did need to be replaced and was probably the worst item there. But for under $20 for an unlimited sale bar...not bad. Three other members of our party did order sirloin steaks and all were very happy with their grilled options. They didn't rave about their steaks but also didn't have any concerns. So i would categorize that as successful. I didn't take any food pics but did want to take pics of their menu since i couldn't locate any updated versions. Would I return- yes

I remember when I was a kid,when my grandmother wanted to go to dinner,8 times out of 10 we always went to Sizzler because she loved it so much. The other times it was always Chinese because for some reason she loved egg foo young-a dish even now I still can't wrap my head around. Well anyways I really haven't eaten at Sizzler since my grandmother passed like 30 years but this year when my grandmothers birthday came up,my mother said she wanted to go to Sizzler for old times' sake-so let me tell you how it went. We decided to go to the location in Natomas on Advantage Way. This location has lots of parking as it shares a parking lot with a few other businesses. Not much has changed at Sizzler,as you walk in and the menu is still on the wall and once you know what you want,you walk up to the cashier and place your order. We decided to kind of go all out and order an entree to go along with unlimited salad bar. Here are the entrees we got. -Tri-Tip Sirloin ($21.99) -Steak and Jumbo Shrimp ($23.99) -Shrimp Shrimp Shrimp ($21.39) -Triple-licious ($26.99) We also added an unlimited salad bar to each meal for $9.99. Drinks cost $4.19 each with unlimited refills. Let's talk about the salad bar-I was very impressed with it-I loved it as a kid,loved it as a teenager and surprisingly still love it as an older adult. I found the options were plentiful and the dressings were tasty and I really enjoyed the hot bar.I made some really good tacos at their hot bar and I really enjoyed the broccoli cheese soup. The salad bar also included access to a dessert area and we all enjoyed the soft-serve that they had there. As far as the entrees went-well,a 2 or 3 protein option entree for less than $27,I kind of knew what I was getting,so for the money that was spent,it wasn't bad. They kind of season their food for the customer base that they have,so not overly seasoned but that's ok,it's Sizzler. In closing, we all agreed that we loved our visit to Sizzler and we just might make this an annual trip

Salad as usual was pretty good with plenty of choices in salads and salad dressings--so many dressings that it's sometimes difficult to reach without spilling one dressing into another. I usually get the clam chowder soup--luckily not overly salty and clammy tasting but a big challenge in actually finding any bite much less a regular bite sized clam piece by itself--if they were there they were microscopic. The same could be said about the broccoli and cheese soup--taste was okay but broccoli pieces looked like tiny circular green specs in the soup or green dots in the soup. The taco fillings were ok--I usually make a taco like salad rather than a taco itself. The other deli items were okay--I always like the large wedge potato pieces made from the left over baked potatoes(I presume) but they were a bit lukewarm unfortunately this time.

The service could be improved--I am not a picky patron by any means but the beverage was slow in arriving as was the cheese toast and the extra napkin I asked for never arrived. It was at lunch but the restaurant was not crowded so I...

remember salad bars were the craze? then the pandemic shut down all food buffets and salad bars. So it has been almost 10 years since i have eaten here. I heard it is still corporate owned and not franchised. Generally a plus for consistency. Overall...we had a very nice experience. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. No attitude at all. What a concept. Feeling welcomed into a place you don't mind patronizing. Ambience was also very pleasant and clean. Most of us wanted to re-experience their unlimited salad bar. So how was it? It was exactly what it was almost 10 years ago. I don't recall any major wilted items and most cold items seem fresh. From various lettuce options, array of dressing options, a few house made salad concoctions, and yes a wide assortment of basic salad toppings that would satisfy any picky eater. Although their jicama did seem a little "tired" and seafood salad had too much dressing. Super clean. Which is important for a buffet. The staff was even removing the booth seats and cleaning them. Impressive. I got the salad bar, enjoyed the variety or topping and many different dressings. The soup was pretty good. Always a fan of the hot bar, wings,nacho,taco area.

Met with a few Yelpers and new friends at Sizzler's in Natomas area for dinner. First time visiting this Sizzler spot which is located in a big plaza so there's plenty of parking. Typical big inside with lots of dining tables but also had several TVs tuned to sports channels. Well I haven't been to a Sizzler in over 20 years or so... ok I am aging myself... but on a serious note. Why haven't I came back sooner? I got this special with 2 size shrimp, fish and chips.. that was okay. It's the salad bar that is the reason why I felt I have been missing out all these years.... I only got the one trip with my meal. I think the next time I come, I'll have to just get the all you can eat salad bar. So many to choose from. From the toppings, to the pasta, to the dessert. I missed out as I watch my cousin. Get alll different types of foods from it. Did I mention chicken wings and fries too... Can't wait to come back! The service was great. Only four star this time because I didn't care for the meal that much.

I'm usually a big fan of Sizzler. But they closed most of the restaurants in the Sacramento area. Fortunately, we still have this one in Natomas. The food is still good, and the service is still excellent. The AYCE salad bar is still available, and it is very good. The dining room is comfortable, and many TVs all over the dining area with sports. Nice place to enjoy dinner with friends.

I have not been to Sizzler in decades. I didn't even know the restaurant chain still existed. We were at a small conference in Natomas and someone picked this restaurant for lunch. The line was short, and there weren't many customers there. I ordered a small sirloin steak with a baked potato. I just wanted a little taste of steak and not get too full. I ordered medium rare but my steak was more on the rare side. The quality of the steak was not the best. When I finished my meal, I went to another table to talk to a friend and noticed she had cheese bread. Sizzler's cheese bread!! I forgot all about them. They were my favorite. That said, I didn't get any cheese bread with my meal. They said you're supposed to ask for the bread. Hello?? Maybe the waitress should ask customers if they would like some. Our waitress didn't mentioned it, so I missed out! Nostalgic experience to eat at this old favorite from the 90's but the food was just okay. Wished the steak was better quality. Sad I didn't get cheese bread.

One of the best places to make your perfect salad! Salad bar is always fully stocked. Clam chowder is always a great option, other than getting wings, pasta, or creating your own tacos. And let's not forget about all the shrimp, steak and crab plates. Restaurant is always clean and well kept. All the workers are always friendly.

This was the smallest steak they had, I forgot what they called it.

I've previously ordered sizzler for delivery and I thought I'd come here after an appt with my husband. I know alot of people have some nostalgia with Sizzlers but I've only been once in my childhood during a field trip. It's definitely different. For those who have never been, you order when you first walk in. The menu is along the wall before you get to the cashier. I ordered the smallest steak they had, rice pilaf and the salad bar. My hubs ordered a burger, fries and the salad bar. We paid and then we chose our own seats. It was after lunch so the place was half full. Overall, I liked my steak and rice. I enjoyed the orange chicken and meatballs from the salad bar. But I hate to say it, but it was meh. Mid. The booths were comfy, the place was clean. Probably won't be back since there are so many other options around.

Well my peeps this particular Sizzler is truly a step above your normal Sizzler. The Salad bar was stocked and well maintained for presentation. Food was definitely well prepared and served allowing you to enjoy your salads. Service was great even though we did have to wait at times for refills of beverages but okay. Staff were very courteous and organized. The interior was very next level compared to the older facilities even though this one was at least 12 years old we were told. I apologize for no food pictures only interior views. I guess I will have to return and finish the job right . If you're passing thru the area from especially the central valley stop by and check this family favorite out. SYOY

Well it's been a few decades since I visited a Sizzler but I am glad I came. Given we were there at 4pm the place was clean and the food was fresh. We had the AYCE salad bar $20. There is a really nice selection of salads and ingredients like eggs and bacon. The hot food includes soups, wings, spaghetti and meatballs, orange chicken and taco/nacho bar. The orange chicken was surprisingly tasty. To top everything off there is soft serve ice cream and brownies for dessert. Nice place to visit when you want a large selection of food to eat!

We ended up eating here because we couldn't make up our minds on what to eat! We have always loved Sizzler and for some reason, went to the location in S. Sac, forgetting that this location was here. We have eaten here a few times in the past few years and the difference in locations is night and day. I think the staff here are able to keep up with the customer requests, while the other location was always overwhelmed. My hubby and I were saying that Sizzler is the closest thing we have anymore that is similar to Fresh Choice when you could just be so satisfied with a salad! Natomas has a great staff, we had Alegandro as our server and we appreciate him. Pleasant demeanor and our daughter said he was nice! Thanks for the good food and atmosphere! read more

Stopped by Sizzler this evening! Food was amazing and fresh. We want to give two huge shout outs. First to Lexi! She was on it tonight stopping by the table several times asking if there was anything we needed. Gave us to go cups and we didn't even ask for them! She's top-notch! Plus she has a beautiful smile that is so welcoming! Second we sat near the salad bar and we were so impressed with Jose's display of hard work, while so many people coming and going and he had no problem keeping the food coming, keeping the area clean and presentable! Great job Jose!! Hey management these two deserve a raise, going the extra extra mile to provide excellent customer service! Late afternoon and Nostalgia struck us for a visit to Sizzler. So glad there is one left in the area. Restaurant was very clean and minimally full when we arrived during the in between lunch and dinner rush. Made for a chill experience. We had 2 salads bars.....Food was what we expected. Great salad bar selection as usually. And the cheese bread! So good we had seconds. Hostess who we ordered with was very nice and polite. We had Veordo as our server. He was fantastic. 5 stars for the absolutely clean and spotless location. Staff do an excellent job maintaining cleanliness of the salad bar and facilities, so they're always presentable to patrons. I really appreciate that, please keep up the great work! Sizzler is still around in 2025 when dining options have evolved to more modern and trendy places. Yet it's been my dad's favorite place to eat an unbothered and relaxing lunch with the unlimited salad bar. Here's to many more years ahead. read more

The salad bar is the best one we have found thus far. Plenty of choices to choose from. Our waitress,Monica, was very pleasant and curious, making sure we were well taken for. The cashier,Carlos, was very pleasant and very polite. During a lunch rush, the team helped out our waitress. From the manager to the cashier and busboy, it was nice to see the camaraderie with this staff. The restaurant has a clean and spacious feel, the ambiance has a home feel to it. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. read more

We usually hit up Sizzler when we're headed to or from Sac Airport. Stopped in for an early dinner tonight. It was fairly empty at 4:30 A couple of things stood out on this particular visit. We did a soup & salad bar and tonight the food was really good. The salad bar was well stocked and super clean and the plates were cold. I had the beef veggie soup and chicken wings and both were super good. The waitstaff Debra and Aseelah were very attentive. Took care of us very well. We did encounter a customer related issue which we reported and the manager came by and addressed it quickly and resolved it. Overall a great experience but the price was bit high, I thought for soup/salad. $41 read more

Our friends come to Sizzler just about once a week but we've been here with them before but I don't think I've ever wrote a review but if you see two reviews I'm getting old and forgetful. Anyways, the Natomas Sizzler is the nearest restaurant from Elk Grove and it's always clean and the salad bar is closely attended and items are fresh. I normally go for the AYCE salad bar because it's not just salad but comes with a choice of 4 different soups, chicken wings, spaghetti and taco bar so I find the AYCE salad bar filling enough. The restaurant attendants are always friendly and comes by frequently and this day we had Aseelah and she was very attentive and hopefully you see and get served by her. read more

I requested the caramelized pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and dressing on the side since I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the sweet toppings. The salad looked decent at first, but once I got home, I quickly realized the peaches were old, bland, and completely lacking flavor. It was such a disappointment, especially considering it's the middle of July, when peaches should be at their peak. There were only a few strawberries scattered throughout, and the ratio of fruit and red onions to the large amount of greens felt way off. Honestly, I hate when I can make a better salad at home. Experiences like this are a big reason why I don't visit Jack's Urban Eats very often. On the positive side, the staff were cordial and the atmosphere was relaxed. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. I'd skip the seasonal Peach & Goat Cheese Salad unless they improve the quality of the fruit.

The ingredients are fresh and I love their flavor combination. I would love if the bowl came with a scoop of mac salad, but with the portion at this price I'm happy to add it as a side. I ordered the spring rolls ($4) and it came with five pieces of crispy and flavorful fried spring rolls. Great value for the price. I also ordered the pork laulau ($14) and Musubi ($3) for my husband and the portions on these were also great. The musubi was hot and flavorful and they gave me some FOB sauce with the musubi that went surprising well together. The laulau plate had mac salad, rice, and the wrapped pork. The pork was fattier than some of the laulau I've had in Hawaii, but was flavorful and the whole plate was a perfect portion for the price. The team working here was very friendly and helped me get in and out with my to-go order pretty quickly. The food was packed with care and made it home and was still nice and hot after the drive. They use high quality to-go containers and line them with aluminum foil which is a nice touch. They also made sure the vents were open on the spring rolls so they'd stay crispy. They have plenty of seating inside, as well as some outdoor seating. This restaurant is a bit tucked away, but has plenty of parking. The picture truly speaks for itself. My family and I visited to enjoy steak and the salad bar, as we have done before. Initially, our server was pleasant; however, the service declined significantly after we sent a steak back because it was cooked medium-rare instead of well-done as ordered. When the steak was returned to our table, it was placed burnt side down, which was extremely disappointing. I found it concerning that such a steak would be served to any guest. I approached our server to address the issue, and his response was, "I don't know what you want to do. Do you want your money back?" I explained that we came to dine and simply wanted a properly prepared meal. He responded, "Okay," but there was no further effort to resolve the situation. I later noticed that the manager was working on the grill, which raised additional concerns about how the steak was allowed to leave the kitchen in that condition. The manager did not come to our table to address the issue, even after I requested to speak with him. We asked for to-go boxes, but they were not brought to us until I followed up a second time and stated that we no longer wanted the steak and would just take boxes as we were leaving. As we were preparing to leave, the manager finally came out to issue a refund. I expressed that the service we received was unacceptable and that, as the manager, he should have personally addressed the situation to ensure a better guest experience. We would have been willing to wait for a new steak; however, we did not receive drink refills or any communication regarding the delay, which gave us the impression that our table was not a priority. Open communication is essential in customer service. If the restaurant was short-staffed or experiencing challenges, a simple explanation would have made a significant difference. Instead, we were left waiting without updates while our food grew cold. Unfortunately, management had little to say about the experience. Due to this experience, we will not be returning. read more

I like to go to a lot of buffet's. I like the idea of paying $13.00 for an all I can eat meal. I would pay the same thing at a normal restaurant. More depending on where. So this place has a great menu first of all. I love the salad bar. Sometimes the soup and bread seem a little dated. But never inedible. They have a nice selection of vegetables, dressings, and other assorted items. The fruit is a hit and miss with freshness as well. The main dishes are always really good. I usually get the bacon wrapped fillet. I am telling you, all you can eat salad bar, and bacon wrapped fillet with baked potato and garlic bread. I am about to go right now. The service is always friendly as well. Some places over do it with the whole hello in your face how is everything tasting approach. They seem to get it. They do ask if you would cut into your steak to make sure that it is to your liking as they stand next to you waiting for your approval. A little weird for me, but acceptable. I like this place. I like sizzler but this location sucks ! They don't have pork chops. Creepy girl w/ too much make up taking my moneys up front = weird vibe from the start. And I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from the clam chowder ! If unstoppable shaking for an hour and diarrhea 3 hours after clam chowder isn't food poisoning then Im confused. I was really close to going to the emergency room, but after reading some facts using various web sites on the internet, I went to the store and bought gatorades and water and began the flushing of the system. I called the manager the next day, asked for a general manager and the shift manager tells me she's the general manager and treats me like some low life trying to get free food ! She had no shame ! Pleasantly surprised at the great food and service. I have only been to Sizzler's a few times in the past and don't recall my experience. I went with my dad and family on Christmas. They had a long line but it was worth the wait as most places were closed on Christmas. I found the manager and our waitress as well as the cashier to be very nice and helpful. I ordered a hamburger and fries. Not really a Christmas meal, but it I was actually very good. And to prove this was not just a one-time experience, we went back to Sizzler Natomas yesterday with family that came to town. Same great experience. We will be back for sure. read more

The best Sizzler I've been to! Beautiful inside lighting, very nice décor. Always very clean and perfectly maintained dining area and restrooms. (The complete opposite of the disgusting Napa Sizzler.) Not low priced, like Sizzler's once were, but the quality of the food is much improved. We stopped in for lunch and we were famished. Decided to have the Lunch salad bar and the selection was delicious. The salads were fresh, and the fruit was delicious. The chicken wings and potato wedges were so flavorful. Our server, Alegandro was extremely pleasant and professional. Excellent service, I will definitely return. Highly recommend!! read more

The food at Sizzler is consistent. The salad bar was clean and just what we wanted. Everything was clean and full. The service from Alegandro was good. The bread was hot. Just had another great meal at Sizzler and our waitress Monica was awesome. She was working all the tables and we never wanted for anything. Typically you have to wait for them to come around but she was there before we could ask. She definitely deserves a pat on the back and should be the employee of the month she was so good. read more

I got a great deal on it as I came before 10am and they had a special. Even with the deal, I found the menu prices to be very reasonable. The food is exactly what you would expect from a diner such as this. But what was a little surprising was that it wasn't super greasy. The bacon and sausage were well cooked and my over-medium eggs were just right. The flavors weren't upscale in any sense, but they do the job for what it is. If you're looking for a very traditional American diner experience that doesn't break the bank, you can't do much better than Eppies.

Panera has an efficient and friendly kitchen and surely they could wash and hand tear the salad greens and remove the stems.
