Island Deli and Smoothie Bar is a fabulous spot for excellent sandwiches, salads, and drinks!…read moreYou'll find them in Downtown Las Vegas on Charleston and 10th Street near Maryland. There's limited parking. Inside is vibrant, colorful, bright and clean with good seating, fun Island vibes, and fantastic Hawaiian and Reggae music! I was listening to Rayvon and Shaggy "Angel," it's an amazing song that brings back good days, especially the melody when they sing, "Shorty, you're my angel, you're my darling angel," so awesome! Menu offers a great selection of hot toasted or panini grilled sandwiches, deli style cold sandwiches, island deli sliders and salads, as well as platters, wings, desserts, gelato, and smoothie bowls For refreshments, they have coffee, specialty blender lemonade, herbal teas, juice blends, energy bobas, and smoothies. I ordered Chicken Truffle Crunch Panini ($10.99), super duper incredibly delicious! The sandwich is a generous serving and very filling. Inside has tender chicken with crunchy tortilla corn chips and melted swiss cheese, savory white truffle aioli, and fried onions, all snugged in a soft fluffy ciabatta bread, so YUM! The sandwich comes with a refreshing crunchy cabbage salad mixed with carrots, cilantro, and black sesame seeds, lightly tossed in yummy sesame dressing, it's really good! Also had Lemongrass Lemonade (Large, $6.99) and requested less sweet. It's a green juice blend with flavor that reminds me of a salad in a cup, very earthy, smooth, light and healthy! Lemongrass Lemonade definitely adds a nice balance to the hearty Chicken Truffle Crunch. For sweet treats, they have sliced cakes, creme brulee, flan, and cheesecakes. I had Chocolate Cake ($5.99), it's moist, soft, not too sweet, and delightful! The bottom cake has a dark chocolate crumble crust, layered with airy smooth chocolate mousse, regular moist chocolate cake, and topped with chocolate malt and pate glacee. Texture is wonderful, appealing and amazingly light, kind of like eating a fluffy chocolate cloud, I love it! Service from owner Dwayne, Gina, and Rodel is very kind, welcoming, attentive, friendly, and pleasant! This is a wonderful family-owned business, everyone in the staff is so nice, super welcoming, helpful, courteous, and accommodating. They put a lot of heart in making fresh quality food and fantastic drinks, it's definitely worth visiting, I highly recommend!

If any sandwich existed that was "too good" this is in the running, my doctor would probably agree. The smoothies are good, I probably could stop any time I want, but I don't want to. If you are in the mood for an ooey gooey good sandwich, give this spot a try.

We ordered the Royal Flush Reuben, which was packed with tender corned beef, melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and creamy dressing on perfectly grilled rye bread. The Ben Sherman's Corned Beef & Pastrami was loaded with flavorful, juicy meat stacked high with amazing deli flavor in every bite. The Banksy Sandwich was another winner -- savory pastrami with rich toppings and perfectly toasted bread that all came together so well. Every sandwich came with their homemade crispy chips and honestly those chips were addicting. Fresh, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. We loved every bite of our meal. The only downside was the service. The staff didn't seem very welcoming and the female cashier especially looked pretty grumpy. Still, the food itself was fantastic and definitely worth coming back for!

I am reviewing from the perspective of someone who is always on the hunt for a great locally owned coffee shop, as a remote worker and full-time student. Yes, in response to the owner, I am aware that most modern phones offer a hotspot, but my review point is mostly that the location is not condusive to someone looking for a place to work/hang/read while enjoying a usual coffee house experience with wifi, due to it not being offered and the space not being large enough to have room for that customer, AND their deli foot traffic** The coffee was good, and the people-watching ambiance is awesome. I don't love that they don't offer Wi-Fi, but I assume it is so people won't linger, as seating is limited. Would give them another try if they did, as I appreciate being able to multitask and get work done while grabbing a coffee or lunch. Just isn't their vibe. What sets them apart in the Arts District is the front patio, which is not super common. Not in their control are the increased parking rates, and so it's a tough sell if going as a destination, rather than a meandering shopping trip in the vibrant area.

Both were very good and the sandwich came with slightly spicy tots. It was the perfect amount of food and the bar seating was comfortable. Glad to see that this place is still here since so many other restaurants we visited once are now gone.

Had a reservation in the afternoon on a Saturday and had a great time. We were met by our server Bianca and she was superb. I know she was very busy with the tables but managed to look after us well. With food, we had first got the bacon jam which has always been a must get at. It has such a unique flavor to it, but this time around was a little disappointing as it seems the cheese wasn't melted all the way which made it a little difficult to cut. The gochujang butter flavored oysters were really tasty but a bit expensive for three oysters. Then we had the French onion fingerlings. Then the potatoes were a little hard and wished there was more sauce on it as it was mostly potato in taste. Although, those were a bit disappointing, the short rib was cooked perfectly and we loved the sauce on top of it. Also really cool was the pep on pep flatbread. My personal favorite! We also had gotten the bourbon brownie bacon. It was ok, liked the bourbon ice cream, not that fond of the bacon. If you're a bacon lover, though, I'd highly recommend trying it out. Well, as always, I had a good time. These first couple of times I've went, they sure tasted better, but perhaps it was just an off day.
