Ran a few errands along Hawthorne Blvd when hunger pangs kicked in. I also wanted to try something new and as I drove by, this popped out more than any other place. So I turned into the parking lot. It was early lunch-ish so the line was short. My go-to was the steak and AYCE shrimp back in the day, but knowing my metabolism is not as high, decided on the steak and jumbo crispy shrimp. Got an Arnold Palmer to wash it down. Sat on a booth, welcomed by my awesome server Ebony not too long after, got my receipt and was back not too long after that with my grub. Service was fast! My steak was a perfect medium. Jumbo crispy shrimp was made to order hot, crispy on the outside juicy in the inside and rice pilaf was perfect. Other than a dab of A1 steak sauce here and there, seasoning on everything on my plate was amazingly delicious and satisfying. FOOD: 5. Excellent. It's exactly what I wanted and got! SERVICE: 5. Ebony checked on me often to make sure I had everything I needed. She picked up clutter I may have built up. She was perfect. VALUE: 5. Not too bad for the quality and quantity. PARKING: Private lot shared with others. Huge. Not an issue. OVERALL: 5. The experience was so good, I came through a second time with company before I got the chance to write a review. Ebony, once again, was excellent. On a personal note, Sizzlers brings back so many childhood memories. As a kid, we frequented their location in K*Town back in the day for special occasions. That totally hit the mark on these last two visits. Can't wait to go back!

Had a classic sizzler steak and potato plate. The steaks are always spot on with sizzler. The ambiance is classic sizzler with a recent remodel so it looks refreshed. Service was fast despite being a busy night.

It's a Japanese steakhouse specializing in Wagyu but they have plenty of other options as well. We ended up getting the ribeye (16oz) which was cooked to perfection. For sides, we also ordered the lobster mac n cheese (8/10), roasted wild mushroom (9.5/10) and not pictured is the smooth mashed potatoes (9.5/10). Everything was great, we went for my birthday and they took a polaroid picture of us! The restaurant wasn't busy while we dined in on a Tuesday night so it was quiet, so maybe weekends might be more crowded. The staff is super nice, very knowledgeable about the menu, and had plenty to say about each item.

I ordered the lobster and had the manager smell it, it smelt sour and had a bad taste. i was not eaten. i also addressed the horrible service by the 19 year old waiters they have. my wife steak came out 15 minutes before all the other food so she waited for the other food and by then her food was cold. I do not mind spending $750 for a meal but between the horrible service and the inability for the manager to do the right thing my the evening unenjoyable and I would recommend everyone stay as far away as possible. i thing my biggest issue is that the manager acknowledged the lobster may be spoiled but still left it on the bill. if you see all my previous reviews i usually never go negative but this place is horrible.

For a steakhouse, you would expect a higher standard of service. Our rvsp for a party of 6 was at 1:30pm. We got seated at 1:45pm. Our server right off the bat mentioned he is not familiar with brunch and is usually only here for dinner and couldn't help us on the menu. We ordered our drinks and one appetizer which came out in about 10 mins. We ordered our food at 1:50pm. It is now 3:10 pm. You do the math. People around our table who got here before us still didn't get their food either. The server came by after 45 mins and apologized and admitted they were not prepared. The server offered complimentary bottomless mimosas which was appreciated but didn't make up for the wait. Literally 3 tables next me were so unhappy. I had to apologize to my mom for the wait at I hope this would be a great steakhouse experience. Sad to report I won't be coming here again. Update it is now 3:20 and we decided to leave after no food. The manager apologized and gave us a complimentary steak to share before departing. Sorry mom!

Would I say they have the best prime rib around? No. But it is pretty damn satisfying. When here, I always order the Franciscan cut Prime Rib cooked to medium (it's 3/4 pounds), house salad with ranch dressing, and steak fries. They throw in a loaf of sourdough bread with whipped butter. The prime rib is very tender and has plenty of fat. We all know fat equals flavor. The only thing I would change about it, and I keep forgetting to ask the server each time I'm here, is to have it served without the au jus already in the plate. Don't get me wrong. The au jus is fantastic, but when the prime rib is served in a pool of it, the meat becomes soggy. Served separately, I think the prime rib would be even better. In addition to the prime rib, the salad and steak fries are incredibly delicious. The salad is nothing fancy, but very tasty due to the ranch dressing it comes with. Wish I knew the recipe of the dressing. The steak fries pair perfectly with the prime rib. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only thing I would say is pretty average is the sourdough bread. Although it comes out warm, I don't get the sense that they're freshly baked. The service here is phenomenal. The servers are attentive, polite, and efficient. Can't ask for anything more from them. If you're looking for a trendy spot with contemporary decor and pretentious vibes, this place is not for you. This is an old school steakhouse with red upholstered booths and soft music playing in the background. If you live in the South Bay, and you're looking for a classic prime rib experience, this is a place you should check out.

When I first started coming here, the smallest cut was only $25, which felt like an incredible deal. Prices have gone up over the years, and it's now $37 for the smallest cut, but even with the increase, it's a place I continue to return to because the quality and experience have remained consistently good. I always order the prime rib medium rare with the soup and French fries. The prime rib is consistently delicious, flavorful, and tender, with a rich beefy flavor that really hits the spot. It's cooked just the way I like it, and every visit reminds me why I've been coming back for so many years. The portions are generous, and the meal is satisfying from start to finish. One of the things I appreciate most about this restaurant is its classic atmosphere. The interior feels like a step back in time, with an old-school charm that is becoming harder to find these days. It has the feel of a traditional steakhouse from the 1960s, and the nostalgic vibe adds a lot to the overall dining experience. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a good meal, and appreciate a piece of local history. There is a parking lot available, which is definitely a plus, although it can be surprisingly easy to miss if you're visiting for the first time. Just keep an eye out as you're approaching the restaurant. While I miss the days when the prime rib was only $25, I understand that prices have gone up everywhere. The fact that I've continued coming here for six years says a lot about how much I enjoy the food and atmosphere. If you've never been and you're a fan of prime rib, this is a spot that's well worth checking out at least once. Chances are you'll find yourself planning a return

The server was really nice but the service was pretty slow. We spent a bit of time just looking around for our server or someone to help us. I'll also mention the lunch menu does not offer a dessert menu so if you're looking for a treat at the end of your meal, you can always walk to the riviera and grab something at another restaurant. The inside of this space is very nice and there was plenty of nice natural light coming through, which I loved since the day outside was so pretty. The ramen, without the broth, was also very interesting and very good as well. The winner was the breakfast sandwich. A lot going on in it, and I'm typically not a sausage fan, but this was really tasty, no complaints from anyone at the table. Good location, quality cocktails and good brunch items, if you're in Hermosa Beach on a weekend, give Ryla a taste to meet your brunch needs

Let's not get political (please) - it's Yelp after all…read more I chose here this year for my husband's annual birthday brunch! He loves a decadent brunch. Who doesn't? And after a number of years patroning the Four Season's Beverly Hills brunch on Doheny I wanted to try something new. There's not many decadent, birthday worthy brunch options in our post Covid world. So when I found this one, read the menu and saw the price point I was ALL in. And my goodness it blew last year at the four seasons away by a lot!!! (They dipped significantly after Covid - not the same value). The Trump had EVERYTHING you could want in a brunch. Sushi, free flowing champagne, prime rib, crepes, crab, waffles, eggs Benedict, pancakes, chocolate dipped fruit, breads, bagels, cheeses, salad, Korean short ribs, shrimp, shrimp scampi, pasta, omelettes, oysters, fruit & figs, and sausage & bacob. I know for a fact I am missing offerings. It was world class, A+ with live music and wonderful service. The views of the pacific were gorgeous on our blustery day. My goodness it was so pretty. We were not rushed at all. It wasn't cramped or crowded. I loved it! And I'd definitely make this a recurring birthday treat for him. It was absolutely worth it.

The food was great! No complaints there. The service however, was absurd! Actually, non-existent…read more The table next to us literally had to go to the bar and retrieve their own drinks. No one checked on us, it took way too long to get served and when we finally did, it was with an attitude. Our appetizer order was also forgotten. The restaurant had only 2 tables of guests, including us. Shocking for a Saturday night. So the excuse of being busy isn't going to fly here. We will not be back. Although I enjoyed the food, being ignored and treated like crap doesn't make it worth it. If you want decent food, excellent service by the sea, I'd recommend going to Redondo Beach or Hermosa Beach. ANYWHERE but here!
