A lot of the bakery items and the drink items here are pretty unique and have Korean flavors or elements which is fun! I got the Honey bori latte which had an awesome barley taste that mixed nicely with the espresso. It's not a flavor that is very common so it was great to try here! Newly opened korean bakery with lots of unique Korean bakery items and cakes that you don't see elsewhere. I tried the spam kimchi pastry and the garlic butter bread, and both were really good. I reccomend to go earlier in the morning so you can have the best selection since they do run out towards the end of the day. They also have some unique drinks on the menu, like a sweet corn latte which was surprisingly good and reminded me of a similar one I tried in korea. Inside the bakery is spacious with plenty of tables, and they have an outdoor area too. Great cafe spot for hanging out with family, on a date, or just getting takeout. On top of the food, they have really cute merch with their unique tiger logo, plus their own roasted coffee beans and syrups you can buy to take home. Suchhh a cool spot, I love it here. They have a good amount of spots with outlet access, as well as Wifi, so I can see this being a really nice spot to study or get some work done, and be able to enjoy some good treats while you're at it. And I really just can't get over how cute their logo is. Literally taking home the wax paper and the pastry bag to put into my journal. Their baked goods are of a limited variety, but I can tell the selection was super intentional because everything looked really good. The drinks also all look really good, I'll have to try the banana cream latte and sweet corn latte next time! All that being said, we came for the original salt bread and it sadly didn't live up to the expectation. It didn't have the signature crispy bottom, and the salt distribution on the top was kind of sad. So it didn't really feel like salt bread. This place has been so busy on weekends since opening - I went on a weekday morning and it was way less busy. I got the kimchi spam musubi croissant, salt bread, and breakfast sliders. I was not a fan of the musubi - it was really salty and didn't like it, salt bread wasn't anything special - I prefer the childish bakery ones. I thought this one would be fluffier but it was just okay. I was excited for the breakfast sliders because it's hawaiian rolls, eggs, avocado, bacon and sauce. I found the avocado mixture to be extremely salty, I had to scrape it off, plus salty bacon, overall things run really salty? 3.8/5 I was most excited to try the bulgogi spam musubi crossaint but ended up not being that impressed with it. It was a bit dry and lacking bulgogi flavor. My favorite was the garlic cream bread (in the picture). It was rich and creamy, and very decadent and filling. Will be back to try their drinks and other pastries. Great atmosphere. Not too many tables for a large spot. I heard so much about this place, so decided to come check out in the middle of a weekday knowing it's not going to be too crowded. All the baking goods look aesthetically pleasing. Heard good stuff about the scones so I grabbed all 3 flavors that are available. But I hate to say - they are not my favorite scones. They smelled really good and buttery when warmed up. But a lot of leftover crumbs and I couldn't taste much flavor, especially the ube. However, I enjoyed the matcha scone the most. It complemented the drinks really well. I think Lemon Earl Grey is a solid choice. Not much to say about that. I enjoyed the Baby Latte a lot. Good balance between milk and coffee. Blueberry Matcha is okay. I wouldn't say it was an excellent matcha drink but went well with all the pastries I ordered. Smoking Tiger has been so popular recently and I love it! The inside was really spacious but it was very crowded. All the pastries looked so good and they had a lot of different options. We got Cream Cheese Garlic Bread, Kimchi Musubi Croissant, Lemon Earl Grey Sconkie, and Oreo Sconkie. The cream cheese garlic bread was so so good! The cream cheese was salty, creamy, and the garlic sauce on the bread smelled and tasted so good. I really liked the bread itself. The kimchi spam musubi was good, but the spam was really salty and it would be better if there was more kimchi inside. The scone cookies were delicious though!! I reheat them with the oven and they were perfect. The Oreo one had a lot of Oreos in the middle making it very sweet, but the outside edges were really good and not too sweet at all! We also got drinks from them, Banana Milk Latte and Sweet Corn Latte. The banana latte was okay, the banana milk was too overpowering so we didn't taste coffee at all. The sweet corn latte was really good though. It had corn milk and corn cold foam on the top, I would probably ask for more foam though. They also had matcha drinks as well but I see most people ordered coffee, no one really got their matcha. Overall, I would probably only come back for their sconkies. The spam musubi croissant was okay, the garlic bread you can easily make at home, and the coffee drinks were okay. Service was great though, but they did take long to make drinks. read more

I think it was called a donkey but it was a flat white with Orange and Martha Foam and it was super delish! So creamy and refreshing! I'm actually shocked this place ended up in DFW.... I recall back in Fullerton, California (which i believe is their first location?) my wife and i went during covid era and fell in love with their garlic bread... After moving to DFW i couldn't find something similar. I also remember their banana coffee as well. I can't believe that was about +5 years ago. Very glad they opened a location, and we went during the first few days of their soft opening. We definitely got the garlic bread, and the banana coffee. I went right before their closing hours so there wasn't great selection. I would consider coming back in the morning for better selection. I tried the OG which was really fantastic in flavor albeit a little oddly presented because it was filled to the brim in a little cute with another cup on the outside. It's quite strong but I truly enjoyed it. I also got the jalapeno cream cheese musubi bread and the everything bagel salt bread. Both were just so so and stale tasting at the end of the day but after heating it up, it was great! They really should have an option for heating up the bread for people to enjoy at the bakery. The ambience is also very cool, clean, very similar to cafes you'd find in Asia. It has a great location too and they gave us a free cute sticker! Tried out smoking tiger which had just opened in koreatown in Carrollton. This Korean bakery is from California and had just opened their first Texas location. We got some pastries such as the garlic bread, spam musubi croissant, sausage and cheese cross aunt, salt bread, Oreo sconkie, and an almond croissant. For drinks, we got the sweet corn latte, honey Bori latte, and matcha dokdo. They ask you if you want to eat inside or not. They will heat up the ones you choose to eat inside and bag up the rest for you. The cream cheese garlic bread is hands down the best pastry here. It has an intense garlic flavor. I literally smelled it while walking up to the entrance. The cream cheese provides a rich flavor that goes well with the garlic. The spam musubi croissant disappointed me. It's basically just a croissant with a slice of spam in it, not anything special. As for e drinks, they were all bangers. The corn cold foam was nice, but I liked the honey Bori latte a lot more. They use barley milk and it's topped with a salted honey cold foam, it was so good. I got the dokdo, a matcha flat white with some citrus. The citrus flavor was nonexistent, and it is not worth it for the size and price, but man this surprised me. I really liked this drink, it was refreshing band the foam was delicious, but the value is just not worth it compared to the other 2 drinks. We used to frequent their locations in California so we were excited to see them expanding in Texas. They are in their soft opening. We went on a Sunday and there was a long line but the wait wasn't too bad. Their bread with cream cheese or honey butter fillings are good. They had something labeled coffee salt bread but it just tasted like plain salt bread that was stale so that was disappointing. Even if it was mislabeled, it didn't taste good for salt bread. When it first opened a lot of the baked goods were sold out by 12 every day but as it progressed I think they aren't selling out as early. I got the: Garlic bread: my husband liked it and it tasted okay to me. I prefer the baguette at goobne chicken which is essentially the same thing but heated up. It was a tad oily. Next time if I have time to dine I might have the heat it up for me and maybe I would like it more. Walnut honey bread: it's the same shape but not savory. I liked it about the same as the garlic bread. It's okay. Yakult blueberry matcha: I love yakult and yakult foam on paper is right up my alley. I did like the foam on this but the rest of the drink felt sort of watered down and the matcha taste was faint compared to what I expected. Yakult yuzu coffee: yuzu and coffee combination is evidently to me, disgusting. This got relegated to my husband when I got home and he found it okay. Stopped by the Monday after their soft opening but sad to see that they closed the store to prepare for Tuesday. Thankfully when we came back Tuesday morning they were back up and running. First of all, great branding. Extremely aesthetic interior with finished wood seating and clean sleek lines throughout. Not to mention a merch shelf full of cute shirts and branded kitchen ware that screams "SPEND YOUR MONEY" (along with a SUPER cute little mini tote bag that's vertically longer than wide, I would imagine perfect for a boba or coffee to-go). Now for the actual baked goods. 1) kimchi spam musubi - this sounds stupid but i don't like spam. however when i bit into it the spam was very soft and a decent portion without overpowering the whole pastry. the seaweed wrapping outside the croissant was a great contrast to the kimchi that was around the spam. if you like spam, this should be a winner. 2) oreo sconki - scone + cookie (such a cute name btw). it was a little on the dryer side; was very excited to try but was probably the most underwhelmed by this one. 3) garlic bread - LOTS of garlic. and filled with sweet cream cheese. warning if you get this boxed with your other stuff, all your breads will taste like garlic LOL it permeates through the whole thing. It was good for one bite, but after that the rest was just too much garlic and too much cream. if that's your jam you'd probably like it but for me it was just too much of everything. very photo friendly though lol! 4) breakfast croissant: i actually had the least expectations for this but it was my favorite. love me a classic ham and cheese croissant. 5) coffee salt bread: liked the mix of salty and sweet with this one. Would recommend this one warmed up. I also ordered the mitsugaru (sp?) drink bc i didn't want any coffee/caffeine. The server told me that it was a multigrain drink. I would describe it most similar to an injeolmi/sesame taste for anyone not familiar with it: pretty grainy, sweet. I'll try something else next time, but I'm glad i tried it. Ended up visiting this place as my friend recently moved to Texas. This was the only thing close to good coffee and bread. It's super cool to hear that they came from OC and now in Texas! I will say this was a pretty big shop and the merch was super dope! As someone who is a coffee connoisseur, the quality of the drinks were amazing. My only critique is the logistics. It was very crowded, and because they only had one cashier working the register, the checkout line was incredibly long.
