We were here for breakfast, the lady receiving us is very nice and friendly. We were served immediately. I had their Brussels spouts hash with egg, which is very creative, and i never had anything like this in a restaurant in US. It tastes good and it's healthy. If i would make it taste better or more savory, i will put a little honey in it. But that is just personal taste. The place is huge, very modern and classic.

Our family enjoyed several meals at the restaurant and in the bar this weekend. The prices are high, but the convenience when staying here can't be beat. We had fish tacos, salad & soup for lunch and several breakfast dishes. I found the tacos average and had a difficult time getting a different side than the dairy laden pasta salad. It shouldn't have been much to ask for a side salad instead but you'd think I was negotiating for an upgrade. I appreciated that they recognized that I had stated no dairy, but the waitress acted really put out by the request for something else. For breakfast we had everything from the standard eggs, bacon & toast, extra large cinnamon roll, burrito and biscuits and gravy. No one left hungry. Everything was excellent. They weren't terribly busy Sunday morning, but our waitress seemed over worked. Maybe they were short staffed.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights while on a bus tour. The breakfasts were included in our package - a special tour bus menu had enough variety to satisfy everyone. Our "farewell dinner" had been ordered ahead of time and the quality of all food items was excellent. In all cases, the service was speedy and efficient without being intrusive. The restaurant is large and somewhat noisy but the ambiance is fitting of an expensive establishment. Recommended - if you are staying at this hotel, it is the obvious and a good choice.

This is an underrated and hidden gem inside the Little America Hotel (which is also a hidden gem). The ambiance is just fantastic, especially if you like the Christmas ambiance, nice decor, clean, amazing food & great service. We were skeptical because hotel restaurants are not typically great but this one was all worth it! The fish could use a little more seasoning but the pasta salad was uniquely delicious. My mom had the clam chowder soup and she loved it! I want to shout out to Ms. Lee, our waiter. She was super nice & made my daughter's birthday extra special. Thank you!

Fish Tacos (fried & grilled) with a side of guac and a Prickly Pear Margarita to wash that action down, wooo!!

This restaurant rocks. I mean, it ROCKS!! And the fact it's the restaurant of the Little America Resort makes it rock even harder! The restaurant and bar occupy a hugely tasteful open space. There's no claustrophobia goin' on here, heh! The staff is highly professional, friendly, and efficient. They'll make you feel like a long time regular on your first visit! How rare is that in today's service industry? Okay, now the menu: It's top-notch and wide-ranging. There's something for everyone, no joke. That said, the price range is probably the widest I've ever seen at any restaurant I've ever been to. This set my expectations accordingly so I went for something a little on the less-pricey side. What I got, however, was SUBLIME. Fish tacos two ways: Fried & Grilled. Got a big ol' side o' guac to go with those chips, a Prickly Pear Margarita, and I was off to the dang races! Breakfast the next morning was their breakfast burrito which was absolutely delish & filling! I love this restaurant and can't wait to get back again!

Perfect each time we visited while staying at the hotel. Breakfast was great and came out quick, Veggie Omelette and French Toast. Service was good both times we visited. Enjoyed a prickly pear mocktail with the bruschetta board, tempura green beans and duck quesadilla. Would be very happy to come back. Great view out the back with the snow and fire going.

I went for the Thanksgiving dinner by myself. It was expensive, but that gave me high hopes. The soup was delicious, but everything else was mediocre, and not worth the $90. I'd have been better off buying a premade meal from Whole Foods. The booth I was sat in had visible food on the floor that I stepped in. My main concern is the service. My server obviously didn't want to be there, and was very quick and short. I mean, he had to work on Thanksgiving so I can't say that I blame him. It reminded me of getting food from a busy theme park. He didn't offer me anything to drink besides water. He didn't smile, he never said happy Thanksgiving, and didn't even say thank you, or have a good evening. I'm a generous tipper, but I couldn't justify tipping him over the minimum. Based on this experience, I definitely would not come back. I had my heart set on their Christmas dinner too.

It was expensive, they charged me six dollars for a tiny glass of tomato juice. The food is fabulous. Egg was cooked perfect, I enjoyed the rye toast. My favorite was the Applewood bacon. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Delicious Fish and hand cut Chips with all the condiments, and Crème Brûlée for dessert.

This business is in the most lovely lodge ever, and aside from when North Pole Experience is going on and the hallway right out front is inundated with fun families in their PJ's carrying teddy bears from Santa, it's a very luxury location. We had occasion to eat there for the first time on our last annual Little America trip and although we took our food back to our room, we thought the restaurant was absolutely beautiful, with to die for views of the Little America lit up pine forest. Most of the dinner food is pricey, but it is large in portions and the quality is excellent. I mean, with prices across the board being what they are these days...it's probably not "over" priced because it would be a beautiful place for a date, or a celebration meal. To me it's probably better for that kind of a scenario than a family meal, but it depends on your budget. We could easily have gotten only one fish and chips and a dessert and shared, it would have been more than enough food. We just didn't know that. The fish was fresh tasting and very white, moist, flaky. The crust breading was so crispy and delicious. The fries were interestingly shaped like wide spirals. Definitely hand cut. We didn't care for the cole slaw but the tartar sauce was fantastic and next time I'd ask for one extra tartar sauce on the side, in place of the cole slaw! If you like your coleslaw kind of spicy and horseradish + mustard seedy you may really like it. There was no sweet/tartness like cole slaw sometimes has, and is our favorite kind. But the cabbage was thinly shaved, fresh and crispy and I'm sure some people love this savory style. We had the Creme Brûlée (just one) for dessert and it was big enough for us to share. It was very delicious. A nice delicate crust burnt on top and a smooth, sweet inside. It was such a treat. This is not a "to go" item because it's cooked into the ramekin so only attempt to order this if you are eating in or are a hotel guest so the ramekin can be returned from your room to the restaurant, please. :) The staff at the front podium wasn't the most available, but they also weren't very busy at the off time we went in, so they were attending to other tasks that have to be done before the rush, at the same time as answering calls. We are very sensitive to people in service industry and understanding that we only see them for a short time and have no idea what all they were attending to. We must realize that they can only focus on one or two things at a time and if we are kind and wait our turn, we will definitely get the best service and maybe get the chance to brighten their night! That's the goal, anyway. Lastly, because we ordered to go, they packed our stuff up and included ample amounts of everything we'd need. Everything had been thought of without having to ask and that is rare. We appreciated that attention to detail so much because our room was far, and we would have had a long walk back if there was something we needed. I'd recommend the holiday meals and buffets at Silver Pines for sure. To be able to eat there and have the menu items they include, it seems like a great option for locals or holiday travelers. PS There is a Kid's menu but we did not try it. Good to know it exists, though.

    Brussels sprouts hash for breakfast

My husband and I had breakfast here with friends. I had a dish made of broccoli, quinoa, Brussels sprouts leaves, potatoes and a fried egg on top, with an English muffin. It was very good. It might have been called Brussels Sprout Hash. My husband's pancake was mediocre, but his sausage and eggs were fine. My coffee tasted bad so I switched to tea. My friend's oatmeal looked good. In addition, the server Cassandra found dried cranberries to add to her oatmeal. The service was very good. I liked the ambiance of this restaurant. As I recall there were big windows with nice view. The restaurant is conveniently located within the Little America hotel. This is a large restaurant.

This is our 2nd time at Fat Olives. I love their wooden floors, wooden tables and chairs and the brick walls...simple yet stylish! We decided on two pizzas- the 12" Shrimp Fra Diavolo (pesto sauce, spicy shrimp, basil, and the wonderful Calabrian chiles and chili oil) and a 10" Pepperoni. The shrimp pizza was amazing and will have me stopping in here on future Flagstaff trips! The crust was perfectly cooked- a little char from the wood smoke oven and a little chewiness like a good crust should have. Despite the place getting crazy before we left, our waiter was very attentive and got us a box for our last 3 slices (all from the pep) and to-go drinks. Being hot and sunny, we placed the pizza box on our dash and had the last few slices hours later on the road. The only problem with Fat Olives is it being in Flagstaff and not in metro-Phoenix. Okay...2nd problem is I want to try every pizza they have. If the first problem gets fixed, the 2nd problem may go away! Final note- they do have several pizzas with nuts on them, so those with nut allergies should speak to their server to understand any risk.

The amount of was generous, it's spicy, but I think it's a little bit oily and too salty for me. The belgio dolce was sweet and salty, it's better than the shrimp one. Their fat olives salad was good, it was refreshing and I liked the chicken breast they grilled, very tender. The caprese was good too. Don't forget to order tiramisu as dessert, it's not too sweet. The Italian soda was definitely on the sweeter side, but interesting to drink. The vibe was also good, and the staff was friendly. Be sure to make a reservation so you don't wait too long.

The potato cream cheese soup was so comforting and delicious, and I loved how creamy and smooth it was. We ended up sharing a few items, and everything came out quickly once we ordered at the counter. We tried the Citrus Beet salad, which had pretty much all of my favorite ingredients: beets, arugula, candied walnuts, and more, along with a bowl of potato cream cheese soup and a tri tip sandwich. The sandwich was good, but the soup and salad were definitely my favorites. Everything felt fresh and satisfying, and it was exactly the kind of meal we were looking for. Wildflower is kind of like Stonefire Grill in Southern California in that it feels like a reliable casual local chain with a lot of good options, and I LOVED that there are several locations around Arizona. If Wildflower were to ever branch out to southern California I'd probably visit monthly and I'd happily return to try more of their refreshing items.

I definitely wouldn't order the chicken again. The hubs had the Santa Maria tri tip. The meat was tough. Quite a few pieces too tough to even chew. Luckily, my meal was huge so he had that to fill up on. I saw the 32 oz cocktails and the former party girl in me immediately kicked in. I think my husband saw the look in my eyes. But alas, I couldn't even taste the alcohol. That inner party girl didn't let out that big 'ol grin. (That's ok. The tolerance of 22 year old me has faded through the years). I was initially drawn in after hearing that Chef Sam Greenhalgh was a semifinalist for the 2024 James Beard Award (Best Chef: Southwest), and I was curious to try his food for myself. On my first visit, my friend and I ordered the Canelés de Bordeaux, Pain au Chocolat, Soft Scrambled Egg Plate, and Breakfast Burrito. We came back again for breakfast and tried the scrambled eggs toast and a savory waffle. Everything we had was delicious, but the Soft Scrambled Egg Plate was truly something special. The eggs were unbelievably light and fluffy, paired with perfectly buttered, toasted bread that somehow felt magical in its simplicity. The heirloom tomatoes and creamy avocado added such a fresh, balanced touch. It's a simple dish, but the execution was exceptional--and honestly, that's what makes it so memorable. I know it sounds a little crazy to return twice for something so simple, but it was just that well done. The breakfast burrito was a strong second favorite. We took it to go as we continued our road trip toward the Four Corners Monument, and it held up really well. It was packed with flavor, and I especially loved that the tortilla had a nice crisp to it.
