Very aggressive when I asked if the coupon was applied. Got all in my face and pulled me aside and told me I had to sign something again to be aloud service there. Arrived at this location for a smog check (unintentionally) on Monday 6/19 in the afternoon. Since it was empty I decided to make a quick stop, they were quick, gentleman their was helpful I didn't have my dmv renewal ticket he found another way to register my car for service. He let me know it would take roughly 2 days to get to the dmv. I asked him how often do I need to take my car in for a smog (going forward) he let me know it's every other year. ID Theft alert I went to this location: 1098 W. San Carlos St. San Jose, CA 95126 (408) 287-8863 After connecting my car Marco demanded my Drivers license so that he can scan it. I told him my info are in the DMV form. He refused service. I called and spoke with the owner Samuel - he said he will speak with Marcos and was giving all kind of excuse and was looking to finish the conversation. When I asked for resolution, he asked me to call DMV. I suspect they are running a scheme of stealing IDs and selling it to make money or use for fraudulent activities. Incidentally when my bank wanted to scan my ID, they issued a disclosure and wanted me to agree on. Here is there is no such thing and taking it for granted. They finished my smog check in less than 15 minutes, Steven gave me my certificate and explained the process for me to get my stickers at the DMV right away, and not to mention the guys were also super nice! I didn't have to wait at all during my lunch time visit. This was my third visit to this location, (one of three.) I called ahead to let Marco know that I was having my Father drive in from Milpitas to get his truck smogged, and inquired about a discount. Marco could not have been more friendlier, both over the phone and in person. He and and associate who performed the test were friendly, polite and courteous, and my father and I were out the door in about 12 minutes. It is first come first served, so todays visit was faster than my last, but even that visit was only 20 to 25 minutes with one person in front of me. Don't hesitate come here. Quality service, friendly staff, great location, and a valuable discount if you visit there website and take a picture of their online coupon. My hats off to Marco and his staff.
