant. I didn't get all you can eat meat for $19.99. My main complaint was when we went to pay and we left the tip we wanted, the attendant circled the highest tip amount. We waited for a table that was open in the back because they added a chair to the table and we didn't want to block the small walk way. I imagine if there's a line, it can take a while. To be honest, i loved my korean bbq experience here. Did a lunch for $16.95 and it was super worth it. Meats are fresh, kimchee so so authentic. One of the reasons i keep coming back here is the sauce! Ugh i always mix it with the rice. We ordered gochuchang pork belly (i love the marinated meat), pork belly, brisket, steak, spicy pork and bulgoki. We did 2 rounds of meat and we were so full. Staff is great, very friendly. But one thing we didn't know is that the side dishes (kimchee, bean sprouts, seaweed kimchee etc.) weren't eat all you can, we got charged separately.l would definitely go back again! Great place for your fill on meats and rice! I recently heard that sikdorak went under a renovation and I have been wanting to go! They got new grills that are round (used to be a rectangle) and they got new tables with some flower etching on it. After their renovation they also got some new meats!! I believe their new meats are Ju Mul Leog (mixed meat? it's almost like cut up filet mignon that's a little seasoned), thin pork belly (YUMMY), spicy pork steak and gochujang pork belly. Everything is available ready for you on their table, especially the sauces. That's quite important for me since I love the sweet soysauce that every KBBQ place gives. I refilled my sauce at least 3 times and I would've felt bad if I had to keep asking. Ordering is really easy, you just choose the meats you want and they just serve it to you! The lady who works here is super nice and attentive. We also came when it wasn't busy (around 6pm). The guys who work here are a little more care free and as long as you ask them they will get anything for you. I've never had bad service here! Their side dishes vary day by day, I remember they used to always have mac salad but not the day I went. They had shoyu potato though so it was still great!
