This place was great. I'd definitely come back. The sushi was fresh and well presented. The server was attentive.

Best sushi in Tampa!! Very friendly staff, amazing sushi (fresh & unique), as well as a great ambiance. Place is super clean. I love all the rolls we ordered (I forget the names) but every time I come here it's always 10/10! Highly recommend.

While coming to this restaurant on a Sunday was probably not the best idea without a reservation- my salad came out after my soup was served - and already eaten - but I understand busy Sunday - Sunday rolls and football wasn't my best idea - but thanks again

First time trying this place was through DoorDash for lunch at work so I cannot speak to the ambiance/Service of the restaurant but the food was yummy! I especially loved the katsu chicken steamed bun but I wish it came with more than just one. The Crab Rangoon and salmon/cream cheese sushi were not life changing or anything but they were both pretty good! I would visit the restaurant to try more menu items after tasting these 3 items

Love this place! We did takeout for a girls night and it's affordable, always delicious and so easy! They have parking spots in the back and the staff comes to your car to bring out your order and it took less than 5 minutes! Whether you're dining in or taking out here it's always a hit and a staple we go to a ton!

This is a great sushi spot! It is located close to my office in Westshore. They have a great lunch special that includes a soup/salad and two rolls. The rolls are a great portion size and so delicious! Service was friendly and attentive, and we were in and out in no time. The inside is small, and parking is a challenge, but its cozy and beautiful inside.

This place was fantastic! It was so cute inside they had candle lighting at every table and the service was so quick I couldn't believe it. The food was amazing I'll definitely be going back!

We made NYE reservations for 7pm and what a great call that was! The parking lot is strangely configured where you spin around the building to get comp valet if you can't find a spot. Keep in mind the parking lot is about 15-20 spots at most. We got a table for 2 right away and dug right in as we were starving. We started off with some Seaweed Salad then ordered the Blazian, Ring of Fire, Yellowjacket Roll, Red Dragon, a few pieces of Unagi plus my wife ordered the Otoro an Tokoro (sp?). Now the specialty rolls were amazing and we have nothing bad to say about it as they were fresh and amazing, blazing with taste! My Unagi was great and there was some miscommunication between the Otoro and Tokoro so a manager comped one of those to my wife. It was not the servers fault at all! The service was amazing, the place was cool but that parking lot! Ugh. We hope they can deliver to Largo!

Not that this place needs another 5 star review but if you have not tried this place you need to. Everything had been excellent. We have been here 1/2 dozen times and it never disappoints. Try the wagyu potstickers, the Yellowjacket and a current special midnight smoke!

Fantastic sushi. Very fun and cute interior - I enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar. Happy hour deals til 7. Hotling bling rill was phenomenal, definitely my favorite. Devoured the Kat roll and also the ring of fire. Sushi was super fresh and came out quick. Love that they have a full bar too. Will definitely be stopping in for quick date nights at the bar. Solid sushi all around

Best quality and best price!! Happy hour meant $1 off rolls so we could eat our hearts out for $5.75 an order! Service was quick and it was the perfect spot for a casual night out! Will definitely be coming back, especially for this deal.

Wonderful Birthday dinner for my sister. Every order of sushi was fabulous and we tried several! We highly recommend the Salmon Zest and Spicy Horizon! If you want a truly wonderful experience try a few different rolls. They won't disappoint. And the staff is amazing!!! Great job!

The presentation was nice but I felt like the sushi wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked. I wasn't too blown away. It was ok.

    What is the parking situation?

Free valet (with receipt from your meal), otherwise the parking is VERY limited. I've been there a few times and I've never been able to park on my own without using the valet.

Didn't need all the micro greens for garnish on top but this could be overlooked because taste and flavor was amazing. The tuna tartare was super tasty as well and I would definitely order this again same comment for micro greens on this dish - didn't need this and found myself moving it off the dishes to actually enjoy the item. The two not so favorite dishes for me were the fried rice topped with fried chicken. While chicken was very tasty the rice was extremely basic. Could have used eggs or other ingredients to elevate this dish. Also the Volcano roll was extremely disappointing. Normally the volcano topping is cooked or (torched) and this topping was cold and very unappetizing. Would not recommend this roll. Overall this place is a hit or miss. Service for our large party wasn't bad and everything came out pretty quickly!

Food is terrible - they even forgot the egg as a part of my ramen and brought me a frozen egg when I mentioned the missing item which was disgusting. Octopus is so tough and chewy. Terribly cooked from frozen. Mango sticky rice is absolutely horrendous. Nothing like what you expect. Temperature is terrible - they don't use A/C so it's incredibly hot and humid in restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs.

We also love Hyde Park and it's just so nice to walk around that area before or after your meal. We started off with cocktails -- I went with the pomelo (nikka coffey gin, aperol, grapefruit, szechuan peppercorn) and she got the shinshun (sparkling sake, yuzu extract, & honey). We both really enjoyed our drinks. For appetizers, we shared the wagyu gyoza and I also got a couple pieces of nigiri -- Hokkaido Hotate (scallop) and the otoro (fatty tuna belly). Yum! We both ordered sushi rolls (maki) for our mains. I got the Ro signature roll which has spicy tuna, avocado, and hamachi. My sis got the classic tempura shrimp roll topped with crispy potato chips which was a nice twist. We definitely got our sushi fix! The end of every meal comes with a complimentary sweet surprise and I'm so glad we saved just enough room for dessert. They make their own ice cream in-house and have fun rotating flavor combinations. I can't remember the exact flavor we had, but it had a passion fruit ganache on top with some crumble topping and it was phenomenal! Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. That alone is worth going back for.

**Sunda -- Asian Fusion (2nd visit)**…read more Went back to Sunda specifically for their limited-time Caviar Sunday, and it did not disappoint -- but let's start with the food that came before it. We opened with the **tiger shrimp tempura** -- candied walnuts and a creamy honey aioli. Smaller than I expected, roughly half-dollar sized, but tender, sweet, and generous in portion. The candied walnuts and honey aioli combo leaned sweeter than a classic honey walnut shrimp, with a little bang bang shrimp energy minus the spice. Trying to pace ourselves for dessert, we kept the rest light: the signature crispy rice (Wagyu and spicy tuna versions, split two apiece), The Great White (escolar), and the lemongrass beef lollipops. The Great White was well-balanced and delicious. The lemongrass beef -- sliced NY strip wrapped around a lemongrass stalk with ginger soy -- was solid but not a standout; the lemongrass flavor was subtle and the chili barely registered. Fair warning: it comes out well past medium-rare since it's wrapped and cooked that way, and the server didn't ask for a temperature preference. Good, but not something I'd reorder. The crispy rice was tasty but not a personal favorite -- the Wagyu and spicy tuna toppings themselves were great, just not sold on the crispy rice base. The standout of the savory round was the lobster Wagyu roll -- lobster and Wagyu tataki with a duck pâté aioli, sort of a surf-and-turf sushi roll. Pricier than the other rolls, but the combination justified it. Definitely ordering that again. **Now, the main event: Caviar Sunday.** Our server mentioned this particular caviar brand is a favorite of a certain pop star's, which was a fun detail. The tower itself was a showpiece -- diced and quartered dragon fruit, lychee, blueberries, crispy rice balls (first time trying those, loved them), plus passionfruit and ube sauces on the side. It came with turon (Filipino plantain egg rolls) and vanilla ice cream, essentially a build-your-own sundae kit with caviar mixed in. Caviar with ice cream sounded strange going in, but the salt-sweet balance worked. Genuinely unique, and I'd order it again without hesitation. It's not cheap, but it's roughly half the price of their standalone caviar entrée for the same amount of caviar -- so relatively speaking, it's the smarter way to get it. Service was excellent throughout -- good pacing suggestions so we didn't over-order before dessert, and when we couldn't finish the tower, our server packed the leftovers carefully on ice so we could enjoy round two at home. My one regret: ordering a double espresso with dessert. Good on its own, but it clashed with the tropical, ice cream-heavy flavors -- that one's on me, not the kitchen. Sunda remains a place I'll keep coming back to.
