Food is good and I get that prices are crazy for restaurant owners. We really try and support businesses we like but we had to look several times to make sure our bill was correct. $46 for two burgers , one side salad one side fries, one beer and a can of pop. The can of soda was $3.50. Put down a tip you are well over $50 for burger meal. We will still go because the food is YUMMY but it's going to be less often and no $3.50 single can of pop. read more

Omg! This place has the best burgers. I had a mushroom Swiss burger that was unlike anything I've ever had. The ciabatta bun was so fresh. I didn't realize fries are ordered separately as a side but I know that now. I'll be back as soon as I head back to Waldport. read more

This was the best food we had here on the Oregon coast hands down. The portions were massive. The ingredients were fresh. The service was great. All of the employees seemed happy and like they enjoyed their job. The seating was really limited inside and seating outside is right on the side of highway 101. Just finishing up a two week vacation in the Waldport and Newport area. Played "Smash Burger Wars". Last stop and for the gold winning first place is Skosh The others are good too so not naming them but Skosh was fantastic. Also had their chicken salad and pulled pork sandwich. The blackened fish tacos were really good. You can get 1 or 2. Not enough fish inside but still amazing. We also got the smoked chicken quesadilla which was really tasty & smoky. You order your food and can go sit outside but there is a gas station right next to where you eat so it does smell like diesel/gasoline at times. It's a really small spot. I got the cheese steak, it was spicy and tasted like it had canned cheese on it. Very sloppy messy. I had a salad and requested ranch dressing. They must only have one dressing and it was a bit fishy and bitter tasting. My husband had a smash burger and it had jalapeños on it, too many. Jalapeños were not listed on the ingredients list. The fries were good. We took our meal to go as it was very noisy and Trey had the music too loud. The guy who took our order was nice. My sandwich was $17.50. Stopped for lunch here the other day based on all the great reviews on Yelp. I was not disappointed. I ended up ordering the Yee-Haw Burger which is a 1/4 pound patty, Cheddar cheese, Fried Onions, Bacon Jam and BBQ sauce. The bacon jam and BBQ sauce are both homemade. I thought the sauce made the burger incredibly delicious. I also liked the fried onions on the burger. The combination of everything on the burger made this an outstanding hamburger. The owner came out and checked on us as we were eating to make sure everything was ok. Nice touch. read more

The food is decent. It's not great but it's not bad, and our options here are limited. What I struggle with is the owner's treatment of his staff. It's deplorable, and unnecessary. He can be rude and verbally abusive. I know it's hard to find good help in business on the coast, but when you do, you need to treasure it. My wife and I were camping near Waldport, but had only brought snacks and food for a nice dinner at the campsite. After a 4 hour drive, and running around on the beach for a while, we were FAMISHED! Fortunately, I had already scoped out places on Yelp prior to the trip, so I told her "I know a place", and off to Skosh we went. When we went, the Oregon mask mandate was still in place, so we placed our order online as we sat outside. I had parked kinda far away, so I went to grab the vehicle to bring it closer. When I pulled in, an employee popped out and said "Are you Chris?", and I said "Yep!". She already had our food prepared and handed me the bag. She asked if there was anything else I needed like napkins, dipping sauces, hot sauces.... "hot sauce? What do you have?", was my response. I'm a huge fan & collector of hot sauces, so she brought me inside to show me their selection. They had about 15 sauces or so (10 of which, I didn't expect), so I got a couple containers of ones I liked and thanked the staff for such quick and wonderful service. We sat down to eat, and MY GOODNESS... it was DELICIOUS! We got some tacos, and a burger, and lots of fries... we also got a hot dog for our puppy... food lasted maybe 10-15 minutes? My barber (Jeff - Waldport Family Cuts) recommended SKOSH to me a few weeks ago, and my wife and I finally stopped by a few days ago. I had the Pork Carnitas Tacos with an order of their No Frizzle Fries, and loved them....there are enough fries to feed three people! My wife had their Smoked Chicken Smash (pulled BBQ'd chicken), which comes with fries..... again, she loved it. Fresh, rustic, tasty food for sure. Will return! read more
