Salmon (sorry, it was too good to not dig in right away)
Matt C.

We went to SoHo Wine Bar on a Wednesday around 6:30pm. We were greeted right away and sat right away. The restaurant was very quiet and had some really wonderful vibes! Really loved the atmosphere! It was very clean and well-kept. Our server came over very promptly to get us started with some drinks. She offered some suggestions on martinis, which we took her up on and were NOT disappointing at all! Started off on with mozarella di burrata, which was VERY refreshing and a great starter. We switched to a bottle of Melbac, which was reasonably priced and delicious as well. The server, as well as the owner, continued to make sure that our glasses were topped up, which was such great customer service! I had the spicy rigatoni & meatballs, and my wife had the salmon special. We shared a side of roasted brussels sprouts. The rigatoni had a great spice to it and was seasoned very well. The meatballs were extremely tender and delicious! The salmon was also seasoned and cooked to perfection. We finished the meal with a pistachio ricotta cake, which was so light and airy, VERY good! The staff were so attentive. I continued to see our server peek in and check on us, but didn't always interrupt, which I found to be very refreshing. I always think it's important to be attentive to your guests, but not to be intrusive. She could tell when we needed something and when we were just fine. AMAZING service! She was also wonderful at explaining the menu and offering some great suggestions! I noticed that as guests left their tables, they would replace the entire linens and everything promptly, which I have not seen in other restaurants. We finished our evening with a nice conversation with the owner. We told him that we were there for our anniversary, and he said we should have told him, but we wanted to experience the restaurant without them knowing it was our anniversary. Again, you wouldn't have known they didn't know, as it was an amazing experience! This is a wonderful restaurant and I HIGHLY recommend you stopping in and getting some great food!

We had the best time tonight. The food was great the service was amazing. The Pear martini was 5 stars and everyone was so accommodating. Mentor was an absolute delight. He was attentive and his recommendations were spot on. First time here and I'll be back! Thank you!!

What a hidden Gem!!! From the moment we stepped foot inside this place was nothing short of INCREDIBLE! The ambiance, the service, THE FOOD was absolutely amazing! We will w/o a doubt be returning customers & probably regulars! So if yall haven't tried out this joint, I highly recommend doing so! We ordered several dirty gin martinis (excellent) WITH THE BLUE CHEESE , the Hotsy Totsy Shrimp, Beet salad, and Fungi Pizza... everything smelled incredible, so I didn't take the time to take pictures (sorry for stuffing my face) of the 1st items, but trust me, they were beautifully presented & very tasty!!!

Vodka Pizza - worst pizza I've ever had

Definitely the worst pizza I've ever had. Very disappointed to have tried SoHo tonight - slow service and terrible pizza that was pretty much just all cheese as you can see in the photo. The cheese pizza my family had was no better. Avoid SoHo!

This was my first time at SoHo and well I'm sold and our waiter Jacob was top tier. The spicy rigatoni was amazing but with Jacob it was even better.

Great makeover from the previous place! It feels warm and intimate without seeming pretentious. I was in jeans and service was friendly and FAST! For those saying it's a bit pricey, it's on par with similar places. It's higher than dive bar fried foods of course, but not 5 star prices. I tried the tuna tower ($22) and beet salad ($14). Lots of variety on the menu! I didn't take pics, but stole one from a facebook post of the beet salad. Somebody else already has pics of the tuna tower on here, though it was served slightly different to me. The beet salad was Greek yogurt based, which is in the description, but I guess I was still expecting it to have a base of greens like a typical salad. It did not, but it was amazing! The slight sweetness and acid of the orange slices were a great balance with the beets. The crunchy pistachios were a nice touch. Honestly, one of the best balances of flavors and textures I've had in a while! The tuna tower was good, but could use a couple of minor changes to be great. I like that it had no rice. They might want to state that clearly for those limiting carbs and fillers, so they're encouraged to order. The tuna, mango, and avocado seemed fresh, but it was hard to tell, as the sauce kinda drowned them out. It was served with 4 light, crispy chips. On the chips, the mix was very tasty! It would be better with like 8-10 chips on the plate...and still lighten up on the sauce a bit. Overall, I liked it and will be back! I'm glad to have another nicer place to eat in Keller that can make decent craft cocktails!

I had the Spicy Rigatoni with chicken as recommended by Jacob, and it was outrageously good! Thank you for a great birthday dinner, we'll definitely be back!

Marsala

Absolutely delicious. I had the linguini and clams in white wine sauce, a cocktail called paper plane, my son had the crab from the raw bar and we had a chicken Marsala. We can't wait to go back. Beautiful ambiance

We had a reservation, which I'd definitely recommend because it gets busy especially on a Friday and parking is limited. Once we were seated, the server gave us a nice rundown of the menu. We started with the hand rolls, the Masu Tartare and Toro Tartare and both were delicious. I personally loved the Masu more, but you really can't go wrong with either. We also ordered calamari, which arrived a bit later. It was okay, nothing spectacular, not as crispy as I hoped but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. For sushi, I had the Spicy Atlantic Salmon and the Kani Koi. I absolutely loved the Spicy Atlantic Salmon...it was definitely a favorite but my fiancé preferred the Kanikoi, so everyone wins. We also tried the Kamasu - Barracuda, which was just as delicious. Overall, everything was perfect, and I can't wait to come back to try more hand rolls and a few other dishes.

I was searching for açaí bowls in the area, & Hush popped up…read more.. Well they used to serve them, but no one was ordering them from what I heard. Makes sense, since it's a fancy/upscale sushi place I didn't want to leave upon finding that out, so I scanned the menu. Food- I ordered the Philly roll, & spicy salmon rolls. I base sushi restaurants off of these 1 simple rolls. It was good, but for the price... Prices- very high. The simple rolls were much higher than my normal sushi spot (almost 50% higher), & the rest of the menu was well over $20+ & up! I'm way too frugal to be a sushi connoisseur Service- it was great. Eric did a great job, very friendly, & kept my water filled up. The host was very friendly as well (forgot his name, had a cast on his hand), & as well as the woman who told me they no longer served the açaí bowls Environment- very upscale. Definitely would be a hopping place to go in the evenings. It's a dark restaurant, so it's got great ambience, but I could see it being a loud place as well for something that is as fancy as it is. I will go back when I'm in the mood for sushi (which is rare), & will update this review once I try out a different roll or entree

Service: 1/5 We were seated pretty close to our reservation time, so things started off well...until our server showed up. Our waitress had a noticeably unwelcoming attitude. We had a few questions about the menu, but her answers were vague, and she literally walked away while responding. If you hate your job that much, why are you even here? Food: 3/5 The salad was overly drenched in dressing. The pizza was mid at best. The heart shaped pizza definitely wasn't worth the extra cost...but hey, anything for a photo right? No real wow factor. The drinks, though, were solid...especially the espresso martini tower! Ambiance: 4/5 Very girly and cute...perfect for Valentine's vibes. Just wish there were more photo ops. Overall... mehhhh. I'd probably only come back for the drinks, and that's about it.

I've tried the spinach dip, Leela's Favorite Board, and half a cheese pizza, and they were all great. The spinach dip was warm and flavorful, the cheese pizza was thin and crunchy, and the board had a great selection of cheese, meat, fruit, and veggies. I especially enjoyed the inside of the watermelon rind. I haven't tried the espresso flight yet, but it's definitely something I'd go for next time. The cocktails are refreshing and really good.

The music selection and volume were equally well done, balanced in a way that felt welcoming to every generation. At one point, I almost felt like I had stepped into the bar scene from *The Shining*, not in a creepy sense, but in that nostalgic, timeless atmosphere kind of way. The Old Fashioned was prepared exactly right, especially with my request for lighter bitters since I do not enjoy it overly sweet. Many places miss that balance, but they nailed it here. The charcuterie board was easily one of the best I have had. The mozzarella and white cheddar were perfectly portioned, fresh, and rich. The green apple slices tasted incredibly fresh, like they had just been picked from the orchards of Apple Hill in California. The honeycomb was a first for me on a board and made the experience especially memorable. The artwork throughout the space also adds a unique character that I always appreciate in a restaurant. The prosciutto was a little tough but still had good flavor, while the Calabrese was spot on. Service was professional and attentive, with frequent check-ins throughout the evening. My only recommendation would be for servers to introduce themselves, as that small touch makes the experience feel more personal and welcoming rather than simply transactional.
