The guy was sent by another fraudulent business, Select Home Warranty, to respond to claims request. He submitted a fraudulent report saying there's pest infestation in the house. Select Home denied the claims. Chris Lee never saw one mouse or anything in the house while he was there. He made no comments that he suspect any pest problems let alone anything that'd warrant his "infestation" report. He saw one old mousetrap then made that report to give the warranty company a slim reason to deny the claim. The technician hasn't even made it to my house yet (four days late!!), but the customer service woman who answers the phone is absolutely atrocious. She is rude, short, and won't talk just couple grunts at you, and refuses to answer any questions. The day of service (again four days later than originally scheduled), I called at 12, since our window was 12-5, to get a better idea of when someone would come and she refused to tell me where I was on the list to be serviced, or when I could better expect them to show up, and she acted like I was an idiot for asking. Lowes scheduled this company to send out a technician for a service call under the protection plan and they've rescheduled 3 times. Reschedule dates are 2 out despite lowes providing dates 3-4 days out. The woman on the phone in charge of rescheduling is extremely rude and combative and has even hung up on me. My wife and I purchased an electric LG Range from Lowe's in Gaithersburg in February 2018. We also purchased the 5 year warranty at that time. Lowe's contracted with XPO Logistics to do the install. XPO failed to properly install the range with the housing ring connected (that keeps wires from wearing against the sharp metal frame). Fast forward to about a month ago (now November 2019). Our oven twice on consecutive days tripped the breaker with a loud bang. The second time we also saw a fire ball flash up the back of the wall into our microwave. We left the oven off after that. We had a certified electrician come in to assess what the problem was and he looked at the plug, wires and terminal block all of which had significant burn marks. He said we could've easily had an electrical fire. You would think Lowe's would want to rectify this situation rather quickly, especially since we purchased the 5 Year warranty with our new range. BUT they passed the buck to their installers (XPO), in turn they tried to blame LG for faulty product, and all the time we were on the hook for contacting all parties. Oh! And lest I fail to mention that EVERY time we called (even the same companies) we had to start from scratch telling the stories and at times sending the pics that the electrician sent. Eventually they gave us the name of the provider company SIS VA, Inc. Major Appliance Services, who sent out someone from the company who also did an assessment. He told me they would evaluate and let me know within 48 hours if they would repair or replace the unit. We heard nothing back. We called to find out what the verdict was and they said it the claim had been denied due to "physical damage"(??). Meanwhile we wanted a working stove/range again because Thanksgiving was upon us. May I say with the exception of one or two customer service reps who were pleasant but did not move the needle one iota, the MAJORITY were not only rude but extremely so. This has been (& continues to be) a very trying situation with no resolution other for us to call in another electrician to fix the problem and come out of our own pocket once again! So far we have eaten out on numerous occasions, purchased an electric skillet, we paid for an initial electrician assessment at $125, 2nd electrician has ball parked the parts and labor at $250, hours and hours on the phone with 4 different companies, and not having a working appliance on a major holiday. If I could give no stars I would This place is also called SIS VA INC Our freezer stopped working so we called samsung and they told us someone would call us. We received a call from here and scheduled an appt. they told us there would be a $150 labor fee and it would be a one time fee. We agreed and made an appt. I get a call that morning saying the technician can't come out because he had car troubles and so we rescheduled for the following day. I get a call the following day and they said the same thing (like what? You said the next day would be fine but again he can't come out for the same reason? Then don't schedule an appt for the following day). We scheduled another appt for the upcoming Friday and I get no call. So I'm like okay this is weird. All of there sudden they decide not to call the number they've been calling and decide to call my dad's cell. Like what?! Who does that? We never asked you to change the contact number. So their excuse this time for not coming is they wanted to make sure someone was home before coming. Anyways.. So finally he comes and Fernando took a look at the freezer (unscrewed stuff and etc) and told us our mother board and other things were not working so he told us our mother board and other things were not working. He gave us an estimate of the cost and told us he would call us again before making the order and he did follow through. Before leaving we did give him the check for $150. They call about a week later and we scheduled another appt. He comes back out and changes things and says it should work and start freezing but that it would take 3-5 days. we thought it was weird but we waited. NOTHING CHANGED! Also before he left we gave him a check for i think $148.. So we call and scheduled another appt. this time Douglas comes and looks at it and tells us the temp sensor wasn't working (this is something Fernando changed when he was here). Douglas changes it and tells us it should work. Nope! Doesn't work. So we call again and the guy that seems to always pick up the phone (Joseph) says he needs to check with the technician and that he would call me back. I wait and I get no call so I call back and he says the same thing. I wait til the next day and call cus he doesn't call again and he asks for me to wait so I can talk to Douglas. Douglas says he noticed that our display was weird so that would prob be the issue and that it would be pointless for him to come out if he already knows the problem so we agree and they just order the part. Douglas came Monday and it's still not fixed so someone it suppose to come Friday. This started early august. So annoyed! Joseph (also the manager) told me today on the phone that we wouldn't have to pay the labor fee cus we are still within the 30 days and I told him that we def shouldn't pay anything cus nothing has been fixed and he rudely says that's debatable. I am actually glad they didn't go inside it and just said to my wife while I was out of town " a hose was loose" 2 loads later and still water leak. They were recommended by Sears home warranty for our GE refrigerator. They contacted us when the technician will arrive. In which he arrived as stated. Now, here's where the crap goes down hill. After arriving, we explained to the technician the problem is a leaking water dispenser line to the refrigerator and it's turned off. His answer was "that's the plumbing side, I don't do that ". I need to call SIS VA Inc back at 240-558-3709 and ask for a plumber the following morning after he summit his report. We called the number, no one answer just voice mail leave for Chris. Called numerous times for several days and voicemails each time. They don't have the courtesy to at least return any call. This is a lousy company with inept customer service. I should have looked at the reviews before calling them. If i could give them less than zero stars I would I hate to leave bad reviews - I believe this is my first. I didn't call them by choice. They are apparently the only authorized Samsung refrigerator repair company in the area. My problem was a known defect with the Samsung icemaker and even though it's out of warranty because it's the 4th time I've had an issue with it - Samsung agreed to cover the cost of parts and I would cover labor. Fine - thank you Samsung. First it is impossible to get this company on the phone. They are rude and have ZERO customer service skills as several other reviewers have noted After several calls back on forth I finally got confirmation that they had the information from Samsung (originally they were going to charge me for parts). And agreed that I had to pay for labor. The repair guy finally shows up today (3 business days after first reported issue) and says that I have to pay for the labor before he can order the part. So he's not fixing anything (he just opened door and looked at icemaker - no labor done) taking my $150 and may or may not come back later with the part. I told him to get the (insert bad word here) out of my house. (side note he was wearing a mask but no gloves). I have NEVER had a company charge me for labor that is not done and that can't be done while the repair person is present. I have filed a formal complaint with Samsung. And they have agreed to reimburse me for using my own repair guy (who is wonderful and done several repairs for me - just one guy so no yelp reviews I can send people to). So when he finally comes three days after the initial scheduled day he says that there was no problem and that he didn't even have to use the part that he ordered... he leaves. We try to do another load of wash in our washer and we got the same error message that Justin was suppose to "fix". So we call up Home Depot again and they set up another time for SIS to come out. This time he comes out and has to order parts. THREE WEEKS GO BY!!! He never calls. We finally call him and say "what is going on?" He claimed the the parts were on back order. Conveniently the next day the parts came in and he was able to come out. He fixes the problem...he leaves We try to do another load of laundry. This time we get a different error message. We call Home Depot again and they put us through Maytag's direct Customer Service. They have a technician come out the next day and he said that it was a water pressure issue and that the valves were broken!!!!! SIS is a thief!!! Lowe's sent this company out to repair a refrigerator. Then appointment was 4days out which isn't great since you need a refrigerator. Tech comes out and it needs a part ordered. Says it will take 3 days. 7 days later no call. I tried calling and VM picks up. Sent an email per VM instructions and nothing. Calling Lowe's to see if I can get a different company. They were completely incapable of picking up the phone 30 minutes after they left me a message to call them (with absolutely no hint on what they needed), I proceeded to continuously try to call them for 2 hours to make sure they were coming to repair my dryer tomorrow to no avail (this was all during their business hours). They do not even have an answering machine or an email account. THEY ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BE CONTACTED. After seeing their reviews here on yelp, I went ahead and identified the bad parts and performed the replacement myself.
