Finally made it to Frankie & Anthony's during a wing walk and it was a good vibe. The place feels like a classic pizza joint but with a cool sports bar energy (perfect for catching a game). I specifically came to try the Honey BBQ and Mango Habanero wings. The Honey BBQ had that perfect sweet to tangy ratio, and the Mango Habanero actually had a decent kick without being overwhelming. Definitely worth ordering if you're looking for something other than just a slice! Great spot for a chill dinner or late night bite. I'm so glad this place is open! I love their pizza and drinks. I've been here a few times and love it! The staff is friendly and helpful. They always have pizza ready to go. And, they have a good variety of rolls, calzones, pizzas, and more! I love their bar and seating area. The indoor seating area is surrounded by windows and is very scenic. I've been eyeing City Pizzeria since they opened in Downtown White Plains a few months ago. I'm wary of pizza (and Italian food in general) in Westchester, but that usually doesn't stop me from trying it out so I could get an accurate assessment (and possibly find something good). Anyway, I was in the mood for pizza and thought this was a good opportunity to check this place out, so off I went. The space that CP resides in has been a few things since I've lived in White Plains - I think it was an Asian spot, then turned into a seafood restaurant, and now pizza. I've actually never been to any of their predecessors so this was truly a new experience. I opted for takeout - they use a third party app for ordering and after a short while my order was ready. I decided to pick up in lieu of delivery so I got a sense of the interior - it's smaller than I imagined with nothing really outstanding in terms of decor. It looks like they tried a little to make it charming but it didn't come through IMO. So what did I get? While they offer full pies, I got some slices and an order of meatballs in order to get a good sample of what they offered. I decided on their margherita, white, and hot honey pepperoni slides. The fundamental properties of the slices were pretty good - the crust was thin and the cheese-sauce-topping ratio was correct. They were not the most flavorful slices in my opinion, but comparing to other pizza spots I've been to in Westchester I have no complaints. The only thing that made me scratch my head scratch was that they put broccoli on their white slice; when I placed the order it did not indicate that topping. Also FWIW the hot honey slice wasn't hot at all. The meatballs were pretty good - good consistency and the sauce was better than I expected. Service was good, my food was ready by their promised time and the staff was friendly. Overall, this doesn't compare to NYC slices but I thought City Pizzeria put out a solid offering regardless. I wouldn't be against returning next time I'm in the mood for pizza. read more

We came across Frankie & Anthony's City Pizzeria while staying in White Plains and heading to Target. We decided to stop in and try it--and I'm so glad we did! We ordered a half ham, half pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious. The thin crust had a great crunch and was full of flavor--exactly what you want in a New York-style slice. The garlic knots, however, were a letdown--they were burnt and not tasty at all. Definitely something that could be improved. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a cozy vibe. Had the fried calamari and hot honey pepperoni pizza. Both were great. Calamari was seasoned well - salt and garlic - just right. Pizza was really great. Crust was thin and crispy. Considering the honey and oil from the pepperoni, it stayed crispy and didn't flop when a slice is folded. Unbelievable perfomance at city pizzeria yet again, sausage and peppers hero was just insane to say the least. Sad Holly couldn't make it, grace was a great server and my New York friend drank my water, flashback to my previous review for those who have been following along. We were a group of six dining. Nowhere on the menu or in the restaurant they disclosed that there was a 25% service charge for "larger groups". They also did not disclose at any time a cash discount vs credit card surcharge. They just brought the bill and said the computer added the fees. Just be warned and check you bill carefully. Don't know how their pizza is ... it's probably good. This ain't about the food but more how their business is ran. I ordered a pie and pizza roll for me and my son and there was a discount that the restaurant was promoting on door dash it took about 3 dollars off lol. I then go back to check on my order and it was canceled. I call to find out why and was told "we don't give discounts"... but yet on door dash they are promoting it. Had the 18" chicken bacon ranch pie. Awesome. Light thin crust with plenty of bacon and chicken atop. The staff is super friendly and very considerate of the guests desires. During a tech stop the team and I stopped by for some pizza based on Yelp's recommendation. Once again, y'all did not disappoint! The salads were entree sized and very fresh. The 12in pizzas were big enough to provide leftovers with a perfectly oven baked hand-tossed trust with equal parts crunch and chew. I opted for the buffalo chicken pizza and it was firing on all cylinders! Tender chicken chunks, perfect heat from the red hot with just enough blue cheese to be complimentary yet not distracting on the palette. We went on Friday 4-11-25. The food was average. The waiter was good. We were a group of six and when the bill came they added a 25% service fee. This was not disclosed anywhere on the menu and it was a hassle to have it removed. 25% is an extremely high service fee and if a consumer wants to leave that much it should be my choice. We had it removed and still left a tip but found this experience off putting. I'm really not sure we will be back. read more

Went there yesterday to celebrate by son's 11th birthday. It was awesome!! The service was great, we got a table in the main area. We had the pizza, penne vodka, pin wheels, buffalo chicken roll, garlic knots, and their famous meatballs - a real variety of what was on the menu - and all was excellent. One of the owners, AJ, came over to welcome us and make sure everything was going well. That personal touch is rarely found these days. Our server Carlos was super nice, patient with all the kids, and did a great job. We finished it off with singing happy birthday and the home made tiramisu that is 100% worth getting. First, the waitress upsell us on the pizza. We wanted a slide or s have a 12" and she said 12" is just personal. It came out with 8 slides there. We could have sharing one, ending we took one with us. The meat lover was not what I expected. The pe peperoni was super sweat. Everything took a long time. It took them a while to bring the pizza and took a long time for her to box our pizza or bring us the check. Then you looked over the counter. She was ta lking to the chef or walking around. She ended up bring the check after another 5 minutes but the pizza was still box... -ing.... not there yet ... lol... Woah guys...this place is absolutely flavorful! We stay at the Camria Hotel a lot for work and dear God I am thankful to have room service in restaurant form! I believe they're quite new but they have it together from the sweetheart who took my order to the doll that delivered it! Vodka pizza; vodka sauce on pizza like what? Heaven. Not a great experience at the new City Pizzeria in White Plains. Unfortunately for them the pizzeria is a bit tricky to find as it is on a second floor entrance above Chipotle and next to Planet Fitness. I ordered two slices to go, One Margarita and one "Arturo Special". The Staff was careless and inattentive, they gave me a pile of dirty napkins which I left there and the pizza was luke-warm. The Margarita slice was lacking flavor but the Arturo slice had good components. Sad to see because the vibe in the restaurant looks great, well built and designed. We just had dinner here tonight. Renzo (I think that's his name) was attentive, the pizza was delicious, and the ambiance was what we needed (great music but not too loud to hear each other). Second time here and did not disappoint...again. Delicious thin crust pizza. We were a party of about 12 . We enjoyed the perfectly thin crust pies. Delicious Margherita , Pepperoni and Meat Lovers. They also have the best fried calamari , non greasy, fresh and non chewy, perfect light batter . Friendly and lovely service .
