Came here for brunch with a friend and it's been a while that I've had Snooze, but I'm glad I went! There was a 10 minute wait for a table as it was a weekend. The server was super kind and checked in throughout the meal. I got the snooze classic which came with 3 eggs, a choice of protein, hash browns and the choice of either toast or tortilla. It also came with a side of jam. The dish was $15.50 and was very filling! The food came out hot and paired really well with hot sauce.

Parking can be a challenge in the area but I found paid hourly parking on the street. Patio dining is available. Loved the wicked inspired interior, high ceilings, variety of seating (bar, round booth, traditional). The hostess was friendly and sat us immediately. Iggy (server) was attentive and great. All the food was amazing! I ordered- Hot Chai, I just wish it was served in a mug and not a glass. Super Greens drink, refreshing with just the right amount of sweet with a little kick Protein Trio Omelet was perfectly cooked with the right proportion of meat and cheese. Cinnamon pancakes were off the charts, I'm gonna dream about that yumminess! Great experience overall and looking forward to going back!

Another successful Snooze location in the heart of downtown Orange. Food is pretty good and competitively priced. Service is good, but you do have to hunt down servers during busy hours. Plenty of parking available around the downtown Orange area in the parking structures Food/Drink- 4.5 stars- everything was really solid and no complaints Pork belly benedict- I really enjoyed the sweetness and savoriness of the whole meal Pancake flight- basically a breakfast dessert. I enjoyed every one of the flavors, but loved the variety (it would get monotonous ordering just 1 of the pancakes as a whole entree) Service- 4 stars All the servers are professional and accommodating. It just can get busy during their rush hour where you have to fetch for service Bottom Line Excellent breakfast spot located in the heart of downtown Orange

DISCONNECTED & ODD. Upon arrival, I was a little perplexed by the service as all the team members seemed to be on a different page. I sat at the bar as it was the fastest seating option for a solo diner on a Sunday morning and noticed some interesting things. For one, my "waitress" disappeared and so I was handed off to a new one. My next waitress wasn't very attentive, but she was a little nicer and I could tell she was new. My whole experience was very awkward and left me unimpressed compared to other Snooze locations. I got a "kiss my feet" aura from some of the crew and that left a bad taste in my mouth. My only reason for giving this location a three-star rating is the food and lattes. My breakfast was amazing and my honey oat latte really hit the spot. I sat by a nice gentleman to my right, but we were both a bit out of our element due to the service. The bar/counter is great for a morning game, I got to see some events on the screen while waiting. Overall, the location is huge and has a plenty of room for multiple parties. I spotted an outdoor patio with shaded seating (at least it was shaded while I was there). You'll find this Snooze in Old Towne near Plaza Park. There's paid parking nearby, but it's totally walkable if you live nearby or find a free parking space elsewhere.

Really just your standard American brunch/breakfast diner. They have a lot of interesting drinks though! Their always busy as well, but the line moves fast. Food came out quick and no complaints! I really enjoyed the tomato soup and grilled cheese! The blueberry pancakes also hit the spot! I tried my boyfriend's pancake flight, and would highly recommend the potato pancake. It sounds interesting/weird, but really has great flavor!!

Superb brunch spot in the City of Orange - I stopped by with an old college buddy yesterday morning. He ordered a decaf coffee, I got my usual matcha latte, then ordered another as it was so good. For our food, I opted for avocado toast with a sunny side up egg and a side of avocado, he ordered a vegan scramble. The food was delicious and filling - perfectly made with fresh ingredients. Add in the warm and efficient service and reasonable prices, and this restaurant more than earned its 5 stars. Will be back!

Went here for an early lunch to celebrate a family milestone! Great food and drinks, kind of slow service. Had a decaf coffee and Rejuvenate drink. Food: Bravocado Toast. Benny Duo with a Smashed Avocado Benny and Bella! Bella! Benny. Garden Harvest Omelet; the chili lime avocado was very mild.

Oh My Gosh. If you want to start your day off with a man Amazing Breakfast and around Amazing Friendly Staff then this is the place. I am so happy I found Snooze because It absolutely made my day much brighter ! Now to the staff and the food. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and seated . Our server Alexis then arrived with a smile . He was so attentive and answered any questions we had. I wanted so many things on the menu and of course his we will have to come back tomorrow! I ordered the protein omelette and my husband ordered the Snooze. We were given a pineapple pancake to try ! Can I tell you we were in heaven. Went to Snooze for a brunch/lunch affair to celebrate a birthday with family. Located in Old Towne OC, so try to come early so you have time to find adequate parking and join the Yelp waitlist to beat the crowd. Snooze gives retro diner vibes with modern health conscious/vegetarian options. Their Protein BLT Bowl (4.5/5) was oddly satisfying. I went in expecting to be still hungry after eating it, but the ratio of proteins, eggs, and spinach was perfect, delicious, and kept me full. I was happy to have tried Snooze and would be okay going again in the future!

    Espresso Martini

Everything was delicious! The service was great and fast. The chocolate milk is probably one of the best I've ever tried. Also, the espresso martini was amazing.

It was my birthday breakfast :) Good morning yelpers ..... oooof this place was not a snooze :) .... A bit of a wait time for 10:15 am on Sunday superbowl. Not too bad though . Service was pretty quick and the server had wonderful suggestions . The decor is super cute but a bit tight in the booths for a party of 5 ... we made it work . The partner kept it safe by ordering the snooze special ... I think that's what it was called . He was jealous of what I had ordered ... my plate seemed more flavorful . Check out the photos and i definitely am coming back to try something else . Get the strawberry shortcake pancakes and the Benny duo with avo smash and habanero ‍

I wanted to try this place knowing full well that the parking situation isn't the best. We ended up parking around the block, but the walk really wasn't bad at all. I came specifically for the Basil & The Bee Burrata Toast, and it did not disappoint. It's a toasted rustic bread with balsamic date spread, burrata, basil pesto, roasted tomatoes and a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey. I asked for the toast to be extra crunchy since all the toppings can easily make it soggy, and they were happy to accommodate. The toast leans a little on the sweet side, but overall it was delicious and packed with a lot of great flavors in every bite. We also tried the Garden Harvest Omelet, which was quite good as well. It's cage-free eggs with sautéed asparagus, red onions, mushrooms, zucchini and red bell peppers, topped with chili-lime avocado, herbed cream cheese and served with greens, Dijon vinaigrette, Parmesan, and spiced pepitas. It felt light, fresh, and healthy overall.

When making reservations a $25 deposit is required per person but will be applied to your bill day of visit. The hostess was very kind upon check in and took us to the back where the 46 door is. She provided us a code and explained the time limit along with house rules. We were then told to knock on the door and proceed with the experience. Kudos to the owner as this is the only speakeasy in the OC that has a true speakeasy feel entrance. They had a gentleman open the peephole and ask for the entry code. Once we said the code we entered a really cool mine shaft area. The attention to detail was on point and I was impressed! We were then taken upstairs to a private bar where there are four tables of four so a max of 16. This makes sense as to why reservations are hard to come by. The only ding about seating is you are sat with strangers it is not a private table. Luckily we had a fun older couple at our table so it made the conversation more lively. Otherwise don't go here with an expectation of an intimate/ private date night. They also offer a limited food menu but looked very promising. However, we were here for a night cap so just dabbled in drinks. The bartender had a seasonal menu of 4 cocktails he created. He explained the drinks and then had us try each one with a straw. We then placed our order based on what we liked. He did say if we were not a fan he could create us our own personal cocktail as well. The old fashion he created was phenomenal! Overall, a cool little spot in the OC. Do wish they were open later as they do close at 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

The restaurant was dark and stylish, and I immediately liked the vibe. Even though it was crowded for a Thursday night, we were seated within 15 minutes. We each picked a shareable dish to split. Predictably, my daughter chose the mac and cheese. I rolled my eyes -- it's so her -- but it turned out to be the best of the four. Maybe it was the velvety cheese sauce or the golden cracker crust that made it so irresistible, but that mac and cheese was, as she'd say, absolutely bussin'. The next standout was the maple-buttered Brussels sprouts, my man's pick. If all vegetables tasted this good, I'd eat them every day. Candied pecans, maple butter, blue cheese -- how could that not be amazing? Was it healthy? Sus, but definitely worth it. I picked the pig candy for the group, which was outrageously sweet and candy-like. Clearly, this wasn't healthy -- bacon, sugar, and rye whiskey caramel make a trifecta of indulgence. But it was so delicious, I couldn't complain. The sliders were the last shareable we tried. They were fine but didn't stand out -- the meat was a bit dry. I also ordered a cocktail (something pretty and fruity, though I can't remember the name). The bartender nailed it, delivering a delicious drink. My man enjoyed his Negroni. The service was great, and I loved the grassy area with fire pits for hanging out. Excellent place for our first night out in Irvine!

She wanted to try the vegan (cauliflower) salt & vinegar wings ($14, but $9 during happy hour). They were breaded and fried well, but had very little flavor. There was just a light sprinkle of a salt & vinegar seasoning. More salt and a dash of malt vinegar on them, or a side of malt vinegar would have made them a lot better. The happy hour food was a good value and got something in our stomachs. My first cocktail was the Wilderness Badge (Tequila, Lemongrass, Basil, Bergamot, Lemon, $17). This was by far my favorite. I love Italicus liqueur and this drink had great bergamot flavor up front with a light basil flavor from the basil infused tequila. It was very balanced and I would have never guessed this was a tequila based cocktail. She started out with the Sasquatch Sighting (Jamacian Overproof Rum, Cynar, Mango, Molasses, Lime, $17). This was balanced, with a light bitterness and light sweetness with mango flavor. Next, I tried The Lost Camper (Demerara Rum, Thai Green Tea, Pineapple, Coconut, Lime, $16). It was a pineapple bomb with a hint of coconut. I didn't like it at all and actually sent it back. I did think the skeleton arm and hand swizzle stick was cool. It is served with the hand at the bottom, but I took the picture with it sticking out. Instead, I had the Black Sands from the regular cocktail menu (Bali Hai Pineapple Rum, Diplomatica Reserve Rum, Pineapple, Orange, Guava, Lime, Coco, charcoal, $18). It is served with a flaming lime and sugar cube. I've had this several times and love it. It has a great funky complex flavor. Next, she had the Naked & Afraid (Mezcal, Campari, Smoked Pineapple, Serrano, Passionfruit, Lemon, $17). This was really good with a great complex mix of smoke and bitterness with a little heat. She gulped it down, and I was lucky to get a few sips. We decided to share the last new cocktail, the Scouts Honor (Vokda, Peach, Mandarin, Orgeat, Lime, $16) so we could say we tried them all. It looks nice with a bright orange color, but it was very sweet and peach forward with a hint of orange. Our server Crystal was great, very friendly and provided great service. We started collecting mugs recently, and we bought the Belly of the Beast Monstro mug ($62) to take home. BOTB is their Pinocchio themed speakeasy in the back (separate reservation required). They also have several other Stowaway branded mugs available. This visit was definitely better than our last few. As far as the five new Summer Camp cocktails, two were excellent, one was good, one was ok, and one was not good. The food was good, and is a great value during happy hour.

Down the Rabbit Hole at STORY -- Anaheim Hills…read more If you've ever wanted to fall straight into Wonderland, STORY in Anaheim Hills is your rabbit hole. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted -- plush tufted velvet booths in dreamy blues, cascading candlestick chandeliers, walls lined with vintage books, and the most whimsical tablescapes I've ever seen. A teapot-and-teacup candelabra dripping with flowers and pocket watches greeted us like something straight off the Mad Hatter's table. Curiosity encouraged, reality optional, indeed. Half the fun was the crowd -- patrons in their finest hats and full Wonderland regalia, everyone leaning into the magic. The black-and-white spiral placemats and mismatched rose-painted china made every corner Instagram gold. We did the **Mad Hatter's Tea ($40 per guest)**, and it delivered both on theme and on flavor. The presentation arrives on a gleaming gold three-tiered stand, and there's a delightful Asian-fusion twist woven through the classic high-tea lineup: - **Goat & feta cheese pinwheels** -- pink whipped goat cheese with roasted beet purée, Genoa salami, and arugula in a spinach tortilla, finished with balsamic and honey drizzle. As pretty as they were tasty. - **Tea sandwiches** -- delicate chicken salad, egg salad, ham & dijon, and cucumber & cream cheese. - **Mozzarella, cantaloupe & prosciutto skewers** -- fresh and light. - **Freshly baked scones, danishes, and buttermilk biscuits** with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam -- warm, flaky, and exactly what high tea should be. - A sizzling **garlic shrimp skillet** with charred lemon and toasted bread that we added on -- savory and satisfying. And the theatrical touches! Each guest gets a **Tea Forté** selection (the Green Mango Peach and White Ginger Pear were lovely), a glass of sparkling wine, and a darling little **"Drink Me" potion bottle** to share -- a perfect Wonderland flourish. STORY is more than a meal; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating, planning a girls' day, or just want to escape into something beautiful, put on your favorite hat and come play. We'll absolutely be back.

While my kids ordered off the menu, my husband and I enjoyed the Mat Hatter Tea experience. My kids got the short rib pasta, the biscuits & gravy, and Italian Baked eggs, they enjoyed all of it! And of course I had to steal some of my son's baked eggs since I loved them so much from my last visit. The Mad Hatter's tea is not a traditional tea, but it was fun and different. It was reasonably priced and came with a glass of sparkling wine that you can enhance with a blue liquid (I believe it's a butterfly tea syrup) to change the color into a beautiful purple hue. The tea served is Tea Forte tea bags, rather than loose leaf teas. They do have the typical tea sandwiches, but there are also additional savory items like a cheese pinwheel and a cheese skewer. In addition to the scone and biscuit, they also had danishes and fruit. Wish they had cream for the scones, but they had jam and butter. Loved seeing all the groups dressed up for their tea parties in their fancy hats and having a great time.

Both exterior and interior look like a 1930s train station. We sat in a booth and enjoyed great food and quintessential service. I ordered the Irish French Toast. This was in the top tier of French Toasts I've ever had. The thick, battered Texas Toast had a delicate interior with a bit of powdered sugar on top. The two large pieces were surrounded by banana slices. The syrup was a house-made Jameson Irish Whiskey Sauce. Incredible. I was in breakfast nirvana from the first bite. This dish came with a side of eggs and choice of meat (I went with scrambled eggs and bacon), both of which were excellent tho nothing fancy. I also swiped a beignet from my dining companion's plate. This fat pastry was the best beignet I've ever had, so pillowy soft! Come here for a great meal surrounded by a cool, train-themed atmosphere.

He made us feel welcomed as it was our first time coming here. By we I mean my self and three friends as well. He took our orders mentally. That was impressive! And got every order correct. He knew his menu items. I ordered a hot coffee (refills available) and the garden omelette. Instead of their bakery it's chi ie of beignets or a muffin, I opted for sourdough toast. Delicious! I took some leftovers home. For what I paid for it, I think it was reasonably priced. We did come for breakfast. Around this time it's not overly packed and we came on memorial weekend. As we headed out close to noon, lunch hour is where people will begin to pour in. We saw trains pass by periodically but it wasn't bothersome. I can't wait to come back.

Had reservations for a party of four (made via online) and was seated right away. Ambiance is dark and intimate but seating was enough to feel like you had room. Drinks were delicious and strong and service was great and quick. You are limited to eating and drinking within a certain time frame but it's not bad as the servers are on it. Drinks 10/10 and food 10/10. I'm still craving their burger, one of the best ones I have had, I can't even compare it to anywhere else. Bathrooms are located outside of the speakeasy.

Not sure if reservations are required, but this speakeasy is pretty tiny so I can't imagine it can accommodate walk ins. We had a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night. The door is very well hidden, I thought it'd be in a basement around the corner or something. The space is really small, so big groups are not advised. I had the niña fresa, a strawberries and creme type drink. Delicious! If you like sweet drinks, otherwise do not get it. I had the Saturn afterwards. Still a little sweet, but mostly sour. The server came by to say that we only had 25 min left, so we hurriedly ordered a last drink. But when he delivered it, it magically became 5 min! I chugged my drink and was ushered out the door. Overall it was pretty nice but I didn't enjoy having to rush at the very end.
