I will state that the waiter we had for New Years (name escapes me) was awesome. He was really personable and attentive. We always come here when passing through Flagstaff on our way to Phoenix, and are never disappointed! This evening I had the Turkey and Brie Melt (a Turkey sandwich on toasted Sour Dough, with melted brie, apple, water kress and bacon jam) with apple cole slaw. My wife had a Honey Smoked Salmon salad (great smoked salmon, romaine hearts, water kress, red potato, capers and honey dijon mustard dressing). Ok where to begin? When we booked our reservation the lady told us they weren't offering in house dining at the restaurant due to Covid. We actually already knew that because we stayed at the hotel in July and it was the same so we weren't surprised. So, tonight we called to order take out to eat in our room. It was 7:50pm and apparently they close at 8pm. On a Saturday night over Labor Day weekend. So ridiculous! However when I called I could hear quite a bit of noise in the background. Anyway, since they were closing soon, we ordered two simple house salads and one piece of chocolate cake. That's it! The total? $29.00!!!!! The girl taking our order sounded a bit annoyed by our late order. It wasn't like we ordered a steak or pasta. We ordered side salads and a slice of cake. Still she said it would be about 40-45 minutes. My husband gets back to the room and tells me they were super busy there with people sitting inside eating. Funny since they lady checking us in repeated what was said when I booked, that they were only open for take out and room service. Anyway, my husband pulls out the food from the bag and there staring at us are two extremely sad side salads shoved into tiny little plastic to go containers. Lettuce, shredded carrots, two cucumber slices and two cherry tomatoes at $8 each. Accompanied by packaged Kraft ranch dressing. Totally pathetic and cheesy. It was so difficult to eat them since they were so shoved into the tiny containers. Every time we tried to fork out a bite the salad would go all over the place. Then....... the ridiculous $8 slice of cake. Boring, with canned frosting and microscopic in size with the tip of the slice missing. Not good at all and the frosting had that funky Betty Crocker taste. All in all, an Uber disappointment. Will not order again. On a side note, Little America is sooooo beautiful and the rooms are really nice. The grounds are super nice and the front lobby is so cozy and decorated in a nice southwest motif. The staff is very friendly. It's our second time here and we will definitely stay again. But we'll eat elsewhere. read more

We did room service for COVID-19 protection and I ordered the pasta bolognese. The menu stated the pasta was smothered in bolognese sauce. My order consisted of 98% pasta and 2% sauce. At $20.00 a serving plus a 20% required gratuity for room service delivery, this is a disgrace! We love Little America in Flagstaff, AZ. We will never do dinner here again. But we highly recommend the hotel accommodations. Please keep in mind that this is a historic pandemic and frequent changes affect quality of restaurant efforts. Staffing can be greatly compromised and so can quality. I believe pre pandemic times, the food was excellent here. This may be temporary issues, so please be patient. Outside of the restaurant, this is thee only hotel we will stay as guests. It is exceptional service and professional friendly staff. The rooms are clean and beautiful. It's their busiest season and they ran out of bread pudding at 7. You'd think bc they have an ongoing event (North Pole experience) that they'd be fully stocked. Also trying to order a plain Sunday for my daughter. I ended up having to send it back 2 times bc they couldn't put plain vanilla and whip cream in a cup. Also ordered Buffalo wings and they didn't even toss it in the sauce, they sent it on the side. I didn't even eat them bc one of the wings was raw. I ended up ordering Taco Bell, which I never eat, but apparently I'd rather sh** myself then eat raw chicken wings not tossed in the sauce! read more

Usually I never leave reviews unless I feel strongly about the service. Was really excited to try since it's connected to the hotel. Coming from out of state was hoping for a friendly environment. However servers gave off an annoyed attitude, did not feel welcoming and hardly no attention to any of the tables even though it was not busy. We opened the silverware to see stains asked for a new one and all had stains it looked the the servers just re wrapped the old silverware without proper cleaning. Food was below average did not meet my expectations. I ordered a salad and enchilada soup that tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. Definitely needs improvement. This place is very cute and reasonably priced. Most restaurants attached to hotels are crazy expensive and this one isn't. I got the smashed avocado toast and they worked with me to make my dish vegan at no extra charge. The waitress was wonderful and the food was good. We stayed in Little America hotel for 2 days and had dinner at Silver Pine twice. One star is for the drink and appetizer, and one star for the atmosphere. Here is my experience. Day 1: Ordered beer, wings from happy hour menu, and salmon, meatloaf and fish & chips as entree. - Local beer is great; - Wings are delicious, cooked perfectly; - Salmon is ok, but when paired with rice and green beans without much seasoning, it tastes very bland; - Fish & chips is ok ; - Meatloaf is way overcooked. The outside is hard, when I use a fork to knock it, it sounds like I am knocking a shell. The inside is very dry. Looks like it was made long time ago. Day 2: Ordered beer, chicken nacho and their daily special burger (Little America burger) - Beer is good; - Chicken nacho tastes good; - Burger buns are good, patties are dry and lack of flavor. Personally, I believe everything on happy hour menu is good, but other food is not recommended. Service is slow as well, maybe because their kitchen is slow. read more

So, pretty horrid, staff told us 15 min to get a table but I can count 10 free spots from where we are waiting. Then the seat a walk in that came after us before we got seated. The reason this place deserves four instead of five stars isn't related to the food. Came here for dinner because we just booked places on Opentable since this was out first time in Flagstaff. Little tricky to find because google maps takes you to the gas station next to the hotel tucked in the trees. In the back of the hotel. Took about 7 minutes to be noticed from when we sat down. Ordered drinks and food right away. My arnold palmer was pretty good but was like 90% tea 10% lemonade so it was pretty strong. Ordered the chips and guac because we were hungry. Guac was great and chips tasted nice with the pepper sprinkled on top. I ordered the bolognese and was blown away by how good it was. Not exactly traditional bolognese sauce but it was still amazing. Will be back next time we're in Flagstaff. read more

After we made a reservation and realized the restaurant was in a hotel we were hesitant to go. But we were hungry and tired and it was close to where we were staying so we went. Glad we did! Our dinners were delicious. Our server, Tyler, was great. And the ambiance was just what we like - quiet enough to talk but busy enough to add energy. The front desk was absolute chaos. We stood in a long line with no hostess. I saw her come out of the back, look at the line, then just go straight back in. We finally got on the waiting list and sat down. Watching that front desk while we waited again showed how disorganized they were. We were seated in an appropriate amount of time, and then things picked up. Our waitress was very nice, and very attentive. The bread for our table was delicious and our dinners were great. They were working on a one star until then. So to recap, the chaos of the front desk dropped my review down a couple of stars, but the service and food were very good. read more

Overpriced but it's a hotel so I'm okay with that. But boy was it lackluster. I called to let them know there were no croutons in the 8.99 Caesar salad (see photo) and she asked if I would like to come get some. Yeah. Just stayed here for 4 days and the New Rooms are absolutely Gorgeous and the cleanest room I have ever stayed at. Had a corner room facing the Forest. This place has a lot of potential with all of the visitors they see at Christmas time but they just do not try. It's like no one really wants to be working there. The servers are not attentive and the food is just bad. $35 should get you a good steak at a place like this but they just don't take any pride in the way the food comes out. It was also annoying that all they have for kids is a picked over buffet at dinner time - no kids menu. If you decide to come here because it is convenient after a long day, stick with a burger. Terrible service: we were seated within 5-10 minutes and ordered fairly shortly thereafter. However, after placing our order, we then waited 45 minutes without any explanation from anyone about the delay and only saw our server once during the entire 45 minutes we were waiting. We also were not provided with children's menus when we were seated, despite being with our two four-year-old sons. When I asked the server if they had a children's menu, she recited four items for children but said that they had no menus because they needed to print more. We ended up walking out after waiting 45 minutes for our food, so I have no idea how long it might have taken to actually get our food. We will not be back. read more

Our first time here since they remodeled and honestly we liked it much better before. We were too early for dinner and their lunch menu is disappointing and limited to just a few choices. Lunch for three with two sodas and one dessert was $75. Awfully pricey for mediocre sandwich and salad. Everyone here is very nice and polite, but not enough to make up for a very poor value. We have been coming here for 15 years but I doubt we will be back. Ok, so after our disappointing lunch we took our daughter to the gift shop as she has always looked forward to that. Graduation dinner with family. Drove 7 hours. Scallops special sounded really good but definitely undercooked and mushy in center. I love salmon but that was overcooked and dry. The steak was supposed to be med rare and it came rare and they sent back to reheat. Service was mediocre to get meal ordered. Calamari overcooked and borderline burnt. Lesson learned on this place. We are in town for a youth hockey tournament and we called the restaurant a week ahead and the gave Ashland our waitress. We had almost 50 people and 28 kids 8 and younger. She did amazing job and most of the parents even went up to the manager to thank him and his staff. You have a client for life. Great Job!!!! read more

My wife and I went here while on vacation, and we loved it. The service was spectacular. Our server, Meghan, was extremely friendly and gave us great suggestions. We both ordered salads with our meals and they were fantastic. For dinner I got the peppercorn crusted filet mignon and my wife got the ribeye, both were cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. We both got drinks, and they even made a special drink for my wife. (They made a prickly pear margarita into a martini for her) They also suggested a wine that paired perfectly with my wife's meal. I enjoyed a great single malt scotch. We were also able to enjoy a fantastic dessert. My wife got creme brûlée with an espresso martini, and I got a key lime bomb with a coffee. Recently had breakfast at the Silver Pine Restaurant. We had the oatmeal and fruit bowl. Our waiter was very accommodating. He provided us with almond milk both for our coffee and oatmeal. The oatmeal was served with raisins, nuts, brown sugar, and blue berries. The side portions were ample to mix into the oatmeal. Service was prompt and friendly. Guests had to go to the hotel bar to buy shots - even though they tipped the bar tender VERY WELL - they went back for more and was VERY RUDELY approached by the manager who caused a scene and told them to tip their bartender this time - she later apologized to our guests and comped them a drink - this doesn't help remove the embarrassing scene she caused!! Also, since when is a tip a "requirement " for a bartender? Next morning we went for breakfast - we waited an hour before the waitress took our order - another hour for our food - and 45 minutes for our check - food wasn't very good at all.... sooooo disappointing!!!
