This was our first time here and came here because of the reviews. I have to say I was a little disappointed after eating there. First off the location is great, in the middle of "downtown" co-located with a department store. Customer service was good and their seating process is spot on since it gets busy. They don't let you get a seat unless you have an order number, which helps because they seat you by the amount of people in your party. When we first arrived I thought we were going to find trouble getting seated but because of their process we were able to get a table right away. The customer service was good and the overall ambiance was also very good. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because of the price of the food and the taste of the food. If I'm going to be paying as much as I did I want all the food to taste great. It's not that the food tasted bad it was just very bland. Which is almost just as bad. We ordered 6 meals and 2 of them were just not good. My daughter got the chicken soup and it was all soup and no substance. It hardly had anything in it, only 2-3 pieces of chicken and 3-4 pieces of vegetables. She also said it didn't have much flavor. I got a chicken sandwich which I cannot recall the name of but it had a sauce, cheese and apple slices in it. Again no flavor that stood out and the chicken was very bland. We were very disappointed in the food, especially since it's on the pricey side. Probably won't be back. read more

I know COVID puts a damper on everything and with that in mind my review hasn't anything to do with the length of wait it is strictly food related. This was our first night in Buena Vista and we love nothing more that eating in restaurants where the food is made from scratch and they are health conscious with their menu. That being said I was completely disappointed with my chicken and Brie sandwich with pear and arugula. It was so incredibly bland, chicken breast can be very dull if it isn't seasoned and this was the case with this sandwich; as for the pear I don't know where they came from but it was flavorless. In the end I opened my sandwich up and topped it with the slaw that I had as my side and seasoned it. It was better but not great. I gave this place 4 stars as I would go back because I had a bite of my son's Mac and Cheese with broccoli and spinach and it was delicious. My other son enjoyed his burger too. On a note to other patrons we had a long wait which is acceptable in these times but if you are waiting for 20 minutes by the time you get to the counter you should damn well know what you want. read more

This place is terrific the previous reviews were spot on. Line seemed long but moved really fast. Service was fast and food was excellent. Had the All Elk Burger and was not disappointed. The food was very disappointing. No one in our party finished their meal because of the lack of flavor, freshness and overall quality. The Thai pesto was slopped onto the plate with a slice of stale bread and hardly edible. The dish did not offer any exciting flavor and was left untouched by both members who ordered it. Ordered a Panini with no onions to go, a co-worker went to get my food got it back opened it up BAM onions. I understand sometimes you are busy and maybe don't read the tickets so I called to see if they could remake it for me. Spoke with the manager who said oh just tell them next time that you get a free meal. When I asked if I could skip the free meal and just have this remade she didn't seem very happy. Finally convinced her to remake my Panini (that I paid for) the correct way so again co worker went to pick it up got it back and no onions (yay) however my Panini is burnt to a crisp and the bread on one side is missing. In town visiting my cousin(for baby shower) that lives in this amazing community and had dinner here. I had the choose 2, because I couldn't make a decision. I had the Chicken & Brie Panini & the Bison & Mozzarella Ravioli. Both were delicious! We also got a cup of macaroons and WOW! I was craving the macaroons the rest of the trip.
