I miss this place....it is the yardstick that all other sandwiches will be measured against.... Snarf's is unbelievably tasty. It all starts with the bread that is toasted...it's crackly on the outside and soft on the inside and holds up well under all the sauces and disgusting amounts of food that are lovingly packed in. They put so many toppings in the sandwich that each item is a distinct layer that can be seen when you gaze at the middle of the sandwich before delighting your tummy with gastronomic delights that are sometimes better than you-know-what. Be warned that there are hot veggies that not just peppers, but a mix of carrots, celery, and other spicy mysteries My favorite meal is something that I split w/my best friend: med BLT w/avacado and med Portobello. I have enjoyed most everything else, but I always back to my tried and true combo Pros....the bread! the milkshakes! the quality ingredients! Yes, with Splick-it you can just walk in and pick up your order immediately for a $0.25 fee (and this is what I do most of the time), but it can take up to 45 minutes (for a sandwich, remember) if you arrive during peak hours. read more

Awesome sandwiches. A must for anyone visiting Boulder. The hots (pickled hot peppers and other veggies) are the best. Several vegetarian sandwiches on the menu - all of which are tasty. This Snarf's location is absolutely terrific. The sandwiches are world class -- you've gotta taste them for yourself! It's pretty spacious inside and decorated with bright colors that have a distinctly (and wonderfully) non-corporate feel. But I'm inspired to write this review because the employees at the Arapahoe Snarf's location are top flight. They are completely on top of their game...industrious, clear-eyed, positive, and amiable. You get the feeling that they like working there, like one another, and like you, too. Even if you're closer to the Pearl Street Snarfs, and even if you've received super-crappy service there, it's well worth the drive down Arapahoe to get some grub at this location. read more

Always so, so good. I've been a huge fan for a while, but only recently have I started making a serious habit out of Snarf's, being that the Arapahoe Road location is right by my work. I've had most of the sandwiches there, and highly recommend the italian, the chicken salad, the rotisserie chicken, the prime rib and provolone, and the BLT (extra bacon!). I always splurge for "everything" on it, but sometimes disregard the pickle. They still get 5 stars from me, but my only two knocks: slightly pricey, and they don't always get all of your toppings all the way in the bread.... but that's really okay to me, it's all gonna get eaten anyway. read more

I have loved Snarf's since day one, however my last 2 experiences not so good. We did take out for our office not a giant order, 15. Most of the sandwiches were shy of meat, the steak sandwich was mushy and the tuna not as good as what it has been in the past. Today I ordered the Italian, my favorite! I think they changed the quality of meat because there were clumps of hard fat that I couldn't chew, the sandwich just didn't taste the same and they were not busy when I went in. I usually order snarf's delivery about once a week between 8:15pm and 9:00pm. I called tonight to order at 8:40 and was told I couldn't order delivery since it was too close to 9:00 which is the delivery cut off. I only live about a mile from the Arapahos location. Normally I would have been fine with this, but the girl who answered the phone was very rude. Apparently I was out of line for working a job with late hours and being hungry after getting off of work. I don't understand why it was too much for me to ask for a company to deliver to me within their normal delivery hours. I will be going to Potbelly on my way home for sandwiches in the future. read more

If you're actually hungry, and don't want to spend $10 for a small sandwich, go elsewhere. I've eaten here before and was satisfied in the past. But today I noticed their prices actually went up a bit. Along with that, portions went way down. Which is... bad business practice. The 7-inch Eggplant Parm tasted great. But it cost me over $10 and I'm still hungry after eating it. They were generous enough to include one sliver of eggplant and more bread than anything. You'd think a sandwich with just eggplant, tomato sauce, and cheese would come with plenty of all that. Wrong. Total cost of ingredients was maybe $1.50, while they had the nerve to charge me almost $11. HA! Never again Snarfs. read more

Go to a different Snarf's location. Three times in a row my order has been wrong, for example my Cubano just had ham and cheese, nothing else. I have been here several times and I've ordered several dozen subs and I'm always impressed. My favorite sandwich is the Italian. If you have kids then get them the pb with honey and banana sandwich. It's fantastic and I still get it every once in a while. The place is right next to a coffee ship too which is nice. A little old inside but a funky atmosphere. The food also comes out in 5-10 minutes with a large cloud which helps with lunch hour. read more
