I'm so glad this place is open! I love their pizza and drinks. I've been here a few times and love it! The staff is friendly and helpful. They always have pizza ready to go. And, they have a good variety of rolls, calzones, pizzas, and more! I love their bar and seating area. The indoor seating area is surrounded by windows and is very scenic. They also have an outdoor patio that is very nice as well. I look forward to stopping back in and trying more of their food options.

I've been eyeing City Pizzeria since they opened in Downtown White Plains a few months ago. I'm wary of pizza (and Italian food in general) in Westchester, but that usually doesn't stop me from trying it out so I could get an accurate assessment (and possibly find something good). Anyway, I was in the mood for pizza and thought this was a good opportunity to check this place out, so off I went. The space that CP resides in has been a few things since I've lived in White Plains - I think it was an Asian spot, then turned into a seafood restaurant, and now pizza. I've actually never been to any of their predecessors so this was truly a new experience. I opted for takeout - they use a third party app for ordering and after a short while my order was ready. I decided to pick up in lieu of delivery so I got a sense of the interior - it's smaller than I imagined with nothing really outstanding in terms of decor. It looks like they tried a little to make it charming but it didn't come through IMO. So what did I get? While they offer full pies, I got some slices and an order of meatballs in order to get a good sample of what they offered. I decided on their margherita, white, and hot honey pepperoni slides. The fundamental properties of the slices were pretty good - the crust was thin and the cheese-sauce-topping ratio was correct. They were not the most flavorful slices in my opinion, but comparing to other pizza spots I've been to in Westchester I have no complaints. The only thing that made me scratch my head scratch was that they put broccoli on their white slice; when I placed the order it did not indicate that topping. Also FWIW the hot honey slice wasn't hot at all. The meatballs were pretty good - good consistency and the sauce was better than I expected. Service was good, my food was ready by their promised time and the staff was friendly. Overall, this doesn't compare to NYC slices but I thought City Pizzeria put out a solid offering regardless. I wouldn't be against returning next time I'm in the mood for pizza.

We came across Frankie & Anthony's City Pizzeria while staying in White Plains and heading to Target. We decided to stop in and try it--and I'm so glad we did! We ordered a half ham, half pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious. The thin crust had a great crunch and was full of flavor--exactly what you want in a New York-style slice. The garlic knots, however, were a letdown--they were burnt and not tasty at all. Definitely something that could be improved. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a cozy vibe. Service was okay--we had to flag someone down even though it wasn't busy, but they were friendly once they came over. Overall, it's a solid spot for pizza.

I don't live in NY, but I've concluded that there's just something special about hanging out at a New York pizzeria. City Pizzeria hits that vibe perfectly. I ordered a margherita slice and an Arturo's Special slice, and both were delicious. Sad that I won't be able to come back here regularly, because I want to try everything. Actually, I can't promise that I'm not going to grab a dessert after I post this review...

Had the fried calamari and hot honey pepperoni pizza. Both were great. Calamari was seasoned well - salt and garlic - just right. Pizza was really great. Crust was thin and crispy. Considering the honey and oil from the pepperoni, it stayed crispy and didn't flop when a slice is folded. (The pizza wasn't too oily, just mentioning that typically pepperoni is oily and soaks the crust)

The best Veal Parmesan in the state.... PIZZA is 9 out of 10 Las Vegas style interior, you have to see it to believe it! very unique, comfortable and OUTSTANDING garden for outdoor dining under the stars. Definitely a hidden gem in White Plains. strongly suggest to check out their Instagram. citypizzeriawp

Don't know how their pizza is ... it's probably good. This ain't about the food but more how their business is ran. I ordered a pie and pizza roll for me and my son and there was a discount that the restaurant was promoting on door dash it took about 3 dollars off lol. I then go back to check on my order and it was canceled. I call to find out why and was told "we don't give discounts"... but yet on door dash they are promoting it. They must be new here cuz it's a million good pizza shops in the area... 3 bucks you cancel my order lol... fuck em. Shit look burnt anyway lol

    Promo during football season...must try.

First of all, I really couldn't decide what I wanted with all the beautiful looking pizzas in the display case. I decided on the Triple Grandma, even though I'm not a big fan of Pesto sauce. The pie is a traditional Grandma with three sauces: Traditional Pizza Sauce, Vodka Sauce, and Pesto. The sauce is arranged beautifully in diagonal stripes, which adds to the appetizing aroma. The beautiful aroma was wafting through the car as I drove home, only making me more hungry. Hot home, opened the box to reveal this thing of beauty. Now, if it only tastes as good as it looks... Wow! Absolutely fantastic! I asked the owner to make it well done and the undercarriage was just the way I like it. Crunchy, the perfect chewiness, the dough is made dense enough to hold up to the wet and heavy topping. Perfectly constructed Grandma pie . I had a nice conversation with the owner. Very cool guy. I will be going back to try all the other pies (and there are many). You can probably eat there every day and not have the same thing for a month. My next selection will be one of the Detroit style pies. They looked delicious. Finally, a great pizzeria in Westchester. We've been deprived of a top quality version of this popular "American" staple for far too long. There are a few that straddle the line between good and great in these parts, but in my opinion, none I have tried have made it over the line until today. Go check out Pizza Fenice. You won't be disappointed.

If you've read any of my reviews you already know that one of the greatest sleeper food battles in the country is Grigg Street vs Luca's in Greenwich. The most underrated Cheeseteak battle in the world, right here under your nostrils. And you don't even know about it. Do yourself a favor, and educate yourself. I've gone back and forth. Most the time I have Grigg Street a .1 grade higher GASP. But other times I think they are even. I think I need more trials. Oh No! I must go again! - This is me being playful. Imagine the cruelty that the love(s) of my life most go through. Duller than a dump truck that's not street safe. - Anyways. Let me orchestrate a symphony for ya. Beautiful day. Little chilly actually if you ask me. Throw on a way too deeply opened quarter zip - no Nike tech - so that you can get a glimpse of a chain grazing the corner of my pectoral "muscle". I drive my motor vehicle across state lines to end up in the highfalutin Greenwich. Gorgeousness all over the place, my eyes hurt from gazing through exteriors and into souls. Out of place? No. I looked rather handsome this day, or said the chimpanzee that's befriended my pet mule Paco. But was I a foreigner? At the moment, yes. Yet not for long. So all delulu, I stumbled into a side block down a flight of stairs and into a straight up dungeon with a dragon spitting absolute fire in many forms at the open-faced visible ovens. I walked up to the counter and attempted to rizz up the cashier. She did a good job at resisting my aura. Marginally completely ignored me but that negative energy has no impact on a Sigma such as myself. Couldn't even tell if she had the gyatt or if she were mid, but it doesn't matter. Whatever. I'm not mad. That's not even what I was here for. I was here for a slice and a Cheeseteak. Whatever. I ghosted her first. Just PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG! Anyways. Behind the counter the chef runs a tight ship. Would call him a pirate, first word that came to mind. He crashed out about five times and mogged roughly five unassuming customers and I absolutely loved it. That's how cocky pizza makers should be. No skibidi. No 6-7. All action, no BS. LET HIM COOK. You can only order in 15 min increments on the website. This, again, is a tight ship. So I ordered the cheesesteak and then added a slice to my purchase when I got there. Genius, I know. Why don't you tell huzz behind the counter who thinks that because she ate that she don't have to lock into to the gracefully aging unc who graced her presence. No glaze ofc. ANYWAYS. The cheesesteak is simply one of the best in the world. Straight chungus... this thing is structurally sound at an absurd diameter and circumference. Theres really not an argument to its greatness. The bread is filthy good. The cheese/sauce has some type of extra tang/spice that raises it another level. The meat is just wonderful. I mean this thing is so delicious that it's 9:30AM and I'm contemplating ordering one right now. JUST LOOK AT IT. And the pizza? Mid 8s. That's a nice score. Sourdough crust that dominates a bit because of its charred taste and texture. A good sauce almost wish there were more. Really aromatic, really fresh cheese. Super super deceptively light I could've polished a pie and I probably will at some point. Really liked it, need to try more slices. This place, across all metrics, passed the vibe check. Hits all the KPIs. Love the downstairs dark vibe. And call me Frankenstein but they hit the nail on the head with their two specialties: Pizza and Cheesesteak. Who doesn't love that combo? I know they have more to offer. I know I'll try those offerings. And you should too. Like. Comment. Subscribe. LB out.
