Eggs Benedict, veggie bowls, pancakes, fresh toast and the breakfast tacos are all best in class. The breakfast burrito is the worse thing I've had here (too filling, too much going on - the Taco Stand easily beats it) but still - a small complaint when everything else is so perfect. Service is generally upbeat and happy. I once had a server give my party and I a free pancake voucher because he felt we had a positive vibe. I love this kind of stuff! Great breakfast spot in the Orange Circle! I've only been on weekday mornings, but it was still pretty busy! Really good coffee, I enjoyed the mocha! They also have some other lattes that sounded interesting! They have really good pancakes and a good variety of traditional breakfast favorites as well! I got strawberry shortcake pancakes on my last visit, but they had the option of a pancake flight which was intriguing. You can join the waitlist online, I imagine that would be super helpful on a weekend! They also have online ordering if you wanted to do takeout. It is pretty cute inside! One of my favorite breakfast places! I love their Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes, it's the perfect sweetness and a great option. The egg benedict's are amazing as well. Food is great, the location is nice and within walking distance to Old Town Orange. They have multiple locations in SoCal. The only warning I have is that it is very popular and gets very busy. For us it was 45 mins. With that said we visited a nearby antique shop to kill the time. So it was worth the wait for us but keep that in mind. There is a free city parking structure about a block away within view of the restaurant. They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items but I have only gotten breakfast. Pancakes are very good and shareable if you really have too...LOL Omelets are hearty and the hasbrown patty is sooo good. read more

It was a beautiful Saturday late morning, qnd my Girlfriend and I went to check out Snooze. We had been looking for a place that had gluten-free pancakes, as she has an allergy, but being human also has cravings. We checked out Snooze, and let me tell you the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Pancakes did not disappoint and the other entrees we ordered were all so delicious. I would highly recommend the whipped cottage cheese toast with a fig compote and hot honey for a light breakfast that is perfectly balanced. Now the reason for the low rating... our server. Let me preface this with every busser was running around clearing plates and such, but our server was terrible. I worked in restaurants as a busser, server, and bartender, and in all my years, I have never seen a server care less about their job, their time, or the customers experience. Cassandra was our waitress today, and she seemed to want to be everywhere else except at work. I had ordered a plain house coffee, and asked if it could be iced, to which she said yes, then proceeds to bring me a hot coffee anyway. When I asked for a glass of ice, she said she would take care of it, then took the coffee away for about 10 minutes until I went over to the service station to ask, when it was promptly brought to our table. Our water was refilled only once at the end of the meal after plates were cleared, and they had been empty most of the meal. I really enjoyed the food, and I want to come back, but if I am ever seated in her section again I might have to walk out in order to be respectful of everyone's time. I really hope the majority of servers do not work with this kind of lackadaisical attitude, because it would truly be a 5/5 experience if it felt like the servers were prioritized with making sure you were taken care of rather than trying to hide in service stations when your customers need something. read more

Snooze is always busy. Street parking is a bit challenging. The shrimp & grits is what keeps me coming back here. It's delicious! The grits are creamy, there are enough medium size firm shrimps, and the sofrito is nice addition. Topped with an egg, I asked for my egg over easy. Today we also ordered the corn beef hash. Not a dish I have ever cared for, but this one is the best I ever tasted. Has real chunks of corned beef! We also ordered a pork belly eggs Benedict. It was tasty. I think all of their Benny's would be worth a try. We've had a variety of their drinks on various visits. Came here on a busy Sunday for a birthday brunch. It was my first time at snooze and this place did not disappoint. We love a good brunch and when i saw they had espresso martinis we were all about it. This is probably one of the best espresso martinis ice had in OC. It was sweet and creamy( if youre into that) and so easy to go down that we had 2. The matcha was honestly meh i would not get again. The Benedict was super good i got the avocado one and added bacon! The hashbrowns were so cutely shaped too. My friend had a omelet and also enjoyed it. Our server was honestly amazing. Super nice staff. Greeted at door and was escorted to a dirty table. Our party stood by as the table was cleaned. After we sat, we waited approximately 15 minutes before we were server came to get drink orders. Super slow service. When our food came , it was cold and we had no silverware. Also, I love dogs just as much as anyone but why are folks allowed to have three dogs at a table barking at everyone that walks by? The omelet was awesome--perfectly cooked and flavorful. However, I've got to knock them a bit for being stingy with the butter and jam (I did ask for more butter and was given a tiny dime-sized portion - but no more jam. You can see the few drops of jam in the hobbit-sized ramekin in the included breakfast picture). The English muffin could've used more of both to really shine. Also, no one returned to refill my iced tea, which was a bit of a letdown. I still give Snooze high marks overall, but more attention to the small details would've made this visit perfect. read more

I have been coming to Snooze for years now. I've been to the Tustin and Laguna locations but this one HANDS DOWN in theeeeee best :)! I have never cared for hash browns since often times than not, they're not flavorful-- this location changed my mind lol. I used to *always * get something instead of them. These looked better (and were!) and I'm glad I ended up giving them another chance. My new favorite dish is the jalepeno cheddar omelette-- so delicious, i'm glad they made it a regular item. Everyone there is always so friendly & cheerful. Even when it's a crazy packed holiday like Mother's Day, everyone still has an excellent attitude :)! They always play fun music, too. We arrived here on a Sunday at 11 am, day after the Dodgers won the World Series. It was packed and there was a long line outside. Mind you, this is a very large restaurant with an outside patio. Thus, my hubby dropped me off before he looked for parking so I could get us on the wait list right away. The hostess said there would be a 35-50 minute wait. When she saw the disappointment on my face (I was so looking forward to this meal!), she told me that I can take an empty seat at the bar, if there was any, and I can order my food without having to wait in line. I found two empty seats and took it right away. Kris, the bartender, immediately asked me for my drink order. I ordered hot chocolate for me and regular coffee for my hubby. Kris served two glasses of water right away. As it took my hubby 20 minutes to make it in, I was able to observe all the servers. They were working non-stop, clearing the glassware from the dishwasher, putting them away, refilling the dishwasher, refilling food/drink supplies in the ref, making drinks, etc. Kris took our order at about 11:30 am. We ordered pork belly Benedict and pork belly with fried rice. It was about 12:08 pm when we received our order. Needless to say, we were famished and ate our food so fast. Both dishes were delicious. Loved that my bene came with a cranberry sauce which balanced the creamy hollandaise sauce. Hubby was equally very happy with his order. Kris then apologized that it took so long for our order to arrive. As such, he said our entire meal will be comped. We were pleasantly surprised to hear this, especially because Kris has been checking in with us the whole time to refill my hubby's coffee, our water, etc. Aside from the wait, we left fully satiated and happy with the quality of our meal. read more

Right off the bat, the inside decor gives old school diner and retro energy; no complaints, my cousin and I were into it! Service was fast and efficient as the restaurant was very full; for reference, it was around 11 am on a Thursday. I don't remember exactly what I ordered, but i probably should've ordered something else as it wasn't what I expected and it didn't match the picture I had seen online, unless I got confused and ordered the wrong item. We were a party of 4, 2 adults and 2 toddlers. We had our dog with us so asked to sit outside around 12:30. It took about 10 minutes for us to get seated. We ended up sitting down right as everyone else on the patio was finishing up. We started getting impatient after 15 minutes of no one coming out to offer drinks or asking for our order. I finally went inside to ask one of the servers when someone would be out to serve us. He said he'd find our server. When I came back out my husband was ready to leave but the guy came out and explained that our server got switched to another section as we were getting seated so didn't realize we were there. Essentially we were forgotten about. He apologized and promptly took our order. We were irritated but glad we finally had our order in. A minute later, Shelby the general manager walks out and apologized, acknowledged how frustrating that was and that it shouldn't have happened and offered a nice comp for our trouble. They did exactly what should be done when a mistake happens, they took accountability face to face, quickly remedied the mistake and offered a goodwill gesture. Super classy and definitely reset our initial poor impression. The food we excellent. High quality ingredients, cooked well. We were all satisfied with our meals: corned beef hash; protein bowl; kids egg scramble; and kids pancake. We were very impressed with the service, hospitality and food. Always some great eats at snooze no matter which location you go to. This was our first time at this particular snooze location (been to the one in the OC and San Diego). Our first time with our daughter. I ordered protein trio omelet and it was fantastic which a nice serving of protein in my omelet. The distinct flavors of the bacon, sausage and ham combined beautifully for a complete breakfast meal. The hash brown was soo good i loved the crispy outer texture and perfectly cooked hash-brown. I also ordered the pumpkin latte. The pumpkin latte has a well defined pumpkin flavor but not overpowering the taste of the coffee. Well balanced. My wife liked it as well. My wife always gets their eggs Benedict when at snooze and it does not disappoint. My daughter loved her blueberry pancake and she tried some hashbrown. She also enjoyed her own little cup of ice water with a cute little lid for kids. She had a wonderful time. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and attentive and friendly. We go in the queue on the app driving here and got right in. The food is the same here as every Snooze - top notch. OMG french toast is the choice for everyone in the my family except me. I get the same traditional breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast. I love their consistency across locations. Just like all Snoozes, they never have many choices for their t-shirts. The diner looked like something straight out of the 70s and totally fit the vibe of Old Town Orange. They told us it'd be a 40-minute wait, but we were seated in under 15, so that was a nice surprise. Our server was attentive and helpful with answering any questions about the menu and even offered suggestions on what to get. I got the Snoozy Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious and flavorful, the salsa they gave worth it was great, just wished I had more! We came here after the classic car show at downtown Orange. We only had to wait 10 minutes. Service was great. The hostess was very nice and friendly and our server was very friendly too. I had the corned beef hash , my husband made his own omelette and my daughter had the snooze breakfast and we shared the trio pancakes. The sweet potato pancake was really good. I like the food at Broken Yolk and flappy jacks a little better. My issue was with the coffee. I am used to having the sever coming constantly and filling up my coffee cup and there would be several different flavors of creamer on the table for my coffee. Here they brought me one cup of coffee and a little half and half in a glass cup. I asked the server if they had any flavored creamer and she said no. No one filled my coffee cup. I had to put tons of sugar to make the coffee taste better. At broken yolk I probably had five cups because they were keep filling it and lots of different flavors of creamers on the table, same at flappy jacks. The eggs were fluffy and tasty with a packed circle mold of hash browns that had a nice flavor to them, along with crispy bacon that had a nice crunchy chew, topped with a slice of rustic bread and jam. I love their rustic bread! A nice cup on hot green tea with honey to top it all off just hit the spot perfectly. Excellent service! Decent prices. Sometimes there is a wait but it's worth it.
