We went to this place this morning because I was dying for a good Benedict and I was definitely satisfied! I love that they have the option to choose 2 different Benedicts so you can try new things. I had the Bella! Bella! Benedict which was delicious with prosciutto and a cream cheese hollandaise and the Barbacoa Chile verde Benedict which was the perfect balance of breakfast and Mexican flavors. The brewmosa is a must have. I never thought beer and OJ went together but Mmmmaaaaaannnnnnn, my world has been expanded. The food was amazing , from the pancakes to the hash browns. You know how good your food has to be for people not to even add hot sauce to it. I ate every single bite. The brewmosa had the right balance of OJ and beer and food was seasoned to perfection. Horrendous experience. I got to the restaurant 1.5 hours before closing. And I was treated as if I got to the restaurant 10 minutes after they closed. The food came out 55 minutes after we ordered to the clock. Not sure what took them so long since the food was also cold. We had no utensils, butter, jam, or anything. And our server was nowhere to be found. I had to get up and go find someone in order to get napkins, and even pay my bill!! Needless to say I will not be coming back. read more

Service was horrible. When I received my order meet was not prepared well and uncooked. I asked if they could please cook it a few minutes longer. After 10 mins I asked how much longer she replied idk how long it will take since I asked it to be cooked longer. She was beyond rude . Then my original server came by and said he will go check on it and came right out with it looking excatly the same which he wasn't aware of my request. I asked what the server that was rude to me name was and he replied Lordyn . This was a special day for my daughter and unfortunately it ruined the start of it. Five stars for this location. Met a few friends here for breakfast on Sunday morning. The parking lot was a bit tight, so I was glad to be able to snag a parallel parking spot directly out front. The food was delicious, which has almost always been my experience when coming to Snooze. We ordered a few bennies, a Spuds Deluxe, and a few Palomimosas. The Palomimosas are a personal favorite and always hit the spot! Our waitress was absolutely amazing -- super patient with us as we waited for one in our party and when I asked for a remake of my Spuds Deluxe. Great location, great staff/customer service, and great food. Can't go wrong when coming to Snooze. read more

The only downfall is limited parking in their designated parking lot, HOWEVER, street parking in close proximity is abundantly available. Our waitress was excellent. She checked in appropriately, was knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent recommendations... ie the omg French toast. I was a little concerned about the cheese but bayBAY, this french toast was delish. It wasn't overbearingly sweet but lacked no sweetness, moist, fresh, and flavorful. Next time I come I will be tackling the burrito, which was second runner up on my list. Definitely worth a visit or a revisit. read more

I love this place! The crab cake Benedict was almost too beautiful to eat. Of course I scarfed it down and almost licked the plate. I had the strawberry shortcake pancake, which was scrumptious. One, two, three pancakes to meet hunger in the morning at a new eatery for me. A wonderful and colorful breakfast meal. Enjoying a nice meal after Hurricane Beryl with a friend looking out, in sharing a meal. I had been wanting to try this someday and now was dining at the Snooze A.M. eatery. Blueberry? Pancake. Pineapple? Pancake. Sweet Potato? Pancake. The blueberry was close to a creamed filled flat doughnut, next to the pineapple filled dessert like pancake lighter than a Danish and tasty, shifting to the sweet potato, glistening gold and delightful flavor. With finishing touches the blueberry's taste was fruity, light, resonating bluish swirls. The pineapple was less fluffy with a pineapple design and a natural flavor reminding me of a light Upside Down Pineapple Cake. Now, drum roll the Sweet Potato was the most savory, with a nice touch of spicy sweet hidden syrup or honey. This Pancake Flight being a nice combination did not go without candied spicy bacon. Snooze was a brunch hit!! We got there on a Saturday morning and it was difficult to find parking; I suggest parking along Lovett Blvd and making the short walk to Snooze. There were a lot of people waiting outside but luckily we were able to join the waiting list on Yelp beforehand so we didn't have to wait too long. We were greeted when we entered and our waitress was attentive. The vibe was cozy, sleek, and everything was fairly clean, especially for how fast pace the workers were moving at. We started off with mimosas that came in a large sized glass. My girlfriend got the "sandwich I am" and I got the Santa Fe Sandwich with the pancake of the week which was sugar bacon pancakes at the time (yeah it sounds crazy but it was amazing). Make sure to order the hash browns, they did not disappoint. Overall the flavors were great, the wait to be seated and for the food was reasonable, and I felt very comfortable here. From food to service this place never disappoints! This is probably the most popular brunch spot in the area. It's always packed! I recommend getting in line and checking in while you are on the way. The wait is almost always about an hour. It is worth it though! I usually get the pancakes but I decided to get the Benedict duo this time and OMG so good! I got the avocado smash and the habanero pork belly. Both were amazing but the habanero pork belly was out of this world good. Out of all the plates on the table, absolutely nothing looked short of amazing. We also tried pineapple, orange and grapefruit mimosas. All great! I was sad they do not sell carafes though :( Our sever was awesome as well, I wish I could remember her name. The place is super cute and cozy. I love the orange colors and vintage cafe vibes. Came in Saturday morning and thought it'd be packed but they didn't have us wait at all. The parking is accessible everywhere. I ordered the chai latte with oat milk and it was delicious. It was strong and didn't taste overly sweet like the usual syrups they use and I appreciated that. I personalized my avocado toast and added soyrizo and it was bomb. I want to try the vegan pancakes next time. I liked that they had vegan options. My mom and sis ordered the veggie omelet, and pancakes and they cleared they plates out. We were all so quiet eating at the table because we were all focused on the food. I'm definitely returning and am so happy with their incredible service. Good place for brunch! We were meeting some friends here and because I've been burned by not checking the Yelp waitlist before, I had the right mind to check it this time and scheduled our wait in line for the time that we were planning to make it there. Parked, got the text that our table was ready, and walked in immediately to our table - couldn't have gone smoother than that honestly. The wait was getting up to an hour by the time we got there. We got the snooze classic with scrambled eggs and the strawberry shortcake pancakes from the summer menu. Our friends got the spuds deluxe and a lox-n-latke benny with the signature pancake flight for the table to share. The strawberry pancakes were delicious, a bit sweet if you're eating earlier in the morning but still good! No complaints about the snooze classic or the entrees from our friends either. Snooze has always been a popular spot since it arrived in Houston, but as more spots have opened the quality of food and service definitely varies. We've been to this Snooze a few times and haven't had any major issues but a few things did bother me. On our most recent visit the waitress was M.I.A for a good 15 minutes when we were first seated. I get it's a busy restaurant but when I peaked inside I saw her kind of hanging out. after waiting 45 minutes for a table (pretty standard at Snooze) I'd like to get my order in soon. Once we got our orders in, the drinks came pretty quickly but my matcha was terrible. Powdery with caked matcha at the bottom and tasted gross. The food was good - I love getting pancakes from Snooze because the flavors and portions are great. This location does its eggs a little to runny for sunny side up (it's been multiple times so I should start asking for them to be a little more done). Towards the end of our meal, we waited another 15 or so minutes to pay and then I wanted to hand her our payment and tip but after another 10 minutes I had to find her to give it to her. read more

For food this time I got the prosciutto and Brie toast, which I really enjoyed. It was savory and filling. The little salad is very fresh. Came to the Montrose location the other day, granted I arrived pretty late and they were preparing to close within the hour so that part is my fault but the food was just okay. The place was clean but there were a few gnats. I ordered the baked potato with Barbacoa & my hashbrowns tasted a little burnt. We also ordered the pancake flight which was good & the fresh apple juice / orange juice is always a favorite. A must try is the specialty bacon / everything but Bacon. I always get it and it never disappoints. The food was just a miss for me that day. Willing to give them another try. read more
