I walked by this place for the first time around a year ago while visiting the lake and knew I needed to stop by it at some point, due to its old school drive-in feel and the diverse menu they have. Seriously, I can get a burger, mozzarella sticks, tacos, and a pineapple shake all in one visit? I mean, I wouldn't because that's EXCESSIVE, but I thought about it. Sitting in front of the menu, right now, I'm kinda still thinking about it. Next time. Snow White looks to be family owned and operated, and the ladies behind the counter are super friendly. Combos are the way to go if you want fries and a drink, as it knocks the price down a little bit more than buying them separately. I opted for a turkey burger today, as getting something a little less fatty made me feel less guilty about getting fries. Service was quick for this style of place; just around five minutes until the food was up. To be honest, the burger and fries didn't look like much, but the turkey burger they used was flavorful and among the best that I've had, which is great, because I would've kicked myself for not getting a regular burger if I didn't enjoy it. Fries were just okay. Not bad, by any means, just not incredibly flavorful, either. To be fair, I feel like it's sorta my fault for not opting for another side like curly fries or onion rings, but there's always next time! Overall, a solid experience, though I feel like I hyped myself up on the spot after waiting an entire year to make it over this way. I'm going to go all in on my next visit and enjoy some greasy, fried food, the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Stay tuned for the update. read more

This place has been around forever. If you want a good old fashion greasy spoon dinner this is the place you need to go. Pretty much everything is artery clogging but it's totally worth it because it's so good! On top of that the employees there are awesome. My son left his wallet there and three days later he realized it might be there and called. They were so decent and honest that they kept his wallet and returned it to him. No money missing no card swiped. Wow! Good honest people in this day and age. Besides the excellent food that they serve they are just good people.They have my business and will for as long as their doors are open! read more

I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order and there were only 3 orders in front of me. I watched customers wait to order for over 20 minutes. I would have walked away. There has been, and there will always be, a dining establishment at this location since I can't remember. Every time I came back to Lodi to visit my parents and relatives, I would pass by this place and check it out. Back when I was a teen, this restaurant was known as Lodi Lake Drive-In and was a sit-down diner with humongous windows. It has transformed itself into a drive-in with outside seating ONLY. The menu way back when was Denny's-like; SnoWhite Drive-In is strictly Hamburger's and more. The owners of Lodi Lake Drive-In were recent immigrants to the United States... and that is an apt description for the present owners. Today, I had been digging holes in my backyard for my fence and lifting and carrying dirty, heavy objects... I was not presentable at a sit-down restaurant.... What the heck... might as well drop by and try SnoWhite Drive-In. The specialty here is Hamburgers... strictly Hamburgers... twelve varieties in fact. The prices range from $2.99 to $5.15, in a basket the prices range from $4.75-$6.99. The Hamburgers will take you back twenty years or more.... when limp and oily described the Fries. Big and messy is an adequate description for the Hamburgers! If you don't consume them in a hurry... the bread just starts falling apart... there goes the thousand island spread and the pickles all over your lap! This is the ONLY eating establishment within a mile of Lodi Lake... so it is VERY, VERY popular on Holidays... such as the 4th of July. The owner was lamenting the fact that none of his kids wanted to help him and his wife run the operation. I guess my son is just crazy enough to tolerate long hours and low pay! I recounted my experiences with the owner my experiences with his culture and told him Kebabs were fantastically popular throughout Europe and suggested to him to trim the Hamburger selection down to a half-dozen and replace them with a Kebab menu. He probably could make more money with Kebabs and would take a lot less effort. Try out SnoWhite for a time-warp back to the '60s! Don't forget... This is a burger joint. It's legit. Sno-Whites had been around since the 50's and it shows. Their facility is ancient and looks run down. The paint is faded and cracking. The walls have windows that were made long ago, but still function. If you are seeking new and trendy, this isn't it. However if you are looking for a good old fashioned burger and milkshake then this is the place. The menu doesn't have a huge selection. It probably hasn't changed significantly in the last 50 years. That's cool. They have a nice outdoor patio to eat in, but really who is? Either take out to eat at home or take it across the street to Lodi Lake. One thing that is nice is that their burgers are made with range feed non hormone treated beef. Just like the ones I like to use for grilling back home. Their food may be full of cholesterol, but dang it tastes good. Sometimes I am in he mood for a good tasty burger and this is a great place to get one. read more

I went to get a 16 oz mint chocolate chip milkshake. The 16oz shake only costs $3.69. After they charged me, I realized they had charged me $5.25. It was supposed to be $4.13 or so. There was a 50cent charge for using the debit card which is totally understandable but it wasn't until I asked them why they charged more. Apparently there's a 70cent charge because my milkshake was two flavors (mint AND chocolate). The menu DOES NOT say that at all and they didn't really explain that to me before buying the shake. They really need to make a sign on the menu that lets the customers know of the 70cent charge for a "two" flavor milkshake. read more

First time visiting here this past Saturday. I myself, only had the chocolate dipped cone. I haven't had one of these in years! So nostalgic for me. There was nothing super great about this-just your regular ice cream with chocolate. Two of my kids had their chicken nuggets and fries which they gobbled I'll do they must've been good and my other kid had a cheeseburger which she said was delicious as well! The staff here was super friendly!! One of the ladies even noticed my toddler had dropped her ice cream under the table and promptly came out to clean it up for us. I stopped by last night to get a burger. Growing up in Stockton, I used to go to the Sno-White there all the time. The parking lot was empty and there were no customers with about 4 people inside. I approached the window where someone was waiting but taking to someone else inside. I said "Hello" twice trying to get their attention with no success. I waited just in case it was an important conversation. About 6 minutes later 2 people had made eye contact with me and didn't acknowledge me. I finally just left. It said 'Super Burger' on the building but turned out to be Super disappointing. After a nice day at the lake, my family and I stopped in, as it looked like a great location and boasted "fresh". Couldn't be further from the truth... although the produce was fresh, the meat of the burger itself looked like the frozen patties that you get from the bulk boxes at Walmart. The flavor of the meat was nonexistent. I think they try to make up for it with all of the fresh produce, but the meat itself was disgusting. The cheese was NOT real cheese (you know the kind that lights on fire before it melts?... yep). And the root beer had a funky aftertaste that made us question if the water they used to mix it came from the lake. The fries, however, were really yummy! Overall, SUPER disappointed. Heard great things about the milk shakes and planned a day drive from out of the area to come finally get a milk shake. As soon as we pulled into empty parking lot we were stopped and asked by parking vendors to leave because they are charging $30 for parking, I guest for the Lodi Lake Park on 4th of July. I let them know we aren't here to park long term we are customers coming to buy a milkshake and leaving after. They still said no you cannot park here unless you pay $30 or park on the street. I said even though we're customers for the Snowhite Drive In? They said we couldn't even park for a few minutes. We came from out of town this was ridiculous for customers and unacceptable. I can understand for random cars trying to park but if we came just to order milkshake and food and leave they should have let us park. We ended going to their competitor Froster Freeze down the street instead. This company lost our business and possible business in the future. I wrote this review encase the owners weren't aware, these parking vendors are turning all your customers away. Went back to try their tacos today. It looked nothing like the pictures other users have posted. It didn't taste that good either. My friend ordered a $2 burrito, which was basically one of those 12 pack frozen burritos you buy at a grocery store. He was disappointed with it. We definitely won't be ordering any of these again. She tells me "don't matter I didn't touching your food". Then I told her yeah but you're going to touch my credit card and you just grab my ticket order and placed it on the shelf which is next to the cook who will be making my food. I'm giving a low rating for customer service. There were marks on the ground for social distancing but not a clear indication of where the line should start. A couple in front of us ordered and the lady told us to wait in line and shut the window. We waited and waited then a man opened the door and told us to get in line even though we were clearly next in line. He then asked if the order he called was mine and I said I haven't ordered yet and he again gruffly told me to get back in line. I was so confused. We were all standing a distance from each other. We waited some more and he finally opened the window and said okay. What do you want? I began my order and he never made eye contact or smiled. He wrote down my order and looked so incredibly annoyed. I was confused because so many restaurants are suffering because of the shelter in place and these people clearly don't seem to care if they lose customers or not. If they want a line to start somewhere place a sign. And use a mask and gloves when handing out food. For crying out loud! So much for supporting local. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

Snowhite now serves a lot of RUDENESS. came one Saturday morning with the Grands after walking the nature trail to get ice cream cones. She rudely says Machine is broken come back in 30 minutes. Seemed odd. I didn't go back. Following weekend we return. Again more rudeness and said they don't open until 10:10? WTH? I wait. Go back up to order but she continued to handle hamburger meat with her bare hands and making eye contact with me. 10:15 she takes the order and serves sloppy cones. Yelled at me that everyone knows they open at 10:30 on sat/sun. No sign says 10:10 or 10:30. Never. Never again read more

I love love love this place! There are some visits that may take longer than others but knowing they cook everything as it is ordered makes it worth the while it's not fast food quality it's real food. Super Burger was the most trashiest burger i've ever tasted. The meat had no flavor it tasted like the burger meat was boiled it didn't have no char grill color to it and was dry as hec. And to top it off they gave me white cheese instead of American cheese, gross. The only thing that had flavor was the bacon. I dont see how this place is 4.5 stars. For $14 a burger basket they better come with some better meat quality then this. It was like a clay brick pattie. Never again.
