Went in about 2pm. Food was tasty, however customer service sucked! We never got a "welcome" or "thank you." We got the gyro plate, sinbad's gyro, and sinbad's fries. Totaled about almost $40 including 15% tip (which I wished I hadn't tipped that much). We parked in a parking structure across the street, cost us $6 for about 2 hours. Pros: good amount of tasty food, bathroom in facility, water dispenser. Cons: customer service doesn't exist here! read more

I'm a fan of the great flavors, generous portions, and dedicated folks who run this place. The food is so delicious and consistent. I think of the chicken shawarma as a pick-me-up meal for when I'm glum, and I was so happy when I found out they were open for ordering in advance for takeout. I used to go regularly and eat in, and the quality remains the same for takeout. The guys who run this place really clearly put their heart into it and I'm glad to keep being a patron. read more

Paper plates, plastic forks, spoons and knives (if plastic can really make knives!), in heart of Fremont comes with outdoor seating by Lenin statue. It does not get any better! I had chicken plate with salad, rice, hummus, and pita. I enjoyed the way hummus was prepared. It was smooth, well balanced,not overly salty or tahiny. Rice was well seasoned and worked well, and butter in it was making it slide! There were two man working (I visited in 07/2018) and young, bold man was not happy he was there whatsoever. But who cares, we all have sucky days at work. However, if you are in a customer service it is helpful to hide such feelings since your business depends on it. The way this person behaved it was clear to me that this was not his joint. I could not care less as long as the food fit the bill. When I got my food there were no pepperoncins or, no kalamata olives on the salad, or any olives for that matter, even though it is a listed ingredient on the menu. Now, I find that these two must elements of any middle eastern dish assist in adding briny taste to the chicken and rice complementing the depth of dishes. I went inside to ask and was told that they charge extra 50 cents for extra olives. I got pissed because they were supposed to be on the salad already so I said so, he just looked at me blank and said extra 50 cents.... but I really wanted them so I went back to my table, got the money and went back just to find out they do not have any kalamata olives, just black. Those were not added to the salad either. When I asked him why is menu not updated to reflect the fact that there are no kalamata olives he just looked at me with no answer or any care about his job. It is not worth $15 for lunch at this spot. Just too expensive for OK food, with no depth to it or complexity. Add this type of service and I am not going there and would encourage you to skip it. read more

OK here we go. Amazing food. I really like the lentil soup. The fries are great. Really enjoy all the vegetarian options. But the best part about Sinbad is the staff. In particular there is a man named Ahmed and I forgot my my purse pouch thing at this establishment. I get that some people suck but damn, we just arrived and asked to confirm our order was received and either ready or not from an online order but I didn't expect to be met with such attitude that doesn't have any place in the service industry. Shitty people shouldn't make you a worse person to interact with when you deal with the general public all day. A big however, the fault is obviously at management. This gentlemen is the only MF working this joint...what the hell is that on a Tuesday dinner hour. One hour for two wraps and fries. Who'd thunk it. I am the only one here. No line. Three people were here when I arrived and have since left. Again, food is good but you have to couple that with friendly service, and this place is lacking the later. Honestly this place made my day today. After a short afternoon hike my wife and I went here for some quick dinner.The lamb and beef gyro was probably one of the best I've ever had. It was so fresh, tender, full of flavor and also huge. The falafel sandwich again was very fresh and tasty. We also had a side plate of falafels because they were just so good. And then to satisfy the sweet tooth we had a regular as well as pistachio baklava, both phenomenal and fresh. What amazed me was the very low and affordable prices with such fantastic food and fast service. I'd sure go here over and over again and strongly recommend it to everyone I know. read more

I'm giving 2 stars because the food itself is good but the service is terrible. I went in and there were a few people waiting but nothing crazy. There were two guys cooking in the back when we ordered. I my buddy asked for no lettuce or tomato on his gyro and I asked for 2 sides of garlic sauce ( cannot enjoy my gyro without and extreme amount of garlic sauce). The food took forever to come out and when it did my buddy had tomato and lettuce on his gyro and I had no extra garlic sauce. Not the biggest deal right? So I go up and ask for my sides that I paid for. The guy literally glares at me and nods his head. He never got me any sauce and he was an prick about it. There are a lot of gyro spots to choose from around seattle, and because of his horrible customer service I won't be back and I'll spread the word. Two words: Greek fries. I've had them other places (who would've thought feta and fries??) and always get them here. A pretty decent gyro wrap, and I'm always satisfied. Sometimes it feels a little understaffed, but everyone is friendly and it's always worth the wait. read more

I guess I'll give Sinbads 1 Star...there's an employee here (you know who you are) that is basically rude to everyone who orders. I arrived to pick up an online order and approached the counter to check in. He looked at me angrily and said "I'm busy 50 minutes!" I had ordered the food 20 minutes prior so a total of 70 minutes for 2 wraps? I waited 15 more minutes and asked again to make sure I was understood since I was speaking through a face mask and again was met with hostility, no eye contact and a negative head shake in anger. I will never return here again. I don't know if this is family owned or what but Sinbads clearly needs to reevaluate their customer service, especially during a pandemic. I got the cheesy fries and a falafel gyro and was not very satisfied. I tried my friend's lamb and beef gyro and liked that one much more. The falafel was a little too salty and dry, so I recommend the lamb and beef. The establishment itself was not clean, the tables were all greasy and it smelt pretty bad the closer you got the bathroom. I liked it, but will be getting a lamb and beef gyro to go next time. read more
