Definitely one of the best coleslaws we had, with the right flavor. I loved my power bowl with tilapia, shrimp, brown rice and veggies. Now just the mix would have been a regular bowl but the dressing and spices on both the tilapia and shrimp made it absolutely taste worthy and I enjoyed my lunch. Good fast casual seafood! You order at the counter and then sit down with a number. The seats aren't exceptionally comfortable but its a very casual spot. Our food came out pretty quickly. The staff is friendly and helped with recommendations on what's popular and their personal preference. My husband got the Clobster Grilled cheese and really enjoyed it! The side of sweet potato fries were crispy. I got the Power Bowl. This has 4 shrimp, a piece of mahi mahi and a small piece of salmon. While this includes 3 different proteins, I understand thats likely why the portions are smaller. I'm a person who typically likes 2 servings or protein. So that's probably just a personal issue. This place blew my expectations out of the water. I felt like I stepped right back into a little coastal seafood shack and the food completely matched that. For a fast-casual dining experience, Slapfish is an excellent option. I eat here after every visit to my dentist just up the road. So I eat here at least three times a year ever since it opened. I love lobster. It's my favorite type of food from the ocean. Crab is a distant second. I have only ever ordered a lobster dish here until today. I strayed to a less expensive option - The Grinder sandwich which is a mixture of lobster, crab and shrimp in a spicy sauce. So yummy!! I love the buttered bread they offer. I might even liken it to Texas toast. It's a big piece of bread that stands up like a taco. It's soft, lightly toasted... heaven. Fries are good too and not overly salted. So if you love McDonald's fries' salty taste, you might not love these. Just add salt I guess. Personally I'm on a low sodium diet and these fries are perfect. The facility is always very clean. Slapfish is always AMAZING and our most recent trip solidified that even more. The man behind the counter was so friendly, nice, and helpful. He was the perfect person to be greeting customers and working the counter. I ordered the lobster taquitos (heard they were great) and the citrus shrimp salad. The taquitos were super good, fried, and came with a creamy dipping sauce that was delicious. It comes with two of them, but one does the job for me. I'd ordered the citrus shrimp salad multiple times and it's amazing every time. It's so fresh, the dressing is so wonderful and light, and the shrimp is always delicious. I seriously could eat it everyday. I also tried the power bowl about a year ago and loved that as well. You can't go wrong with what you order! My non-seafood-loving husband ordered the chicken tenders and fries (lol) and we expected it to be pretty standard, since this is primarily a seafood spot. Nope! The fries had an amazing seasoning on them and my husband said that they were some of the best chicken tenders he's ever had. Amazing job Slapfish! You can order to take out or sit down and eat in the restaurant. I elected to eat in the restaurant. The environment was very clean. There is alcoholic beverages sold at the restaurant but the drink I wanted to try they were sold out. My meal was apart of the Devour Indy which was a good price for an entree and appetizer. The lobster roll was delicious which typically if you get a lobster roll you pay market price which can be $28 alone I believe. I had paid that for everything I had bought. My wife isn't a fan of seafood so I don't frequent here enough. Everything I have ordered has been great and fresh. This visit I went for a healthier version of the Fish and Chips with grilled fish. Ahh I love a good fish taco and this place really outdid themselves! Finally got to checkout Slapfish last Saturday and I'm already dying to go back. Cashier working was a doll. Offered lots of recommendations and made us feel super welcome. This is also a good option if you're in a hurry. They brought our food out in maybe 5 minutes. I of course got the ultimate fish taco and wow. It was huge! Super crispy and amazing. I actually ate half of it before I could close the tortilla! Clam chowder was soooo good. You order at the counter and the gentleman was very patient answering our questions about the menu like what fish and what sides, etc. We also ordered some chips and lobster dip, yummy! (Sorry no pic :-0 Ultimate fish taco was delicious and lived up to its two-handed reputation. I loved the pickled onions and radishes and it was definitely filling. My wife ordered a Reel Fish Sandwich with Regal Springs tilapia, lettuce, tomato, cabbage, and sauce. She enjoyed it also and the brioche bun was delicious. The fried items, I believe, would be best eaten on site. I can see them not traveling well. To go items probably would travel best if they are grilled. This Northeast style fish joint specializes in all things crustacean. It shares a building with Broccoli Bill's, which is a small, farmer's market style grocery store. I had been excited all week leading up to trying this place, and I'd give it a solid 3.5 stars, but for the sake of Yelp, decided to round up. You order at the counter, take a number, then they bring the food to your table. We showed up around 545pm on a Friday and there were only a few tables of people, but by the time we left around 630pm the place was full and there was a line of 6-8 people waiting to order. I'll cut right to the chase, for appetizers we ordered the lobster dip (listed as a 'special' so not on the original menu, $7), lobster taquitos and a grilled fish taco. For entree's, we got a lobster roll and the lobster grinder. The appetizers come out as they are ready, which is nice to keep you snacking until the entrees arrive. I was a huge fan of the lobster dip -- it was creamy and cajun flavored with strings of lobster throughout. I thought the dip was probably the best thing we had, but it is served cold (just a headsup). I was excited for the lobster taquitos as several others mentioned that they were phenomenal. However, these missed the mark a bit for our table. Nothing too special about them, and most of every bite was essentially just the fried taco breading. The grilled fish taco was pretty good though, and at ~$4 you could definitely make a meal out of a few of these. As soon as we were about full on the appetizers, the entrees arrived. We were somewhat disappointed to find out the lobster grinder (lobster, shrimp, and crab mixed with spiced aioli on a butter roll) was served cold, but we should have read the menu closer! Regardless, we thought it tasted just so-so, and after a couple bites turned our attention to the holy grail of Slapfish, the lobster roll. It is over-flowing with lobster, and ours had mostly claw meat. In fact, it was so over-flowing that I ate most of the lobster with a fork. Overall, the lobster roll was pretty tasty. I came here when this first opened for a Yelp event and always wanted to return to dine in. About a year ago, I came for the lobster roll I'd been drooling over. Sadly, it was so dry, and for the price tag of $20+ for a sandwich, I had no plans to return. I recently tried the Clobster at the downtown location and it was life changing, I mean SO incredibly delicious! After bragging about it to a friend and seeing Slapfish on the menu for Devour, we decided to come to this location. We decided to split two sandwiches. Mine (Clobster) was part of the Devour menu so I opted for the lobster dip/chips as the app and fries, extra crispy, as my side. My friend ordered the surf and turf burger with fries. We looked around the inside while we waited to dine-in. There's a little shop in the back with some groceries, candies, bakery items, meats, and cheeses. Very cute and quaint! The dip came first and was phenomenal! I assumed it would be warm and would not have ordered it had I known it was a cold dip but it was perfect cold! I would come back just for this. The sandwiches came shortly after. I ate my half of the burger first because it was drenched in sauce on the bottom and falling apart. It was okay, we both decided we would never order it again. I didn't love the sauce on it, like an oddly flavored creamy bbq. I was SO excited to get another Clobster but sadly, it's not nearly as good at this location. WAY less cheese and crab/lobster meat. The bread to filling ratio was way, way off. Flavor was still good but I was disappointed. My fries were seasoned well but not at all crisp. If they can't make them crispy, that's okay, but tell me that when I ask so I can order a different side. The pricing is a bit high here, which I get because of the quality of fresh seafood, but it needs to be darn good for that price. We noticed an employee (manager?) walking around to check on people but we were not checked on. It was on the busier side so I get it. Nothing was bad, just not up to par with what we hoped to eat. Overall, I would not return to this location. I hope it becomes more consistent with downtown, where I would drive out of my way to go again and again since the flavors are so much more on point. read more

It's a fast casual restaurant with plenty of social distanced indoor and out door seating. On this day my daughter and I split a huge shrimp burrito and a cold lobster dip. Omg that burrito did NOT disappoint. It was stuffed with rice, large juicy shrimp, a little spinach and this really good sauce with a side of homemade chips. My daughter and I ate a half + the cold lobster dip and was more than satisfied. The cold crab dip was different but definitely worth the venture outside our comfort zone. I ordered the lobster dip and chips and a lobster roll (I like lobster- what can I say? ) when you walk in you place your order, take the number and then find a table to sit at.
