As a lover of grilled cheese and tomato soup it's more difficult to find restaurants that serve it in Phoenix than you'd expect. I ordered the Grilled 3-Cheese and Roasted Tomato Soup and loved it. All 3 cheeses tasted good, it was cheesy enough, and prepared well. The tomato soup was great for dipping. It was a bit less like a traditional tomato soup and more like the taste of tomato soup with the texture of salsa. Our waitress Rashida was incredibly warm and friendly which I always appreciate, and which always improves your experience of a restaurant. We went for lunch and it wasn't crowded, and the atmosphere was very cheerful and bright. I came to Snooze A.M for a late lunch and it went great. Everything really came together to make the perfect meal. I ordered their new Smash Burger (beef patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and spicy bacon thousand island between a pretzel bun) and a side of homemade potato chips. The burger was a perfect combo of messiness and sauciness. It melted in my mouth, and the flavors were off the charts. The chips were super crispy, and you could tell they made them in the kitchen, not pre-packaged ones like some restaurants in the area. I will absolutely order this again! The service was the best I have ever had. I was sat down immediately when I came in, which for a Scottsdale restaurant is almost unheard of. I couldn't catch her name, but one of the waitresses said that she had a favorite pancake flavor and gave me a FREE Pineapple Upside-Down Pancake as a compliment! I absolutely love her generosity, she was so incredibly kind and thoughtful, without sacrificing efficiency and helpfulness. Other than that very thoughtful act, she had my cola refills out very fast and my meal came fast, too. Inside was really comfortable. Aubrey's service is always so warm and welcoming. I popped in and had a reward for bravacado toast so enjoyed that a a long with the oatmeal to go. Both were delicious. We ate here several months ago on a very busy Saturday and thought the omelettes, pancakes, and French toast were excellent We had lunch here yesterday and were very disappointed. One of us had an omelette which was again excellent. Another had the sweet potato smash up, which was the size of an appetizer, the smallest sweet potato ever seen. We had to order a second item for that individual. The third person had the cobb salad, which was 95% Romain lettuce with a very few of the ingredients listed mixed in. We went around 1 PM on a Friday, the day before the 4th of July. Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. The inside is cutely decorated and is in theme. Our waitress, Rashida, was very bubbly and helpful. She almost strayed us from our grilled cheeses by letting us know the specials, all of which sounded delicious. First off our waiter was great. He gave us places to visit and see fireworks since we were from out of town. He gave us his opinion on food that were his favorite which I appreciate. Decided to come check out the new Snooze location in Scottsdale!! Ambiance is similar as the other locations. Dog friendly and signature colors. Started off with a couple of drinks, a delicious lavender latte for me, not too sweet which I love and a Palamosa for the mister. We visit this Snooze location about once a month. We really like that Snooze has the option to join the waitlist ahead of time to help mitigate your in-person wait. This location has a patio area as well as a comfortable and cheerful indoor eating area. Snooze has a great menu and we have never been let down by their service. I have been to Snooze, but this was my first time at this location. Our server today was Ethan. He did a great job and was very patient with our group of four. First two of the ladies felt cold because the vents they said we're blowing on them, so he went in the back and had that turned down. Then one of us asked if he could turn the music down because it was pretty loud, and he helped us with that as well. The service was great. The food, as always was phenomenal! Two of us had the avocado toast with an egg on top and a salad on the side. It was a half order but a generous amount of food. Another person had the half Benny breakfast and said it was very good. The other person in our group had the "porridge "which is actually oatmeal. It had fruit on top and they said it was very good. Love the ambience and vibe at this place. When it warms up a little, we will go back and enjoy breakfast on the patio. We went at 10:30 and they told us it would be about a 20 minute wait, but in actuality it was probably closer to 10 to 15 minutes. I like the system where they just take your phone number and give you a call when your table is ready. I forgot that they also have a waitlist. Placed an order to go & when I went in to pick it up I couldn't get anyone to give it to me despite it sitting there behind the bar. A waitress was just making drinks, refilling the small fridge there & neither she nor other waitresses bothered to say hello or we'll be with you or anything. I couldn't get their attention all the while my food was just sitting there. I finally got a waiter who came out with another other & asked how I bound get my food. He went to the lady that was too busy making drinks & restocking things & told her I needed help. When she came over o said I hope it wasn't cold & she said it's not. No apology for keeping me editing so long or anything. Needless to say yes it was cold. The man next to me even sued the service isn't what it used to be & they gave him the wrong order. I miss the days when I'd & the waitresses acknowledged you. I remembered when I walked in the door & they greeted me with a Happy Mother's Day by my name. That's how often I went. Takes a while to get seated because the couple of times I went there they didn't have a hostess so you have to wait till a server sees you and is not doing something else to seat you. so I've actually waited. I think the most I've waited was five minutes to get seated to eat. That's too long. Then on top of the poor service they charge for butter!!! They actually charged me for butter for the toast and the pancakes now how crazy is that. So I'm giving it two stars for the food and if I could give no stars for the service and being charged for butter, I would do that as well. read more

While I'm a Snooze regular, this specific location I only went to for the first time yesterday! I came here with a friend, which I'm happy about, because they chose something I had never tried before and allowed me to try it. I arrived a little late, so my friend was able to get us a booth and when I sat down, she informed me that our waitress was angelic. I hadn't met her yet, but I kept that in mind. Not soon after, our waitress, Rashida D, asked us if we required any drinks. We declined, and then about 10 minutes later placed our orders. Just under 10 minutes from ordering, we received our food! In total, we got a vegan banana bliss pancake, the snooze classic with chicken sausage, over-easy eggs and sourdough bread, and the French toast neat. Let's just say, Snooze never disappoints. I was given a hefty serving of hash browns, crunchy, just like I requested and my sausage was more flavorful than the last. The banana bliss pancakes are to die for, and my friend (whose first time it was at Snooze), loved the French toast. As did I. Rashida made sure our glasses were filled with water and checked on our meals throughout, clearing away plates attentively. This visit is the one that brought me to Gold status at Snooze, so next time I'm in I'll be receiving a free entree! (This is me telling you to sign up in their app). The fried rice was absolutely delicious with a crispy pork belly and just the slightest kick. The mimosa was unique and had the right balance of lavender and citrus. Rashida, our server, was absolutely amazing. She had a great energy with lots of enthusiasm. The service was prompt and the pricing was reasonable. She treated us to Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes. The breakfast burrito was good, way bigger than we anticipated. The only thing was that it had way too many beans for our preferences. On the other hand, the snooze classic was just that, a classic combination of breakfast items you can hardly go wrong with. Like other locations, this one was decorated similarly in theme. The only downside to our visit was that even though the service was fast, it wasn't particularly friendly.
