Truly a hidden gem for Mediterranean food! The service is incredible (the cashier brought out extra sauce for us to try) and the food was so good, plus you can't beat the price. The falafels were some of the crispiest and flavorful falafels I've ever had. Lentil soup was smooth and hot. Also got a plate with two types of meats, hummus, rice and salad. Part of being an amazing restaurant is how the staff takes care of customers. More on the food later but I have to say how impressed I was after calling about a delivery order that was running late. It was a rainy day during rush hour so I was very understanding. When I called, the employee offered to call the delivery driver and then called me right back to say the driver would be dispatched right away with my order. The kindness, follow up and apology went a long way to leave a positive first impression on me. The food was outstanding. Simple Mediterranean food done right. I have read the reviews and heard great things about Sinya but I am very loyal to another Mediterranean place that has super fast delivery and amazing garlic sauce. I decided to try Sinya today on a whim and first of all, the delivery was like lightning speed. I barely thought to check on it and it was arriving. Secondly, the chicken shawarma wrap was juicy and so so flavorful even without any sauces. I honestly can't believe how juicy this chicken is. I ended up combining a little garlic sauce and a little hot sauce to put on it and it's just amazing. The garlic sauce might not be quite as good as my usual place but the chicken is by far the best chicken shawarma I've ever had. The only downside is that now I'm going to have to figure out how choose between Sinya and my other spot. Real world problems! read more

I had the Impossible kebab wrap, and it was really good! The flavor was right, not just the standard Impossible meat taste--it actually tasted good. The aesthetic inside is really nice, and the service was standard. The only downside was having to pay an extra 75 cents for a few ounces of hot sauce, which felt a bit unnecessary. We had takeout from Sinya. What a great spot in Roscoe Village! We had the falafel, so good. They are more crunchy than I've had other places, but I loved them. We also got the chicken shwarma dinner. Everything is seasoned really well. It comes with a small salad, pita bread, a boatload of rice and the most delicious hummus. You can order tzatziki sauce, garlic sauce, tahini or a spicy sauce as an add on. The portions are huge! The dinner easily could feed two for lunch. Bomb bomb bomb! This place is absolute fire. I don't know how to tell you that you need to come and order the chicken wrap anymore. This is a must go to lunch or earlier dinner (or pre-drink meal). So well seasoned, incredibly cooked, and the sauces are a MUST. The hot and white sauce are amazing and the babaganoush is the perfect side to anything you order. The owner is an incredibly nice guy and he gave us a piece of falafel to try and I have to say I'm a little sad I didn't order it but I don't think you can make a mistake at this place. Place always slaps. I go through an internal battle once a week when I have to decide between here and Tony's. Everything is really consistent and constantly good. We swing through here at least once a week basically since it opened.
