I got some take out from sneakybird this past month. I had wanted to check them out and the perfect opportunity arose after an event. I took advantage of their online platform. I found it overall super easy, they make it easy to customize, modify and add or remove things. I ordered I believe, "naked tenders", which you can choose from a number of dry rubs. I went for the jalapeno garlic ranch and got a side of sweet potato tater tots and a salad. The tenders were delicious. I loved having a healthier option that didn't sacrifice on flavor. The extra seasoning was delicious. I had trouble picking sauces to dip, as they have so many delicious ones! Depending on size it comes with a few. I went with ranch, sneaky and the bee siracha. The ranch was delicious and herby, the sneaky was more buffalo forward and the bee siracha had a real unique flavor, but enjoyable. I prefer fries over tots, but did enjoy them and love a sweet potato option. The salad was a bit of let down, really just shredded iceberg, but nice to have as an option still. I would enjoy seeing a mixed green more hearty veggie option. I really enjoyed having a tasty and flavorful healthier option and would definitely return. Take out was still great after a 30 minute drive and pit stop. They packaged everything well. I definitely look forward to trying some of their other flavors and offerings! read more

Food is fantastic and taste great (it also tastes fried, but it's not!). The staff is great, and the service is quick. Their beer selection is also really great. Great service. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I ordered the sandwich with garlic butter parmesan and gold sauce. While it looked delightful, the taste just wasn't completely there for me. It was a tiny bit bland considering all the flavor that it was to have on it. Hubs had the tenders and he was happy with his. The boy had the kids pizza which he only ate half of but I actually liked it as I ate the rest. I'm not a huge chicken sandwich fan. It's not generally my go to choice for lunch but I decided to try this place because I was in the area. The menu is pretty simple and you add seasonings and sauces to customize your order. It wasn't terrible but then again I'm not really thrilled about sandwiches anyway. read more

NEW RESTAURANT IN NORTH SCOTTSDALE!!! Have you ever just craved baked or grilled chicken? That fried chicken is too much or too heavy? Well this place is it and they don't ever fry their chicken! Sneaky Bird just recently opened up and boy they did not disappoint! They have two styles of chicken, Homestyle or Naked. The homestyle is their baked chicken and is covered in a panko and Parmesan mixture and the naked chicken is grilled with some spices. I got their tenders and my boyfriend got the sandwich. Both were made of chicken breast and they were not over cooked and they were tender and perfectly cooked. My roommate got the wings and they were crispy and came with veggies on the side. For each of our meals we got tater tots that were seasoned with garlic, salt, and pepper. Then we got to choose our sauce! On the other side of the menu they have their own twist and house made sauces to choose. My personal favorite was the fools gold! Our server was very nice and patient with our questions about the sauces. The ambiance is a clean and relaxing mood. I could definitely spend an afternoon there watching a game at the bar and nomming onsome wings! This place has a simple menu but very good! I was starving after a fasting medical procedure and Sneaky Bird was the first thing we spotted on our way home. The restaurant has a very utilitarian look with some tv's on the wall and you order from the counter. There is also an outdoor seating area. Decisions were difficult without coffee that morning, but I ordered the "Homestyle" sandwich and whatever the "Brutus" sauce was. My husband went with teriyaki and he got the Tater Tots. My sandwich was delivered containing a large slice of chicken, some greenery, and tomato. I admit I could not finish it. Maybe I should not have kept sneaking hubby's incredible Tater Tots. (Tasted awfully good since they claimed they were not fried!) The employees are efficient, friendly, and very patient with this newbie who didn't know what she wanted. We were planning to have lunch at an adjacent place, but noticed sneakybird sign and thought we'd give it a try. First off, the staff was extremely hospitable. We were greeted as we walked in and when we arrived to counter to order the cashier explained how their menu was set up. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my husband had the chicken tenders. My husband said they were in the top 3 of all time "best tenders" and my sandwich was pretty good! Fresh lettuces and tomatoes, tasty pickles and bun, and breaded (not fired) chicken was hot and juicy. The sandwich needed lots of sauce. We both had their ranch and hot sauce and they were good but sandwich, in my opinion, needed mayo. I had sweet potato tots and they were ok..I know they were not fried but tasted a bit soggy, they weren't just different. Sneakybird has large indoor dining area, outside area and a bar with 3 TVs and soon, once they get their liquor license will have beer/wine. Great way to eat chicken. The cuts of chicken are perfect, and the baked breading successfully achieves "chicken finger." Marvelous takeout carton where they sit on a little paper rack to preserve crispiness. I'm afraid to say the sauces so far have fallen short. Amazing place to eat where the family and I love going. Wings are baked and never fried! Also a few weeks ago my daughter misplaced my favorite bracelet and I called in to see if they could search for it. No luck as they didn't find it on the initial search. Today we went to eat again and shortly after having some amazing habanero wings- one of the great guys that works there remembered us and brought the bracelet. The mango habanero sauce actually had some spice too it which was great. Truthfully, the sandwich and tots were average, nothing special. However, the chicken was very juicy and the concept of nothing being fried was really cool and it was noticeable as the food didn't make me feel bad after eating it. Sneaky bird is a sharp looking restaurant with modern ambiance. This is not fast food! They sandwiches and food are made to order. Their claim is that nothing is fried. Although nothing is fried, the sandwiches and tots are crisp. Be prepared to wait a couple minutes for your food. I waited about 12 minutes. But the food comes hot, juicy and fresh. I was excited to try a healthier version of wings which brought me to this location. I ordered at the counter with the cashier assisting me with options and recommendations. I picked the wings with lemon pepper and sneaky sauce. I switched from veggies to tater tot's. I was given a number to wait on my order as I wanted it to go. After sitting down I decided to check into Yelp and was awarded a 5 dollar discount to use at that time or for later. I opted to order chicken tenders home style, garlic butter with q sauce. The cashier added this to my previous order which was great versus receiving another number. The food took approximately 15 minutes to arrive and was brought to me as I sat on the bench next to the cashier counter. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. It was my first time here and I was traveling from out of state. The food was really good and the variety of sauces/rubs is great. I ordered a beer while I waited and they even offered to put my food in the warmer to keep it fresh. Aside from the food and vibes being good the real star was Zane. I work in sales/customer service and I would hire him in a second. He explained the menu to me and everyone else that came in without frustration and handled a situation that could have escalated in a fantastic way that made the customer feel heard and they left happy.
