To start, my 5 star rating is for the current building managers, Abbie and Jason. My experience with the prior building managers wasn't great, and my experience with Sky has been a mix of both good and bad. First the previous building managers were never around, so when something in the building was in need of fixing/repair, you always call it to their attention because they seemed to have no clue. They weren't very friendly and even sent out an email a month after moving in asking for a positive review without even having introduced themselves yet. Second, I really never had any issues with Sky until recently. I had a minor problem with my personal plants being ruined by the gardener, and since we were in transition with building managers I called Sky. I spoke with Carmen and she said they had this problem with another tenants personal plants being damaged as well. She told me to email her with pictures, and she would try to get a reimbursement from the gardener. I emailed her, and never heard back. So I called many times and still couldn't get her to call me back! I'm disappointed, but reached a point of giving up. Other than that, I've had no issues with sky. With all that having been said, Sky should feel very lucky to have found Abbie and Jason! I wish they had been our managers the whole time I've lived there! Upon first moving in, they took no time in going around and introducing themselves to all of the tenants and letting us know they were available for anything we needed! They always seem to be around with an open door and a smile. I've had many nice conversations with them, and they've offered to help me with anything I needed. Abbie and Jason are not only wonderful building managers, they are kind sweet people... and their pup is pretty awesome too! Again, like I said, Sky should be truly grateful to have these two people representing their company! read more

I have lived at 4100 McFarlane Ave, Burbank for the past four years and I can honestly say that SKY Properties have been awesome from day one. This small community is beautifully maintained and SKY are extremely responsive and professional when I've needed to reach out to them. From the day I viewed my apartment everything has just been a breeze. Carmen has been my rock throughout and has always been polite, patient, responsive, and understanding. A shout out for Yesenia too who has also been very polite and helpful. And....a HUGE shout out to Kari who I have the utmost respect for as I know this industry is tough and quite often thankless, but her tenacity, enthusiasm, and professionalism never fails to impress. She is a credit to the Toluca Lake and wider Los Angeles business community. I am actually now in my notice period to vacate after four wonderful years here, but....I decided to move to the beach...someone's got to do it lol. If there were SKY Properties communities in the area I was looking to move to, I wouldn't even look at any other places as I know I'd be in safe hands if I went into a SKY building. So it's a big goodbye to SKY and my nice little building. I'll never forget the experiences and memories I made here over the past four years, and I'll be sad to leave and will miss it terribly, but sometimes you just gotta move on...a change is as good as a rest and all that. I've been a Laurel Terrace tenant in West Hollywood for 15 years and have seen a few managers come and go. One year my shower pan tile was cracked and water leaked into the unit below. Kerry and Sky Properties re-tiled the entire shower. Another year the tenant below rang my doorbell at 3:00 am because water was leaking through his ceiling due to a pinhole in the pipe, in the wall, leading to my kitchen sink faucet. We woke the manager (don't remember who) who immediately turned off the water supply and had Sky Properties make the repairs the next day. Recently, the water pressure to my shower slowed to a trickle. The current manager Dror Soref had someone there within days to fix the problem. In addition, my attic fan quit working after 15 years during the weeks of 90+ degree temperatures. Dror had a new attic fan ordered and installed within a month. I even came home one day to find my bathroom had been repainted after a recent annual inspection of all the units. Woohoo! That was a nice surprise. Thanks to Sky Properties for hiring the best managers over the years for our little 15 unit complex. The gardeners keep the front yard looking great and special thanks to our neighbor and friend Stephen Sullivan for his amazing work in the courtyard. Oh, and kudos for the exterior perimeter camera system ... we needed it. read more

My sister my daughter and I have been living at the Sepulveda building for a little bit over a month now We are considering maybe not renewing our lease but Ever since the new manager has come in Wendy came we have noticed a huge change in a lot of the things that were happening it was not being paying attention to although the other manager had promised a lot of things happening she never took anything more than just saying it and not making it happen thanks to Wendy now we have a little bit more security in the building we have things being taken care of in the apartments faster we have had an issue with our windows ever since we moved in and until she came in it was actually paid attention to their several issues in our apartment that needed really fast attention she has made it happen Equity through the talks that I have had with other neighbors or other tenets I should say she has been the best manager this building has had so far read more

After a year of living at Cahuenga Place, I'm convinced that this is one of the cleanest and best managed complexes in LA. No issues with bugs or anything in that regard, which was a major concern for me before moving. Amanda is a fantastic manager and her care for the wellbeing of tenants is wonderful and welcoming. She has made great improvements to the building, from making the pet area larger and safer to being incredibly responsive in making sure the needs of our apartment are met! I feel truly at home and safe here. While there have been some minor annoyances from past water shut offs and the gate not closing, they are structural issues that have always been clearly communicated and quickly fixed. The units themselves are spacious and come with great amenities, along with large balconies to enjoy the view of the hills. We love calling this place home! read more

I am a current tenant. Sky Properties recently purchased the building in which I live. Sky has the most superb maintenance team - spearheaded by Luis, everyone with whom I have worked/met (and I have made several requests for screens, electrical, and removing a cabinet) has been professional, immediately responsive, and hard working. And always thejob has gotten done. As for the management team, payment is easily done online. As are maintenance requests - they get responded to immediately - so we arent mad when an issue does arise. The onsite manager for my property - Gracie - is immediately responsive as well. My wife is not from LA and her transition has been much smoother because of the professionalism of Sky Properties. Definitely a class company. Thank you. read more

I have been living at my apartment with my wife for about 18 years now and Sky Properties manages my building and i absolutely love how they take care of business. They actually complete the work in a great timely manner. My wife put in a request in for some maintenance work to be done and Vince the maintenance man came in and took care of everything very professionally and did a very good job! He is real polite i asked him to take care of some small things for me and he did not hesitate to take care of the items he said "yeah no problem i will take care of you i like to make my tenants happy" really made my day! So thank you Sky for taking care of us! And having such a great team Keep up the great work! Will definitely request vince if we have another issue. read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to our Laurel Terrace team, Property Manager, Dror and our favorite Maintenance guy, Jose. They always respond quickly to any maintenance requests, and as long as you explain the situation and what you need clearly, they make sure everything matches your specifications. Very personable and friendly :) Also, I don't know his name yet, but the new landscaper has done such a lovely job with the flowers and garden areas, it always makes me smile when I get home from work. The only real downside to this location is the parking in back. The spaces are really tight, and if you aren't careful, its almost too easy to bump into the short yellow poles in front of the support columns. But it is covered parking, one spot included with rent. read more

I have been so lucky from day one with this company! I snatched up an affordable studio in Laurel Terrace (a steal in West Hollywood) a year ago and have only good things to say. No issues with the unit at all, and any minor things get taken care of without a problem. They are pet friendly, mindful of the COVID-19 pandemic, and always easy to reach. Dror Soref is our live-in manager, and he is hands down the most helpful one I have ever had! He is always a text away, willing to help me figure out any issues, such as parking my new bike in the lot, getting clearance to adopt a dog, or communicating with other tenants. I do not want to move out just because living here is made so easy! I truly recommend this building and Sky Properties to anyone looking. read more

I have lived in the same building for 20 years - and when it went through bankruptcy and change of ownership, I started dealing with Sky. They asked me to manage the building (8 units) - which I have done since. Dealing with this company has been exceptional in communication - they are fair, up on the laws, BIG on safety - and certainly listen to my needs. One of my long-term tenants had a wonderful dog, who the entire neighborhood loved. She died suddenly, and everyone was very saddened. Sky donated a large rock to be placed out in the front yard where she used to sit. This kind of care and concern makes me happy to say that Sky recognizes the buildings as homes - and the tenants as people, not just rent assets. read more

The other night, while simply watching television, our electricity in more than half of our home simply disappeared. I contacted Roshelle , the coordinator and scheduler for repairs and she personally sent her maintenance supervisor, Jose, to solve the problem. The problem truly was a mystery, like one found in a mystery novel, but Jose, with all his skills and knowledge found the problem and solved the problem in just a short amount of time. With the problem solved, we are once again, good to go. Many, many, many thanks again to Roshelle and to Jose for their personal care, personal concern, and above, their professionalism. My girlfriend and I recently moved into the Laurel Terrace apartment building in West Hollywood. Upon moving in, we noticed some small repairs were needed, mainly to fix a leak near the toilet and to patch up a hole in the shower. Both the building manager (Dror) and maintenance supervisor (Jose) were quick to act and make the necessary repairs. It was a couple of days later when, upon removing the bathroom mirror, we discovered a gaping hole in the wall which was infested with cockroaches. Again, Dror and Jose acted swiftly and efficiently in patching up the wall and sending over pest control. My girlfriend and I look forward to making Laurel Terrace our home knowing that Dror and Jose have our backs! read more

I wrote a review in September, which wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't the worst. This is really a GREAT place to live! Have been here 7 years.....still here. The manager who was here in September wasn't very nice, I was angry and wanted to share. Well, she is gone, as they figured her out. So, they see what I see, but have to go through all the politics. I love this place! Clean, great location, great people who work here, live here. Cari is AWESOME.......truly, a lovely lady, and someone who really cares. John, Alex, Jason and Alex, well, you rock! I've lived in quite a few places over the years, and this is by far the best managed building I have lived at. Previously, if I had a problem, it might have taken the management days to get back with me. Here, Abbie and Jason take care of things immediately. i recently just toured one of the properties in manhattan beach Villa capistrana Apts and the customer service was everything i was looking for, very friendly and very informative. MaryCasanova the manager was such a sweetheart, unfortunately its a bit out of my price range but ill def be looking at one of the other Sky properties if all the staff they hire is as sweet as Mary was, i really felt like i was at home in the 10 mins i was there i hope to be living at one of these Sky properties in the near future thank you so much for the hospitality and hope to be a resident of the sky properties family :):):) read more

The new manager Kandi is amazing! She is always available anytime of the day or night. I felt bad about knocking on her door after midnight. I didn't want to wake up her son. But I was locked out. It was no problem. The property is very clean. Very knowledgeable and excellent customer service. Work orders are submitted much faster than before. I look forward to her being the manager. She is so sweet and friendly, it's quite refreshing after a hectic day. To come home and be greeted with a smile. I wish I could give more stars! The first thing i noticed when my husband and i walked through the apartments was how amazingly clean they were. This being our very first apartment we hesitated but now after almost 2 years we are glad we decided on a sky properties apartment. Our manager Martha Alvarez is fenominal, always keeps the apartments and the Laundry room clean and the garden areas, incredible, green all-year around. We've never really had any major issues with the apartment but she makes everything a priority and gets us taken care of in minimal time and with little to no inconvenience to us. read more

I have lived at the Whitewave Apartment complex for 8 months and we absolutely love it. The apartment complex is clean, well maintained, quiet, and attractive. The managers go above and beyond to make sure the landscaping and pool are well cared for. The plants in particular are abundant and lovely. Any problems we've had (e.g. clogged garbage disposal) with our unit have been taken care of efficiently and at our convenience. The managers are always reachable immediately through email and text. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. We hope to stay here for a long time! read more
