I called Jake (my contact at Lifestyles) and he walked me through some basic troubleshooting. The following morning, they sent 'Super Rescue' Bruce with an enclosed trailer to pick up my Spyder. Note: I live far south of dealership in Monroe, WA. The shop found a weak battery, replaced it and updated the software. In the meantime, I had worked out a plan to pick up the vehicle on Friday morning. My partner is a bit ill but being a trooper, she would oblige the long trip to drop me off at the dealer. To my surprise and thankful glee, Bruce called me early this morning to say he was on the way to return the Spyder to our home. He picked up the bike April 1, 2020. The repair was delayed due to a part shipment but was completed on April 20th. I was sick, so paid over the phone via his square up. I had originally done paperwork for this consignment in 2018, but ended up not taking the bike in as there was a delay in Matt picking up for me. So, I felt this was going to be a positive experience. Matt assured me he had lots of interest in Harley's as he had just sold one the prior week and would get mine on his updated website/Facebook soon. My periodic observation did not confirm his words. I was very ill and isolated at home for the next few months and wasn't able to stay on top of this process. To my knowledge, there's been no serious offers on my bike. 2011 XL883L HD with 400 original miles, so I wanted to discuss dropping the price. $5000 asking...no hanging tag on my bike in his shop. (seen through the window) I left a note on the door yesterday, 8-6-2020. The number to the business is disconnected, he is not answering me on his cell. As a combat veteran, I try to think outside the box and remain hopeful that this young man with over 20 years mechanical experience will do the right thing and face his customers as he is young and has many years of opportunity to experience. I actually had to go to Lynnwood motoplex (who I do not like) to get them to give me the ktm 1k rebate.... Parts manager I can't remember is name is super awesome friendly and knowledgeable. Props to him this is why I still go there. They are ok to run in and grab oil and a filter or basic part needs skid plates etc. I like supporting local bike shops vs online but I would agree overall experience isn't great.
