    Cajun Omelette
    Jazmin T.

Decided that we wanted some country style breakfast, so while my parents were in town, I took them over here. This is my second time visiting, and it's just that. Good homemade style food that just hits the spot. My dad mentioned wanting a chicken fried steak (CFS), and so naturally, that sounded really good, and changed my whole thought process about what to get. I knew the kiddo was going for french toast or the cinammon roll pancake, so I could get some sweetness, and have some savory, which I think worked out great! I got the CFS with mashed potatoes and sourdough bread, with a side of grits. The kid and lil lady got the french toast, side of bacon and side of grits. My dad ended up going with the bone in ham, never even saw that on the menu, but it was good, and I loved the grill flavor in the meat. Brother got the omelet. When the food came out, I knew I had to be quick with the pics, bc we were all starving! Not starving starving, but we were hungry! Lol, everyone tried a little bit of everything, and nothing disappointed. I also like that they have a covered patio, we sat out on the patio the first time visiting, and there's lots of space, you get a cool breeze somehow in this Houston heat. Service was awesome, and it was just a great place to enjoy a great breakfast or lunch.

We've driven by this place a million times and never checked it out. Today was the day!!! I haven't had service this great in a very long time. Our server, Kenadie M, was spectacular. She let us know everything new that they offered and was very patient while we looked over the menu. She checked in on us throughout and we had everything we needed. The food was great! I had the Orleans Omlette with the dirty rice. My husband had the build your own skillet. Our meals were amazing and we can't wait to go back. I love that it's a neighborhood spot with candles, can koozies, and several pickled items for purchase. Very reasonably priced, great staff, amazing energy, CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!!

We visited here for breakfast and it was quite popular but we were able to get a seat without having to wait. Prices are high and portions are small. The coffee was good and the biscuit and gravy had a wonderful flavor with slight accents of potato and thick gravy but unfortunately it was a little too small. The atmosphere is your standard coffee shop with kind of a hip whimsical flare.

Looks are deceiving! When you drive by it appears like it's a small corner restaurant in a plaza but this location has plenty of seating and even an option for outdoor seating. Lots of choices and service was super friendly and attentive. The grits were creamy but the saltiness of the sausage I think overpowered the dish. My SIL said the chicken and waffles lacked flavor unfortunately but my daughter said the pancake, eggs and potatoes were "bussin". We'll be back to try other dishes and for sure the mimosas.

Great food, great service! We were driving through and decided to try this place. I was pleasantly surprised. They have a good menu with a variety of food, some have a Louisiana touch like corn bread with rice and beans with andouille sausage. I made my own veggie omelette with really good crispy potatoes and a warm biscuit. In other places that I've had omelettes they tend to be thin and flat with the veggies inside like a taco. However, here they make it correctly, the veggies are mixed in with the eggs. The portions are filling. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. There's plenty of party since it's in a strip mall. It's clean and has funny signs and even menu items like the man-mosa. It was a very pleasant experience.

Came in this morning for our first time here and the place was poppin'! We sat at the bar because my pregnant self wasn't wanting to wait for a table; it wound up being so nice and the bartender was fun to talk to. We both really enjoyed our food and the vibes inside. I stuck to chocolate milk this morning, but the coffees looked so good. Look forward to coming back! Also, the restroom was clean.

The food is great. I've gone twice now, zero complaints! Cinnamon roll pancakes, boudin balls whichever omelette I ordered, and even basic breakfast, potatoes nice and crisp, all was delicious. Service was quick, even on a Saturday morning! Cute theme, even the merch is fun! Will be returning! Great prices on carafes!!

Great service, Tristan checked in me often, that is good....but the food was not good!! I chose my first visit I chose the Classic scrambled eggs, grits, bacon French toast cause my first time. Greasy seems old bacon was just not tasty at all. I didn't finish it crispy that I requested. That's fine but to greasy use my napkins to get get grease seems been sitting in old grease. Oh, you would think that grits would be easy but not the case. Oh I put more butter, pepper, and I even add more salt and it still couldn't eat the rest of it. Mushy mushy mushy.! The eggs were OK, could've been hotter. It's a small business. It wasn't that that busy and then I shouldn't have chosen it., The toast wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best again not hot temperature and a weird color of the French toast. well at least I tried, but I won't be back.

From the service to the food, everything was great! Definitely a hole in the wall, place I've always driven by but I'm glad we stumbled in this morning.

Good food, sushi is always tasty, service is always decent. If you don't go in the evenings on the weekend, it is normally not too loud.

Wonderful! The coffee flows well here! I had the veggie omelet, with added cheese, side fruit, and toast. The omelet was generously sized, and the fruit had berries. It was better than expected. Highly recommend! The service was excellent fast and friendly. I hope to come back next time we're in the area.

Happy Monday Foodies! Brunch with Hubby this AM was delicious. Dirty Rice, Crispy Bacon and Shrimp and Grits. Hubby loved his shrimp and grits and it was for a good price. The Dirty Rice is always tasty. Service was very attentive, food came out quickly.

Supposed to be Berry Amaretto pancakes, but they forgot my toppings....... :(
    Marie B.

Ordered to-go on a busy Saturday morning... Chicken & Waffles and a stack of pancakes. When I unpackaged the items at home, I noticed they forgot to provide me with several items. I ordered the pancakes Berry Amaretto style, asking for the sauce & berries on the side. They left out the berries. I also asked for "a few sides of spicy syrup," but they only gave me one. The pancakes by themselves weren't anything special. I could honestly get the same thing for cheaper from a fast food establishment. The chicken was super dry & rubbery, with rhe middle so hard I wouldn't be surprised if it was pre-frozen. The waffles were also nothing spectacular - the type you expect from a commercial motel breakfast. There was no flavor to anything! Everything tasted like stale batter. Less than mediocre. Overpriced for basic & DISAPPOINTING.

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.

We asked hostess when KJ came to work, thinking he might be at the end of his shift and was tired. He started his shift at 4 pm and we came to eat at 6 pm. Some when it's not busy and some when it's very busy around happy hour. Their hh is from 3-6 daily where they have $2 off shots and cocktails. I've tried a few menu items too. This latest visit I tried the 8pc buffalo wings. Many bars have wings, and they should be at least edible if not awesome. I know Texas isn't Anchor Bar in Buffalo, but good wings are not hard to pull off for most bars. I chose the gochujang wings since they were recommended and turns out they are really good. I didn't ask for the celery and carrots, which they charge more for, but they gave them to me anyway. They were playing mostly reggae music during my latest visit. The service was fairly friendly, however, on one occasion the bartender was more concerned taking care of things at one end of the bar and rarely came to the other end where I was sitting. This was during a slow period, so she had no excuse to almost ignore me. Their menu is misleading with a couple of items. For example, the chicken wings. They display 4 prices, the top 2 prices for wings alone, and bottom are for wings served with celery, carrots and a dipping sauce, at least so I thought. Turns out I was wrong and the top 2 prices are not prices. It's actually 8 wings for 14 and 12 wings for 20. This is a very strange way and they should fix their menu since the waitress said many people have questioned this when it came time to pay their bill. I wanted to love this bar since Caddyshack is one of my favorite all time movies, but I just haven't had a great cocktails there yet and service has been spotty.

They were serving happy hour when we got there. I got a $3 Stella Artois and decided on half-off Sticky Wings. They were gluten free, so no breading and honestly, I prefer them that way. The skin was super crispy and the sauce was almost asian flavored with a side of what I assume tasted like an organic ranch. It was really good nonetheless. For our entrees, I decided on the White Chicken Parm which consisted of "pan-seared chicken, lightly crusted with lemon pepper parmesan; served with gluten free spaghetti pasta tossed with olive oil, homemade béchamel & white wine sauce with garlic, shallots, roasted tomatoes & parmesan; garnished with broccolini, parsley & grilled lemon." I used the grilled lemon atop the chicken and pasta for an extra lemony taste. YUM! Robbie chose the Way Bacon Burger which included "Heartbrand Akaushi Wagyu with sweet & spicy candied bacon, caramelized onions & raspberries, house-made pickles, lettuce, tomatoes & roasted garlic aioli on a brioche bun," however, he ordered without the bun, substitute lettuce wrap. There was a mix up and we ended up getting charged for the gluten free bun, but was promptly offered a refund or a dessert. We took the dessert! The dessert we chose was the Candy Cane Cheesecake. The consistency was almost like cookie dough, the crust was like a cookie and it was delicious. The self-service fountain drink area smelled strongly of mildew or old sponges, and the counter was very sticky and wet. I understand a mess during a lunch rush, but the lingering odor was a big turn off. I ordered a White Chicken Parm, and the chicken was unpleasantly rubbery in some areas- I regretfully had to spit out a piece, which I genuinely try not to do out of respect. Pasta was also too salty for my taste. The menu description also lists broccolini, but the reality was more of regular broccoli that was also soft to the point of being slightly mushy. I'm hoping the best for this restaurant, and also hope that this may have been an off day since there are recent good reviews; but in the meantime, I'll be exploring other Vintage Park options for lunch. - Ambiance: 2/5 - Food: 2/5 - Service: 4/5
