Came here with the bride to be, the morning before her wedding. It was very disappointing service. The food was great, portions were small (that's not a bad thing). Our server, Jacinth, was extremely unfriendly and rude. Couldn't answer any questions and seemed annoyed we came to eat there. If you go, avoid Jacinth. My favorite place for brunch now. This tops Ritz Carlton breakfast buffet & Crackle Barrel which I considered high up in my go to places for brunch until today! Kids enjoyed their chocolate pancakes with warm maple syrup which gives it that extra touch . Hubby enjoyed his Pico de gallo breakfast burrito . I devoured my eggs Benedict . Skillets is always a decent place to have breakfast or lunch. With more than a handful of locations, you really can guarantee consistency in food. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4 star because to date I have not been wowed by the service at this location. It's a tad bit on the slow side. In the Pelican Bay area, some would expect that a lot of customers are on vacation mode, but in order to maintain business in a not so visible location as the Pavillion, you need to take your yearly business people into consideration for longevity. So, there's my rant. You'll always leave Skillets full because they have a great spread of substantial breakfast choices. Their corned beef hash is rich and is the real deal...not the canned stuff. I personally enjoy the veggie frittata with egg whites and it's jampacked with a ton of vegetables...which allows the egg whites to be thicker and fluffy. They have a beautiful umbrella-ed patio area which is a hot commodity in season, and they have adopted a community high top table, even with added signage, in the back of the restaurant for those who feel guilty for taking a whole table to themselves or who want to make conversation with strangers over the front page article. I particularly like this location because it is tucked away and not as exposed as some of the other locations, but this could be a downfall too. They're starting to rebuild the Pavillion up a little bit more ever since they lost Publix and the post office, so I have high hopes that this place will continue to do well. read more

We've been here a couple of times when we come to stay on Vanderbilt Beach. We noticed right away that this year there didn't seem to be as many people as before. We went the first day and service was okay but the food was not as good as previous years. While we weee there a party of 6 was waiting at the door and there were no employees in site. They were standing there 5 min and left. Great move! We decided to go back another day to give them a second chance. This time the food was just as bad and the service was worse. I don't understand as there were maybe 5 tables tops with customers. We will not return again. read more

Nice and quick breakfast spot if you're staying in Naples. I actually went twice on my trip because it was so close to our hotel. Both times my service was great. Their prices are comparable to other breakfast restaurants I thought. I got the Biscuits and Gravy the first time. My only complaint is I wish the server would have shared I could get one biscuit instead of two for a lower price because it was so much food. I didn't even touch the second biscuit. The 2nd time I just got a omlette which was just as good. You can also get their skillet cheesy potatoes or just regular hash browns. I'd recommend trying the cheesy ones or if you're with someone get one of each. read more

One of my favorite breakfast and lunch, brunch places in Naples. Came here for Father's Day brunch and it was excellent. They gave everyone free raisin scones. I always get the skillet with 3 cheese blend, mushrooms, avacado with scrambled eggs and the potatoes all in a skillet. I also got the pecan waffle which I shared with my son. The waffle is different and kinda malted. The portions are big and prices low. The biscuits are great too which come with entrees, actually you get a choice of items, but I get biscuit. The atmosphere is kinda country kitchen with light wood chairs and tables and country kitchen knick knacks. The staff is amazing and treat you like family. This is one of the newer locations, I have been to almost all of them. Love this place. read more

This place has an awesome Breakfast! I usually don't eat Blintzes, I tried their Blueberry Blintz combo and it was SO good. We like this Skillets so much that we take the extra time to get there from where we live. Husband loves the Sunrise Benedict. All of our 5 adult kids love it at Skillets too, cheesy hashbrowns are a favorite. Every dish breakfast or lunch is cooked to perfection. You can't go wrong. Skillets is definitely one of our favorite breakfast spots! We have a huge 110 pound service dog that they treat like a king. They always put us in a booth so he can hide away and not be bothered. For non service dogs there are bowls of water outside and a very comfortable eating area. It's shaded and perfect. The people who work here rock. They are so helpful and kind. First and last time at this restaurant. I went in and ordered then I asked for a ceiling fan to be turned off because it was freezing. The waitress said ok then never did anything so I asked (very nicely)to move tables and wow that made her mad so she only came back to deliver my food and throw the check on my table. HUGE menu catering to ALL food wishes and wants! They really do it right here -- the interior has huge pictures of many of the menu items, and it's those images that helped me make my final decision. There are several veggie breakfast choices and many meaty choices of course. Our server was very friendly in answering a couple of nutritional questions that I had, and was prompt and friendly in delivering our meals and following up. This place seems that they would get really busy. We were there the day after Christmas when most people were probably with their families, but it was still very busy. The outdoor seating is nice for those who prefer some sun, as there were only a few tables that offered shade. We chose to eat inside, and really glad I did simply because of the interior images. I'm not a chain gal whatsoever, but I do realize this place has a few locations, all local. This location in a strip mall should not scare anyone away. We used to go there regularly to have a breakfast on the patio. We enjoy having a meal outside but not be subjected to the noise, smell of carbon monoxide and flying debris. Today we left before ordering because of demolition happening next door. Workers carring trash and broken drywall practically next to the tables where people are eating. Last week landcsapers spoiled our mood by blowing debris on our food. We had chunks floating in our water glasses. I know we could eat indoors but in that case there are many better restaurants nearby. read more
