My family was looking for a brunch place for an early Easter brunch on Saturday before Easter. We decided this place looked good and was central. I arrived 15 minutes early to ask for a table for 13. I was abruptly told they could only sit us outside, which I said was fine, and everyone had to be there to be sat, which I also understand. When it was time to be seated 2 of our people were still 30 minutes out so I asked to change to 11 and they would have to seat elsewhere and was told they couldn't do that. I asked for a solution and they said I'll get the manager. She also said we can't change to 11 because you originally said 13. I again asked what is the solution. She very rudely said we will seat you but won't be able to seat the others near you. I said ok. As this is my family Easter brunch I brought Easter baskets for the kids. The manager came outside to our table and again very rudely said there is no outside food allowed inside. So we removed the Easter baskets. I think it's important to say there was no candy being opened or eating as we were ordering food. The waiter Keith was great and even apologized for the Managers behavior. This manager has missed the customer service part of let's see what we can do and stays in the I'm the enforcer part. We will not be back here. read more

Love the food and love the service. it's not too loud and a fun and nice looking environment. so far I've never had a bad service here. the wait staff are all kind and check on you regularly. the food is really good and a great price. I'm not a drinker but their brunch drinks do look really good and they have a verity of choice. I would definitely recommend this place to others. read more

Made a return visit the other morning for Breakfast and was not so good. Ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and there was a hint of either crawfish or some type of seafood. . . . not sure if they double dipped the spoon / ladle but I do not like my gravy tasting like seafood. Pancake was amazing as usual and the coffee and service is always good. I think I just made a wrong turn at the menu and should have ordered something else. read more

We we were looking for a new spot for breakfast, and decided to give this place a try. Ambience and decor was fresh and inviting. It has "Austin" feel. Great little deck outside. A ton of natural wood in decor. Now on to the food... best orange juice I have ever drank. Freshly squeezed my guess. We didn't have coffee, but will next visit. I had chicken fried steak and eggs and toast and gravy. My husband had chicken and waffles. Fantastic batter and seasoning on both. Eggs fresh and fluffy. Gravy fantastic. We stopped in for breakfast on a random Friday. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The food was amazing! My husband had the Cajun Eggs Benedict which was unique and absolutely delicious. I had blueberry pancakes. They were fluffy, huge (I couldn't even finish one pancake) and delicious! Great little brunch restaurant! Loved the food with a nice Cajun flair. We had the grits and pulled pork and also ordered the eggs and chicken fried steak. The grits and pulled pork was really good! My Boyfriend and I came in August 11, 2019 for Brunch. The Restaurant was extremely clean. The service was Excellent and the food is Incredible. I had the Classic Eggs Benedict, I always start with that as it's my favorite dish and I judge by who has the best. We like to try new places and write reviews on them. We have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was reasonably priced. I We will refer our family and friends. We will be back. This place was Ok. I wanted so much for it to be great! I had the basic bacon and egg breakfast. Potatoes weren't seasoned at all, which was was big disappointment. Biscuit was undercooked and boring. On the upside the bacon and coffee were great. Boyfriend had the gumbo --wonderful flavor but the shrimp were mush; like they had been simmering in the gumbo overnight instead of being added the last few minutes. There seemed to be a lot of servers but they weren't well organized and it took longer than it should have for the good to come out. It wouldn't take much to train the staff and some small changes in food preparation and presentation would go a long way! Bottom line, there is better food to be had but this place is close so I may give it another try. read more

Ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuit & scrambled eggs- the cfs was unbearably salty, the biscuit was hard, and the eggs looked and tasted powdered. They were out of gumbo. The waiter didn't even come back to check on the meal except to bring the ticket to pay. He insisted the eggs were not powdered - but I've been to enough hotel continental breakfasts to know powdered eggs. No manager was on duty to bring these concerns to their intention. read more

I was very disappointed in this place. Wanted to try something new for my birthday and give my business to a local business. The crab cakes were horrible no taste and was not crispy at all. Ordered a simple cold brew iced coffee to go. Wanted it black, when they asked if I wanted a flavor added I told them no. They took my order and I waited about 5 minutes. When they brought it to me, it has cream and was sweetened. I told them I had wanted it black and if I could please have it that way. They replied it's "required to have a flavor". I'm not sure what breakfast place is unable to serve black coffee. A waste of $4. read more

We tried this place out and it was pretty good! I got the breakfast sandwich and potatoes and it was really good. My only complaint was they didn't butter the bread before grilling. The food reminds me of dennys, im betting they get the food from the same company or a like company. the pancakes were HEAVY and so was the bisque, could knock out a person if you hit them in the head. The chicken fried steak was simply an insult to Texas. My waitress didn't seem to like my gender as I was treat differently than my wife and daughter. My wife also noticed the waitresses attitude toward me. I say if you want a Ihop or Dennys dinner with better pancakes and biques just go to them instead. Nothing super bad about the place but absolutely nothing remarkable about this place either. I cook better at home and I see no reason to spend my hard earned money at a place that cant cook any better than myself. read more

Excellent food, very poor service. Arrived around 11 on Saturday, waited for a booth to be clean, that took an unusually long time. Was seated by hostess, reviewed menu. Waiter took our drink order then disappeared for 10 minutes. Gave our food order on his return, requested Dr Pepper refill, didn't happen. Runner brought us food again requested refill, waiter brought it but never asked if my husband wanted more coffee, seemed inconvenienced when he asked for butter for his waffles. Meantime others around us seated afterwards had food and refills offered to them. Good food, nice environment but not worth my time. read more

This restaurant is near us. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. I had the biscuits and gravy and they were as good as any I have had. The side of grits was exceptionally nicely flavored and textured. I like the fact they use actual glass drinking glasses and very heavy silverware. Our grandson had their children's pancake. I had a few tastes and found it excellent. The M&Ms scattered on top provide a nice presentation and taste. The waitress was charming and helpful. They now have a long list of drinks including wine and beer. We hope they can someday open for evening dinner. read more

Have been there a few times and each time many wait staff on duty with 3 oftentimes standing behind the register but was told they couldn't seat us at one of the open tables as they were too busy - first time we left, second time we sat at the bar. read more

I would have made this 4 stars but because what I witnessed Saturday morning at breakfast made it a 2. I saw with my own eyes, a worker, older lady with colored glasses, sneeze hard into her hand, and then continue to pour drinks for the restaurants. Then, I saw her wipe her nose with her hand and continue to serve drinks. NEVER SEEING HER WASH HER HANDS. At times, she had her mask on and then she sometimes had it off, but even when she had it on, it was below her nose. Today's time, we must as customers put our trust that the people that are handling our food are following CDC guidelines. This women was obviously not. I don't think I will be coming again. That's too bad, because the food is really good. read more
