It was my first time at Snooze and it definitely won't be my last. Our server, Taylor, was incredibly kind and had great customer service from start to finish. There are so many options on the menu, including calorie- and carb-conscious choices, which I really appreciated. The cappuccino and cortado were both delicious, and it's great that they offer non-dairy milk options as well. There's plenty of parking around the area, but unfortunately the city now requires paid parking, which is a bummer. That's obviously not the businesses' fault though. Classic breakfast spot in OC. I've been to a few of their locations and have always enjoyed my experience, this time being no different. The inside is very inviting and the service is excellent! Their omelettes are my favorite and I love that you can order a garden salad or fruit as a side if you're not feeling something heavy like hashbrowns or breakfast potatoes (which are good don't get me wrong). The food is always fresh and you can tell they use quality ingredients which justifies the price. For a chain, this place is great! Their prices have really gone up and they tend to be on the smaller portion side in comparison to other local brunch spots. Food is great, the location is nice and within walking distance to Old Town Orange. They have multiple locations in SoCal. The only warning I have is that it is very popular and gets very busy. For us it was 45 mins. With that said we visited a nearby antique shop to kill the time. So it was worth the wait for us but keep that in mind. There is a free city parking structure about a block away within view of the restaurant. They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items but I have only gotten breakfast. I feel like this Snooze has gone downhill. I've been quite a few times now and when it 1st opened it was quite good. But the last 3 or 4 times I've gone it's not great. After my recent lunch experience I will not be returning. We had to wait awhile for them to clear an outside table. I was confused because walking past the outside on my way in-nothing was dirty and there was plenty of seating. Understaffed maybe? My iced tea was watered down. My colleagues strawberry lemonade took forever. And the food was just not good. I ordered the BLT Protein bowl, since the only 3 lunch items they had were spicy and they couldn't make them not spicy, and it was somewhat mushy and pretty bland. My colleague ordered the Cobb and they forgot the dressing and it looked nothing like what was advertised. Service was just ok. We had to flag our server down about the dressing and to get our bill. The grits are creamy, there are enough medium size firm shrimps, and the sofrito is nice addition. Topped with an egg, I asked for my egg over easy. Today we also ordered the corn beef hash. Not a dish I have ever cared for, but this one is the best I ever tasted. Has real chunks of corned beef! We also ordered a pork belly eggs Benedict. It was tasty. It was sweet and creamy( if youre into that) and so easy to go down that we had 2. The matcha was honestly meh i would not get again. The Benedict was super good i got the avocado one and added bacon! The hashbrowns were so cutely shaped too. My friend had a omelet and also enjoyed it. Our server was honestly amazing.
