Went on a Wednesday noon. Got seated right away. The parking was a little hard to find even on a weekday lunch time so make sure you plan accordingly for weekends. But there are a plenty of free parking spots! Got breakfast burrito. It's huge and wow so delicious. We also got the pancake flight and it was also very fluffy and not too sweet! Wished I had more time to explore this establishment for the various goodies it looks to be held. The beautiful open layout of the restaurant has multiple tables, booths and a "BAR" area, seen typical of fusion based breakfast/lunch/dinner joint. A short walk from the Orange MetroLink Station (~5mins), the restaurant opens at 6:30am and was already semi-packed when I walked in around 7:10am. I can see about 5 long booths, various tables seating from 4-8, and bar seating up to 7-8 stools with a nice bar waiting area for those venturing the TO-GO appetite. The menu looks to have so many good options to dine on, but short on time, I had to go with the quick and fast meal if I'm to catch this train to Union Station. The lovely server Abi was very nice and full of morning smiles to brighten anyone starting off their day. Thank you for taking the order Abi! Within less than 15 minutes, I received my order to go nicely tucked and sealed in a plastic recyclable material Bag and a sticker with your name, meal and a warm gesture of enjoyment from the server, nothing beats a smile and breakfast to go away with. I ordered the Biscuit & Gravy item, which comes standard with 2 eggs sunny-side up. The picture does not do it even justice to the taste that the meal provided. The biscuit was well made with the crunchy crust and soft insides, paired with the creamy gravy that had sausages of galore! When taken together with the PERFECT sunny side up eggs, it was a meal fit for a King yet simple for the lame and lay people :) I'm definitely adding this breakfast joint to my list of great eats in the city of Orange. Whenever I travel this is one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately my visit this time was not a good one. First, one of my favorite parts about this restaurant is the coffee! I love the honey oat .... But my drink was not good at all. That already ruins my meal. I ordered pancakes they were ok nothing special. After all of that, I came in starving and left very unsatisfied. I waited an additional 25-30'mins for my check after I had already asked for it. I was next to the bar near all of them so not sure why it was so hard to get good service. They said they were slammed but every SNOOOZE restaurant is slammed that I go too when I travel. I don't know, I was so excited because I happen to drive by and see it. Parked went in and I will never go back to that location. I just really hate when it's an early morning and the meal starts with bad coffee. The last time I went to snooze was last year in March so I was so excited to get some breakfast. Also I have never heard so many curse words come from staff before at a restaurant it was extremely interesting that might be why the food and coffee were not on point. Look... we usually come a couple of times a month on Sundays and everything is great! However we had the time to come today (Tuesday) and expected the same hospitality and great service but we left disappointed and without even being served. Seems the servers right now at 1pm are their C team and are just there until they want to because from the host to the 2-3 servers that passed our table not one greeted us or helped us. One server went to the table next to us that came maybe 7min after us and immediately greeted and started to assist. We overheard that same server saying "that's not my table" .... we sat for around 10min without even a greeting. We decided to leave as it was clear not one of those servers wanted the business and it had already left a pour impression on us and a complete 180 from the experience we usually get during the weekend. It's hospitality, be hospitable, even if it isn't your table you can smile and say "your server will be right with you" ... the host did bring us waters after a while but at that point it was too late. Mind you it wasn't busy they just didn't want to service. 2 stars for weekday service. read more

Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. My boyfriend and I came in for breakfast and, after being seated, waited an extended period without being greeted or offered water. During that time, a nearby table that was seated after us had their full order taken before anyone checked on us. After we flagged this to the host, our server (the same server) eventually came over. We placed a simple order, pancakes and sides and toast but the timing and service continued to be inconsistent. We received one pancake first (not part of our order), then our pancake flight, but none of our other items arrived for another 15 minutes. By then, the pancakes were cold, my coffee was empty with no refill offered, and one of the pancakes in the flight was incorrect. When the rest of the food finally came out, it was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting for a while. Midway through the meal, we were also informed by another server that our original server had gone on break without letting us know. We understand that mistakes happen, and we did speak with a manager, who apologized. However, no adjustments were made despite the delays and incorrect items. It was my first time at Snooze and it definitely won't be my last. Our server, Taylor, was incredibly kind and had great customer service from start to finish. There are so many options on the menu, including calorie- and carb-conscious choices, which I really appreciated. The cappuccino and cortado were both delicious, and it's great that they offer non-dairy milk options as well. There's plenty of parking around the area, but unfortunately the city now requires paid parking, which is a bummer. That's obviously not the businesses' fault though. Errrrrr I've been to the Tustin location several times and this was my first time at this one, but I might be sticking to the Tustin one from now on. I got the shrimp and grits and the grits were cold and congealed. The shrimp here were def not like the big and juicy Tustin ones. I think the biggest difference was there was no sauce on this one. Like usually the sausage and pepper part adds a saucey like component to the dish, but here it was just dry. The congealed grits were the biggest bummer tho. Thai was my second time coming here but my mom's first, we got in right when they opened so we got a table quickly. The restaurant is very cute and bright, they had Saturday morning cartoons on the TV by the bar and music playing, it's not quiet by any means but you also won't struggle to have a conversation and there is a patio if you have a dog with you or need more quieter of spaces. I had the Duo Benny which is a choice of a half of two different eggs Benedict from the menu, perfect for those that can't decide. Today I had the Bella Bella Benny and the Smashed Avocado. The Bella is prosciutto and poached egg over brioche and the hollandaise was paired with a balsamic. Very good, served warm and the brioche was outstanding. I'm not a fan of balsamic but the pairing of it with the hollandaise cut that vinegar tastes that I don't like. The smashed avocado is colder than the other, but makes sense considering the thick cut very ripe tomato and fresh avocado. This one was not my preference which is not because of flavor or anything but because i don't care for the temperature the cold tomato and warm egg just not my jam. But as a whole? Amazing. Excellent flavor palette, perfectly seasoned, if you're looking for a fresh tasting Benedict that feels lighter? get this one. All of the Benedict's come with a hockey puck sized round of hash browns, which are home made, no frozen anything here. Seasoned with parsley that you can see and so good, even better when mixed with egg yolk and Hollandaise. Mom had the shrimp and grits minus the sausage and the sofrito on the side. I've not had grits before the idea has always made me a little nervous of what it supposed to taste like because I've heard too many things but this? I get it now. Comforting and like gritty mashed potatoes amazingly seasoned and small shrimp that fits on a spoonful, paired with an egg on top that just adds more flavor. Honestly if it had been social acceptable, the bowl would have been licked clean; that's how good it was. Fear no grits here and absolutely try this dish. As a treat front our server, we were given a pancake to try! We got their strawberry shortcake pancake. Now there's a reason we didn't order any pancakes and that's because neither of us actually like them. This though? This knocked socks off. The pancake alone is bland, there's no sugar in it which makes sense here because it's paired with sweet strawberry drizzle, a vanilla sauce and strawberry mascarpone with candied almonds and the freshest of strawberries. Together this pancake is ridiculously good. Like wanting to cry and hit the table good. If you don't like pancakes I would encourage trying one of theirs. Parking isn't great in this area depending on the time of day but there is a garage down the street and street parking if you can get one. The wait times can be a lot too so be sure to join the waitlist or make a reservation when you can! read more

Joined the waitlist around noon as we were driving over and were seated around 12:25, so if you time it right, you won't have to wait linger than 5 minutes. I had the jalapeño and cheddar omelette, a new dish, and it was just okay. I enjoyed the kick from the jalapeño cream cheese that was dolloped on top of the omelette. Otherwise, it had a little too much mushroom. The hashbrown was also not very crispy or seasoned. The pancake flight was delicious. I like the fact that you can customize the pancakes or even sub french toast instead. My favorite was the strawberry shortcake with the little crumbs of graham crackers. Sweet, but not too sweet. I feel like this Snooze has gone downhill. I've been quite a few times now and when it 1st opened it was quite good. But the last 3 or 4 times I've gone it's not great. After my recent lunch experience I will not be returning. We had to wait awhile for them to clear an outside table. I was confused because walking past the outside on my way in-nothing was dirty and there was plenty of seating. Understaffed maybe? My iced tea was watered down. My colleagues strawberry lemonade took forever. And the food was just not good. I ordered the BLT Protein bowl, since the only 3 lunch items they had were spicy and they couldn't make them not spicy, and it was somewhat mushy and pretty bland. My colleague ordered the Cobb and they forgot the dressing and it looked nothing like what was advertised. Service was just ok. We had to flag our server down about the dressing and to get our bill. Classic breakfast spot in OC. I've been to a few of their locations and have always enjoyed my experience, this time being no different. The inside is very inviting and the service is excellent! Their omelettes are my favorite and I love that you can order a garden salad or fruit as a side if you're not feeling something heavy like hashbrowns or breakfast potatoes (which are good don't get me wrong).
