I used to come to this place often. I like supporting small businesses in our neighborhood and this was certainly one of them. I came so often that my husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas. I went to redeem it in February and that's when the run - around began. I was denied the first time after my services were complete. No problem, I paid and was told that the former owner would be contacting for payment of the certificate. I went back 3 times after that and was given different excuses each time. Finally, today, I said "So $30 has been stolen from us ?" She said "yes, sorry." I'm supposed to continue to spend my money there? No thanks. By the way, I have the receipt for the gift certificate for proof of purchase. I don't only give negative reviews (nearly all are 4-5 stars) and I enjoy supporting local businesses but I cannot support bad business decisions. They lost years of continued business from myself and my daughter (and my out of town guests) for $30... read more

Great service! I came here to get my nails done for graduation (hence the maroon and gold). The place was clean and the staff was so friendly and polite. I've never had any other nail salon pay as much detail as they have. I will definitely be a repeat customer! read more

I initially found this place by driving around the neighborhood last summer...I come here on and off as my schedule permits. I walked into day to find empty nail salon so I just imagined I was going to picking my nail color and jump right in the chair.. The owner of the nail salon asks me, "How can we help?" I reply, I need pedicure again there are three technicians doing NOTHING so I thought I was going hop in.. But instead I got reply that was very unexpected... She tells me that I would need to come back in hour due to one incoming appointment. I am thinking so why can't the other two people handle my simple request. She looks at her appointment book which lists one person coming in. I walked out disappointed because I chose to spend my hard earned money in your small business in my neighborhood and you chose not to help me because you don't want to help... I am still confused why there were two other nail techs that were doing their own nails that could not help the customer that walked in your place of business. I will not return ever. We love Tina and Kim! They are very customer oriented; it's not like the big salons that rush you in and out but never say a word to you. They are fun to chat with and take great care of my husband and me. My manicures last for weeks and my husband refuses to go to anyone but Kim for pedicures. Oh my goodness - once again - seriously the best pedicure ever! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment here. They do accommodate walk-ins - but apparently the secret is out so they may be busy if you just pop in. Once you're in the chair, though, time slows down and you'll feel like the world outside has disappeared. Just had a pedicure from Tina. She was so friendly and really took great care of me. Tina and Kim are the best!! I would recommend calling and making an appointment ahead of time since it's usually only the two of them, but they do an amazing job!! I've been trying to find a regular nail place for a decent price around ASU and I've really been enjoying the nails I've been getting. They take great care of you with water bottles and whatever else you need, and they also use good products that last. They make sure they cover everything down to the last detail of cleaning the polish near the cuticle so it doesn't catch in your hair when your nails grow out, so they do care about doing a good job! They also are very understanding towards college students on a budget so if you do go see them once in a while, they might give a small discount once in a while (no promises, of course, but it's little things like adding jewels to a design or not charging extra for multiple colors, etc.)! read more

Went here last Friday around lunchtime and they took me right away. I got the deluxe spa pedicure and it was honestly the best pedi I've ever gotten! The nail tech was thorough and very nice also. I live just down the road and will be making this my regular nail spot now. read more

I was trying to get in somewhere quick on my lunch break. I was surprised to see how small the shop is, but as soon as I walked in I was treated like the only customer there. The lady whom I assume is the manager hopped up and helped me roll my pants up and get the massage chair going. The young lady who was doing my pedi came right over and asked what type of pedicure I wanted. I had old acrylic on my big toe because I broke the nail and needed them to match, so, she filed down the grown out acrylic to make sure there were no bumps or lumps. The young lady took her time which was really important to me. I was so tired and stressed and this really helped me get through the day. Finally, the massage was amazing! I hate to judge people, but she was petite and sadly I assumed the massage would be weak. I was so wrong. She manhandled my feet and I am so grateful. Lol the massage was powerful and next time I'm getting the 15min instead of 10min. I recommend you give this shop a try. I enjoyed my pedi and I saw another lady's gel mani that looked amazing. By far the best manicure and pedicure I've gotten from one of these type shops.. You know the ones with a giant sign that just says NAILS.. I walked in and only had to wait about 10 minutes. They had a good magazine selection, interesting wall art (a landscape of Phoenix in purples, yellows, and bright green) and a wonderfully cheesy karaoke video of love songs. Basically the best part of my experience was Benjamin, the technician who took care of me. He was the best! Benjamin was absolutely hilarious and incredibly meticulous (although because of his attention to detail, may take a little longer than you're used to..) I loved how he would announce he was about to massage by declaring it "happy feet time!" and that he took care to use my name when talking to me. Very sweet guy. However, when a lady did manicure and pedicure for me, she did really good service. She always smile a lot, and made you feel comfortable. Have you ever been walking around, running errands and manage to finally look down and notice that your feet are a complete massacre? Cue the horror movie music and screaming. I looked down today, and somehow my shoes from the previous day's had rubbed and chipped my toe nail polish off and I was too tired to notice this morning. I drove from ASU down scottsdale road and saw great reviews for Snow, they are a very small and charming salon who really cater to your needs. They ask your needs and address you by your name, offer you water, and genuinely are just very nice. I will be back not only because of the prices, but the people, they are outstanding! read more

I didn't have time to get my nails done before I left for vacation, so I decided to treat myself to a little mani-pedi when I got here. It's true what everyone says about these ladies being busy--I didn't call ahead and had to come back in an hour. I ended up being the last customer of the day, but I was treated like they had all the time in the world to do my nails. They were super polite and friendly. Also, I think that was the best pedicure of my life. In total I paid $35 for a mani-pedi, in one of the cleanest nail salons I've ever been to, with the best customer service I've ever received. Either Chicago is doing it all wrong, or these ladies at Snow Nails are one in a million. Sought out Snow Nails after a Yelp search. I'm so impressed! First thing I liked was the store does not smell of nail polish! I was pampered with one person doing manicure while another did pedicure. The Spa pedicure for $25 was worth every single penny. I had hot stones, gentle massage..one of the best pedicures ever! I also like that this salon does mostly appointments ONLY! Makes such a difference in my pampering experience not to have "crowds" at the nail salon. When I go back I will try out nail designs from Tina and Jennifer. read more

I usually get a basic pedicure but it feels like a VIP pedicure. The hot stone massage, the cooling cucumber gel feels amazing. They take their time and are never in a rush. It is best to set an appointment, it gets busy sometimes. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been going here for several months now and I love the service here. My top priority is cleanliness. I appreciate that they sanitize all their tools after each customer and did an amazing job cleaning my nails. The staffs are friendly and cater to your needs. This was a great little place. It was quite clean, but with only 4 chairs I could see the wait being long. Fortunately, my friend and I walked right in. I went here for my birthday, and I have 0 complaints. I was a walk in client who had not had a pedicure in YEARS! And, they could not have been more kind, gentle, and thorough. They have strong customer service mindset and take pride in their work. They took their time and the quality of work shows! They also care for their customers. Through their conversations with other clients, you could see how much they loved their work and the people! Also, I read some other reviews on here that said they are not walk-in friendly and that people were upset with that. While I was a walk-in, they did turn away one-walk in when I was there because they were booked with appointments for the rest of the night. They were honest and kind when they did turn her away. For those who think this is bad, think of it this way: they are respecting their customers' time and making sure they can keep the quality up by turning away the occasional walk in. They prioritize their appointments over walk-ins, and their appointment schedule runs like clockwork. I did not see anyone waiting for their appointment to start. It's great! So, make an appointment! Let in Snow in Scottsdale! For a year I've been searching for a nail salon I liked. I'm hard on my acrylic nails so finding techs for me is difficult! First off they squeezed me in for a fill, the staff was so friendly. While David was very quick to do my fill I can say he did an impeccable job!! I have already set my next appointment up. Randomly saw a sign on the street while driving by that advertised a discount on pedicures so my husband and I decided to stop. There were 2 guys available so they sat us right away. The shop was pretty small (only 4 manicure stations and 4 spa pedicure chairs), was located in a slow, unattractive strip mall and there were only 2 other people getting services done. So why 4 stars? Because the nail techs were SUPER friendly and accommodating. Most nail places rush through service to push you in and out as quick as possible. The guy I had took extra time to make sure my cuticles, nails, polish etc. were perfect. They also use hot lotion, hot stones and hot towels for massage. Awesome!!! read more

Owner is very friendly and personable. I've had 3 pedicures there and each was different depending on the technician. The last pedicure was by older woman and was disappointing. She is rough. She used the rough side of the pumice block to sand my entire foot, and not just the callous on side of the toe. I pulled my feet away several times. Have an ingrown toenail which got worse after the pedicure. They do use pull out disposable liners, but use the same pumice block (hopefully after disinfecting wash) over again. I would prefer to pay a bit more and have a fresh block. Not sure if I will go back after the last visit. Sorry to report this. read more

Went here yesterday because my usual place couldn't get me in for two days! This place is clean, friendly, and they were very helpful with giving me the look that I wanted. David is amazing and it felt like I was chatting with an old friend while he did my nails. Tina, the owner didn't have a client and she joined the conversation and was able to find the exact color I wanted from a picture I brought in. This is my new place! Highly recommended! My first visit & I was thrilled! I had read the Yelp reviews and did call to schedule an appointment but they were not super busy. It is a small place so I could see that they could get busy very easily. I felt every bit of stress leave my body as I sat down with my feet in the warm water and the massage chair going up and down my back. The prices are great, very in line with other nail salons.
