Best breakfast spot in Naples. I recommend anyone who is visiting Naples to skip breakfast at your hotel and come here. This is better than your local IHOP or Dennys. Food was amazing , reasonable prices , the servers are friendly and they have a wide variety of options on their menu. We had the smoked salmon and eggs on a bagel (melt in your mouth smoked salmon), banana chocolate crepes (delicious) and a chicken apple sausage ( a must have). This is our first time in Naples and we asked locals where we could get the best breakfast so we decided to give it a try. It was amazing! I had the corned beef hash skillet with the special potatoes that come with cream cheese and chives. The mix of flavors was great! Everything is so fresh and most f the menu is homemade. My husband had the pancakes and they were also perfectly fluffy. The OJ was also great. We are coming back tomorrow for more! The service was also excellent. Highly recommended read more

Pretty good little breakfast place, but it's ruined by a big tv running Fox News all day. I understand that Naples, with it's preponderance of wealthy retirees, is traditionally conservative, but it also attracts a lot of visitors from other parts of the country. If Skillets wants them to feel comfortable too, they should change the channel to something less partisan. read more

My fiancé and I get brunch every weekend and this was definitely a good place to go to. In our opinion is a little over priced but it is definitely good food. Definitely on the heavier side of breakfast, if you plan on coming here for breakfast don't make plans for lunch any time soon! I got a frittata and it came with greens and a little fruit cup. We were visiting from out of town and were pleased with our food the first breakfast we ate there. I have allergies and they were accommodating though the waitress wasn't friendly. The second time I returned on my own I ordered the same thing but they make a mistake. Absolutely love Skillets! Our family of 10 and a baby ate here for breakfast 4 days in a row on our recent Fourth of July vacation in Naples. This is the second year in a row we visit this location. Breakfast menu is so varied that I was able to try something new each day. Especially loved the different skillet breakfasts such as the Denver and the Veggie. The pancakes were delicious as well. Service was great each day. They treated us like family and the General Manager Sue was even nice enough to tell us to call ahead the next day so they would have our table ready since we were such a big party. I wouldn't blacklist it, but wouldn't go back again unless I didn't want to go further than 1/4 mile for breakfast. We were greeted quickly, seated quickly but that's where the attentiveness ended. Our server was polite and friendly, but not prompt or attentive. We didn't see her nearly enough and had to wait way too long to order, get the check, get our drinks refilled. The normal staples like butter & syrup with pancakes weren't brought out. When we had to ask, she said "Some parents don't want that stuff for their kids.". Fine - but ask us before the food is getting cold; that conversation should happen before the cakes hit the table, not after. My food: biscuits and gravy was super boring. Nothing special about it at all, and the biscuits were dry enough to wipe the ocean floor and the eggs were so dry I wondered if they used any oil or butter to cook them? Tasted more like they were boiled. Boring, flavorless, yuck. I had tried to order the eggs benedict with potato pancakes that I heard was good, but being allergic to onions I was told the "potato mix" is pre-made and it could not be made onion free. Yikes. Potato Mix? How long in advance is this stuff made and why the heck can't the kitchen put potato pancakes together without onions? Is this a factory or a kitchen? In fairness my wife said that the dish I wanted and she got to eat was fantastic. She really enjoyed the food. The kids chocolate pancakes for 5 bucks a piece was a ripoff. They came with nothing and both kids ate everything and still wanted more. A few days ago we went to Goldies, and got awesome food, awesome service for 2/3rds of what we paid at Skillets. Ok it's Easter. Got a table, no problem. There were 10 open inside plus the large empty comminity table. There were several tables outside empty. It was just me so I asked for inside just to be nice to whomever might want to sit outside. It's a beautiful day. Just got out of work and it's nearly noon. Got seated at a two top. Looked over the menu, it's fairly good size. After a few good minutes of review I started looking for a waitress. At least 9 staff members walked by me No one said a word. So I sat waiting. And waiting. I gave it 5 more minutes. Now I'm trying to make eye contact with anyone working that walks by. Nothing. Of the 6 or 7 staffers that kept walking by no one made eye contact or asked if I wanted a coffee or to order or if I had amy questions. Nothing. Again I waited. Few more minutes and.....I'm out. I went to Joe's Diner down the street. Got service and served wicked quick. I just moved to the area. I wont be back to Skillets. The country fried steak at Jones is amazing! read more

Interior reminded me of Minnesota-ranger-station-meets-beaver-dam. A lot of wood. If wood is your thing then you'll feel right at home. Otherwise, the outside seating is a pleasant option. Whole wheat pancakes were delightful and can be optionally stuffed with many different things, kind of like those girls on the street cards in Vegas. More great egg options than a fertility clinic, and buddy, that's saying something. Stay away from the croissant French toast. Sounds good, right? It's a deceptive facade. I rarely rave about a breakfast but this one was exceptional. Got the potato and egg skillet and it was scrumptious. The potatoes had a slight taste of sour cream and the bacon on top was delish. Also got blueberry pancakes which were the size of my head and were amazing. They rivaled Cracker Barrel. Syrup was heated to perfection and the whipped butter was the icing on the cake. I don't think that my bottom had settled in the booth before the server was taking our drink order. So bummed out because I love my Skillets' Skillet. First time visiting this location. The food was good as usual. The only complaint -actually two.... We were sat at a table that had a sticky edge. We asked for a wet towel to wipe it down. Now most people would wipe the table down but noooooooo she waited for us to do her job. Second complaint is that no one came back to the table to see how things were.
